  1. Tiffany Plunge Bra (409)

This is a beautiful, vibrant color in person, but it runs tight! The band is small, as is the cup. Overall, I think I will be able to make this one fit, but I will likely wear with an extender at least the first few wears. The construction is similar to Comexim Georgia (292) , with its plush, soft cups, and velvet top lining.

The fabric is very bright, much more in person, but not neon. The birdcage print is super cute, and unexpected in a bra. The shape, because of the very tight band, is great, extremely round and upright.

I adore the birdcage print! So cute!

    • 1

I agree! The print is unexpected, but super cute. From a distance, it almost looks like owls which I would love (I have owls all over my kitchen), hint to Comexim! ;D

    • Can you tell me the color of its band and hook? I really want this for a longline if the backband's color is black. Btw the print is so pretty!!

    • 1

Twoflower , the band and hook and eyes are all black. I think this would be gorgeous as a longline!

ginganinja How is the immediate projection compared to Geisha? Thanks :-)

    70E

    Fits

My stats: underbust 27" tight, 29" loose, regular size UK 30E.

I ordered the Salma Bikini Top in two sizes: 70E and 70F.

    Band size:
I intentionally sister sized up in the band, because I don't want a bikini top to fit as tight as my regular bras.
Turns out this was a good choice - the band is nice and firm, stretching to only 30.5" in size 70. The fabric has less stretch to it than a bra, which is also common in bikinis and should be considered when choosing a band size.

    Cup size:
Eyeballing the fit of the cups, 70E had slight quadboob, and 70F had no quad, no gaping when ... standing straight, but maybe a smidge more cup height than necessary.

I decided too keep the 70E because again, this is a bikini top, and slight quadboob is waaaay less of an issue than gaping cups when you move or swim.

    Verdict:
I'm really happy with the bikini top. It's well-made, fits me well, looks cute and dries fast.

    A note on the panties:
These are a huge downside of this set. I ordered two sizes of them as well (the one the size chart would put me in, and a size up). The smaller size was so *ridiculously* small I didn't even try it on. Seems like Comexim isn't aware that bikini fabric just won't stretch as much as regular fabric does or something. There is no way a person with the given measurements could fit into this.
The larger size fit okay at the waist, but had elastics cutting into my thighs which was both really, really uncomfortable and looked odd. I returned both of them and decided to wear a plain black bikini bottom instead.

    tl;dr, my recommendation:
    - size up in the band and stick with your regular cup size (don't size up in the cups like you regularly would with Comexim halfcups)
    - size up 1-2 sizes in the panties in case you want to order some, and be prepared that the fit might be really odd.

As adorable as this bra is, I'm listing it - so pay attention all you Comexim fans in my size range. It's not quite right on me, but I'd like to emphasize that I think it would work for many. It's not the bra, it's me. The band is TTS, the quality is excellent, it's narrow, it's not shallow - I'm just pendulous. This bra also needs roots that are slightly taller than my own shorty-short roots.

I HAVE FOUND MY HOLY GRAIL OF BRAS. I ripped this out of the package and immediately tried it on when I got home. At first I thought it would be wayyy too small/shallow, but I must be used to the depths on bras with much wider cups. This bra fits perfectly and is super comfortable! I haven't taken it off yet! All the general boxes are ticked: gore tacks (without stabbing), band is tight but not suffocating (and is comfy right now on the loosest set), straps are close enough together that they don't jump off my shoulders all the time, the cups ... are NARROW (honestly the narrowest I've experienced in this size range) and don't rub on my armpits. Besides all that, it ticks off all the secondary sort of things that I like in a bra. The material is soft, non-irritating, and light, and I get really awesome uplift without the bra cutting in or having any extra space.

I can't believe I got this lucky https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_surprised.gif" alt=":O" /> I think I have my Comexim size pinned down, even without any alterations! I will probably go and order this same bra in black and some others now that I have my size!!! So incredibly happy with this bra https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

EDIT: In my excitement I didn't realise that there actually ARE 3 hooks, not two :X

    • That looks awesome on you! I'm glad you got your Comexim sizing figured out right away. How long did it take you to receive your package (I'm waiting on one now)?

