Sorry for taking so long to review this. I ended up having to switch a therpay appointment with someone last minute for yesterday, which meant working on projects last minute and I just ended up managing my time poorly. Dx
I LOVE this bra. I could definitely use a 65G, but it's really comfortable regardless (goodbye VS bras). Even with cups just slightly small, this is the only bra besides my VS 32DD that I forget I'm wearing. So, that makes this my only supportive bra that I forget I'm wearing. In all honesty, for support and comfort's sake, I'd be willing to fill my drawer with the same bra.
I'm unsure ...of what other models are similar, but I need them all. xD
The straps adjust long enough for me, cup separation, like the Coco, is on point (touching wires), the gore tacks even though the cups are somewhat too small; there's more room on top (8") than bottom (7.5"), making the bottoms wrinkle and stretch, and my boobs quad, but not enough to be a problem or very noticeable at all. It doesn't show through shirts or affect comfort, as a matter of fact, the thing I'm most concerned about is hurting the bra because when fully scooped, my boobs push the lace out further than the padded part. Again, not noticeable, doesn't affect comfort, but I hope it will be ok for the bra. In any case, I will probably order a 65G at some point if this bra is still available when I have more money. It's just too gorgeous, and I love the light padding.
Speaking of which, the padding: I added this to my Comexim Basic 60HH review, but I think it's important to add to all my reviews from now on. I know padding type is something I look for in reviews, because I'm not very interested in heavy, thick, or light but stiff moulding. I hate moulding. As I mentioned to a fitter who gave me an epically round, moulded Chantelle: The top of my boobs don't look like that and it just looks really awkward to have flat space with a round bubble randomly jutting out(cup was covering my boob and had too much upper depth and height). Literally makes me look like a flat line pretending I have boobs, like a "b". Not like a pushup, just like bubble cups sitting on my chest. These cups look great on women with upper fullness and projection, but they look really awkward on my flatter upper chest.
It's much more pleasant for me to see a gradual sloping out. My natural boobs slope out gradually, and a decent padded bra with shorter cups and good lift works best, and looks much more appropriate with my body. I can make do with the Deco Vibe and Charm, but they're also not too high for me.
So, these cups are very lightly padded like Freya longlines, and "flimsy", which sounds like a negative word(for some reason?) but is very good in this case. The cup seems to be a true half cup/plunge, and lightly lined, so it retains some of your natural sloping/shape. The padding on the Emanuelle is much softer and a tiny bit thinner than the Basic.
Personally, I don't know if a higher gore would work better for me, or just the G. I do experience a tiny amount of falling into the center, or at least a sensation that I will. I think to be safe, I might order a higher gore on some of my next Comexims, but for this I'll just see if the larger cups work (at some point! ) I have somewhat softer tissue, so if you do too, you may want to consider ordering a higher gore.
I was thinking, I know there's already a lot of measurements, but maybe there could be a "bottom cup depth" and "top cup depth" in the future. For bras where you're only measuring deepest depth, if they're padded like this, I can see them working for softer tissue like my own maybe, but not so much firmer, very FoB boobs. Hopefully these things will be stated in reviews, but it's a little easier to tell if a cup is FoB, even, or FoT, and to what extent, from measurements. I can push my tissue around, so a FoT >padded< cup with slightly more depth isn't much of an issue for me(a lot of depth & height definitely is), but I can see it being more an issue for firmer tissue that can't be as easily manipulated.
I digress. Shape is very nice and uplifted. The cups are up front and centered, but don't make all side tissue disappear and look awkward like some Fantasie/side support bras I've tried. Rounded, upifted, great cleavage.
