I got this one in a swap, and didn't think to ask for the cup height. The cups are too tall for me which is disappointing as this bra is so much prettier in person. The bra is also super soft, softer than many of my other Comexims.
Aw gutted about the cup height :/ it really is so gorgeous in person compared to how it photographs though right?!
Yes, it does look so much better in person than in photos. If the cups were reduced it would more than likely fit. I have/had some standard height Comexims that work decently and others that are just way too tall.
Beautiful bra. Comexim quality is always spot on. I really wish this bra fit me. The band is spot on and fits perfectly. Tight enough to stay in place, but never uncomfortable. The cups on the other hand, are way too small. There isn't enough immediate projection and the whole cup is too shallow. I have pretty substantial quadding. I'll probably end up listing this bra because it is too uncomfortable to wear for any length of time unfortunately
This bra is absolutely beautiful. It looks amazing on and would be more comfortable if the band was a half inch bigger. I can barely stretch the band past 27 inches and if I force it, the wires distort. It is ok for a little while, but then the wires start digging into my ribs and it gets pretty uncomfortable. My search for the perfect bra continues. My 60 HH Comexim band stretches past 28 and it isn't uncomfortable at all.... But the cups are too small and shallow. Eh!
Why does it have to be so pretty but so small!! It quad-boobed so much that I could kinda tell it wasn't going to fit before I tried it on! Everything else aprt from the cups fit which is so annoying!
With little data available about Comexim unlined bras, I purchased both the 60HH and 60J Ivonne for "science." This is a beautiful bra!! The texture alone is impressive. Straps are fully adjustable. And, 3x3 fasteners are standard. The deep taupe color is saturated, rich, and I know this style will be my companion under white knits.
In Ewa Michalak unlined bras, I felt unsupported. The bras I tried had only 2x4 fasteners. Those of you with heavy breasts will appreciate the support of Ivonne's 3x3 fasteners. The Ewa Michalak HM, SM, and BM had too tall cups. And, when my breast tissue had enough room, I could not ...tolerate the excessively wide strap placement. But, this unlined Comexim has impressive lift, narrower strap placement, and a shorter cup. Not only are the straps attached more narrowly, but also the strap width is a supportive .7". Fellow short-rooted friends, Comexim Ivonne may be a viable option for you! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" /> https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" />
The immediate projection is very good. Because I have not tried unlined Ewa Michalak's in a 60cm band, I can't fairly compare the 60HH Comexim, 65G Ewa Michalak, or 70F Ewa Michalak. From my perspective, I recommend Ivonne for short-rooted, projected breasts. Because I have very short roots, there is a bit of wrinkling along the top edge when I slump my shoulders. However, in my typical posture, there are no wrinkles.
Compared to Panache/Cleo, you will notice there is no in-cup quadding despite the transition to an embroidered fabric. The profile is smooth and round even under a thin, stretchy knit (see the photo). Again, the band comfort and support with Ivonne is superior to what I've experienced with Panache/Cleo. The fabrics on Lucy, Lily, and Marcie seem cheap and itchy. I find Ivonne's fabric sumptuous in comparison. Finally, the straps on Ivonne are positioned more closely together than what I have experienced with Panache/Cleo, too. There are strong advantages to trying unlined Comexim bras.
Had I been more attentive when I ordered, I would have requested overlapping gore wires. I intended to order returnable Comexims. However, after ordering, I learned 60cm bands are not returnable. I need a bit more projection or the gore width would be acceptable. I'm learning sufficient projection prevents my tissue from compressing into the gore wires. There is enough immediate projection and support from the fabric that the cup doesn't wrinkle at the base. Good news for projected breasts!!
I thoroughly recommend Ivonne!! And, I will order again with overlapping gore wires. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" /> Read more 327 more words
Technically this can stretch to 29" however I find it way too tight without an extender (do ribcages expand somehow over time? hmm). Even so, I wear this with an extender and it gives me the smoothest shape under clothes. I think that because it is not a reduced height cup, it curves in at the top where I also curve in, which makes it fit well. I don't think it is a 100% perfect fit, but I am content with it.
Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous. I was surprised that the velvet is not actually black, but dark green. It's a really lovely look. I love this kind of green and I think this is such a comfortable bra. I hope Anna finds more of this fabric because I want everyone to have this bra, honestly. Wonderful.
Got this from the wonderful Jaimie at Bra Obsessed from the clearance bin. I wanted to try a Comexim balcony, since their plunges are an utter fail for me (not deep enough at the wire among other issues) and the 3-part HC's are too wide if the cup & band size is big enough. Sadly, because I really, really love Comexim as a company, this is also a fail. The top panel seems to be smaller/shorter than the dimensions of the lower part of the cup would indicate and angles in quite sharply. I'll bet this would be great for someone more FOB! The bottom is made of ...a slightly stretchy glowy knit in a mesmerizing color that defies description (I'm calling it fawny-mauvey-cocoa because it changes from brown to purple and back, depending on what you put it next to; it is a true neutral). The straps are not too wide set, firm, and the band is nice and supportive. It is deep enough for my immediate projection, and provides the natural-moderate lift I expect in a soft bra (its not saggy but not Cleo either). The wires and gore are narrow, and they are somewhat flexible so I could wear this baby all an active day with comfort. All good so far! However the top panel is NOT stretchy at all. It is densely embroidered and the fabric is on the OPPOSITE bias of the bottom panels. It is not lined, so the embroidery (which is beautiful flowers and shooting stars) is scratchy; I can see it bothering someone with more sensitive skin. Plus it seems to be attached almost oddly perpendicular to the bottom panels, and is very tight to the gore. So it cuts in something awful from the top & center, my girls look for some place else to go and get pushed down/sideways/squished and I end up with a bad shape and discomfort. Very sad :/ because I love the color and other than the weirdness of that top piece, it would be perfect! Read more 233 more words
I am probably the only woman on earth who is not over the moon about the aesthetics of this bra. I don't know, it just doesn't move me. Something about the colour combination, not liking it really. I got it used, it is comfortable, but I don't fill the cups as I should. There is some gaping with movement, but at the same time my boobs want to escape in the middle. I think the cups have been reduced on this one. The band is stretchy.