    • 1

This looks great in you!!! And Basic tends to be taller than their newer cuts so you should be fine without alterations. Congrats!! (PS, finally someone besides myself that doesn't need alterations on Comexims lol)

    • *on you!

    • Thanks lcl0706 ! It's odd, I *always* have trouble with bras rubbing my armpits and so naturally assumed that shortening the cups was for me! Comexim is magic or something.

    • Thanks! I actually ordered it from another user on here (thanks to amandafire for the fast shipping!) so I don't have info on how long an actual shipment from Comxim is taking "/

    • Glad it worked out for you.

  5. Sharon Half Cup (366)

Oh yes! thats my soft bra no1! I used to love Cleos with the round shape but Sharon (with 2 vertical seams as custom order) makes nicely round but natural not like balls. The lace from the front is quite hard, although inside nice and comfy. Straps fully adjustable, wide and soft. Bands true to size. Really nice and sexy! I will think with next order to get panties !

    • does it have immediate projection?

    • I know it's so bad but I don't know !:) can you explain when is immediate projection?

    • the bottom of a cup in a shallow bra is sort of flat and the bottom of a cup in a projected bra juts out real deep. i hope that makes sense, maybe wendybien can explain it better then me, haha :)

    • No I was trying to understand but I just can't imagine it :)!
It looks on me very similar as there http://bra.pe/XPRc/

    • 1

Hey, those are my boobs LOL! Judging from what I know about Comexim & especially their unlined bras, it's immediately projected. And if it fits you like the Coco fit me, then yes it's got immediate projection. I should take pics comparing the side profile of a shallow bra vs an immediately projected bra. I still have one crappy shallow VS bra in the wrong size in my drawer. I guess just to remind me how awful a badly fitting bra is.

    • Right lcl0706 again referring to your reviews! :D

    • Pretty sure Sharon & Coco are almost identical!

    • in my case they are, but I wonder if the 1 vertical seam would work for me as well. If there would be any different model in soft half cup I would definitely try.

    • do you have pictures wearing these with tight clothes on?

    • I will do it tomorrow

    • newhere ive just added the pic :)

    • martka00 thank you. it looks nice with clothes. do you say it has a "minimizer" look?

    • newhere I wouldn't say it has minimiser look, its just non padded bra that enhances your natural size :) but obviously it doesn't make that WOW as padded bras.

So I have another heartbreaker on my hands! I really wish this bra worked for me, because I've been wanting this design for forever! Like every bra in my most recent Comexim order, this one is slightly small in the cups. Unfortunately, because of the design of the longline, this bra goes full nipple hat on me. The gore is too wide and doesn't tack. The wires of the bra float, both because the cups are a bit too shallow and the gore is too wide. So this one is going to be listed. The band of this runs a bit large, coming in at 27 inches stretched. It's cut pretty straight up and down and has three columns of hook and eye clasps. I believe this bra had the straps moved in and the cup height reduced, but I'm not certain. Anyways, my boobs have gotten weirder and now Comexim is a more difficult fit for me.

It looks nice, I was wondering if they would take the lace down all the way. I think I'd like it more if they had, at least in the center anyway.
Too bad it doesn't fit well.

    • Yeah I thought it would have the lace extended as well. The design is still nice, but it's not quite as nice as I pictured in my head. I don't know what my issue is with Comexim these days. It seems like everything fits weirdly.

    • 2

I bet you're right. I bet it's because it's a long line. I think if it were the regular bra it'd fit you better.

I wonder why they made the gore so much wider on this than they did the Mystic? If they had done it to both I would think it was to aid stability, but it's just the one.