Wires are narrow, band is perfectly snug; not too tight, not loose, and the material used makes it undetectable when wearing (at least for me). I'm starting to dislike the strong elastic feeling of my Deco Vibe, and I had the same feeling with Fantasie Evie Plunge. They're not too tight, it just feels like there's nothing covering the elastic and that the ridges are hurting my skin. I'm a sucker for comfy fabrics, and this outweighs VS Body bra fabric. By a long shot. I thought those were like clouds, but whatever is on the cups and band in this is amazing. As I said previously, Comexim and Cleo are my new go-to bras. Though I really would rather just buy Comexim from this point on.
The detailing on this is just beautiful. I'd been eyeing the Emanuelle on Comexim.pl, but didn't order myself one because I didn't realize just how pretty it was. I also had no idea how nice it would be because up until now, I've just had the unpadded Comexim (also heaven sent). I knew the quality was great with that, but didn't know what to expect in padded bras.
Anyway, I would recommend this for anyone who needs narrow wires, has sensitive skin, possibly high set or low set breasts with tall, shallow roots, needs some projection, closer set boobs naturally or when lifted, and has either smaller, softer, FoT, slightly FoB, or even breasts (I can't speak for larger), or firm, FoT or almost even-but fuller on top, breasts. And anyone who wants amazing uplift.
This came earlier yesterday and I actually almost cried from relief after I tried it on.
I started Spironolactone again recently, and a daily 10 minute massage. Something I've known about, but felt awkward actually doing. I was 40-50lbs heavier between 2013 and mid 2014, wearing(probablg poorly fitting) 36-38C's. I thought I was experiencing pain because my 34/36 bands were too small, but I imagine I was about a 34E or F. My boobs were huge, but I lost almost all firmess and any shape I'd finally obtained after losing weight. I've noticed a lot of improvement in my breast shape and texture from what I've been doing.
Growing up with ...my boobs the way they've been, being teased(before I wore a bra to hide my shape), and being self conscious in general has been a nightmare to me.
These last two bras and my new routine have made me feel so much relief, I can't even put it into words. Things just keep getting better, and in the bra/boob world, my luck has been consistently improving.
I'm sure I'll always mostly hate my boobs, but perfectly fitting bras make them bearable.
By measurements, I thought the Coco would be good, and it's perfect. This bra is on top with my Cleo Lucy. I just want to give all my other bras away.
The wires are the perfect width, the depth is just enough, and the band is very taut, while still being comfortable.
After receiving this and the Cleo Lucy, I think I'm ready to get rid of some bras that haven't worked as well for me. I'm (probably)not even going to bother with VS anymore. ;p I have super high hopes for Comexim and Cleo.
The appearance of this bra is really lovely IMO, and gives a very nice rounded shape. The lace is very comfortable, and not at all elastic-y like I've experienced with many lace unlined bras. I don't mind the elastic lace, except when it's too tight or on the top band of the cups(think Just Peachy Lace Non Padded Balconette). The lace on these cups is nothing like that whatsoever.
I was a little concerned about the band (28-29") but again, it's absolutely perfect. I'm so so so happy to have finally found my perfect bras.
I knew that my Freya Hopscotch Longline was a tiny bit off, but when I started here I thought it was the most perfect fit I was going to get. It fits well and I love the uplift, but it's so far from a bra that I feel was "made for me". I love this bra and the Lucy(and Spiro! fyi high androgen levels) for giving me some self esteem back.
I think the Coco will work for narrow roots that need some, but not major projection. I usually wear 30E's with 8.5-9" depth depending on the type and shape of bra, and this fits me perfectly. I also customized some old wires at 5.3" width, so that's what I need, precisely, and this bra measures about 5.3". I feel like it was made for my boobs.
The gore is also much closer than my Cleo Lucy(which I will note, does not bother me in the Cleo, but it's just a few centimeters difference which I like), and the cups are less bowl shaped. I don't mind the semi-bowl shape in the Cleo either, it's not major, still narrow, and still fits me wonderfully, but I'm just saying, this is the perfect fit for me in every way. The wires are a lot more U shaped.
