My shape is low set, soft, slightly pendulous, narrow and short rooted.
This bra is a very pretty mauve colour with lace detailing in the cups and along the band (all the way around to the back of the bra). The straps measure wide (width wise) for this bra, which I didn't realize before I saw it in person. The straps and little classy bow on the gore are both black. I think darker mauve straps may have worked better with the aesthetics of the bra, but it's still pretty with the black straps. They're just not as delicate looking as the rest of the bra, that's all. (Edited ...to add: I see a picture of a 70F with mauve straps and it looks very pretty...not sure if that was a special request, but I wish this one had those straps instead of the black ones it came with).
This is a three-part half cup with fairly tall cups... in this size anyways. I measured them at about 6.3" tall. That is slightly taller than what my short roots prefer, but it still fits me nicely. I did request a reduced gore, overlapping gore, straps moved in, and for this to be made as a 3HC wth no longline material. I have no way of verifying that any of those alterations were done, but I believe they were. For example, the other Bridget in 65HH says that the gore height is 3.5", mine is 2.6".
The band fits what I consider to be fairly true to size. It stretched to about 29" before the wires just started to distort, but it could have stretched further. It has 3 clasps with 4 sets of hooks, which is awesome. I think because it was a longline, it has taller wings and better band support than it would have otherwise. I love the tall wings and 3 sets of hooks.
The shape it gives is rounded but slightly minimized (I think) due to wider cups. I feel like the wires still follow my IMF pretty well, but I could go with narrower wires, and then I'd probably get a more projected, rounded and up-front shape. That could also be because the cups are slightly too large for me at this time of the month. I feel enclosed but not as supported as I could feel. A 65HH would probably have worked out for me, but I chose the 65J because my 65HH Comexim Coco (381) feels like it's squishing me a little.
Comfort is amazing in this bra, as with all my Comexims that I've tried. Right from the moment I put it on, there is no chaffing, rubbing, poking, or stabbing. I wore it yesterday and I didn't even know it was there.
All in all this is a beautiful delicate looking bra with great comfort and quality. Read more 368 more words
This bra's measurements have been altered
Altered straps,
Lowered gore by 1 – 1.5 cm, Overlapping gore, Straps moved in 1 cm, Made as a 3HC not a longline
It looks so nice and elegant. It looks pretty supportive too because of the 3 seams and wider straps -- how does the support compare to Comexim padded bras?
That is very lovely, it looks great on you.
yogurt this feels as supportive as my padded comexim half cups. I've only tried one plunge, and it was too big on me, so I can't compare to the plunges.
That is gorgeous!
I SOOOO look forward to trying comexim's non-padded bras. I really do not like padded bras very much and find that they are not as supportive as non-padded bras. Although I don't really like how this doesn't have the typical style/cut of a half cup which has a straight-ish line going across the top of the cups. This one has like a triangular shape coming down from the straps. So it's more like a plunge/half cup conglomerate. Thx for the review!
Thank you Sovavosi , yogurt ,and Sonya !
LeProfessor Comexim bras are so comfortable though, nothing compares in my experience. And the reason this has more of an angular look to it is because I had the gore lowered. It's normally an inch higher, which would give it more of that half cup look. So yeah, the way it's altered it's almost like a half cup in the seams but a plunge in the cup angle.
This bra is the first bra that I’ve ever felt I was going to pop out of if I move or bend over. The cups on this are closed and feel shorter because of the angle of the cups. They are 7.5” high, comparable to other half cups in this size range. While the cups measure at 11.5” deep like some of my other bras, the angle and height makes the cups feel smaller.
The material is silky and soft, and the straps set wider than any other Comexim bra I’ve tried. The back clasp has a scratchy bit on it that is not covered over by fabric and pokes me in the middle of the back. The bows are tiny and discreet.
I’d have to say that short or shallow roots might have to size up on this one.
It looks great in the photos! Do you think it will still be wearable under winter clothing? I know my quad boob issues aren't noticable under sweatshirts (which I happily live in during Fall to Spring) so hopefully this one will work that way for you too. :)
I've considered this one many times, but something always told me no. (Thank you intuition! ) Do you think upsizing the cup or just deeper at the wire would solve the issue?