    • 2

I'm surprised this is so shallow on you. I think it's definitely because of that long band. And I agree it would have been prettier if the lace had extended down. The way it is with that plain nude bra, it really does look like a regular bra that has a big fat band. Unfortunate, because Poison Ivy (I refuse to spell it wrong LOL) is a stunning bra on its own.

    • The beige seems to have a pinkish undertone on these pics - does it in reality? I can't say I have any experience with longlines, but I think I like this bra better in the regular version.

    • erispe my poison ivy is totally a neutral beige.

    • lcl0706 Mine is neutral, too (the one that used to be yours :)) - that's why I'm asking.

    • Mine is fairly pinkish, but stull definitely beige and not peach. It's a really pretty color

    • I'm guessing they used a material of a slightly different hue. I actually like the pinkish one.

    • I think a part of the problem with the gore is that there is no gore really. Just underwires on a longline. I think they might want to add a reinforced section in between the cups. The cups on Mystic are larger overall and the wires are closer together in the middle and they did sit flat against my skin. That band was a lot tighter though (24.5 inches vs. 27 inches). lcl0706 unfortunately, Geisha in 55HH is the same sort of slightly small shallow on me. The longline structure just exacerbates the issues in the cups.

    • 1

Isn't Geisha one of the ones that runs smaller in general though? Like the Basic.

    • Does it? I know it runs smaller in the band. I had both in 55J and the basic mostly worked but Geisha was too big.

    • 2

I think so, I've read it here and there anyway. About the Basic too, but my 60H was a fairly standard 28F, I felt. So, who knows.

    • Thats wonderful :) im so sorry it didnt fit

    • bonjourhi Comexim's long lines are actually quite long in comparison to other's I've tried. And they will allow you to customize them (such as choosing a length and the degree of taper). Comexim's plunges are fairly full coverage in construction, especially on me as I'm short-rooted and relatively high set.

FoxTaylor Thank you! I'm sad too!

    • 1

So are all the Comexim you own fitting weirdly or is it just the recent 3???? I wonder if they've changed the design slightly but didn't say anything. Especially since your other longline fit fine but this one has issues.

    • 1

pumkinswife of the most recent batch Yoko fits fine and the other two feel shallow and a bit small on me. Actually all three feel a bit small. All of the other reviews of regular Pioson Ivy mention it soft tacking at the gore, so it could be an overall design thing. It's always possible that they did change things though! My other longline is a different cut from this one. It's their plunge cut that has half stretch lace.

  7. Jacqueline Plunge Bra (167)

    65H

    Fits

This bra has customizations: reduced gore, reduced cups, and three row of eyes.

Also, it looks different than all the others because I took a seam ripper to it. The lace trim along the top of the cups and the gore bow was really awful. It didn't look that nice on the bra and in my opinion cheapened the whole look. In Comexim's images of this bra, the trim is a little more solid and ribbony. They should have stuck with that.
Anyway, I rid this bra of it and replaced it with red bows at the gore and where the straps join the cup. A bigger one I had ... removed from an Ewa Michalak bra a few months ago and smaller ones at the straps that I had in my sewing kit. I think it's nicer now.

So, I was curious to try a Comexim with reduced cups. Sometimes I bubble over my 65G/60H but not enough to go up to a 65H. I figured a 65H with reduced cups may be workable though. Something like a 65G.5 instead of a full cup up.
Aside from that, the bra also has my name. Spelling is different, but it's close enough. So, I kind of needed it.

Anyway, the band is really soft and really comfortable. It has a nice gentle stretch to it and I feel secure and well supported on the loosest hook. I could go to the middle, but the end is fine so there I'll stay. I think I like the thicker band and the addition of the extra row. I may order that for myself in the future.
The gore tacks and the wires are comfortable. Right around 5", give or take a cm, and that's where I like them. They come up a bit high under the arm. I don't experience any chafing, but I feel it and wish they were lower.
The straps are soft and smooth. The adjusters stay in place well. They're not super stretchy, but they are long. I have the adjusters sitting on my traps now and I'll have to shorten the straps at some point. They are not too wide set for me. This is where my broad shoulders are a bonus for me. The high sides would be unbearable if the straps were also too wide, but that's not the case thankfully.
The cups fit pretty well. I fill most of it up nicely, but there is some empty space at the top where the strap joins the cup. This is also the case with my 65G - Comexim » Irish Coffee Biustonosz (335). The bra fits well everywhere else and the empty space isn't very evident, with or without a top.