One thing I did notice is that my left, larger side, also my slightly more FoT side, appears to quad just slightly. I don't believe it's noticeable, it doesn't affect comfort, and I may just need to loosen the strap. With that said, I think this bra works well for even fullness, but may also work for just slightly more FoB or slightly FoT. There seems to be room for even fullness in the cups.
In a shirt, this bra gave me a slightly minimized look, which I wasn't expecting because without the shirt I don't feel like it's minimizing. Assuming that's from the rounding out vertical seams. Still, I like the up front and centered, but rounded look much more than the off to the sides look that I get from a lot of other bras, regardless of which appears fuller.
With and without a top, this gives a really great rounded profile and appears more natural for my body volume wise, which I like a lot. The half cup is also a true half cup and works perfectly for me. It's nice to actually have a half cup that doesn't have super wide/wide wires, and that's literally a half cup everywhere else but just in the name. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" /> I normally have had problems with unpadded half cups cutting into my tall roots/muscle, but didn't have that problem at all with this, probably because it is, well, a true, actual "half cup".
My shoulders measure a few inches more than my hips, but I have a small frame, so I have problems with wide straps at times. The straps aren't too far apart on this, which is always a huge plus.
Vertical seams don't appear thick, and I doubt will show at all under clothes. They give a great rounded profile. The wires are narrow, and centers(gore) touches, so they give a nice, up front and centered look face on. Something I have an awful hard time finding in most bras.
This bra is perfect. I'm super excited to make my next Comexim purchases after receiving this https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> I'm pretty sure that unless I get distracted by something shiny, Comexim and Cleo are all I'll be buying for a while.
Got this bra from another bratabase user and... this is my best fit yet! Yayyy!!!! This bra is so freaking comfortable, I have felt the need to take it off and check to make sure it really does have underwires. My photos do show slight gapping at the inside edge of the cup, especially on the right side, but that's nursing-related deflation and me holding my arms out. Give me an hour and the gaps'll be gone.
Pros: Gorgeous dark blue-green color with pretty black embroidery. My photos do *not* do this bra justice. Band is comfortably snug on the loosest hook and doesn't move around on me-- also, it ...has 4 sets of hooks instead of the usual 3, so I should be able to get a lot of wear out of it before the band stretches too big for me. Cups fit perfectly with NO gapping and no quadding, and this is the first bra I've had that's not trying to push itself down out of my IMF all the time. Wires seem to be the perfect width/ shape, and I didn't even consider bending them. Like I said above, while I'm wearing it, it doesn't even feel like it has an underwire. Also, this is the non-matrix sized bra I've tried on where the straps aren't placed way too wide for all of my clothes. They follow the straps of my tank tops exactly, which is fantastic. Did I mention that it's super-comfy? Like I'm getting a boob-hug all day!
Cons: I don't like bows in general, and this one is just silly looking to me. I'm probably going to take it off and replace it with a pretty button. No really, that's the only con. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":D" />
Update: Replaced the bow with the aforementioned pretty button, and now there are ZERO cons to this bra. Seriously, I need 5 more of them in different colors. Best. Bra. Ever. Read more 215 more words
Get alterations if you're short and have a narrow frame - seriously. I'm a big fan of this bra, though I do feel that the band is riding up. Maybe this has a stretchy band? I might have to invest in a 55 band or something for the Basic model, oddly enough. I guess a 55J is where I need to go for this, which sounds crazy to me but I guess isn't that crazy. The cups have been lowered, as has the gore, and the straps have been moved inward. I am positive this would be too tall and would hurt my armpits, otherwise. My bigger breast is coming out near the gore whilst my smaller one is sitting pretty. Not sure what to do about that. Would one cup size up end up being too much? It's not uncomfortable, but the seams show through clothes on my larger side (left boob) and don't on my smaller side.
"thinking all bras will make your boobs look like one half of a basketball" LOL
Does your gore tack? Do the straps feel close enough?
I've been considering a custom order with straps moved in and reduced cup, but your cups still look so tall and straps still look so far! Maybe I am just shape incompatible/Lily-spoiled.