I can’t believe I’m saying this but I want a taller cup. I had to tuck myself back in for the photos.
Lol. Looks like you need a 60O maybe? Meanwhile, great to see such a nice short bra! I wonder if it would work for me in the right size.
Sovavosi Oh my! I know exactly what you mean about tucking back in! Peek a boo nips are not photo friendly!!! @cupandahalf It wouldn't hurt to try it right? I think the color would look great on you :)
This one is definitely on my re-order list along with the Ardea.
Finally got my first direct from Comexim bra! While it's been nice to finally find "pretty" patterned bras in my size I've been needing one to match my skin tone, enter the lace nude. The cups are a little tall for me, but I think that's just the way it's going to be with my short roots. The gaps aren't noticeable under clothes so it's no big deal. It is a bit taller at the strap than my 3HC Victoria and when I first put it on the straps were irritating my tail of spence to the point that I thought they didn't move them in like I ...asked, but I laid both bras over each other and the straps are in the same spot so it's just a little extra height in the cups that moved them. I wore the bra all day and once it settled I didn't notice them at all. In fact I think this is now the most comfortable bra I have.
The lace is flat and isn't noticeable under a shirt, but the seams do pop out a bit. The wires are perfect. I get the same indents in the cups just below the straps that I have in the Victoria but these are less noticeable. The band feels firmer than the Victoria but strangely stretches more, I guess it just feels firm because it's new. I should probably have gotten a 65 band since they're not running as tight as they once were.
Overall, I love it. It makes me want to blow all my money on more 3HCs but I'm exercising restraint.
Oh and if anyone was wondering about shipping times from Comexim, I ordered on 9/29 but it was late Friday night on the east coast of the US so early Saturday morning in Poland. They confirmed to me Monday morning, shipped Friday 10/6 and I received it 10/24. Read more 207 more words
It fits perfectly on my smaller side (8.5" perimeter) but my larger side (9) feels a bit unstable because the cups aren't as tall as I need for my tall breasts and I would quad if the cups weren't so open on top. I don't think there is enough immediate projection for me. I think in comexim half cups I need to size up. The gore is overlapped at the top and the band fits closer to a 26 so I'm inclined to keep this one. The uplift and rounding is excellent, and it of course looks very lovely as we're used to with comexim.
Edit: Sadly, I will sell this as I'd rather use the money to spend toward on a taller bra with more immediate projection.
My measurements are 26" UB, 33" standing, and 34" leaning.
It looks great on you. Sorry it's not a perfect fit. If you were to order directly from Comexim, I bet a 60HH would be perfect if you got cookie pockets. Then you could fit your larger breast and put a cookie (or 2) in the smaller side. And Ewa Michalak bras are awesome too. They come with cookie pockets and cookies and have great immediate projection.
My shape has my very frustrated. Semi-conical, shallow top. I will always have a gap at the top of a bra, and most bras are too tall for me. I decided to try some half cups. This bra seems to fit my needs almost perfectly. The gore is low, and for the first time I don't have the gore pressing on the tissue at the top. The wires are narrow. I could never find my roots before, but this bra doesn't press on any tissue on the side. Before trying narrow wires, I would have said that the wide wires on British bras didn't bother me, because it ...didn't hurt. Now that I have tried this on, I feel like the narrow wires actually fit better.
This bra is fairly projected, there's only a slight wrinkle on the bottom. Nowhere near as bad as any of my British bras wrinkle. It seems to stay up in my IMF. The band feels true to size, very comfortable on the loosest set of hooks. The straps seem a little wide but they don't bother me that much. They adjust more than my British bras do also. The top of the cups has a gap due to my shape, but this is completely hidden under a shirt. For this bra, it was recommended to size up one cup. Due to height issues, I decided to go my normal size. This worked out well for me. The bottom is filled out and I don't feel squeezed into it. It gives me a nice rounded shape.
I really like this bra, and now that I know what size to order in a 3HC, I will certainly be ordering more. It definitely makes it hard to go back to wearing my British bras! Read more 188 more words
Awesome! I'm thrilled for you :-) :-) Thanks for the detailed photo of the lace; I adore the pattern! This looks beautiful on you!
Wow it looks great! Love the apex projection!