Overall, Jacqueline is a comfortable and appealing bra. I'm happy that I got to try a customized Comexim and got to experiment with a cup up. In the future, I think I prefer the slight smallness of my unaltered 65G/60Hs but I may go for that third row of eyes.

    • Oh it looks so much better now! I love your alterations!

    • hi. im currently trying to find my comexim size. just to compare, what is your underbust measurement? and your overbust standing with bra? overbust leaning without bra?

    • Hey, my five measurements per ABTF are

      Tight UB: 26.5
      Snug UB: 28.5
      Standing: 33.5
      Leaning: 37
      Lying: 35

The calculator gives me a UK size of 28E/F and I wear a 65G or 60H in Comexim, 65F in soft Ewa Michalak, 65E in padded Ewa Michalak. Standing overbust with a bra on isn't a great measurement, but mine is generally around 35, give or take, depending on the bra.

    • 1

Thanks, PetiteCollegiate I have no idea why they went that way they did with the trim, but I like my version more.

    • newhere Those Comexim sizes are for the plunges. I haven't tried any of their half cups because they'd be too wide for me.
Also, don't use their calculator. It gave me some ridiculous size like 75B or something when I tried it.

    • what do you mean by "too wide"? because i was thinking of getting a half cup.

    • The wire width. From tip to tip would be around 5.5" in my size. I need a width of about 5". Otherwise the wires sit on my ribs, do not properly encase my breast tissue, and cause pain.

    • i just measured my bra. it is about 5.5 -6.25 wire width. and this cup is too small for me. so you'd say i need a bra with a bigger wire width right?

    • Possibly.
It could also be too wide making the cup feel smaller than what it is. A shape incompatibility.

If I were you, I would do a fit check. Do a couple in some different bras. Post your measurements, the bras measurements, and some photos.
There are some people here that are really really good at helping with finding your shape and guiding next steps.

    • 1

This bra looks much better with your alterations! Glad it worked out well enough to keep.

    • learningaboutbras thanks! It's a little different. Not so round and globe like like my other Comexims. But the shape is still lifted and I actually like that I get the forwardness and the lift without so much cleavage. It'll be a good bra for v-necks in more modest company I think.

    Fits

Yay, my first Comexim and it fits!!!

Where my other bras-that-fit are either cute or okay looking, this is the first bra I've bought because I loved the look. And let me tell you, it doesn't dissapoint in real life! I just love the vintagy color and feel of the floral print.

Shape wise there is some gravity defying sh*t going on right here. This bra provides TONS of lift, and almost manages to give me cleavage, which is impressive with my super wide set boobs. My husband says it's the perkiest he's ever seen the girls.

The 75 band is tighter than any UK 32s I own, and ... I'll probably wear it with an extender for a while. The HH cup is just right for me, so I guess this 75HH is comparable to a UK 32FF or G. I ordered a 70HH as well, but that one is way to tight in both the band and cups, so I'll list it.

I actually find this bra less centering than my Cleos, which is surprising given Comexim's reputation, but it certainly beats my Cleos in the lift departement.

I have 2 minor issues still.
1: the top of the cups is just a tad closed for me.
    2. the padding right above the horizontal seam is a bit thicker than the seam itself, which gives a slight quad boob illusion under tight tops. I'm going to try to flatten the padding a bit to make this less noticable.

However, I love the bra too much to return it over these issues!

That looks really great on you! I love Ingrid, I hope they keep making it because I want to have one always.

