So I've seen this bra a lot and was never it's biggest fan, but when I was able to swap for it I decided to try it out. I'm now in love with it's look unfortunately it didn't work out well for me. I normally wouldn't try a 70G without reduced cup height, but I figured it has cookie pockets, maybe that will make it work for me. In addition to cookie pockets it has an overlapping gore. Full review on my blog.

This 75H - Comexim » Geisha Plunge Bra (202) is so adorable, I'm willing to overlook the 2 cm gap between the gore and my sternum. Everything else feels amazing as far as the band and how my breasts are lovingly snuggled in the cups. I just think maybe a different style would be more appropriate.

  4. Charme Plunge Longline

    Didn't fit

I love this bra! I am however going to keep this review on the shorter side since it fits very similarly to my Rita longline. This bra is a beige color with a black mesh overlay, and a lace panel followed by a black ribbon at the top. The straps are nice and thick, and the bra features a large black ribbon bow in the middle (all of which can be seen in my pictures).

The first thing I noticed when I put on this bra is how tight the band is relative to the Rita longline I have. While the Rita stretched to about 33.5 inches (which is ... longer than I'd want for a 70 band, but not so looser as to compromise the support since it is a longline), this band stretched to just over 31 inches. This is a tiny bit snugger than I'd like given my comfortable underbust measurement of 31.5 inches, but hopefully it'll loosen a bit. It's still wearable for now. I'm sure that it is at least partially the coloring/material but if you compare the angle view of the Rita (http://bra.pe/I4XG/) to the angle view of the Charme, the bottom of the band definitely appears to fit differently.

The cup also felt a bit deeper than the Rita. However, the measurements say that this extra depth I felt was pretty negligible (the wires are about 0.12 inches narrower and the cup is about 0.03 inches deeper on the Charme, which isn't really significant. The wires on the Charme are a little bit longer though (by a little over 3/4 of an inch), so maybe all of these factors combined made just enough of a difference to be noticeable.

Other than these two differences, the bras are very similar in fit, as they both have all the same alterations. They're both keepers!

EDIT: Just wanted to put in a little edit here after wearing. The bra is pretty comfortable, however it doesn't stay in my IMF at all. It's actually really hard to even force them into my IMF (I have to kind of lean over and shimmy a little) and then once I do, its hard to adjust the band so that it lays flat without pulling it out. The wires seemed to be most comfortable hanging out about the bottom of the front of my rib cage. When I took the bra off, the bottom of the band looked noticeably tighter which was probably the biggest issue. I might just resign this one to be a bedroom/lounging bra (because its so pretty!)

Adjustments: Reduced cup height and straps moved in 2cm. Oddly enough, I had to start this on the second hook. The seams are VERY visible underneath a thinner shirt. I think the cups may be a hair too narrow, but I'm not sure. Most wires are a touch too wide for my comfort, so it may just be an issue of unfamiliarity or tissue migration. Plain, but serviceable. The gore is ALMOST narrow enough, but not quite. Still think I need overlapping wires. All and all, perfect sale bra to help me design my dream Comexim, lol

I got this bra of r/braswap to test a theory I had on Comexim. I have tried a decent amount of Comexim bras, in an array of sizes. I've found 65G sometimes works, but it's a fine border between fitting and too small at least in a lot of the styles I have tried, so I've started getting 65H with reduced cups which works pretty well. However, most of my best fits in Comexim have come from the bras that have some sort of trim along the cup edge and I had yet to try one without trim in a cup volume that worked well. ... I decided that I should experiment with an untrimmed style in the 65G or an equivalent sister size and see how that would work for me. I found this 60H Giselle for a good price and decided to give it a shot.

The Giselle arrived today, and somehow I had totally forgot I was expecting it (I think I'm too eagerly awaiting my Anna Pardal from Sophisticated Pair which should be here any day now). Normally I rush to try on a bra, but this time I logged into my Bratabase and r/braswap accounts because I couldn't remember anything about buying this, after the minute it took to do that I then rushed to try it on, honestly not having high hopes. I try it on and other than needing to wear it with an extender (I expected this as 28/60 bands are usually too small for me), it is perfect. There is no gaping whatsoever and I'm not quadding out of it or even having slight bubbling. Before trying this bra I thought I was going to have to make sure to stick with Comexims that have trim or their 3 part 2 seam half cups.

The only down side to this particular bra is that the lace is visible under thin shirts, but it fits great and is comfortable. It's also cold where I live so I'm usually wearing a hoodie this time of year anyhow.

  11. Irish Coffee Plunge Bra (335)

I just got my first Comexim and the fit is almost perfect. I've been eyeing this model for a long time and am lucky to be able to get this model as it was gone again one month after I got it. I got it on reduced cup height, reduced gore and moved in strap, with added pocket for removable cookies. The bra is so lovely I think it's the prettiest bra in my collections.

    Band:
It is slightly stretchy on my 24" ribcage that I have to hook on 2nd column straight away.