I'm happy for you! It's wonderful when you finally find a good fit!
Thanks guys. I’m so relieved now that I have one that fits so well.
It almost destroyed me when I found out Comexim discontinued the Sharon (and the Coco, so I can't even try that anymore). It's literally the best fitting bra I own and I have no idea what other Comexim bra might be the same.
d_queen I got this from Zathiya but I thought I saw the Sharon still on Comexim’s website.
d_queen from what I've seen all their unlined bras can be made as unlined 3HCs. The Angel made into a half cup has the exact same measurements as the Coco for instance.
Comexim is like a drug once you get a good fit, isn't it? Even their less than perfect fits are 1000 x's more comfy than any UK bra I've owned.
Sovavosi I emailed Comexim directly when it went on sale and they will not make it in a 3HC anymore. cupandahalf I have not had luck getting their padded bras done as 3HCs when they didn't come that way, but maybe their unlined bras are different.
All I can go off of is the data on here. If you compare the Angel 3HC to the Coco it has almost the exact same measurements in the same size.
Victoria and I have come a long way together. I've tried every cut and alteration combination imaginable since my first attempt at the 3HC over a year ago! The plunge is definitely a better fit for my center fullness and apex projection in comparison to the 3HC. My boobs are appropriately celebrating their independence today. For all the details, I've written a comparison review of Victoria as a more-or-less standard 60H plunge compared with a highly customized 60HH with reduced cups. You can read the full review on my blog (including 10% off discount links). My final Victoria post will be the 2HC, which I think is an underestimated Comexim cut.
I custom ordered this 60HH plunge with "reduced cup" and "straps moved in" alterations as well as narrower underwires. This is my best fitting Comexim so far. You can read my full review on my blog, where I compare it to a minimally altered 60H.
My first Comexim that fits! So all the rumors are true - fabulously narrow center gore with overlapping wire, cups that push the girls up/forward/together - all without pads. The band is a bit tighter than a standard 32 band from Panache but not uncomfortable (my tight underbust measures 29). I normally wear 32F (although on small side) in UK sizing and the 70H in Comexim is perfect. The cup is very slightly too shallow for my FoB set, but not uncomfortable or visible. The wire imprint was about 1 cm below my imf. There was also some slight gapping at certain angles on my smaller side - but again, not very noticeable. For my next order, I think I move the straps in 2 cm (I have sloped shoulders) and possibly request a bit more depth in the cups (as a few others have mentioned on here). Otherwise, so in love!
MY SHAPE: Projected, center full, close-set, tall and narrow roots.
THE TAKEAWAY: A gorgeous bra with black lace on the cups and a cream band, done as a 3HC with stronger wires. The band is more TTS than my previous experience with this brand, and so comfortable immediately that I'm considering ordering a size down. For people in my range, I wear a 30G-32FF pretty consistently in Panache/Cleo, and a 70J right now in these bras, but am considering a 65K in the future.
THE DETAILS: This is my go-to alteration right now (3HC with stronger wires + an overlapped gore), as it really seems to suit my shape well. ...The resulting shape is round and fits great, though the black lace does mean this isn't a t-shirt bra. The Beauty is not part of Comexim's "luxury" line, and you can definitely tell, but it's still a gorgeous bra.
The fit of this bra is very similar to the fit of my other recent Comexim purchases (see my more detailed review of the 70J - Comexim » Rosettes Half Cup). https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Comfortable and supportive and beautiful, a total win IMHO. Measuring these bras is definitely on my TDL. I try to measure the band immediately so that I can get that measurement before I've stretched a bra out at all.
This is the narrowest, most projected Comexim I have ever seen. If you need that in a bra then get this one!
When I bought this about 6 months ago I had to wear it with an extender, and the wire dug into the outside of my bigger boob. Just now after measuring it I decided to bend the wires out. DUH. So, the measurements I took were with the wires as shipped, but the photos are with them bent slightly wider.
The combination of 6 months of breaking in and the wire alteration lets me wear this without an extender! I am not 100% confident that this runs small or tight in the band because it took me so long to measure it. :/ However, the 55E - Comexim » Mirage Plunge Bra (352) that I received in the same order was comfortable without an extender immediately.