About your issue #2. Mine is the same way, ALL of my Comexims are like that. I don't really let it bother me much, but if you're able to flatten it a bit please follow-up on how!

    • Will do! I'll make an alteration update if I manage to fix it. I'm going gently steam press it I think...

    • 2

This looks fabulous on you. And definitely confirms you are narrow rooted and projected. Ingrid is a unique bra indeed. Congrats!

    • 1

      Such a pretty bra!
Issue #2 that you listed is actually one of the reasons I'm selling my Comexim. It makes it look like I'm half hanging out of the bra. Argh. I wish they'd fix that!

    • lcl0706 you are so right! When I started this bra quest I thought I was shallow & wide rooted, turns out I was completely wrong there ;-).

@_veritas I am pretty sure this issue should be fixable, will let you know if I get it dobe.

@bonjourhi they have a little american flag on their site, upper right corner. Click it and the english version of the site appears! This modrl is supposed to be a plunge, but I agree the cups are too tall to really get that cleavage going, for me and my short boobs at least, I've seen others get spectacular cleavage in Comexim plunges. I guess it depends on your shape.

    • 1

Charlotteke I did the exact same thing and it took me a while and some wonderful assistance from this community to get it figured out. Yay for being able to wear Comexim - they're the best I've found yet for our shape :)

    • lcl0706 It's not yet perfect, but very close. I may want to address the closed on top issue in the future, perhaps there is an alteration that fixes that, but I'm not sure yet which one.

I also have 2 Ewa plunges on the way as well, very interested to see how those work out.

Ginger looks really nice on your skin, but your poor girls look trapped!

I also 100% agree with your assessment. My mom ordered this in a 70G and I tried it on just for funsies. It fit (smashingly, haha) and I'm closer to 60/65. I was so squished up I had chin cleavage.

    • 2

Lol yeah trapped is an adequate description. It's funny because it's not only shallower, it's also just definitely smaller. If it wasn't so beautiful I'd list it, but I'm in love with the design (and the practicality).

    • 2

I'd bet you they'd make you one using the pattern from their other plunges if you ask.

    • Nope, you need to sell it to me...

I'm just kidding, it looks so good for being too small! It must run bigger.

    • That looks amazing! *_*

    • I love the Luna print. I remember when it was on the Comexim site and I was unsure of my size and procrastinated too long. I should check out Posh.

    • I love this colorway, omg.

    • kerniss OK you talked me into it! That print is entirely too (errr..) out of this world! Just got off the phone with Posh Lingerie and I may have scored the last "30G" Luna on the planet. Of course I'll have to use an extender on the very last hook, but think of those astronauts trapped in a tiny little pod, did THEY worry about petty details? :)

    • I wish there was one left in anything that could possibly fit me! Maybe they'll come up with something like it soon? Fingers crossed! :)

    • I thought this would help some people because it's sort of a weird/rare print and bra in itself! My partner thought it looked like an abstract moon, which is somewhat accurate, but I love this baby! Thank y'all - it OBVIOUSLY ain't a perfect fit but I like it all the same. And great job jennyanni ! :D Yeah, I don't think the astronauts were worried much about their undies LOL.

    • So, is the option for you not just going up to Comexim's next size? You might get gaping on your smaller breast but this seems like it would be a very good fit a size up.

    • 1

Hey teremaailma ! I genuinely have no idea. I suspect now that Comexim had not actually altered the white basic in 60HH but that they DID alter the bras I received in my last order, which is why everything's so dang small. As of right now, I am wondering if I would do better with no cup reduction and just going with the straps moved in, but it's hard to say. Granted, if I did want cups reduced, then I would try a 60J. My unruly boobs are doing some strange things and I don't know what to make of them right now LOL.

kerniss , thanks for your detailed reviews. Comexim has great potential, and reviews like these 3 together help shed light on the sizing.

      Rock on, (semi) boob twin!

