Bloody beautiful! The beige is a bit too shimmery to allow for the optical illusion of only the green covering your breasts (Or maybe the colour is just a bit off from my flesh), but that doesn't stop how alluring this bra looks. Soft and satiny on the outer beige parts, with soft green lace overlaying it. A soft cotton in the cup, which is a padded cup. The lace usually doesn't show much under shirts that aren't fickle. It seems like the largest 60L/65K I have (out of 4), by about a half cup or cup size. Usual polish projected cups - quite narrow wires! Comexim's underwires are softer and bend outward when on a bit. Fully adjustable plain straps. Beige satin bows just before the straps attack to the cup and on the gore's top, with the gore bore having a metallic 'C' charm.
I absolutely love this bra, it's my favorite one that I own. The wires are pretty thin but they're strong enough to support me (my breasts are self supporting anyways). The cups are narrow and projected, and I figured out with this bra that I do have to adjust the straps a bit tight each time I wear it, since I have narrow shoulders. At first, the sides of the cups did rub a bit into my armpits, but I believe that it has since formed to my shape a bit more since I no longer feel the sensation.
Band is one or two sizes up than what I would typically prefer (since I bought this off another bratabaser), but the band isn't stretched out since I got it new, and it's snug enough on the 2nd/3rd set of hooks. Usually I get a bit of gapping at the top edge and outer corners of the cups (which isn't visible though since the cups close off, so it's just that I don't fill them all the way), but I fill them out pretty well during my time of month. The cups do come a little higher than I prefer, but this is more of a style preference than anything else, so next I'm hoping to try either a plunge with reduced cups or a 3HC.
This bra is beautiful and makes me feel sexy. The cups are a little on the small side for me and with my center fullness, I tend to get some quad boob throughout the day. If I ordered again, I think I would size up in the cup. The band feels perfect. It has held up pretty well over the years, minus the lace being cut in some places.
I still lack a lot of bra knowledge and I haven't figured out why my experiences with Comexim 3hcs are as they are. In Panache/Ewa Michalak I wear 30G and based on the huge quadding I get in Comexim 65J, I should be wearing 65K or even 65L. But my 65K Miss Bee-Have has issues with the wires digging in and riding down, while my two 65Js (as silly as they look on me) are incredibly comfortable. I'm hoping when I figure out the right alterations, I'll be able to order a 65K or 65L that fits!
For the time being, I'm happy to get more 65Js. I swapped ...with Wilderness1 who had ordered it with the following alterations: overlapped gore, straps moved in 1cm, and reduced cup height. I took some pictures of it with my 65J Irish Coffee to show the difference.
As you can see the gore and cups on this Honey Cookie are about 1cm shorter. I couldn't tell a difference between narrowness of the gores, but having a lower gore really helped me. I'm close set and center full, so I benefited from more room in the middle and the gore was surprisingly close to tacking. I can't visually tell a difference with the strap placement, but I can tell it in how the bra fits. Especially with my Miss Bee-Have, the straps are on the very edge of my shoulders, always have to be put back on, and are always loosening themselves somehow. The Honey Cookie straps feel much more secure!
Though it doesn't technically fit, 10/10 comfortable bra and I got to try these alterations! Read more 161 more words

overlapping gore, straps moved in 1 cm, lower cup height
This is a bikini top model "Showcase" in their peacock print, and follows the Comexim padded plunge fit. The gore doesn't quite tack, but it does 'float' comfortably between my breasts, about a half inch away from my sternum, and I don't have an issue with it. This is 1 cup size larger than my usual Comexim size, but I thought I'd take a chance, and it does work for me. Just a tiny gapping on the larger breast, and a bit more on the smaller, but both breasts stay comfortably within the cups. It actually fits in the cups the same way my Comexim ...Gloria and Padded Plunge 38HHs fit, and I'm guessing that's due to the swimsuit material being extra spandex-y and stretchy. There is no band adjustment due to the clasp... metal locking L-shaped hooks, one on either side, that click together (nice and secure, no worry about unhooking unless someone grabs it to unclick.) Typical stretchy swimsuit material, but a bit heavier than a regular swimsuit which is confidence-boosting. Double layer of material around the sides and a thin layer of padding in the cups (which I am sure helps with making it fit my 1-cup smaller size, and still look decent.) Print is cute, and overall I get a good feeling about it. (The opinion received from my guy was positive, too.) Other than the slight gapping which is really only visible from my vantage-point while wearing it, the only other negative is that the back band does roll up on the lower elastic. If there were a couple more clasps for band sizing at the back, I'd like that... after longer use,(or maybe even once it actually gets WET in a pool etc) it might loosen up to the point it wouldn't be as secure. Another, slightly tighter clasp option would really help out with that possible issue.