I love shiny, soft fabrics and this bra delivers in that department. I use this as a nude bra and when I want to look extra projected.
It looks so beautiful on you. It's amazing how nice a well fitting bra looks. I keep reading a lot about Comexim fitting well on women among our size. I can't wait to try some my self. I wish I understood what I needed as well as you do!
MY SHAPE: Projected, center full, tall and narrow roots.
THE TAKEAWAY: Definitely inspired by other similar half-stretch-lace bras (cough 32FF - Panache » Jasmine Balconnet Bra (6951) cough 30G - Cleo » Hettie Balconnet Bra (9011) ), this Comexim bra is a soft cup with a soft unlined fabric on the bottom and a stretchy lace on top. FOT shapes, be warned: there's an elastic strip on the inside of the top lip of the stretchy lace, making it more closed on top than it would otherwise. Hard-stretches to ~33", so it's a bit stretchier than some Comexims. Fully-adjustable straps and four rows of ...three hooks.
DETAILS: I bought this in both a 70J and a 70K - Comexim » Karen, because I've had problems with Comexims not being "big enough" in their padded bras so I wanted to use this as a diagnostic. (Padded bras cover a multitude of fitting sins.) To my surprise, the 70J is actually a little bit too big... arguably.
My particular needs with Comexim, related to my center fullness, are definitely stiffer wires (and narrower gores), so on closer inspection I think that might be what I'm experiencing here, too -- the gore floats a little, and also sits partially on breast tissue, because it's too wide and the wires are too soft to hold their shape against the weight of my tissue. Ordering the 3HC Beauty with firmer wires and an overlapping gore gave me an almost perfect fit there (the gore still only soft-tacks), and it initially had very similar problems to what I'm experiencing in this size.
So, while I initially reported that I thought other customers might be able to go down a size in the Karen, it's proooobably very similarly-sized to Comexim's padded plunge and half-cups.
My biggest note of concern for other boobs fitting into the Karen is definitely the elastic strip that has been sewn to the inside of the stretch lace. It gives the cups a different aesthetic look than they'd have without, gathering the lace slightly, but will probably also cut into FOT shapes. (It's cutting into my tall roots a bit, too, but given the sizing/wires issue I'm not sure whether that would still be the case with an overlapped gore, etc.) Read more 272 more words
Thanks so much for this review. I have been wondering about Karen. I love the way it looks. Stretch lace is a nightmare for my very soft boobs, though. Sad face.
letstalkaboutbras aww! I'm sorry to be the bearer of sad news :(
At least I won't go out of my way to order it just yet. Looks beautiful!
First, I want to note that I purchased this bra from Breakout Bras, whose @Comexim come in UK sizing. Yes, the tag actually says 36JJ. Bratabase converted it automatically to an 80N.
The Ingrid fabric has been discussed plenty, so I won't go there. The bra is very well made, and the fabric is sturdy and soft.
So uh...this bra is huge, I think? I have INCHES of space in the top of the cup. It was hard to photograph the empty space without just basically taking a picture of my boobs, but hopefully y'all can get the idea from the one picture I provided. I also had ...a good amount of empty space on the outside of the cup, but it's not visible because of how I'm holding my arms.
I'm just confused. Is the bra huge, are the cups too tall, does it want someone more full on top? I'd really like to exchange it for one of Breakout Bras' other Comexim styles, which are:
Rose 3HC Sonia Padded Balcony Basic Padded Plunge Belle de Nuit Padded Half Cup Queen of Hearts Padded Plunge or, Ingrid in another size.
Advice is very appreciated! Read more 82 more words
The height of the gore and cups seems tall. Compared to my 90M, the gore is almost .5 inches taller and the cups are about the same, and they shouldn't be considering Comexim grading. Maybe this is a mistaken raised gore and cups that got mixed with a normal batch.
But the depth seems about right. About an inch smaller than mine, a sister-sized cup up from yours.
Do you fill out the bottom? Maybe try another plunge in 80M? I fit a cup smaller in my Comexims than I did unlined bras before I grew out of them.
Thats why everyone requests reduced cup height in larger sizes. Because the cup heights are stupid. at least thats what I was told.
I found mine perfect for my short roots though. Although I am full on top.