    • 1

I figured they might be helpful or even entertaining to some, so thank you so much acee ! : ) And don't worry, I still got three more Comexims to review, so there will be even more to look at LOL!
      Rock on, fellow boob-wielding warrior!

    • kerniss Did you ask for a specific measurement to move the straps in? If not, about how much would you say they were moved?

    • Cymbidium I didn't ask for anything specific! Last time I asked for them to be moved 4cm and it was a disaster, so I figured I'd let them do what they would normally do again. This was kinder to my poor armpits.
Having never had one without this alteration done, I can't truly say. :( Even the second-hand ones I've bought have had this done.

    • kerniss Thanks! I was thinking of ordering one with the straps moved in, so this helps.

    • Cymbidium definitely! If you get straps rubbing all in your armpits, I would definitely get them moved in.

    • I'd be interested in any of the altered ones that didn't work for you, I've been wanting to try the same alterations.

    • Look at how far that is away from your armpits! *u* ~Magical~

The black basic is the SMALLEST, TIGHTEST Comexim you'll ever find. According to the helpful ladies at Wellfitting, the basic bra fits tightest of all Comexim models, and the black basic bra fits tighter than the taupe shades. On top of that, I converted wrong and ordered a cup size too small. For reference, I wear 34FF in Cleo and 32G in Freya. The 75HH Comexims I have fit me much better. If I were to reorder, I'd get the 75J because of the tightness in the black colorway. Despite my sizing woes, this is the correct shape for me (narrow roots, full on top).

  15. Irish Coffee Plunge Bra (335)

I received this in a swap from the lovely kerniss and I loooooove this bra. It has reduced cups, a lowered gore, a 3x3 band fastener, and the straps moved in - 2cm I think.

Aesthetically this is a gorgeous, classy bra. I find the choice of black lining in the cups a little odd, since the rest of the bra is chocolate brown and ivory, but oh well. Nobody sees the inside of the cups except me.

This bra very-nearly-*perfectly* fits my bigger side. Righty is my problem child and there is a bit of empty space at the top of the cup. ... The band is nice and tight, it's actually about 0.25" too tight for comfort so I added one column of hooks from an extender until it breaks in. I'd rather my bands be too tight than too loose, so that's not a problem for me.

Overall, I'm hooked on Comexim. I can't imagine trying any other padded bra anymore. And this bra has answered a few more of my size and alteration questions. I heard Irish Coffee runs a bit small and closed off on top. Considering the vast difference in fit between this and the 60K Juliette I previously tried, I'd hazard a guess that's probably accurate, and that the Juliette runs big. I am leaning towards 60J being my size in Comexims that are a little more open on top - like that too-small Poison Ivy I tried, I think it'd be okay in a 60J. I'm still on the fence about needing reduced cups as a rule going forward, but this bra would be too big without them. I definitely love the straps being moved in and the 3-hook fastener. Don't love the lowered gore, I need my "plunges" more like balconettes and a slightly higher gore would help with my inner fullness.

I do notice this bra has a very high apex and a very round shape to the cups, and I am not quite so round naturally. I lack the upper fullness that I think this bra is really asking for. But the empty space in the cups is not nearly enough to warrant sizing down in this particular style. Like I mentioned before, if Irish Coffee runs small/more closed off, then I think 60J will be my target in more open styles.

    • 1

That's a huge improvement! Definitely on the right track :D

    • 1

This one was mine originally, I believe. It was ordered through A Sophisticated Pair. The requested alterations are the lowered gore, reduced cups, and straps moved in.
I am typically a 60L, but I have several 60K that fit. The IC seems to be closed off at the top of the cup, as does any of the newer styles with that ribbon boarder. Really I am just glad it found a home! I got lucky and found one here too. It's a gorgeous bra!