First try with a Comexim half cup. This is a 3 part cup. Good fit aside from the gore sitting on my boob. Not sure if this is a fit issue or just need to S&S differently with this bra.
It did this a bit on me as well, but I thought it might have something to do with it being too big on me. I did request overlapping wires on it which I'm not for sure if that was done. Other than that it looks like a really good fit on you.
Lovely, well-constructed bra -- a true Euro 55 band. My size is 26F and based on the fit of this bra I think I will be happier in a Comexim 55H. I will also order the narrowed gore alteration in future purchases. But I have no complaints about the bra itself, just be forewarned that it runs shallower than other Comexim styles.
This bra has reduced cups, and unfortunately fits a bit smaller/shallower on me than a standard 65HH. I imagine it would be great on someone with short roots. The bra sits a little below my IMF, and I get a slight OIG effect. It's such a shame, because the fabric is gorgeous! It's a minty satin with a very similar sheen and softness to my Anna Pardal Lady Grey. I really appreciate that the straps are taupe rather than the blue-green color of the cups, as it blends better beneath tops. Due to the material the band runs firm for a 30 and doesn't stretch much, so if you're between band sizes consider taking your larger one.
I LOVE the fabric on this bra, its beautiful and comfortable. The straps are moved in 2cm, which is great, and the gore tacks. The band is longer than other 60/28bands I have, so I have to wear it on the tightest hooks which works for now but I worry will become too loose quickly. Also, my breast tissue falls forward in the middle--not sure if its because the cups are the wrong size or this just isn't the right cut for me. The bra is wearable, but not perfect, so I think I'll try to figure out some adjustments to make and re-order.
This is so close to fitting but I seem to have gotten the only Sonia that runs loose in the band. I thought it was fine at first, but upon closer inspection the wires are a bit too wide when I fasten it on the first hooks, so it's not keeping me held securely enough. it also gaps a bit when I lean over. I can easily fasten it on the tightest hooks, and that fixes the problems, but I hesitate to alter the band of such a pretty bra if someone else can fit in it better. Shame, because it really gives a lovely shape and looks amazing from the front especially.
This must be one of the most comfortable bras I have ever put on, the fabric is just so soft and the band doesn't feel too tight or too loose, it's perfect on my 29" ribcage. The bra gives a very flattering round shape, the straps are fully adjustable and the 3x3 hook closure makes the band feel very secure.
I wear 70H or 65HH in Comexim plunges, and I was unsure which size I should get for a half cup since I read that you might want to size up in the half cups. I bought this one from another bratabase user, and I had a 65J ...coming in the mail at the same time, and the 65J is too big in the cup for me. This one fits me perfectly on my smaller side, and I quad a little on my bigger side, but it could be due to the stiff(ish) ribbon on the edge of the cup and because the straps are moved in on this one, so I have placed an order with Comexim with a standard strap placement in a 70H half cup and will see how that one fits. I usually buy UK bras and wear size 30G, but I always have the same problems - too wide wires, too wide gore and straps that are too far apart and dig into shoulders. So I decided to buy Comexim bra since I heard it's just the right thing for close set breasts with narrow roots. I fell in love with this bra when I saw it in the webshop. It is really beautiful mint green bra with lightly padded cotton cups, lined with lace on the outer side. Straps are fully adjustable. I ordered this bra with some alterations - it has lowered gore, reduced cups, straps moved in and it has 3x3 hooks. It gives great cleavage, lift and rounded shape. Unfortunately, it doesn't fit. Bra band is really tight, so I can't hook it up without extender (my underbust measurement is about 72 cm). Also, cups are too small and I'm pretty sure they would be even if they weren't reduced. It seems this bra would fit great someone who's 28FF or 30F in UK sizes.
This bra has one of the tighter bands of the Comexims I ordered. It gives me probably the worst back bulge, but it also gives the some of the best cleavage with only a small gap. Lots of room near the gore if you need it. Feels like it stays in my IMF nicely and the strap placement is narrow enough to be comfortable.
The bra did nof fit me in 2HC it was too shallow with a flying gore. The band was too tight and the cups covered more than my breast. Because I really like the design, I ordered the 3HC (knowing it would fit) in the same size, since then I am happy with this more than beautiful bra. The band is less tight as 3HC but still not as stretchy as dafhne.
Aw gutted about the cup height :/ it really is so gorgeous in person compared to how it photographs though right?!