Yeah, I fill out the bottom nicely. And honestly, the bra is really comfortable!
My measurements could always also be a bit off, especially the cup depth. I find that one tricky.
Do half cups still have the same crazy cup height? If so, a half cup might be wearable in my size.
I have a half cup that's a sister-size (bigger band) to this Comexim. It's a bigger at the apex (by about half an inch) but the gore is a bit shorter and the cup height is about 9 inches, so much shorter than yours.
I found Ingrid to run the largest in the cup, and be the most open on top, of any comexim plunges I've tried. It's kind of an outlier to their usual fit.
wild_muses, that's odd because I've found it to be the smallest, both in band and cup, & most shallow of any Comexim bra I've tried.
see, this is why I dont want to buy them. Its totally custom in my size and they are totally inconsistent. I mean, ewa is frequently inconsistent in bands, but not everything else
Actually, dbmamaz if you buy from Breakout Bras you can get one with free returns and shipping and they stock your size. They have my old size, 90M (UK 40J), and sister sizes down. I agree that buying from them directly can be sort of daunting though. I'm still working up the guts to try to get another one to replace the ones I grew out of.
I'm not even sure I want to buy ANY more polish bras except the SF. My Jasmine fits so much better. Jasmine's wires dont shift down and hurt me. Its the only one. Its the only one with enough projection.
I feel your frustration. I only have one Curvy Kate and it digs in at thearmputs so it's a constant battle.
I hear you both. Panache Envy is basically my only reliable bra for all of my fit issues. It's not perfect either, the wires are kinda stabby, but I pad them over with moleskin. Jasmine is a little pointy on me.
Envy dug in below my boobs - it didnt have enough projection or immediate, not sure. And it was the only bra where, when I outgrew my 32Js, instead of quadding, it stopped tacking. Not sure why. But it didnt work. tho someone (bad w names, i'd recognize you if I saw you, i think you wear 30JJ lol) said only the black was problematic, but . . eh. I'll stick w jasmine.
I don't mean to question you, Roxanne, but isn't that a Plunge cut?
Beautiful! I've been eyeing this one for a while now.
cupandahalf I wondered the same thing but I bought it from www.breakoutbras.com and she is advertising it as a half cup. I may need to confirm with her.
Based on the cup construction I'd say it's plunge too - grrrrr...retailers really need to be careful with wording! Nevertheless it still fits great...maybe I just found the proper size in the plunge finally.
I love this aesthetic!! Gorgeous on you!!
Definitely a plunge!
fabulouslyfullfigure on the website it shows the half cup!
xuenylom What confused me further is I thought the plunge was a Braobsessed exclusive so that also made me think half cup. We shall see what they say by email.
One thing that could have happened is that Comexim accidentally mixed a Plunge intended for Bra Obsessed into a Breakout Bras order and BB didn't notice the style change when they shipped it to you. It happens to even the best producers/distributors.
Jj Sorry, I created this bra as a half cup but the retailer has confirmed it's a plunge cut...do you want me to move it over or leave it and you correct? The reason I ask is this is not a Bra Obsessed exclusive and the plunge version says it is . I got this at Breakout Bras. Thanks!
Not sure my other comment tagged so trying again - Jj
fabulouslyfullfigure did Breakout Bras apologise? I mean, it looks great, but I'd be so annoyed if I got the wrong bra
And change the model to the plunge version. That will cause the least disruption. If I was to combine models on this case, it would bring some trouble in the future when someone does have a half cup to add.
This bra finally came today after a long wait and to be blunt, it fell very short of my expectations. Its a nice looking bra, and I can fit all of my breast tissue into the cups (kinda). Aside from that, I don't have many positive things to say about it.
The band is very small, and the cups have little immediate projection and are weirdly shaped. They're pretty flat by the gore, with a ton of extra space by the armpit. It's the same size and has the same alterations as the Graffiti I ordered about 3 weeks before this, and the fit is wildly different.
Beautiful, but I completely understand what you mean about the different cut. Yikes.
I definitely see what you mean. I am so glad that you all rewiewed your current orders with problems so I could stick to returnable standard cut for my recent order. Also I wanted to order later but I decided to stay in time for Paypals return cost covering, just in case. I'm somewhat nervous what I'll get...