I was able to order this swimsuit well before it was ever even shown on the Comexim site as my Polish bra fitter (yes, lucky me!), Jaimie of Braconfidence.ca here in Canada had shown me a sample suit back in March and Anna at Comexim was able to make it for her (for me!). This suit was ordered in 30G. Comexim sold in Canada has only UK sizing and this translates to 65HH. 30G / 65HH seems to be my Comexim swimwear size, while 70H in some and 70HH in other styles seems to fit me well in their regular bras. This is ... a half cup style top. The overall look of the suit is great. The deep scooped neck line is attractive and I like the center gore detail with the little loop decoration with metal ends on it. Like my other Comexim swimsuit, the Jamaica, I feel like it looks like a swimsuit, and not like a bra which I feel that some other brands do. I ordered size mediums for the bottoms. I find Comexim underwear run small with a small fitting like an xs and a medium fitting like a small. These ones however, I feel might run closer to an actual medium. They are hip hugger height and measure 15.25" side to side across the band, and 9" from the top of the waist band to the bottom of the crotch, laid flat. I only tried the suit on for a minute though, and there was no sagging, bagging or anything nasty going on so it seems OK although an aggressive wave at the beach might remove them. My own plain black bottoms would also look absolutely fine with this top. From my limited experience with Comexim half-cups (I own Joy hc in 70H and now this suit), they fit well, but they are very low cut across the tops of the cups and I have to be careful of headlight shows. The cause is that my aereolas are on the larger side, so this isn't a problem that everyone would have, but something that I have to keep an eye on, before anyone else does.

      That bathing suit looks gorgeous.

    • Thanks so much for reviewing this! I've been eyeing it on the website. I totally agree that I want a swimsuit that looks like a swimsuit, not a bra.
So it's plain black in the back?

    • Quixii it isnt all black, but mostly. The colorful fabric continues on the top edge of the band only and between the two straps only. If that makes any sense at all ;)

I really do love this bikini and its a shame it isnt as AMAZING as that Joy HC is on you CurvyCandy ! If only the cut was just like that bra!

    • 1

Quixii, I have added a picture of the full top so that you can see the back as well. Hope this helps.

    • Thanks! It does.
Gah, I'm so torn between this one and the Pin Up Girl!

First off, this is a gorgeous bra. The red is such a deep and rich color, and it goes perfectly with the true black. I adore the bows, which aren't the pouty little bows you usually see on lingerie but that very classic rectangle shape I'm more used to seeing on hats or shoes. I feel like a movie star in this bra, like I should be wearing long silk gloves and carrying around a cigarette holder the length of my forearm.

The material is sturdy and comfortable, as I have come to expect of Comexim. The band is comfortably snug. The cups are fairly thick and luxurious. The ... cups are nicely projected and spacious, with lots of room up top, which is, I think, why I fit into it well despite fitting best in 65Js these days.

The gore does what all gores do on me and sort of bends itself into a V-shape, but it's completely comfortable and tacks so I don't mind at all.

Lovely bra, I highly recommend. If you're in between sizes or suspect you're steadily growing this might be a good bra as the shape is very accommodating; the lack of any sort of ribbon or border at the top of the cup lets it curve to suit your breast.

  18. Ginger Plunge Bra (365)

I'm very happy with this bra. I custom ordered this in 55HH with 3 hooks and slightly reduced cups (Anna said it can only be reduced somewhat). The fit is pretty much perfect. I am quadboobing slightly I think, but it doesn't really cut in and looks acceptable under shirts. I went with 55HH and reduced cups instead of normal 55H because I didn't want to risk the wires being to narrow like before when I tried 55H - Comexim » Scarlet Biustonosz (291) . But I think I could have gotten away without the reduction in cup height since my ... roots are tall and its slightly small.
The band is a true 26 band and fits me perfectly. It is not too tight, nor too loose. It is very thick, so it really hides my back fat around the armpit area and the slightly wider wires help encompass that tissue. The wires are very very flexible, so they are not that supportive (so if you have heavy breasts then this bra would not suit you in this size)- but surprisingly they do not warp on me because the band is perfect.
The gore on this bra is somehow taller than the same bras of this style with larger cups? I have looked at other measurements for this in bras available but they have lower gores than mine. I guess I'm a little disappointed https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" /> I was hoping for something like 1.5 inches tall so I could get better cleavage, but a 2 inch gore does not hurt me since my breasts are large enough to accommodate this.
This bra was super affordable and pretty much custom made, so I quite like it, but compared to Ewa Michalak, I would say the bra sort of flattens me in the profile. The cups are quite shallow and overall I look flat from the side compared to any of the EM cuts I've tried.