Also, on the details: it seems like Comexim just uses whatever they have in stock whenever? For example, my beige Basic has the pearl on the bow, and also has lace detailing sewn all the way up the front of the straps. This actually makes the straps more supportive/less stretchy, so I don't have to tighten them as much. I've seen other beige basics with different/no strap detailing seemingly at random.
LOL but really, I'm still very shocked when my boobs don't look like perfect half-spheres! The gore does tack. I do want the straps moved further inward, so I guess on my next order I'll be like "move them way further than you'd ever do this", and I really could stand to have the cup height shortened more. My inner fullness is bulging out but the top is still out in no-boob land, though not as bad as the 60K I tried. I'll ask for extra height reduction, too. I wonder why they have so much variation with that! I wish I had some detailing on these straps - they're also almost an inch wide, which is kinda crazy, and they are very very stretchy. Thank you for telling me that! I'll have to keep all of this in mind...
NP! Some lace on straps could be added to yours easily. I'm sure a tailor would do it for like $5, or anyone with any sewing knowledge (read: not me!). I can send you pictures of how they stitched it on if that's something you'd be interested in.
Also, I'm not sure if they would do a more extensive alteration (something Asophisticatedpair said in one of her blog posts somewhere), so be doubly sure. Sophpair also replied to one of my comments on one of her posts and said Comexim is developing a new cut which would be more balconette-like, so I'm holding out for that.
I know, right?! It's definitely my favorite out of all the bras Comexim sells.
Glad you finally got it! I used to have that bra, but I grew tired of my husband saying it looked like fabric from an old couch (gah, men are so dumb.) Yes, those Comexim bands can be TIGHT sometimes. I prefer 70 or even 75 bands from them when I prefer 65 and 70 from Ewa Michalak. It is unreal the comfort from their wires and wings, though. :)
Haha, I can see how your husband would compare it to an old couch. My grandmother had a floral couch when I was little. She had it covered in plastic and never used it (silly). I really couldn't believe the wires! Looking at measurements of other bras in the size range, it looks like I got a little lucky and that they should have been a bit wider and taller, but I won't look a gift horse in the mouth, lol.
Holy moly this bra is pretty. Beige bras never looked so good. That being said, I'm a sad kitty 'cause it doesn't fit https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
Band: could barely get it to stretch to 30". Needed 3 full additional hooks on an extender to get it on. Asked for the 2x3 hook closure to be replaced with a 3x3 so that's great, if only I could get it on. Cups: width measures a little big but that's because of the deep plunge so it feels fine on but the cups arent big enough. I've got a decent amount of quad. Possibly because this bra stopped at 75H and I requested a larger size so the grading might be off or it might just run small. Gore is super low
My UK size is 32JJ / K. This 75M does fit me surprisingly well. The band does fit just right. If I wear the bra more than 2 days in a row (I know, I shouldn't!) I have to wear it on the second hook as the band stretches out a bit with wear. The wires are quite narrow (compared to other bras in that size range) and are just perfect for me. The cups are very tall which is perfect for my tall / full – on – top boobs. The bra is very comfortable and supportive. My main issue is that the gore is too low and ...floating. The cups are slightly small, I get some overspill towards the centre because my boobs are very centre heavy. I don't get some severe quadboob though. Or let's say it's not visible under a t-shirt, so if it's not visible I don't call it an issue. Still I think, I'd need another cup size up + a taller gore to get a proper fit in this bra. I like the colour, it's a nice “beige” that goes quite well with my rather pale skin. Most so called “nude” colours end up being too yellowish on my skin but this one is just perfect. I absolutely love the shape I get in this bra! It's a perfect round shape from the side <3 Read more 123 more words
When I received this bra I was extremely disappointed. The outer fabric was absolutely cut too big for the cup and was bunching in every direction. The band was a little loose for me but that's fine for most days when I don't need a lot of support. It is frustrating that with Comexim in particular I can never anticipate the correct band length to order because every one is different. I have a 65 that is too large, a 65 that is way too small, this 70 that is a little too large, and I had a 75 that was fine. The ...cups and gore are always consistent though, and perfect for me, so I live with bra extenders and doing minor band alterations when necessary.
