FINALLY I have got this beauty in my hands!
I know eberybody is been saying this, but THIS COLOUR!! I LOOOOVE IT SO MUCH!!

First things first: This band is SO tight!! I have to wear it with a full extender!
But outherwise it fits great. It feels much smaller then my 60HH charme, but this way it gives more cleavage https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" /> I don't think it's gonna be my everyday bra, as I like to have some more room and immediate projektion in the cups.

I asked them to make me the matching bottom the same style I got the victoria figi. I am not ... a huge fan of this figi to be honest. I just think the material isn't made to be bouble layered. Anyway I know this style is comfortable and fits me so I'm fine with this https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

edit: I got it with straps moved in, reduced cup hight & centre gore and overlapping wires

edit edit: after wearing it for some time I must say this beauty doesn't really fit me https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> Its a tad too small and I'm falling out at the centre!

  2. Free Time Plunge Bra (270)

I adore this bra. I'm not sure how else to put it haha. It's the best fitting Comexim I own. The band is definitely stretchier than others in this size. I could put it on the middle hooks but I'm trying to stick with the loosest as long as possible.

The website pictures don't do this pattern justice. It's much cuter in person. I love the contrasting bow, the plaid, the navy. It's so soft and comfortable. I wore it all day yesterday with no problems. The gore definitely tacks, in contrast to my Poison Ivy. I feel like it keeps everything where it belongs. The wire width is perfectly narrow and the cups are the lovely, projected but uplifting, rounded cups Comexim is known for. Zero complaints from me.

    Fits

Oh my gosh all the hype about Comexim is totally deserved. Vivien is the most comfortable bra I've ever worn. It's like a beautiful boob hug. I was really unsure about sizing for this, but the 60HH fits perfectly. The band could be a bit tighter for me, but it's definitely a true fitting 28. The lowered gore, cups, and moved in straps work perfectly on my petite frame. Everything is comfortable and there's no gaping. The three hooks in the back help add to comfort. The gore on this is very comfortable, even though it's higher than I thought I liked. Everything feels very supported and kept ... in place without being crushed anywhere. The silhouette is rounded and uplifted.

The purple on this is a million times more gorgeous in person. Ihis is very comfortable, even though it's higher than I normally like. This bra honestly feels like it was made for my breasts. I've never had anything like it. I'm going to end up giving Comexim all of my money as soon as they're back from vacation. I love love love this bra.

Seems like everyone is loving Comexim right now (including me). They're going to have a lot of work when they return!

    • I loved this bra in a 60H, think I am going to reorder it in a 60HH with straps moved in and reduced gore. Did you ask for 3 rows of hooks, too? PetiteCollegiate

    • This bra was originally from kerniss! She would know the specifics of the alterations. I believe the 3X3 hooks are not standard.

    • Hi! I had requested reduced gore, reduced cups, and straps moved in for all bras on that order. I actually got a 3x3 hook back that I didn't ask for on all of them, too, which was pretty nice! : )

    Didn't fit

I ordered this bra from Breakout Bras after reading a review that the band ran tight since I am running low on options for a returnable 26 band. It is a 28G/60HH, which is the recommended 2 sizes up from my usual UK size of 28F. The Piume Notte is an absolutely beautiful bra. I'm a sucker for the jewel tones, stained glass aesthetic, and fall colors in any season! I'm heartbroken that it was not a good fit.

The band was wonderful. In my last measurement, my snug ribcage is 24.8" and when fully inhaling, it is 29", yet this band was super comfortable . It is ... one of those mythical tight 28s that a 26-band can wear on the loosest hook, yet it is stretchy enough to offer no resistance when taking a deep breath. The band material is a strong feeling mesh that's cool and breathable. There are 4 columns of 2 hooks.

The gore was PERFECT. It came already overlapping and is literally the first one that does not sit on my close-set breast tissue, despite not being a super low plunge!

