Fits okay, but it's a little on the small side for my 30G boobs. The band is perfect; firm but not uncomfortable. The cups are lacking just a little bit of the immediate projection that I need - it's not the worst I've seen, but it's not the best fit, either. The top panel on the cups is angled inwards, towards my ribcage, giving my FOT-even, centre-heavy breasts a hint of quadboob. It's no all-day, everyday bra, for sure, but it lifts better than Ewa Michalak's plunge styles - making this a very good occasion ( = cleavage) bra. I did not request a 3x3 hook clasp, but ...I feel supported enough with just the two hooks. I may ask for more hooks the next time I place an order.
The colours are somewhat more muted than in the product photos. When it arrived and I put it on, I immediately thought to myself, that I looked like an old lady. Maybe it's that particular beige colour that doesn't go well with my skintone, or maybe I simply tend to look like an old lady, whatever I wear. Still, it's a nice-looking bra, and I will be getting some wear out of it. Read more 94 more words
Quite possibly! I've lost weight and it's redonkolously huge on me now. I've only used it a few (maybe 5-6) times. Would you be willing to pay $23 + $5 shipping?
Yes, I would definitely pay $23 plus $5 shipped! Paypal? I am actually not so sure how to private message you...
I thought I'd worked out my comexim size, but it turns out that not all plunge bras are the same from them. This appears to be cut more like a half cup. It's too shallow for me. I can feel the bottom rumple a little, and the top cuts in a little. It isn't really noticeable but the shape isn't how I wanted it. I'd asked for this to be made multiway so I may hold onto it as a halter bra until something better comes along.
Best fitting bra so far! A tiny bit of quadboobing, but it doesn't show under shirts, and I've heard Basic is prone to this because it runs a bit small in the cups.
I really like the set of the straps, and the wires are the perfect width. I guess I must be narrow after all.
The gore could be lower. Maybe next time I will order from Comexim directly and ask for a lowered gore.
The stitching shows through smooth, tight tops. It looks like I have a dent across my boob.
his is a very pretty bra that seems like it would be comfortable. I ended up with the wrong size due to a miscommunication with Anna at Comexim, so it is a bit too large in the cup for me. It gives a nice, round, uplifted shape. My breasts are close-set with a narrow root and a lot of immediate and center projection, but leaning towards FoT and full in the center. I feel like this bra would have fit well if the cups weren't too big. The straps are fully adjustable, and are just barely too wide for my narrow shoulders. But they are narrower-set than my ...Ewa bras and much narrower than Cleo!
It is brand new, never worn (just tried on for a few minutes), but it didn't come with any tags. The band seems quite snug for a 75, as I prefer 70 bands in most of the bras I have from Ewa Michalak, so this would be similar to some of her newer models that run tight, like the S Grace. It fits like a UK 32JJ or a very snug 34J.
Update: I have gained weight so that I am more of a 32JJ and have been wearing this bra more. The cup shape doesn't quite suit me as it seems to want my breasts to be fullest towards the outside rather than towards the center, and the gore is maybe 1/2" or so too low, as I fall out of this bra after a while, and not out of my Ewa PL, which has a very slightly higher gore. The band has also stretched out some after a few wears, so it is a little too loose on the tightest hook, but this is true of most of my (more worn) 32/70 band bras as well, so I think it is probably still pretty tight for a 75 band. My bra was ordered with special requests: (1) reduced cup height (shorter cups) and (2) higher gore. The gore did not end up being as high as I normally like, unfortunately, so I do spill out of it when worn for an extended period of time. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
I previously had this bra in 75L - Comexim ยป Tropical Garden (191) , but I have recently lost some weight (and some boob volume.) Tropical Garden has been one of my all-time favorite bras aesthetically, so when my other one became too large, I immediately ordered this one in a smaller size. ...I knew it was an older style, so I didn't want to risk not ever having it again! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
This (and all Comexim plunges) are great if you need narrow wires, deep cups, and shorter underwires on the sides (seriously, this bra does not stab me in the underarms at all.) The strap placement is also very comfortable as well. The shape is very uplifted, front-and-center, and naturally rounded, plus it makes my soft, FoB boobs look great, which is no simple feat. Just want to clarify -- you had the gore raised by nine centimeters? I've had issues with raised gores and lowered cup heights, similar to what you listed in your review here: http://www.bratabase.com/bra/dlet5/
My assumption was to do away with the alterations altogether, but maybe the solution is even more of an alteration?
No, I requested my gore to measure 9 cm total, which is higher than their standard gore.
The combo of alterations that I request now works quite well for me (reduced cup height, gore height between 9-10 cm, and always 3x3 hooks.) I have lost some weight since I wrote the reviews for the 75M bras, so even though I could never get the formula right at that size, thankfully I've figured it out at my new size. I've also accepted that Comexim bras will never give me the "boobs of steel" feeling of support, so I only wear them on weekends or evenings when I'm less active. I think I was trying to achieve that feeling originally when I was trying to get the gore super high. I just wear other bras when I need more support (like my EM S bras or Panache Sport, even.) Hope that helps!