Even so, it's totally comfortable and looks good on. And I will probably mix it in with my bra rotation, actually, till we get to swimming season! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" /> Read more 252 more words
Custom 3hc with overlapped gore and 1cm extra depth at the base of the cup. This bra is made from a thick, firm fabric which would be very supportive if you have heavy breasts. I do not, but it still works great anyway. The tartan print is amazing and its also a great fit. So glad I asked for the extra cup depth for all my new bras as this seems to have solved the fit issues I had previously with my first Mimi and my Hera ( which I am still devastated about!) What can I say other than its fabulous!
I wanted to wait to review this before I got a full day of wear in.
Today, I wore it all day while at work and I have decided this bra simply doesn't have enough depth at the wire for me. It fits okay and is definitely not a terrible fit. However, by the end of the day, my ribs were a bit uncomfortable because my breasts and the wires had been battling all day. My breasts were constantly trying to push the wires out of my IMF to make more room. Since the band is snug, my breasts were not successful, but they were still trying their ...best to push it down. Despite the fact my Ardea is 2 cup volumes smaller it is wayyyy more comfortable because of how much more depth there is at the wire. My breasts just push up to a cakes on a cake cleavage in that bra, no folding down at the wire. I will probably still wear my Ardea more, simply because it's more comfortable.
On the positive though, this bra does give nice cleavage and it is a true plunge. I've tried on a lot of plunge bras that would still be too high for me to wear a lower neckline with. This one would actually work for lower necklines. I will definitely be keeping it for those occasions. Read more 120 more words
I'm very close-set, center-full, fuller on bottom, tall-ish roots, and average to wide roots.
Fits really well and comfortably around width and depth of cup. Band is snug on the tight side as is expected of black bands. Very slight gap on the right bigger side of cup near strap and along the top edge of cup. I think my bigger boob sits lower in the IMF and is also bottom heavy and the cup is not supporting it enough to fill up the top. This slight gap causes bra line to show on the bigger side under clothes. The left smaller side is perfectly contained with little to no gaps.
*I was not able to measure the bras before returning, mostly because t was before I was active on Bratabase*
I know Comexim is a favorite. I know a lot of people love these bras. I unfortunately was not pleased with it at all. It may have been the wrong choice for my shape, but the fit as so awkward! I took Breakout Bras’s recommendations on sizing up, but I either sized too far up or it was just a horrid shape mismatch all around.
For one thing, this bra is lightly padded. Padding and my boobs apparently do not mix. I filled the bottom okay, but the top ...gapped SO BAD. The actual bra itself is super cute, I love the little bees and that’s what sold me on trying it out.
Unfortunately, it didn’t work out for me. I’m not sure if I would try Comexim again, but if I do, it’ll definitely be one of their unlined models. I’ll have to research my sizing for the brand as well.
Oh its soooo shallow 😭😭😭 I love the style but it just slides down and cuts in to my breast so badly! I have tried so hard to make it work but its not happening!
Very Pretty and comfortable. It is however very shallow in the cups. I ordered a 60L and a 60M arrived. Even with the extra cup up, I am spilling out and quadding quite a bit. Its a shame as its a lovely bra. Perhaps as its a 2hc and not a3hc like I thought, this is why it is so shallow. The wire is fine though and the band also.
Just wanted to add that the thing I remember the most about the horrible fit of this bra was that it made my boobs look cross-eyed. 🤣