Unfortunately the straps were not great. They are fully adjustable and elastic, but the material is thinner and "sharper" (not sure how else to describe it - the edges fee sharp) than I prefer. I know I'm spoiled by those thick velvety Wacoal straps, and the straps on this bra would absolutely not have been a deal breaker if it otherwise fit.

Sadly the cups were the biggest problem. My bigger side fills up the cup completely but my smaller side has a gap at the top of the cup, though it's not visible under clothing. The shape doesn't seem quite right for me. My breasts feel kind of smashed flat by the bottom of the cup, rather than held up, while the apex is a bit too high for me. I have firm tissue and no matter how I hike up the bra, the boobs refuse to let it sit in my IMF and push the bra down, leaving 0.5" empty space at the bottom.

However, the 6.6" cups are WAY too tall on my frame. (I'm 5'0). The wire width is also a bit wide. Alone neither would be a deal breaker, but together they create a cup that cuts into my armpit like crazy. The outer cup edge is finished with this stiff scalloped trim that feels too sharp on the skin when I move my arms forward. Just from trying it on, it hurt, and I can't imagine walking or doing things in it. This is unfortunately the one issue that I can't ignore since it makes the bra too painful for day to day wear.

So sadly, this one will have to go back. I'm not sure what's next...

  5. Elena Plunge Bra (315)

    Didn't fit

I ordered the Elena as I was in desperate need of a nude t-shirt bra. I am a little too pale for Elena to work well for this purpose, I think I need to find a more peachy option. I have been eyeing the Sonia plunge on the Comexim sight for this purpose.

I was really pleasantly surprised with how Elena looks. From the existing bras on bratabase I was expecting a simple, nude, no-frills t-shirt bra. But girls - she's a beauty! The little black and white gingham bows on the straps and gore are adorable, and there is some nice nude lace detailing on the side ... of the bra. The material is not cotton (as I had expected) but a really lovely light, breathable power mesh. I think Elena got an upgrade!

I ordered Elena direct in a 60HH with a narrowed gore and the straps moved in 2cms. Compared to my unaltered 60HH, these customizations were made. Yay! Unlike some other Comexim 60 bands, Elena is TTS and feels very firm.

Sadly, even with the customizations, Elena is not a perfect fit. I think the bra is at least one size too small. I have noticeable quadding on both sides and the bottom of the cup is too shallow. I think need a 60J in this model. Sadly, Elena will have to find a new home on bratabase.

I can't believe I went an entire month without trying a new bra. That's very unlike me lol. This is yet another hit for me from Comexim. These 3-part half cups, both EM and Comexim's, are my jam lately. This one is a little wider than others but still workable. The immediately-projected-but-not-too-projected-at-the-apex shape gets along well with my squishy tissue and short roots.

I'm so excited to receive the Comexin half cup i ordered. This looks fantastic and comfortable!! Sincerely, thank you for encouraging me, repeatedly, to purchase the half cup :-)

    • 2

You're welcome!! I super hope it works fabulously for you!

    • 2

That looks great I've been thinking about an Elena half cup, hadn't thought about requesting 2 seams or a color change though. I just got the Sonia half cup and it fits great so I might go ahead and request the 2 seams for the Elena.

    • 1

I have this in the nude as a plunge and love it! I didn't know you could request black! I might do that :)

    • It's so weird, the other bra on bratabase under this entry is clearly the plunge, and the stock photo here and on Comexim's site is a single seam half cup.

    • I mentioned in my blog review that I specifically ordered this one as a 3 part half cup because it's standard as a single seam and that cut doesn't fit me.

  7. Brigitte Plunge Bra (332)

    • bonjourhi Arabella comes in both PL and HC. Brigitte doesn't & this is a plunge. You can tell the difference by looking at the seam pattern. HC cuts have only vertical seaming.

    • The first link is a half cup - that one even says it is with the HC after the name. The second link is a plunge. If it's not noted on the site, the seam pattern gives it away. But they're also categorized on the website in a "half cup" section & a "plunge" section.

