Though I haven't reviewed them on here, my current best fitting bras are @Cleo meg is 30G (with an extender-- slightly too big in cup) and @Cleo melissa in 32FF (slightly too small in cup). There's also my Bravissimo @Starburst that fits well in 28H (except that I need an extender). I consider myself a small-ish 30GG. I've been trying to figure out my Comexim size for a while, and I thought this was a good guess after trying on a Green Velvet in 70HH that was MUCH too big (at least two cups)-- as a smaller cup didn't make sense based ...on conversions I looked at.
This slightly too small in the cup, and the wires are a little too narrow-- the just reach my rib-cage, and don't extend past at all (and I do have a small amount of breast tissue along the side that I can see is not fitting into the cups). The cups are a bit too tall. I think the size I need is a 65J with lower cups-- but it's possible that a 70HH would also work (I think Green Velvet may run large).
Compared to other plunge bras, I found the separation between cups perfect, and the gore height nice and comfortable-- enough to make it feel supportive, but low enough that it certainly wouldn't show under most shirts. I do have some minimal quad-boob because it's slightly too small for me, but I can reduce this by loosing the straps. And I WANT TO, because this bra is very comfortable, and it's GORGEOUS and feels well made. The band is a true 30 band-- it stretches just to 30 inches, and is comfortable on the loosest hook. The fabric inside the cups is smooth and comfortable, and though the strap isn't very stretchy and is fairly tight, it feels really comfortable. The strap placement is also excellent for my fairly narrow shoulders.
The cleavage is really intense, but I think that's because it's too small in the cup-- which is good for me, because I prefer not to have too much crazy cleavage going on. I tried on a shirt briefly, and wasn't able to see seams at all... but due to the coloration of this bra, I'm sure it will show through thin or light colored shirts.
All in all, this bra seems to be fantastic so far, and I look forward to wearing it! Read more 300 more words
The color, and metallic-blue paisley pattern are lovely. The cups are a bit "foamier" than other bras I have, the cups make a squishy sound when you press on them. This isn't a big deal, just something different I noticed. Now onto the fit:
I am full-on-bottom and narrow. I normally wear a 32G (30GG in Freya/ 30G in deco). I found the band to be just right on my 30.5" ribcage. The gore is low, but not too low that my breasts spill out towards the center. It also lays flat against my sternum. I fill out the bottom of the cups nicely, but the cups are ...pretty tall and gap a bit near my armpits. This may be able to be corrected by a smaller cup, but it's something I can live with.
The shape under clothes is great! Very uplifed, not too round/not too pointy shape. The bra doesn't show under clothes either which is great!
All in all, I like this bra. It's pretty, comfortable and wearble under almost anything. I found the 70J to fit like a 32G/32GG.
This bra is AMAZING. The color in person is a deeper purple than what's in the stock image, but I think it's better.
The straps are almost a hair too wide, but I have really narrow shoulders; I think it's just an unfortunate side effect of being petite. However, the straps aren't sitting on any nerves that cause any kind of pain, which is fantastic. it's really comfortable, and the straps are very soft.
The left cup gapes slightly, but this is due to my left breast being smaller than my right breast, it fits well on the right side; I'm currently experiencing some VERY minor quadboobage, but ...I'm close to starting my period (as of Aug 6, 2013) so I'd imagine that the cup won't quad so much once my period ends. It's very slight and doesn't bother me at all. The gaping is not at all noticeable under a form fitting top. I am having to adjust myself by scooping and swooping, but I'm sure over time this will no longer be needed; I've been wearing bras that are too wide in the cups, and they have spread my breasts towards my armpits, so I have to retrain my breasts to go back where they belong. Since I'm close to starting my period, my right breast is pushing the cup off my chest a little bit, so the gore is floating by less than .3cm
The band is firm and gives great support, and the elastics are not digging in or cutting into my skin. I am getting a smooth profile on the sides and back. I am somewhat aware of the band, but at the same time, I can take in a strong deep breath and there's no change in terms of it cutting in uncomfortably.
The overall construction of the bra is fantastic, excellent finishing and doesn't itch or anything like that.
If I really had to nitpick, I would say the gore could maybe be about 1/2cm lower, but on the flip side, my breasts are really soft so I think if the gore was lower, I would get a very unattractive boob spill since my breasts are on the softer side due to pregnancy and breast feeding. Again though, I'm also extremely petite, the measurement from between my clavicle and to the level of my inframammary fold is only 19cm or 7inches. Read more 287 more words
I just received this bra and want to write a review right away! but bear in mind that I've not worn it for longer than 10 minutes so my feelings are subject to change. Edit: Now that I've had a chance to wear the bra--including a long night of dancing!--I can attest to its comfort. Also, the band has stretched just enough after a couple wearings that it's now quite comfortable.
First, it's a beautiful bra. The pattern and construction are amazing and the cups are very soft inside. I'm very pleased with the quality.