The pros: interior construction was all perfect, the cup fit perfectly for my even to FoT breasts, the gore is narrow enough for my extremely close set positioning, and the width and length of the wire is a perfect perimeter to my shape. The cons: poor cutting for outer fabric on cups, unpredictable band length
After several years of just accepting bunchy bra showing through even thick clothes, I saw the material in the band starting to wear away and decided to take a chance on finally fixing the cups, as I wouldn't be that sad if I screwed up a dying bra, and I'd feel better about getting a replacement if I knew I could fix this in the future. I am so pleased with the results, I wish I had done it much sooner. Read more 158 more words
This was my first ever unlined Comexim bra. I went for a custom 3HC cut since that's my favorite padded style and best fit in general. I loved the lightweight materials and the look and feel, but the fit was more shallow than expected. I wrote up my review and fit adventure as a comparison with the next size up. You can find the full review on my blog.
I waited for a long time for this and when I got it I had started to gain weight again and it was too small. I have been holding onto it since, but it’s still too small and I don’t know if it’s going to ever fit me again.
The cat print is super cute, albeit a little bit weird at the same time.
In the up and down and fluctuations of my weight and size of the past few years, it’s been a challenge. I decided to swap the too small 65G Ingrid for this, but it is a bit too big. I think the current Comexim size for me is 70G. The big boob barely fits and the smaller boob has extra space. There are cookie pockets that I can use, but despite the band measurement being about 30” give or take, it still feels a little too snug, so I’m not sure I should bother putting them in.
The bra is so beautiful though. I love the pastel blue ...and taupe flowers on the ivory base. It’s very pretty. I’m kind of tempted to see if it can be made into an unpadded bra.
It pains me to list it, but even if I gain weight again to fit in the cups more, it’s not super comfortable enough to keep without further alterations.
Update: it does seem to fit me better right now, but it is still a little bit big and not super comfortable in the band…ok for occasional wear though Read more 82 more words

This is a bra that totally underwhelmed me with the stock photos until I saw it listed on Breakout Bras final sale and the extra picture added, and then I realized it was actually quite a beautiful and delicate design, and definitely worth the $21. At this point I opted to go with a medium and a large bottom based on the fit of the Clara bottoms in medium, as they are cut in the same style.
I’m struggling to find the right word to describe the pattern of the print…it makes me think of something floral, but if it is, I don’t know what flower it is. ...The print is actually not white, as it looks, but rather a very very light blushy ivory. It’s super delicate looking, and it appears to be on black mesh over black foam cups, so I bet it would be awesome as a soft cup 3HC. The fit of this one is a little bit smaller than Clara is, and the wires border on being too narrow. The cups are also a little more closed on top than Clara. That said, for unaltered, this is probably the best size. I do wish it had the extra column of hooks, but it’s all good.
The large bottoms are more comfortable with more coverage in the back, but both sizes technically fit…it’s just personal preference for the larger ones. Read more 126 more words
Thank you BraOdyssey ! Comexim is great for the black bras that are far from boring. I’m really really tempted to get this as a soft cup 3HC.
This looks great on you. And that pattern is subtle but eye catching. It almost has an Art Deco vibe. I’m also between sizes in the bottoms. I usually go with the large because I also prefer the fuller coverage.
Yeah it’s definitely an understated print, but I think you’re right about the art deco style. I think I’m probably just going to get the large in them but I can do a medium if it’s the only size available.