Wow, that looks exactly the same like the issue I had with my Comexim Mystic (without alterations). This was such a well-fitting bra, but completely useless after they (silently) made these silly alterations. http://www.bratabase.com/adventures/entry/14080/
bracrastination I read that post when you wrote it but totally forgot about it. It definitely seems similar to what I have going on. The weirdest part about it to me is that my last bra order from them was placed just 3 weeks earlier and that one had no issues.
Leilani Unfortunately at my size, everything is "custom" so its not returnable even if I don't alter it.
Ah fit issues that make the bra just not quite right. Sorry for the not fitting. So frustrating especially since you cannot return it.
Ooh, watch the Omega inducing torture device! Comexim is a bit of a gamble, especially with the language barrier. I often end up altering my custom altered orders.
I'm sorry to hear that you do not even have the option to go for pure standards. My fingers are crossed that your next order won't have any bad surprises. Please give this feedback also to comexim, even if you cannot return they should know what they send out to costumers at the moment.
kermitdafrog21 Since the bra I ordered was a different cut, maybe they're not altering all their cuts at once, but gradually.
I also second Leilani's idea of letting them know that there's something wrong with their bras - in my case they didn't react to it, but the more users complain, the larger the chances that they will listen.
2. I ordered Queen of Hearts in 65P with reduced cups, straps moved in 3cm, gore reduced to 6cm, narrowed, and overlapping; 3x4 hooks, and cookie pockets. Appearance: I really like the look of this bra. It's simple enough to wear every day, but it could also be used as a special occasion bra. This bra also has the same silky smooth material instead of the cotton, but the inside and the outside of the cup are soft. The contrast btwn the gore and the wings is a nice touch and I would love the bows if they were centred correctly. If you're like me you have just a ...touch of OCD this will drive you insane and takes away from the look of the bra. Other than that I do love the look of this bra. Fit: same issue of almost a perfect fit. The band is great on the first set of hooks, gore is flat, and the cup height is perfect. The only issue is slight quads near the gore about 4mm worth. Out of the 3 this quads the most it isn't a big deal for me I can go up a size but the low gore with my center fullness will mostly always do this. If I go up a size there will be more gapping at the straps so I can choose to be bothered with this or keep the perfectly fitting cups.
Panties: I got the matching set in a L figi like the picture I will start ordering XL for my 44" hips because I gained 2" as well as asking for higher waisted bottoms. They are beautiful though. Read more 166 more words

This bra's measurements have been altered
Altered straps,
Reduced, overlapping, and narrowed gore; straps moved in 3cm, cups reduced, 3x4 hooks, cookie pockets.
I got my bras yesterday! After a quick try on 3 out of 4 fit!
All of them seem to have overlapping gores. I did not request this but it does work for me. Does anyone know if they commonly do this for 55 bands? I don't want my measurements to screw up the database.
Did you order directly? I've been getting overlapping gores a lot too, even on the one I custom-ordered through BraObsessed where I didn't ask for it (but I was requesting ALMOST exactly what another user had ordered and THEY wanted overlapping gores and I did link to their post so I think it might've been a mixup).
rainbrasspetals I ordered directly through Comexim. Interesting how these things happen!
I wear 70H and most if not all the bras I've ordered come with an overlapping gore. I think they may be doing it standard now.
I wear 70H and most if not all the bras I've ordered come with an overlapping gore. I think they may be doing it standard now.
yup, standard on all of mine recently
This is super interesting! At first it struck me as odd because I have been reading alot of other profiles of women in similar sizing, and we "all" seem to think that we are very wide set, which would mean a Gore that overlaps would not be good. It seems Comexim has become a brand for women whom are more close set. I have always thought I was wide set...but since finding BtB and studying my breasts more..I've started to think that maybe I'm not as wide set as I previously thought.
Kind of shallow. Though i didn't do much research before, just bought a cheap one. I probably just need more cup depth too.
The wires are an odd fit for me. It does of course not want to sit in my IMF. Then the gore is very narrow up top, more than I need, but then widens out quickly which causes problems.
The cups are tall and irritating.
The seamed cups are disappointing. The cups dip in too much at the seam, between the pads. This leaves my boobs looking lumpy and sad in some shirts. I would rather wear an illfitting Deco than deal with the seams.