As for fit & sizing... this was a gamble (as it is for most people!) ...as I have never tried Comexim. Following their sizing chart, I am a 70G (which I reckon is about a 32F?). They use the +4 method, so if I size down to a 60 band, that puts me in a 60HH. This was probably the safest choice for me. I have read elsewhere that rather than finding your size this way, you should instead take your normal band size and use their chart for cup size. This methods puts me in a 60L (95cm bust). It may work for some women, but I recognized immediately that that would be wrong for me (I have quite a broad/muscly back so that distorts it somewhat perhaps)! The 60HH fits pretty well, though I might have been able to get away with a 60J because the gore doesn't tack and my boobs escape a bit out the sides, but these might be primarily shape issues. Neither problem greatly affects the look or fit of the bra, so I'm going to keep it. Please note that the band is tight. I have a 27"snug underbust (28" loose), and it's too tight for my liking--not enough to have ordered a band size up, but tight enough that I wish I owned an extender.
My only complaints are that 1) the gore is so narrow that the embellishment (a bow and a little diamond charm) get smooshed and obscured. Why even have them, or at least why have such a big bow? 2) the sides come up quite low. The cup width is nearly perfect on me (the wire is slightly too narrow on my larger side, but it doesn't 'cut in' exactly), but the cup stops about .5" too low so my a bit of boob can't be contained 3) I thought the shape would be rounder. This isn't a huge issue as most of my bras are unmoulded Freya so I clearly don't mind a pointy cup, but I thought the Juliette would be more rounded/uplifted.
Overall, I'm happy with this purchase and keen to try more of the brand.
P.S. If anyone's interested. I also ordered the matching briefs. They're a bit more matronly and full coverage (from the front) than I'd expected but ah well. I got size M and I have 35.5" hips (31" high waist i.e. at navel) and it cuts in a bit! Read more 393 more words
This would make a lovely t-shirt bra. Unfortunately I over estimated my cup size, so my boobs are swimming in these cups. The 65 band is way more snug than the 65 bands I wear in EM S-style bras. When I order again, I'll get a 70 band. I think the cups are much taller than the S style as well, though that may be due to them being too big for me. The wire height was perfect for me. I like that the gore is higher and the wires aren't practically in my armpits. I'll definitely try to get my correct size in this bra.
i love all things green. the first time i saw this bra months ago, i knew i had to have it. it's beautiful!
this is my first true foray into the 28 band world, and i think it was probably long overdue. the first time i wore it there was a slight ache in my back, but i wore it for the second time for most of the day yesterday, and there were no problems. it feels like i'm not even wearing a bra!
the sizing was a little weird - i normally use my leaning bust measurement of 38" but that put me in a size too large. ...if you're looking at their measurement table, i think the best way to do it is to take your usual band size (60 = 28, 65 = 30 etc) and use a bust measurement that isn't your largest one (for me, standing rather than leaning).
the velvet flocking is pretty but if you're wearing a thin, tight shirt it shows up sort of lumpily through the fabric. the cups are quite tall as well, so you might want to be careful with low cut necklines.
i got more projection out of this bra than even my EM bras - i felt like it made my boobs look bigger, actually, which is not something i usually go for, but there's a time and place for everything, i suppose. the profile from the side is very uplifted and perhaps slightly less round than my EM bras, though that may have something to do with the fact that the cup shape isn't quite as well matched for me. if you were to mentally divide your breasts into four quadrants, my upper-center quadrants are the most full, followed by lower-center, upper-outer and lower-outer. there's a bit more room in the upper outer quadrant of the bra than i can fill, though it's not visible (i can just feel it).
all around a wonderful bra, and the customer service at comexim is incredible. i'll be ordering from them again for certain
As a 28HH/J (UK), I need to order bras with narrow wires and in a plunge style (close-set in shape) so ordered the Basic in a 60L, a size which was recommended to me. Unfortunately, the bra is too small for me. This could be a size issue, though I have heard from some others with the Basic that the cup runs slightly smaller than their other bras. I think I need a cup or two up in this bra, with quadboobing at the gore area and painful wire marks on breast tissue.
My breasts seemed to put outwards as well, though this may be the size and not necessarily shape. I was also disappointed that in the large cup sizes the bra style is not as pretty as the photo suggests.
Good = Does have narrow wires; would make a good day-to-day bra Bad = Straps too wide, which I've found common in most bras in my size
This bra was too large for me, so I exchanged it for a 55HH. Even though I ordered the Comexim Jasmine in the same size, the Green Velvet bra was slightly larger both in the cups and the band. It felt very comfortable though, nice material and well fitting (small and narrow) underwires.
The Comexim Juliet has the same fit as the Comexim Basic. Full review can be found on my blog! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
Oh. My. God... I'd been wondering about Comexim for a while and when I saw this bra, I knew I had to get it. I'm so happy that I did because this is the most beautiful bra I've ever owned. I love it! Even more than that, it fits amazingly well. My measurements put me smack in the middle of the an HH and J cup on their size scale. However, due to monthly fluctuations, I went with the 65J, just to be safe.