    Underwire:
Fits perfectly in my IMF and stay put the whole day. I like how soft the ... underwire is (it's soft but not flexible enough to bend backward while stretching the band) and I can wear it for the whole day without feeling the underwire!! Even EM's underwire is hard and feel painful on my super boney ribcage after few hours of wear.

    Strap:
Unlike EM bra that always cut me in my armpit, the moved in strap is just perfect for my narrow frame.

    Gore:
Although I asked for reduced gore, it's still a bit high for my liking. I would prefer it to be about half an inch lower, but it doesn't hurt me anyway so it's not a big deal.

    Cup fitting:
The reduced cup height is perfect for my high set boobs, and it's even good for low neckline clothing. The lace color make the bra tends to be a nude bra for my skin color and it does not show through tight fitting clothes. The cup is a bit close on the top edge, thus cuts in on my bigger side. Bottom of the cup is not quite enough for my bottom projection, I'm not sure whether it's designed this way to uplift the breast. Yes, it's very uplifting and give me the best cleavage I ever got in a light padded bra. The material is made of cotton it's so soft and comfortable to wear.

Overall, besides a little misperfection of the cup fits, it is the most comfortable bra in my collections at the moment. I'm going to get more of Comexim soon!

    65G

    Fits

This bra is so beautiful. The navy lace is so soft and elegant, it really looks and feels much more expensive than it is.
I got my usual 65G as a special order plunge and it's a good fit.

The band is tight on my bra, stretching to about 26.5-27. It also has four columns of eyes which is good. I don't need an extender with this because of that fourth column, but my bra is a band size small.
The straps are not embroidered, but the bottom is felted, so the sliders stay in place. They are relatively wide and they are comfortable as they are not super stretchy.
The ... wires are in my fold and follow the root perfectly.

Comexim is a very comfortable bra brand for me. All of their bras just sort of meld to my body and I don't have to mess with them during the day. Nothing slides, nothing has ever bothered me until this bra....the edges of the hooks and eyes are sharp, very sharp. So sharp they rubbed me until I was bleeding (I couldn't change my bra before that point as I was not home). I need to rid the bra of those sharp edges, once I do it'll be fine but until then I cannot wear it again.

The cups on this bra are high. I'm short-rooted and high set and I would benefit from a reduced cup alteration, but I don't ever know what ones I would want reduced until they're in my hands. This is one I would want shorter. The eyelash lace comes up really high and it just isn't as striking as it would be in a shorter cup. Either reduced plunge or the half-cup. Because of this, I'm strongly considering ordering this bra again.

The underwear are wonderful. They're a little more modern than other bottoms I have ordered from Comexim. The crotch panels are narrower and the back panel in the thong is thinner. They're also quite low rise.
The brief is a non-elasticized double layered mesh in the rear, it's a sort of tanga cut and not at all full-coverage. It basically bisects my bum and leaves no lines at all! It's a beautiful pair of underwear and something I can wear under both pants and skirts. I would like all of my brief styles to be cut just like these are, I absolutely love them.
I bought both in a Medium for a good fit of my 38" backside.

Off topic - I decided to erase my tattoos in my more recent photos instead of blurring them out. If it's more distracting, please let me know.

    • This looks amazing on you! I've had my eye on it for a while now but I haven't taken the plunge and bought it yet. If I may ask, how did you get the customization done? I couldn't find it on the website but I know I'd need shorter cups in this for sure. I'm so glad you did this review (even though it makes me want to spend money I don't have). :)

    • Do you find that this bra is comparable in depth to other Comexims you own in the same size? I'm considering buying one and getting it in the plunge as you've done, but I tend to need the Comexim bras that are slightly more deep and narrow than usual.

    • gratiat You can place your order on the website and in the comment box ask for it to be made in a plunge style along with whatever customizations you need.

KeighleyKnight Yes, I found the cups pretty true to size. This measures roughly the same as my other 65Gs with the exception of the stretched band.

This is my first purchase through Bratabase (yay) and my first Polish bra. I'm waiting for an order from Comexim and an Anna Pardal via Sophisticated Pair.

The bra is gorgeous and unusual - gray-silver-taupe lace over a subtle peach base that is almost a nude for me. It gives a beautiful boobs-forward, cakes on a plate effect. It is a plunging style, but not as low as, for example, Freya Deco. This band is quite soft (and comfortable) and thus not especially supportive for the long haul. Were I to buy new, I would size down (I typically wear 32G in most bras, more like 30GG in Freya). Finally, the bra + band, for me, is not 'motion reducing'. There is a considerable bounce, which I am certain will be entertaining to onlookers, but it makes the bra not work-friendly for me. Maybe save for shorter evenings out and times when I know I will be sashaying and strolling and not moving quickly!

I think bras with less coverage on top or stretchy coverage on top seem to bounce more, but i'm not quite sure yet

    • 1

Well, a 75HH Comexim translates to roughly a 34G UK, but Comexim cups are scaled up 2 cm per cup rather than UK's 1". So, you're in a band and probably 1/2-3/4 cup size larger than typical. So, I can understand why it bounces, the whole thing is probably a little loose. But agreed, Sonia is a gorgeous bra.