    • 2

lcl0706, I've always loved your reviews because they are well photographed, with all three angles critical to discerning fit; good lighting that reveals detail; and, of course, intelligent text. I love the post with this Comexim Brigitte review most. I was moved by your personal revelation about body image and eating disorders. I might suggest one very slight change to the review. Could you link to Bratabase when you mention how you stumbled on correct bra fit?

    • Aww thanks lady <3 you bet I'll link back to BTB.

  8. Pioson Ivy Plunge Bra (353)

Well, the much anticipated arrival of my third attempt at Poison Ivy has come. Finally, one I can keep! Yay!! However there are a few points I'd like to make about this particular bra, especially in comparison to the Free Time I also ordered and will review in a bit.

It's still just as pretty as it always has been. I feel like a sexy woodland fairy. The band is TTS - stretches to 28" exactly. Cups are narrow at 5" and allow for immediate projection. One caveat here - it is shallow by the gore. Anna told me it's ... the same pattern as Free Time (and I imagine quite a few other Comexim plunges) but there's something quite different about how it fits in comparison to my Free Time. I think it's the material - it feels thicker somehow. The gore soft tacks, and really wants to float at the top. I noted this on the fit checklist, but on the personal assessment I said it was okay, because I think this is the best fit I will get in Poison Ivy. It tacks better than the reduced 60HH I tried. The 60J gore did completely tack, but it was massive everywhere else. It's possible that I could have requested a 60J with like a huge 4 cm cup reduction, and maybe it would have tacked, but I took Anna's advice and just went down to a standard 60HH.

I think Poison Ivy is a slightly different bird for Comexim. It gives me a hint of actual cleavage. It acts like it wants to be a push up bra. It's definitely the bra to wear if I want to go out and put the girls on display. Everything is up front, together, and says "hello boobies!!" Since I don't do a lot of taking the girls out these days, it will be a mini-adventure in itself to see which of my shirts it works best under. But this bra has been The One I've Chased Forever, and I'm so glad I have it in my closet now. It's so uniquely gorgeous and I just cannot get over that hunter green.

      Oh my it's gorgeous!

I hope Comexim releases that navy eyelash lace that's on their FB soon, because I really need to order that and this.

I'm so glad you finally have one that you can wear!

    • Isn't that navy bra amazing??? I love the eyelash lace!!

    • 2

Sexy woodland fairy! Lol! I love that.

    • This is so gorgeous on you! Now I'm regretting not adding it to my order! The fit note is interesting though.

    • 1

Thank you! It's such a gorgeous bra. You should definitely try it ;-) The main difference is the gore which isn't a deal breaker for me. However the Free Time is the exact same size & definitely tacks. Who knows!!

    • 1

lcl0706 jlcl119 I feel like that navy bra will sell really well as it seems to be everyone's favorite. I want it too, so I hope they don't run out of fabric or end up with a long wait time.

  9. Geisha Plunge Bra (202)

This is a great bra and could probably satisfy you straight off the rack if you have a 27" underbust. I'm gonna need an extender, personally, since it stretches to 27.5" and my underbust is 28.5". But ANYWAY! Beautiful, honestly. The cups are right. The gore is unaltered and actually does not bother my sternum. The projection/depth is perfect. I would definitely recommend this to those of us who are between a 26" and 28" and need a good amount of immediate projection as well as space for upper fullness. I'm between even/FOT and this is really, REALLY good, though the band is quite tight right now!

This is my first Comexim 3HC though it happens to be a bikini top! For reference, I am projected, FOB, center full, narrow roots, and petite (4'11").

I noticed the cups are quite small for this size when I was measuring the bra, but they stretch a lot since it's swimsuit fabric. I still get some quadding but nothing that bothers me too much for a bikini top.

The band is stretchy but still supportive. The straps are very comfortable and don't sit in my armpits. The bikini has a gold clasp that snaps in the back and seems pretty secure. It seems like it'll hold its shape pretty well ... in water, but I'll have to update this review after testing it. I love the sleek black design, and overall it makes for a great simple bikini top that can pair with any swim bottom!

