I love this bra! So does my hubby! (I now have 5 of this one; 3 nudes, 1 black, and 1 strawberry - which is red, not pink.) It is really tight for the first wear or two, then stretches. I love a tight band, so I might move it to the middle clasp, but it doesn't ride up on the first hook. I Can't even get it on the 3rd hook.
Looks great under tight tees. Comfy. No poking. I think Cleo is my new favorite brand! Its' soft. I love that I can wear this under strappy tanks and not have my bra cups show!
I do have 1 breast bigger than the other. At times it might swell above the cup a bit, but not a major quad-boob. I tried going up to a 32H, but I was swimming in it on both breasts.
This is definitely the most comfortable bra I've worn. When I very fist put it on it was little tight but after a few hours of wear it stretched to be a little more comfortable. The straps seem like they may be a little wide on my shoulder, but they aren't falling off. It could easily be that i'm just not used to straps fitting like this. My breast doesn't quite fill the cup. It wrinkles a little on the tops, but it's so close that I think after some tissue migration (since this is my first properly fitting bra) it will fill it out because it's very close to fitting cup wise. The underwire is not quite tall enough i think to keep all my breast tissue in placeIt stays firmly in place on my back, and overall it's a rather comfortable bra.
This was way too big. There's not a lot else I can say about it. I compared it my Lily 32H, and they appear to have the same underwire width. The gore was fine, and the design is nice enough. I didn't like the shape it gave me, and even with the cups being huge, my breasts still felt squashed.
Edit: After wearing this for several days I think it's just too shallow for me.
The band is quite tight, I may wear an extender till it stretches out. Also, I still get a tiiiny amount of overspill on my larger side, even after going up a cup size from a 32G (the 32H is too big for me). I also get a small amount of gapping where the cups and straps meet. I think I may have the same issue as the 32G, where the outside edges of the cups cut into my underarms. Time will tell if this is a deal breaker or not.
I have this bra in the Bravissimo-exclusive Purple, and it is absolutely gorgeous. Unfortunately, there is way too much space in the top of the cups. I may try this in a 32G, but when I tried the Candy Pink 32G, the straps were too short, so I'm hesitant. I just want this bra to fit me so badly!
It's generally quite comfortable. I have some fat/migrated bra tissue under my arms, and it does dig in a bit there, but not enough to make it unwearable. The band is comfortable on the loosest hook, and the cups contain my breasts completely. The lace on the top doesn't sit flat, and my understanding is that it's not meant to. The silhouette under clothes is nice, round, and smooth.
It cuts slightly into the top of my breasts. I personally don't like the look of the bra, but heard great things about it, and I think it's my favorite so far. Seems really breathable. I like the separation it gives. And super comfortable.
Cuts in slightly at the top, but there is a little bit of extra space on the sides. Makes my breasts look massive. Doesn't look right under t-shirts but might be fine under something more forgiving. Also, it's pretty comfortable.
Band is on the loose side ( I had too close it on middle hooks). The wires are too narrow - it hurts my breasts on the outside - big NO ( I don't mind small quad-boob but wires are wrong). Cups look OK but I'm going to try 32h to see if the wires will be more suitable and cups won't be too big. In 32gg cup is too small on bigger breast. Cleo bras in bigger cups are supposed to be looser - I do agree, but I'm not sure if I would like try 30hh.
Firstly, it's so pretty! Lovely summer colours and florals, and the pattern on the lace is really nice.
The band- I kinda of think if they made a 31 band in cleo it would be wonderful - as I'm having to wear the 32 on the middle set of hooks from the minute I bought it- on the first set its too big, and a 30 would be too small. However it's a beautifully supportive band made of really nice silky fabric- it's firm but not too vice like.
The cups are a lovely fit- the top lace section isn't too tight which is good as I tend ...to find that the top sections on balconettes always cut in- this does not happen with the bella! The bottom of the cups are not too shallow either- I tend to get orange in the glass when I can't fill out the bottom but get quadraboob on the top- the bella cups fit beautifully all over.