I had told myself I was going to stop ordering Comexim bras, since I never seem to be able to find a perfect fit, but I caved in yet again. This time, I really wanted a long line bra, and Comexim was the only option that had my size that I could get in a couple of days. The cups gape on me much like my 70O - Comexim » Adele. I'm wondering if Comexim regraded their cup sizes at some point, since the 70O - Comexim » Piume Blu (CMPIUMEB) and 32K - Comexim » Tara Non Padded ...Half Cup 3hc Underwire Longline cups (both older styles) seem smaller than the cups on my more recent purchases. While the cups aren't quite right on me, the long line does help my back a lot. This doesn't work so well for me under a thin T-shirt, but under dresses and dress shirts, it's great. On another note, is there a "Putting on Longline Bras for Dummies" out there? The second time I wore this bra, it took me 5 attempts to fasten and spin it. It was almost as nerve-wracking as my experience putting on my 32J - Curvy Kate » Luxe Strapless Basque (CK017707) ... Read more 112 more words
Love the color on you, and being back pain free is a win in my book. Wish there was some trick to getting it on, I do the same thing you do.
I know it's a little tricky to get on a longline bra. Thankfully, Comexim's longlines are not super long. I know some other people who fasten bras in the front while wearing silk camisole. Then twist the bra around; because the silk is so, well, slippery, it works :) Then lastly slide out the silk cami. I don't know if this would work for a longline though.
I admit I've never tried this method, but I was planning to, lol. Congrats on the "bra win."
This patter is super cute! I expected it to be a little more lavender, but to me leans a little more pink in color. Of course I’m a sucker for gray, so I love the strap color.
The cup is a three part construction. The inside of the cup is a beige cotton foam lining material. The outer cup is a charcoal gray dot printed fabric on a pinkish/lavenderish background. The fabric has a silky feel to it. There is a light gray trim along the top of the cup that is also found on the side wings. There is a tiny gray bow on the center gore. ...The elastic straps are charcoal gray with pink hardware. The back clasp is a 3x4 closure with gray hooks. The back band is made of a beige stretch fabric with the printed fabric on the outer layer.
Briefs size Large: The panties are a matching dot fabric. The front panel has two vertical trim pieces that matches the trim along the bra cup. The back panel is one piece, joining the front panel at the hip. There is a beige cotton gusset in the crotch. All elastic is charcoal gray in color. Read more 92 more words
Editing Review: Origenally posted sharing that I had recieved this bra from a fellow user but was having trouble uploading any of my pictures on bratabase. Someone from bratabase helped me figure out my issue, so I am adding to this review
I did want to share my excitement aquiring new bras, particularly this Comexim Treasure Padded Plunge Bikini top in size 65HH. I found what I may consider a "bra sibling" here on bratabase (someone who has a similar shape profile, tissue density, and size to myself. *Not exact but certainly close enough that they were able to send me a few awesome pieces*) I am assymetrical ...and one breast is smaller than the other with a different root so its been hard to find OTR options that are comfortable on both sides, but this 65HH/30G Comexim treasure Padded Plunge Bikini was close to perfection and so comfortable that i litterally wore it in place of a bra one day. i stumbled across the listing in my size range, but what grabbed my attention was the underwires pictured. The shape of the underwire was exactly what I pictured myself needing and the other measurments looked right. The user also sent me two other bras at a fair price. (An unlined Ewa and Curvy Kate bra which were also great. Thanks!) It's so comfortable! It's near perfect on both breasts somehow and a better fit than my current best fitting bras. I feel like I can use it to more successfully gauge future bra purchases. This bra offered enough projection for the cup width and enough depth to accomidate my innerfullness while still fitting comfortably elsewhere, the wires were nicely under my IMF, the gore mostly tacked and the band wasn't too firm or tight. The straps are close set and adjust enough? The cups weren't too tall and it didn't leave any gaping near my TOS. I Love this and I am so happy it fits. My Comexim 60M Padded Half Cup is too big after I lost some weight, so I'm glad I have a supportive Swimsuit for the summer. Thank you WildWolff for helping and sending me these. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Read more 263 more words
About me: short roots, FOB, centre full, close set, pendulous. Somewhat soft tissue.