I'm wondering if this 3HC is comparable with regular 3HC bras? I've never tried a Comexim 3HC, because I thought it wouldn't work well for my FOB breasts. Though I'm wondering if this bikini works because the fabric is more forgiving...It does make me curious about trying 3HCs though!

This looks great! I agree that black is so versatile for a bikini, matches everything which is nice! Please update when you wear, I wonder if it’ll stretch a lot when wet? I think this should be similar to a regular 3HC bra for sure.

    • 2

braluv Thank you! Yes, I was wondering if it would get heavier or stretch when it's wet also. I'll keep you updated!
And thanks for your input. Looks like I'll need to try some regular 3HC bras!

    • 2

The cups seem smaller in this swim top compared to their regular 3HCs. For referencce, most people measure Comexim 60HH half cups with a depth of around 8.3-8.7. Since you're getting some quadding with this, and you have it measured at just over 7, I'd guess this would be your size in Comexim 3Hcs, as they measure deeper than this does.
I've always wanted to try Comexim swimsuits. I'll be watching for your update too, as I'm curious how they do when wet.

    • 1

dtane18 , this bikini top looks good! I agree with the others that you want it on the tight side because it'll stretch when wet. Let us know how it does out in the field!

    • 2

UPDATE: I wore it to swim today, and it held up really well! It didn't feel heavier or drag down when drenched with water. It was very secure, and I didn't have to readjust or anything which is very surprising considering I was swimming laps in the pool!

It is much too large in the cups for me. The cups gape wide open on top. The straps are too widely set so my arms touch them and make the top of the cups tilt even more open. For reference, I'm 12” between the ends of my armpits and 14.5” from end to end of my shoulders measured on the front and under my neck. The band is very firm.

I totally feel your wide set strap pain. My armpit to armpit is 11.25" so basically all straps are too wide set for me. (I love that you can have them moved in with Comexim.)

Elena is my first Comexim plunge bra that fit. I've lost weight since I got it, but it still fits pretty well. It was a great introduction to Comexim plunges for me and got me hooked after I kept striking out with 3HCs. The band runs tight and the apex projection is great. At the time, the wires were the narrowest I had tried and felt amazing, although I can go narrower now. Reduced cup height would probably make it perfect, so that's the alteration I'm going to go for next. There is a long story behind how I ended up with a 28G/60HH (I never expected it to fit). I've put all the details in the full review on my blog https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

Since I got this bra last December, it has been the one I’m most likely to wear on any given day. It’s soft and comfortable and perfect. It has the narrow and projected cups Comexim is known for, and gives a round and uplifted but still natural shape. I was a bit unsure before ordering whether I would like the look since I kind of hate beige bras. But Ingrid has understated beauty, and a slightly vintage feel to it. The copper and olive green rose print looks gorgeous on the warm-toned creamy background. I like that it’s not trying to be sexy.

I ordered Ingrid with a reduced ... center gore, but it seems like standard height to me. The gore doesn’t really tack and sits on my breast tissue, but reduced and overlapping gores do the same really. It’s a result of my very close-set breasts combined with Comexim’s soft wires. It’s not uncomfortable, so I don’t mind. The band was unfortunately quite loose on my bra, and I had to close it with the tightest hooks immediately. After some time I got the band shortened by a few centimeters, and now it feels very good (measurements taken before the alteration).

Interestingly, the fit of the cups has changed somewhat after receiving the bra (even before the band alteration). In the beginning, the bra was gaping at the top annoyingly. After a few months, the gaping disappeared and the top edge was sitting very smoothly against my skin. I couldn’t figure out why my boobs would be growing at this point – maybe it was some migrated tissue coming back after starting to wear projected Polish bras? Nevertheless, it fits very well now and I am happy!

I also got a matching thong in size S, since I wasn’t a fan of the brief style. The thong is really pretty and comfortable, I love it.

So yeah I want to wear this bra every day. It feels like pillows for boobs. It’s beautiful. I’m happy to now have Comexim in my life.