The shape -wow! Very upfront and round- amazing considering its an unmoulded cup!
It could be better however- I find the gore does stab slightly after wearing all day so ill have to bend them slightly, and the straps are a little rough- tho this may go after a few washes. Read more 107 more words
There is a bit of wrinkling in the top of the cup and the straps kind of dig into the area between my armpit and the shoulder. The band on the 32GG is looser than that of the 32G. (band length of 32G is 25.5" and of the 32GG is 27").
I'm not really a fan of the print, but the materials and construction seem decent. Unfortunately, the cups are way too small, and the band is a bit loose. If the cups fit I could wear it to work and be just fine, but it wouldn't take long before the band becomes too loose for me. I'm now looking into 30HH bras. I believe this bra would work for someone full on the bottom, because of the elastic edging at the top of the cup.
I was sent a mislabeled one. So the band was too big. The cups felt really great, though the wire was a bit narrow. It pokes in my right armpit, but I can't figure out if its too short or too high. It didn't poke on my larger breast. When I lost a few kilos, I didn't poke at the smaller breast anymore. It rides down horrible at the front and up in the back. It was pretty good for staying at home in, but for walking around, it was sliding around and digging in under my breasts. I returned it as it was wrongly labeled. I've ...tried ordering a 30HH and I'll see how that fits.
Edit: I tried a 30HH, but it gave a square/pressed against a window shape. The straps were too far out so they dug into my arms. I might try a 32GG again. If the band is too large/becomes too large, I'll alter it.
Edit no. 2: I tried a 32GG again. It fits great in the cups, though the wires are a bit short on the sides. The strap placement is okay. The 32 band is a bit big. I've lost weight since trying the 32GG the first time. I've closed in on the 3rd hook first, but I tried on the 2nd hook too, and it seems okay. If I where to go out and walk around, shop ect, I would close it on the 3rd hook for more support. But right now, sitting at the computer, it actually feels pretty great. The wires also need a little bending, but not until I'm sure if I'll keep it. But I think I will. I'd rather have to alter the band, than having the cup shape be wrong for me in a 30H or 30HH. This is the turquoise one btw, and the other two were the red ones. Read more 210 more words
I fall between a 30/32 band size and since many reviewers said the band size ran very snug I decided to go with the larger size and increased my cup too.Well, it turns out the band is too loose on me,the cups run too big, and the mesh material runs too high also.
I paid less for this then my usual bras and I probably shouldn't have gotten it. The bra is very pretty and the cups fit perfectly, but the band is a little too short and it causes the bra to sit too high up, making the underwires poke into me a little. My wires were a little warped for some reason, so I was able to fix the center gore a little by bending the underwire, but the outer ends poke into my sides when I walk. Also the dots are stitched in and every bra I saw in the store had loose minithreads coming off them a little (1 mm). Still, very pretty bra and I am wearing it for now until I can afford another bra
I read good reviews about alexa bra and I had high hopes when I purchased it. The bra cuts my breast at the top and it has some wrinkles at the bottom. Also it gives me a pointed shape. Unfortunately I think the problem is not the size but the shape(I had similar problems with cleo lucy). Maybe it fits better full on bottom breasts. I feel so sorry that it doesn't fit because it's really cute.
The 32 is a much better fit than the 34 on a 33" ribcage, but the GG cup is undersized even when I take into account the drop in band size. The 34G results in a little quadraboob, but the 32GG substantially does so I'll be seeking a 32HH. Fit/sizing issue aside, it's a pretty good bra. Very good shape, comfy, well made, limited show-through under clothing. I like the lining & smooth, skinny straps. Wish it came with 3 or 4 hooks instead of 2.
Great, comfortable t-shirt bra. Runs true to size. Straps are padded and extremely comfortable. Cups are also padded with a comfortable material. Wires do not poke or rise too high under arms, center gore fits well. Appears smooth under t-shirts. The only problem is that the lace on the cups does not lie flat.