First off, my photos do not do this bra justice. It’s really pretty in person and is very supportive!
This bra is unlined 3 part balcony/plunge style, it’s a cream colour, sheer, bottom half of cup is double mesh strong tulle and top half of cup is lace and tulle, also strong with little to no stretch. It has a low and narrow gore and 3x3 hooks. There is a bow in the centre with a crystal bead (I’ll probably take the bead off, it’s kinda cheap looking). The lace has a slight shimmer in parts.
This ...bra fits me almost perfectly. It is true to size in cup and band. I have strap gap, but I almost always do and it doesn’t bother me. Otherwise the cups fit me so well. It is very supportive and gives a nice shape under clothes, somewhat rounded but natural and supported. I thought the lack of stretch in the cups would be a problem for me, but thankfully the cups fit me so well. Actually I think the the lack of stretch helps support my heavy soft boobs!
This bra was custom made for my size, as it only went up to 75H on their website. Compared to my other unlined Comexim, this one has firmer wires. I’m not sure if they chose that because of the custom size, but it does help with support. The straps are longer than my other comexims so I had to tighten them a bit more.
Overall, I am so impressed and will probably get some more unlined Comexims in the future. Read more 169 more words
I'm so glad you tried an unlined Comexim! It looks great. I re-ordered this one in a better size because I love the design. I think it will be perfect for summer. It looks much more supportive as a balcony bra, although the gore is pretty short compared to the padded plunges. I have to order the gore lowered and the top lace section fits and looks a little odd at an angle. I agree that the firmer mesh and two layers help with soft tissue. I didn't think it was possible to get a round shape with a mesh bra until I tried the Polish options.
Thanks WildWolff , your review inspired me :) I have another unlined Comexim 3HC but the size is too small, so this is my first unlined balcony/plunge style. Right now I’m finding Ewa Michalak bras don’t fit me well or are uncomfortable, so I was very happy this one worked!
margesimpson I went through a similar experience when I went from 30FF to 30G a few months back. At 65FF Ewa Michalak fit well and was comfortable. I didn't realize I needed such a low gore until I went up a cup size. At 65G the fit felt totally different in the exact same bras! I was stuck in PLs everyday which is okay, but sometimes I want unlined and more comfort. I'm glad Comexim is affordable and I can get alterations. Comfort is important!
WildWolff yeah I went up a cup size too and I’m finding Ewas gores to be painful. Im also unsure of my proper size in Ewas. The only ones I’m considering are the PLM and the Sm Czarna Mgiełka but honestly, I’m really preferring Comexims for now. Yay comfort!
About me: Tall roots, low set, centre-full, projected but self-supporting, even vertical fullness, average-to-narrow roots but functionally narrow, somewhat close set, firm tissue. Average width shoulders but muscular-ish. ABTF calculator size: 26J/JJ, best fitting bra: Comexim Pearl Flower Mint 3HC in 60N.
Overview: Bought this from Breakout Bras on clearance sale for $12 USD. Band fits TTS for a 28 band, meaning it's supportive enough for me, but it is a bit too big and rides up a bit over the day. This bra is really sexy looking with the leopard print, eyelash lace edging and gold on the straps.
Details: This ...bra is a little too shallow for me, and my boobs fight it a bit, which is surprising because my Pearl Flower Mint 3HC in 60N fits me perfectly and that's the same cut but one cup size smaller. I get the problem I always get in bras that are too shallow in the apex which is that as my boobs push the apex of the cup outwards I get folding and gapping along the rim of the cup. About me: Measure about 26FF, moderately projected, even-to-FOB with short roots, functionally narrow roots, close set, center full, about 1-2 cup size asymmetry.