So yeah, a disappointing experience. Comexim and Ewa are just generally out of my price range, when most of my favorite bras have come almost new or lightly used for like $20. So I don't know if I will try much more in the future anyway.
Don't let this bra stop you from getting Comexim. This bra just so happened to be shallow (some of their plunges are). Idk if $35 is more than you want to pay, but you can ask for the tropical garden, ginger, otylia, Elena or pantera as a 3HC for around that much.
The only Comexims that give me enough immediate projection are the 3hc with two vertical seams. Everything else it too shallow.
So much to learn - definitely will try again. $35 or so really isn't bad, I will give in one day. I thought the Wellfitting Cats bra was going to turn me, but I for sure can't pay that much right now, haha!
Othe bands have swallow models as well. Thanks annabellynn for the review. :-) Having read that I am not so disappointed any more that Comexim is out of my price range, too.
I just measured it to have a bit smaller cup depth than I originally thought, so thats probably an issue too. I'm just not showing much quad because of the tall cups. Sizing up in this model probably wouldn't be super helpful, the cups would be even taller! So not sure if it runs smaller or if this just isn't my ideal size, but interesting :)
Wow I'm pretty close to ABTF!! The cups are a little too tall and I know I need crossed wires as an alteration for the future! I love the colours on it, I had a primark bra with a similar colourway when I was trying to DIY 26/24 bands! I'm sooo happy about this! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":D" />
I got this bra a couple months ago, but haven't gotten around to reviewing despite really liking the bra. I don't know why, but I really like fancy neutral color bras whether it's something that could function as a "nude" or black and tan and I'm not sure why. Regardless, I really like the light brown with the beige on the Quail. I got this with my standard alterations 2cm reduced cup, 2cm reduced gore, and straps moved in 2cm. It ended up also having an overlapping gore, which doesn't see to be a bad alteration for me either, I can do without it, but I think I get a bit more cleavage from it, maybe. Quail also normally comes as a deep plunge, but I requested it as a standard plunge, since Ginger did not work well for me at all.
I've been trying to avoid buying this set for the longest, but thanks to you I think I need it. 😭
It's really cute, on you btw.
I have to second this comment ^
Can I ask how Comexim's thongs fare compared to, I guess, typical thongs? I've really only ever tried one from Hanky Panky, and it's so uncomfortable. :(
Comexim's thongs are usually pretty comfortable, and sizing seems consistent on the panties even between thongs and briefs.
amandafire thanks. I just ordered this bra as a 3hc and as the deep plunge. 😣 I absolutely LOVE the way this bra looks on you. So now I have to have it. I also ordered the panties. Did you request the lace on the panties or it just came that way? I see they're not listed on Comexim's site.
Gorgeous! When a Comexim with both a narrowed and overlapping gore arrives via mail, I will likely have my first fitting Comexim. And, Quail beckons me. Thank you for sharing her with us :-)
Love4Pollinators back on the wired wagon, huh? ;)
amandafire i didn't want this bra until I saw it on you. It is beautiful and does indeed look like downy quail feathers.
cupandahalf Just one wired bra would be lovely. Just one....is that too much to ask? Yep. ;-) ;-)
Prettyncharmeuse the panties just came that way, I didn't really know what to expect, since they weren't on the website at all. I really like the panties though and they are very comfortable.
How funny! I have never noticed that the cut of my Small Quail is different to that of my other Comexim plunges! It does fit me slightly differently I suppose, but thankfully it's still a good fit.
I just got this and the 3HC version, and I definitely should have asked for it as the regular plunge. I'm so glad you posted this review.
Finally I've finished my review of beautiful Comexim Samoa (452) swimwear. Cups of the bra are shallow and they don't have much immediate projection. However it's not a problem for me. Underwires are narrow, definitely narrower than in 3HC and little wider than in plunge. It's beautiful and it gives my boobs really great support. However it has a problem with discolouration. The dark blue fabric discolours so the white inner parts of the bra and bottoms are lightly blue now although they were white. Full review on my blog.
It looks so nice and elegant. It looks pretty supportive too because of the 3 seams and wider straps -- how does the support compare to Comexim padded bras?