Thank you so much for your feedback! My boobs are kind of all over the place right now, with some weight gain, tissue migration, and absolute inability to stop growing, so what initially worked for me with Comexim no longer does. I'm in the process now of placing an order with Anna again, and hopefully this time will be more successful. I'm going for a couple different sizes and no alterations (other than the 3 hook fastening, of course!), and keeping my boobs crossed. Thanks, again, and congrats on your weight loss -- assuming it's something for which you strove to accomplish.
Thanks! Yes, I have been working hard to get my weight down. Still have a bit more to go. :) Good luck! I hope your next set of bras is a success.
I'm pretty much in love with Comexim bras at the moment. I bought this one after trying the Irish Coffee in a 60E and finding it slightly too small, so got this in a 60F. It's a really cute and fun bra, flirty where the Irish Coffee is sexy. The shape is pretty similar to the Irish Coffee: fairly open on top, narrowish wires (though noticeably wider than the 60E), with a medium amount of projection. The band is a normal 28 - I wouldn't recommend that anyone with similar measurements to me (27" snug) should size up in the band. I don't get spectacular cleavage in this ...bra, or in Comexims in general, but I do get a very nice shape I can only describe as "perky". They're the type of bras I can wear to work and still feel I have boobs, without being all "Hey! Would you look at my boobs, they're right here!!!"
I also ordered the matching undies, and they're just as cute as the bra. The back is frilly rather than elasticated, which means it doesn't cut in at all (I was a bit worried about that because they're shorts style undies, which usually aren't all that flattering on me). I'm definitely ordering the matching set in Comexim from now on, for which my bank balance isn't thanking me but whatever bank balance, like I care. Read more 123 more words
I was told that this bra had 11.5" cup depth, so I went for it! It ended up having 12.5" cup depth with stretch, so the cup was way too big for me https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
This is one of the more cute bras I own, and I love the attention to detail that was put into it to make it more unique as a black bra. The polka dot print is inked/painted on, so washing it with dark colors won't affect the bright white, which is an issue I have had with other bras when there is white print interspersed with dark fabric. Additionally, the purple/pink bow in the middle is just the right touch of feminine without making it overly so.
Fit-wise, the bra is the amazing perfectly perky and rounded plunge Comexim shape. While I am currently wearing this with an ...extender (on the second row of hooks on the bra and hooked on the second row of hooks on the extender), the band is one of the more stretchier ones from Comexim, so I likely will be able to wear it without an extender soon enough. There are 4 rows of hooks on all of my newer Comexims, so I know the band will remain firm on my 32/34 underbust for quite a while.
The gore tacks on me well -- not Ewa Michalak well, but there is tacking without wire pain at all. The straps are full adjustable, and a comfortable width apart. Another quality I love about Comexim bras that I don't believe I've mentioned before is that their bands sit really low on me, which I love and find extremely comfortable. My waist curves in quite a bit, so having the band sit perfectly on the smallest part of my torso is great.
In short, love the bra and LOVE the brand. Read more 165 more words
I am a fairly even and projected breast shape. I have average-to-narrow roots with a slight omega shape. My best fitting bra is a Cleo Lily in 30G.
This bra is great! I really like it. The colour is light purple with some mocha undertones. It works well as a nude shade, as I could see it blending in with many skin tones. I am very fair skinned, and although this is significantly darker than I am, it still works well.
The bra is made of luxurious silky materials. I love the feel of it against my skin. It has a slight metallic sheen to it, almost, that ...looks gorgeous.
The shape is rounded and feels uplifted. It has a nice, even, projected fit. The wires are narrow.
This bra is, unfortunately, about a band size too large - I anticipated this might be the case going in, however, as I normally wear a 65/30 band. I'd been wanting to try Comexim for a while and decided to give it a shot anyway. The band does fit well on the smallest hooks, but it doesn't quite give enough support on any of the looser ones. I'm considering altering it down. Based on the tightest hooks, I would say the band tends to be snug along the lines of Cleo and Ewa. Read more 114 more words
The band runs tight, fits like a 26 or small 28. The cups are actually not bad at all for shallow shape (could be because the band is tight, forcing the wires to stretch, as the wires are pretty soft). I get some gaps near the gore. Also, the cups are slightly bigger than 55D Geisha. The bottom is shallow. Looks great under shirts, in my opinion. Lightly padded and very lightweight!
I usually wear a 28G (band too loose in them, so my size is a 26GG). I was disappointed that this didn't fit, as, according to the website, a 55J had the same cup size. Will return to Wellfitting and exchange for a 55K.
Fit: Wires are lovely and narrow, the only bra I've tried so far that has wires narrow enough for me! Overall construction: High quality, all the elastic and stuff was very firm (so I would think it would last for a while).