In the end, it was right on the mark for me. The fit is just as good as my EM bras. This feels like ...it was made for me and I don't need to adjust myself at all after putting it on. The underwires are very narrow and the cups are deep, which suits my shape. From the front, the shape is very forward-center and from the side, it's a lot of projection. It gives a great amount of lift as well. Very perky.
Band is true to size and the straps are fully adjustable. The seams are very flat and the lace doesn't show under thin tops. Another thing I should say is that the fabric is really soft and comfortable to the touch. I'm very pleased with this purchase and am already planning my next order =) Read more 115 more words
Perfect! But since I lost weight it has a bit too big (too deep) cups. It has never made me unconfortable, the colour is ideal if you want to wear a white blouse/shirt. It has stretched, I'm using the tightest closure since the day of buying and now it is a bit too loose.
A pretty balconette style. The bra is well-made and comfortable and gives a very pretty rounded front-and-center shape. The cups are small in this model, however, hence the need to go this much up to get a good fit (I normally wear H-J). Reasonably priced and has a nice, lime-green colour.
Edit: I've had this bra for almost a year now and I'm afraid its straps don't age well. After each wash it's fine, but in the evening there's a noticiable loosening of the strap tension, and it's not about the strap locks slipping, it's more like the elastic material in them would tire out. Sad, since the cups and the band are holding up quite nicely. *** Edit 2: The band has also suddenly loosened up to the point where the center gore just doesn't stay in place. I've definitely moved up a cup size, too (32H => 32HH), so the added breast tissue adds to the loose band problem. I can't use this bra anymore.
This is a beautiful unpadded 3-part half cup (3HC) style I bought from Comexim last winter. I got a ton of wear out of it during my weight-loss journey, but since I lost 30+ pounds (on purpose), minus 3 cup sizes later, it no longer fits well. C'est la vie. These are older pictures taken from last winter.
I did find this style particularly useful during my weight-loss journey because as I lost upper fullness, I could still wear this bra comfortably; if there was some empty fabric in the cups, it didn't show under clothing anyway. Like I said, I lost about 3 cup sizes since Apr ...2024 doing low-carbohydrate, ketogenic diet.
re: Comexim panties. I def agree with advice given on Breakout Bras. Some people might be "size medium" in hips, but small in the butt. Like, they don't have a very full butt. Those people should choose size medium for Comexim panties. However, if you have more fullness in your butt (or more roundness), SIZE UP!
Right now, I wear size medium for US or Canadian underwear sizes, but I would still choose Large for Comexim. Read more 81 more words
It seems like BoB has had this marked down for a while. For 28$, I can excuse the pretty minor fit issues. (Small amount of gaping at the edge, for the most part.) After putting it on I noticed that it felt a lot tighter than my other 32 bands, and measuring it confirmed that its on the smaller side of 32, maybe closer to a 30.
The band is covered with the same lace that decorates the cups, which I presume is also impacting its firmness. Cups are lined with a flexible, thin foam and a layer of soft knit on the inside. The straps are made with ...either the same or a *very* similar elastic to what EM uses. Adjusting them is a massive pain, but those adjustments aren't going anywhere.
I'm not complaining about the fit here because there's actually very little to complain about. It's comfortable, it doesn't slide down, and the WIRES ARE NARROW ENOUGH!! Not a lot of brands can do that so I'm very ecstatic.
This bra, aesthetically, reminds me a lot of BM Tulipan. While the lace is on the rougher side and fairly textured, it doesn't show too much under clothes, which is nice. I didn't like the bow it came with, so I sewed on a matching black one from another model. One thing I noticed is that Comexim bows are both very big and tacked in extremely securely— it took me way longer than usual to unpick them. Read more 138 more words
Got on sale with the breakout bras sale event. It's the right cup volume, and cute, but the band is too big (I thought it'd run small but it really doesn't). I find it's okay on the loosest but feels a little unstable and awkward, it feels more secure and in place on the tightest. In the future, going for a 30F and wearing an extender for their padded plunges at first will be the right move - though this is a nice bra and I'm happy to use it for now. Comexim is definitely the right shape for me.
Not very soft, at all so I'd say it's not sensory friendly until it's washed. After it's washed, it's ok. It could be better. The other comexim bras (with soft bands, not mesh bands. From what I understand the mesh band bras aren't as soft as the fabric band)
Bra fit great until it broke in. The issue - once broken in, band stretched the wires out so the wires in turn flattened the bra cups then the bra cups were too wide which means it is now not deep enough.
I will be replacing the wires with hard wires because I did like the fit of this bra. ...
Over time, the bra fit me less and less and eventually I was quadding pretty badly because over time the wire stretched out. Make sure you're getting a band extender to break in comexim bras because the wires ARE NOT HARD. they're very easily distorted.
I went up to 80G per BOB recommendation. 80G is way too big, I'll have to shorten the bands for them to fit. I doubt I do this though, as I've fallen in love with ewa Michalak. I'll never buy another comexim or any other bra brand again. I'll be doing a give away for all of my bras that aren't ewa Michalak. Read more 107 more words