This bra fits similarly to my other 55J - Comexim » Pearl Flower Mint Half Cup except with taller cups. Not bad on my smaller side but too small on my bigger side. My boobs refuse to quad or spill out the top and instead push the whole bra, wires and all, on top of my breast tissue, which is quite painful. Interestingly enough, the unstretched cup depth is the same (7.75") but the stretched-over-the-knee depth (which is what really matters in terms ...of fit) of this bra is bigger, so the cups are stretchier. The cups are the perfect height for me at 5.5" - if only they were just a bit deeper!
The band is made of only 1 layer of firm mesh compared to the PFM, which might be why it is a bit stretchier. But it feels just as stable and well constructed as the 2-layer bands, though. The straps are nice and wide. Overall, it's a quality basic bra but unfortunately not a fit. Read more 85 more words
Thanks to Anya99 for this bra. Altered with straps moved in, reduced cups, reduced gore, slightly overlapped wires, cookie pockets added. I usually go for a 65K/L in Comexim but the measurements looked good for me and I wanted to try out more alterations before ordering from Comexim directly. The band is pretty stretchy so I wore it a couple times with an extender before it comfortably fit without. The alterations changed the cup volume a bit. It fits smaller in the cup than my 65K Snake Plunge which I wear with a cookie on the smaller side. I like the colors and print and ...it is very comfortable. I've tried several Comexim styles now and there is added comfort in moving the straps in, but my soft tissue escapes the sides more often than when the straps are wider. This doesn't affect the fit much, but it does give the appearance of major underarm bulge if I wear it with a tank top. I need a reduced gore for my symmastia and it fits nicely at the gore. Looks great on you! Love that pattern ( too bad it’s discontinued)
margesimpson thanks! I tried to get a good picture of the pattern, it looks so much better in real life than in any of the photos I've seen. And it's a really soft fabric, not like the shiny, rigid fabric on my Snake Plunge.
cute colours! this looks great on you!
they don't do a lot of plunge bras like this anymore- where the lace extends on the entire third of the cup.
BraOdyssey I hadn't noticed the difference, good observation! The cups on this are reduced which may change where the lace starts and ends. The lace is also a little stiffer than I'm used to on a bra so it lays flat under shirts, which I really like.
This bra is quite wearable with an extender, but I find it to be a little tight in the band for me right now without an extender.
My stats: FOB, close-set breasts with narrow roots, projected, center-full, average root height. I find that Comexim padded plunges and unpadded 3HCs work well for me, and also Ewa Michalak BM.
This is vintage Comexim, lol (like from 5 years ago); the cups are super comfy, they make my boobs look amazing [imho, lol] and fabric is super soft and luxurious!! : ) I love it! thank u Anya99 for your fabulous collection that you are selling. ...10/10 seller!
Anyway, what to say about this bra that I haven't said before about Comexim (one of my favs...): it is typical Comexim, high quality construction, lovely design, soft and comfy materials. I don't feel that anything is scratchy or irritating my skin in this bra. The cups seem super deep - I mean, this is a sister-size down + 1 cup than what I normally wear, I'm not sure if the construction is different from years ago- I honestly haven't tried enough comexim bras from years ago - but the band does seem tighter than when I tried a newer 65K plunge bra last spring (from Breakout Bras), FWIW.
Anyway, I do enjoy this bra and it's pleasant design: when I wear it with an extender, it does give me strap gap - and I've noticed this with both of the bras that I wear with an extender - the extender makes the straps in the back a little bit wider, giving me some strap gap in the front. Ideally, I wouldn't have to use an extender for these bras, so that's why I usually get a 70 band : ) but I saw this bra on the listings in size 65K, so I just had to buy it. After all, it was on my "wish list"!
I noticed (I don't believe this bra has alteration at all) how petite-friendly these bras are: if you notice in the pic from the side, I have a lot of space between *where the cup ends* and my underarm. The cup height is fine for me on the side(for reference, I'm 5'7), but this makes these bras particularly good for petite people/people with short roots and/or high-set breasts, imo.