    • 1

lcl0706, thanks for the sizing translation. This is my first Comexim, and Erica at Sophisticated Pair helped me (via email) try to guess at my best size. But I am definitely in that Polish bras + guesswork + hope = eventually ending up in the right bra and size stage of things! Also, my go-to bra for the past 5 years has been the Fantasie 4510 molded tee shirt bra. Nothing moves in that bra, and I know I am unused to other styles and feelings!

    • 1

If you retry Comexim, I'd say stay in a 32 band, so a 70 band, and try a HH which would be one cup volume down. You'd probably have better luck in a 70HH/32G, and if that feels a bit small due to the whole 2cm vs 1" cup scaling, you can try the band down but retain the cup volume by trying a 70J/32GG.

    • Thanks! I am 98% certain that's what we ended up with for the Anna Pardal bra I'm waiting for. And with Comexim I have two 70G and a 70HH...hmmm (why did I do -that-!?).

I got really lucky and ordered the right size! I couldn't be happier with this. It is SO pretty (I don't think the photos capture this) and the lace is really interesting.

The sides are really high which gives a nice secure feeling. The shape is round and slightly minimized as others have reported with this bra. It is really comfortable and easy to forget that you're wearing it.

The vertical seams do show under clothing so if that bothers you then that is something to be aware of with this bra. It doesn't bother me so I think I'll get a lot of wear out of this.

I bought it as a previously used in great condition. This bra is worth every penny I spent on it. When I saw it at the first time I was almost sure that it will be way too big and I was wrong! Fitting is not 100% perfect (I need like 1/3 size smaller), but is so comfortable!I had it yesterday for few hours and did not have to fix it at all. Even the fact I'm more used to looser bands as Gossards, I found this one really nice. The cups are thin and soft inside. The central gore - fits nice and do not hurts my ... skin, although would rather prefer have it lower for better effectshttps://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />. I have pale skin, but this bra don't show under light shirts and tops, even its like something between nude and caramel. But finally the straps.. first time I didn't have to put them back, they were in the place at all the time!
Cannot wait my Geisha, Basic and Mascotte that are waiting for me back home!

So unlike the other bra I got in 55J (with reduced cups, lowered gore, and straps moved in), this one does fit. In fact, on my larger side it verges on being too small. The Basic is definitely more shallow than Geisha or Vivien and I would say that it does run a bit smaller in the cup. The band on the 55 is true to size, it stretches to exactly 28 inches. It's one of those small but very stretchy ones. The material on the basic I received is very wrinkly and I don't really care for that. It's not the band being too tight, it's just ... a fairly wrinkly satin. The lace at the tops of the cups and the pearl on the gore in the middle is a nice touch.

I tried the basic before in 60HH with no alterations and found it much too tall and large. The alterations really do make all the difference here as this bra is much more suited to me. The cups are fairly shallow at the bottom and have a tendency to move downward. Oddly, the silhouette is fairly minimized but rounded. The wires are nice and narrow on this. Again, as a note, cup width decreases between the 60 band and the 55 band in the same cup volume. Be aware of this if you're sister sizing.

Overall, Basic is a great basic bra (who woulda thought) but I'm not dying over it. Vivien and Mystic Plunge definitely are still my winners!

I'm so in love with this bra! It fits absolutely perfectly and I love the pattern. I now want all of Comexim's Longlines. They did alter this bra from a half cup to a plunge longline. It runs VERY tight (24.5 inches for a 26 band) and is quite tapered so if you're ordering one you may wish to size up. There's no boning in the longline and it does do the weird gore-bubble thing Joy does. There are still only 2 columns of hook and eyes on it. Gore height, cup height, and straps are all standard. I'm so in love guys, I can't believe I got this beauty for $45.

Do you think they would make 'Elena' Into longline just like you have ?

    • 1

I believe that they can make any bra into a longline as long as they have enough fabric. So you can't for any of the ones on sale, but other than that Anna said they could make any of them.

This is the coolest bra ever, I mean it's the moon!

So, I pretty thoroughly reviewed the awesomeness of the Luna in a 60F, so I'll keep this a little shorter.
This one was sold to me by another user, so it's been worn and washed. It's still the softest bra in the world! So, that's nice.
The fit on this is pretty perfect, wires are a great width, cup depth is perfect, straps and band are all comfortable. I have absolutely no complaints except that my gore doesn't tack :/
At this point I have four Comexims, Two tack, two don't. Despite the lack of contact, it doesn't seem to ... have any sort of impact on support or comfort. I do not quad when I push it in and it does not tack if I use an extender. So, it's not me and it's not the bra, and I don't care https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":D" />

Undies are a size S for my 38" bum and 31" hip bones. They're a cute little hipster/boyshort cut that shows quite a bit of cheek on me. I love the Luna to the Luna and back ;) It also doesn't tack on me, but I find it's "closer" to tacking if I use an extender, though it's perfectly comfortable without one.
It really is so soft, it's incredible! I'm currently wearing a 60H in it right now, myself. I'm really tempted to get those matching undies because they look adorable in those photos!