Comfort: It was a little uncomfortable in the cups, but that was purely due to me spilling out of the cups and ...jiggling around More comfort: band was firm but didn't dig into my 25.5inch ribcage (which doesn't have much fat on it). Straps were wide and comfortable Wires were also very comfortable, no digging in at the sides
Design: the bra is darker than expected, or maybe my skin's lighter than I thought! The lace on the upper cup was more prominent than expected, but didn't show through a t-shirt. I love the design of the bra otherwise, it shows that nude bras don't have to be boring in the slightest! Read more 86 more words
Beautiful black seamed bra, lightly padded. For sizing, as I know Comexim is it's own world,,, if it's helpful, I do best in a 36FF to 36G, and the sizing of this 85H seemed pretty comparable to a 36G
Such smooth seams- it reminds me of a molded cup in that sense, but with much better shape and uplift. The underwires on this are heaven to me. It doesn't come as far up into my armpits as others I have tried. Love love.
Unfortunately my soft tissue does not play well with the plunge style and I have funny empty space where the strap meets the top of the cup. I would like to try a Balconette in this size and brand.
I have 6 Comexim plunges that all fit pretty much the same except for this one. The band on this one doesn't stretch as far as the others. It is the same length, just not as stretchy. I would definitely size up the band in this one (I should of bought a 80j). Other than that, it's amazing. Absolutely gorgeous. I ordered a matching thong in a xl, but it fits very small, should of got a XXL. For reference my hips are 44 inches at the widest point, and I usually wear a US 10 or 12. My UK bra size is 32H.
The 55E is also a 26DD according to the wellfitting website . The cups run 1-2 cups smaller. I am very petite (5'0" 94 lbs. 26.5 under/30.5 on bust) and small chested. I used to wear a 32A before I wore bras that fit me properly. Technically I should be a 28C, but comexim's smallest sizes are 28d and 26dd, so I ordered both (took 3 weeks for it to be processed and shipped to the US. Expect a wait) so i could try them, especially since other's have mentioned that the bras run small.
The 28d fits wonderfully. It's a good amount of tight, but not too ...tight. Incredibly comfortable. Looking at the large cups with very little padding, I was worried it wouldn't fit but it does.
Update on 26DD:
This 26dd bra has a tighter band which can leave red marks and be uncomfortable. If you would like to wear the tightest band possible with my measurements, this would be it. Also, with the tighter the band the more the cups expand, making them seem shallower. This produced a quad-boob effect, but I was able to fix that just by adjusting the straps looser.
Again with either a 26dd, and a 28d, they're a cup size smaller so they are actually really 26d and 28c. Keep that in mind.

On another note, I also recommend 30C the little bra company bras for my measurements, not 28C bras. They run a cup small too! Thanks! Read more 138 more words
Beautiful soft cup balconette by Comexim. The satin fabric feels great. It's a plain design suitable to wear under thin fabrics but has a bit of detail which gives it sophistication -- small edge of lace along the cups, ribbons on center gore and at the end of each strap and lace overlay on the straps.
I was surprised that the straps felt set far apart but that may be related to the fact that this 70K is too large for me.
New favorite bra! This one seems to be the unicorn / holy grail for me. 55/26 band, not a custom order, and it doesn't even gape too much on my smaller boob. (The material comes over the top at just the right spot so a little bit of unevenness won't show under a top)
The wires are the narrowest I've tried so far, and they're right up next to my breast tissue. Everything seems scaled just right for my petite frame. From looking at the stock photos, I expected the material to eat my chest, with tons of gaping (I tried on a Freya Deco clone once in a 28F -one cup size too big at the time- and the gaping was laughable.) This? Looks amazing. And the shape is just right too. Seriously impressed. I want more like this!
I would like to preface this review by noting that I have had the gore and cup height reduced. I'm kind of in between sizes where I need the cup height and wires of a standard 26F but the depth of a standard 26FF. I had the gore lowered because high gores can be very painful for my splayed breasts. This bra is fantastic in every way. The wires are perfect for my narrow root, it sits nowhere near my armpit. For ladies who struggle with too-wide straps, Comexim will be a breath of fresh air. The straps are pretty close set and it does not rub against my ...armpits whatsoever. I'm glad I ordered this in a 55/26 band. It does not feel tight at all, just comfortably snug. The look of this bra is just gorgeous. I usually don't like brown lingerie especially against my light skin, but it works here. The ivory lace with the backdrop of a deep chocolate brown gives this bra a very luxurious, sophisticated appeal. I'm a sucker for bows and ribbons, so the coral bows on the gore and straps complement this bra really well. I would also like to note that the quality of the materials used is very impressive. The wings are made with an unbelievably soft material and the cups are lined with comfortable, breathable cotton. I'd also like to note that compared to Ewa Michalak bras, Comexims feel a lot lighter and thinner. Ewa Michalaks feel more 'built'. It depends on your preference https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Overall, I am so impressed with Comexim! I will definitely be ordering from Anna again. This bra is gorgeous and gives a great, uplifted, rounded silhouette under clothing. I wasn't sure what size to order, but Amelia from Wellfitting suggested this size as we have the same measurements and she wears a 75G in Comexim. It's slightly too big, but I'm not sure if a 75F would fit or be too small. The band is perfect, I usually wear 32/70 but a 70 in this would have been far too snug. Slightly visible seam under thin shirts, but much less visibility than I was expecting. I might try this in a cup size down just to see, but overall I'm very happy with this!
Any chance you want to sell me your Ingrid? :D