I have it and really like it. Also I wasn't sure about the print but it's looks much better when you have it in your hand or on your boobs actually.
However I don't wear it often now as before coz I have way too many bras :D

    • Thank you Love4Pollinators ! I agree martka00, it does look better in real life! It's starting to have a lot of competition now, but still holding on. :D

    • 1

Thanks for the review. I have the same close-set problem where it's hard to get even an overlapped gore to tack in there, but some definitely work better than others. Still haven't found the right fit in Comexim but inspired to try again.

    • 1

This is a bra I've never pulled the trigger on and every time I see it I like it a little bit more. It really does have a vintage feel.

    • 1

too sad there isnt a longline version available.
This bra really suits you well.

    • 1

1zora216 Thank you! :) Actually you can order any of their bras as a longline version, it's just a bit more expensive.
lcl0706 It does! It's very lovely but not necessarily one that would at first get your attention.
MommaK I hope you will find the right fit! :) I find that Ewa Michalak gores tack more easily (lower gore + firmer wires), but often I still find Comexim more comfortable.

Get alterations if you're short and have a narrow frame - seriously. I'm a big fan of this bra, though I do feel that the band is riding up. Maybe this has a stretchy band? I might have to invest in a 55 band or something for the Basic model, oddly enough. I guess a 55J is where I need to go for this, which sounds crazy to me but I guess isn't that crazy.
The cups have been lowered, as has the gore, and the straps have been moved inward. I am positive this would be too tall and would hurt my armpits, otherwise. My bigger breast is coming out near the gore whilst my smaller one is sitting pretty. Not sure what to do about that. Would one cup size up end up being too much? It's not uncomfortable, but the seams show through clothes on my larger side (left boob) and don't on my smaller side.

"thinking all bras will make your boobs look like one half of a basketball" LOL

Does your gore tack? Do the straps feel close enough?

I've been considering a custom order with straps moved in and reduced cup, but your cups still look so tall and straps still look so far! Maybe I am just shape incompatible/Lily-spoiled.

    • 1

Also, on the details: it seems like Comexim just uses whatever they have in stock whenever? For example, my beige Basic has the pearl on the bow, and also has lace detailing sewn all the way up the front of the straps. This actually makes the straps more supportive/less stretchy, so I don't have to tighten them as much. I've seen other beige basics with different/no strap detailing seemingly at random.

LOL but really, I'm still very shocked when my boobs don't look like perfect half-spheres! The gore does tack. I do want the straps moved further inward, so I guess on my next order I'll be like "move them way further than you'd ever do this", and I really could stand to have the cup height shortened more. My inner fullness is bulging out but the top is still out in no-boob land, though not as bad as the 60K I tried. I'll ask for extra height reduction, too.
I wonder why they have so much variation with that! I wish I had some detailing on these straps - they're also almost an inch wide, which is kinda crazy, and they are very very stretchy. Thank you for telling me that! I'll have to keep all of this in mind...

    • NP! Some lace on straps could be added to yours easily. I'm sure a tailor would do it for like $5, or anyone with any sewing knowledge (read: not me!). I can send you pictures of how they stitched it on if that's something you'd be interested in.

Also, I'm not sure if they would do a more extensive alteration (something Asophisticatedpair said in one of her blog posts somewhere), so be doubly sure. Sophpair also replied to one of my comments on one of her posts and said Comexim is developing a new cut which would be more balconette-like, so I'm holding out for that.

    Hasn't set fit

This was my first ever unlined Comexim bra. I went for a custom 3HC cut since that's my favorite padded style and best fit in general. I loved the lightweight materials and the look and feel, but the fit was more shallow than expected. I wrote up my review and fit adventure as a comparison with the next size up. You can find the full review on my blog.

    Didn't fit

Purchased a 28G bra from breakout bras. I compared the measurements of the 65H (how I placed the order) and found them to be the exact same cup measurements for the 28G/60HH.

looks to be too wide for me but it is one of the better fitting bras I own. I require more projection than 9.5 but because this is wide, my tissue settles into the side and "fits". A bit shallow too. If I slouch, I can kind of feel the padding near the underwire near my armpit begin to fold in half. Unsure if it is because too wide of wires or shallow cup (maybe both?).