    • That's a gorgeous bra! If you had the opportunity, would you have gone with a larger cup size or do you think it would have been too wide or too deep? I'm curious because I have some custom Comexims coming my way as well. :O

    • Hmmm.. I'm not really sure. I would probably just get 55HH with regular cups since I know reduced cups fit a little smaller. Also Ginger is a different cut than their regular 'plunges'. It is slightly wider and shallower and already comes with a low gore.

    • We wear the same comexim size but for me it's EM all the way, the comexim bands are too lose even in 55 and the cups cut in on the top and give me pancake boobs. I need the projection that EM gives and the slightly more open on top cuts.

I purchased this in Canada from www.braconfidence.ca On the advice of the fitter, I ordered this bra in two sizes to see which would work best. This 30FF was too small. The other size was 30G which fits me very well. Review will follow another time. Sizing on this is in UK only. I also purchased the bottoms in Medium. Comexim bottoms run small and I find the Mediums fit like a Small which was what I wanted and expected. This one is being returned (and I've ordered something else instead ... rel="nofollow">https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";-)" /> ) as it was too small and I am keeping the 30G instead. Very nice swimsuit. In the right size, it gives a great shape, nice cleavage and is very attractive and supportive suit. I like the detail in between the cups. The metal clip at the back is easy to do up and feels very secure. Finally if you are in Canada, I have been dealing with braconfidence for a while now and highly recommend their great, personal service and excellent fit advice. Its nice to take the guesswork out of Polish sizing.

  20. Coco (381)

Comexim is quickly becoming one of my favorite brands!

I got Coco thinking it is lined with beige padding but it is actually an unlined bra, which might be why it's a bit cheaper than other bras. It is black with unusual lace patterns (I'm not really sure what it is) and neon-pink ribbons.

The band runs tight, about a size smaller I would say. I measure as 26D and usually wear 28C for comfort, so I think 65B might have been okay too. The band feels firm, and I believe the top of the gore dug in initially because of the band. Now that I've worn this several times ... the gore doesn't dig in as much, only every once in a while. Vertically wide wings smooth out my back nicely. No sidebones though. The spacing between each hook is a bit wider than usual, so normal 2-hook extender wouldn't work. The straps are fully adjustable.

The cups are true to size and shallow-friendly, IMO. They are single layer laces with two vertical seams. The material is a somewhat stiff mesh/lace that retains the shape (i.e. doesn't go completely flat when laid like those lace bras from Mimi Holliday). Because of the pattern, the nips aren't very visible even though the bra is see-through. Also, for a single layer of thin fabric, it hides nips under clothes fairly well.
The shape it gives is rather flat, and you can even tell that from the stock pictures. It is round and not pointy. I don't mind this, but if you want more upfront looks, this probably isn't it.

Compared to other Comexim plunges I own, Coco doesn't have as much room near the gore which is great for me. The gore height is pretty similar to other plunges (Butterfly, Iris). Perhaps halfcups and plunges in this size range aren't very different? The measured cup width seems to be on the narrower side, but the wires aren't too stiff. When I wear it, the wires stretch a bit and fit me perfectly.

To sum up, Coco is an unlined bra that fits like a 26D. It is shallow-friendly and gives a bit flattened look. I love the fact that it is lightweight and comfortable, as well as its design.

    • Walmart has 2-hook band extenders with 1/2" spacing and 3/4" spacing between loops, so the wider one might work for you.

As to the lace pattern - I find it phallic as heck!