The gore isn't close set enough for me either, but it's perfect when I fold and overlap the wires.

Band also feels really stretchy and I could probably do a 50 band or size 26.

My breast tissue is soft; left is even (almost/a hair FOT), right is FOT. I have very narrow roots with some center fullness.

I'm likely keeping it to make personal alterations.

I custom ordered this 60HH plunge with "reduced cup" and "straps moved in" alterations as well as narrower underwires. This is my best fitting Comexim so far. You can read my full review on my blog, where I compare it to a minimally altered 60H.

  20. Jasmine 2 Plunge Bra (282)

This bra was given to me by amandafire which was a project of hers to see if she could reduce the cup height herself. So as you can see, one side is regular, and the other has been reduced. I am so happy she let me try this bra, and I'm so elated to see that it fits! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> For the most part. Obviously, the reduced side is a bit too open for me, even with a cookie inserted. I think there is more gaping on the reduced side because when the strap was sewn back on, it's closer ... to my armpit/arm than the regular side, so I push the cup forward a tiny bit. My apex also is about an inch below the cup apex (yay full-on-top-ness). Also, these cups are a tiiiiiny bit too big for me, but I know that if I went down a size, it would definitely be too small. There is slight wrinkling in the bottom of the cups, close to the center gore, but that is simply because my roots are weirdly shaped and the wires are more U shaped than my roots are. I fill the rest of the lower half of the cup fine, there's just a tiny bit of empty space right over my apex, but then the top of the cup sits flush against my skin. So I believe I can get away with it with cookies inserted if I were to buy more Comexim bras. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

I also tried this bra on with large, firm push-up inserts, to see if that could reduce the gaping, but due to the fabric softness and flexibility, it just pushed the cups out rather than push my breasts up to fill the top edge of the cup. My breasts are splayed, which means I need a lot of side support to push all the tissue out of my armpits and pointing forward, and I find that even though this bra fits the root of my tissue really well, I still somehow settle into my armpits after several hours, and need to re-scoop and swoop (only once or twice a day, though, not like every 5 minutes https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" /> ) So I wish the cups were a tad more structured and stiff, BUT even with the softness issue, I STILL get more forward projection than any of the other bras I've had! Everything else I have just kind of sits around my breasts, or flattens them a bit now, rather than push them forward. And to top it all off, this bra is comfy. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> No painful band, no painful gore, no painful straps; it's really comfy. I guess the flexibility is good because it moves with me as I move, but just a biiiit more stiffness along the sides would be ideal.

I noticed that almost all 60 bands in Comexim say they reach a max stretch of less than 28 inches, but I found this one to stretch to my comfortable max of 29.5 inches. Maybe it's because it's a used bra, maybe I am just more aggressive at stretching? Either way, while I know this bra fits in this size, I might still want to try a 65H in another model just to be sure I don't end up with a band too big or too small.

One odd thing about this bra was that the left wire was 5.5 inches wide, and the right wire was only 5 inches wide. (This is why I averaged them at 5.25 inches when I input the measurements.) The right wire fit my right breast perfectly (it's a bit more narrow than my left), and the left wire was a bit too wide. I think in a perfect world, I would need a 5 inch wide wire for my right breast and 5.25 inch wide wire for my left. (Another reason why I don't want to size down, because then the wires would probably be too narrow.)

The next step for this bra would be to move the straps in. When I manually folded the cup so that the strap would sit closer to my sternum, the gaping went away. I'll probably keep it lopsided for now and use it as an "experimentation" bra.

I am just SO EXCITED I finally got to try this brand!! My breasts have betrayed me and when from wide and shallow to more narrow and projected (yay re-migrated tissue?), so almost all UK bras just don't cut it any more! No more Tutti Rouge, no more Cleo, no more Freya; no more favorites! It's sad, but hopefully Comexim will come to my rescue! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
