I loved the uplift and cleavage of this bra when it fit better... but now it's too big https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
This is a vertical seamed balconette bra designed to give cakes on a plate cleavage. I love to wear it under clothes as an everyday bra but I know a lot of people prefer it as a bedroom bra.
This is very pretty but it is completely the wrong shape for me. It is far too shallow at the bottom and the top gapes. The band is also very stretchy but it doesn't ride up. I think this bra would someone with full on top, wide and shallow boobs.
I love this bra. It might be the best bra I have ever had. It is the first bra where the band feels secure (doesn't ride up or move around) and where the gore actually touches my sternum, probably since I was still growing! It is comfortable and supportive. It took me a few days to get used to since it's much snugger than what I had been wearing, but it was never uncomfortable. It kind of felt like learning to wear a bra again. I will definitely buy from @Curvy Kate again, although next I'll be looking for a bra that has a smooth outside (this one has a seam) and is nude-colored all over (this one has some white trim). The trim and seams limit what shirts I can wear it with, especially in the summer, but in terms of fit I don't think I could be happier. I bought it from @House of Fraser online and I have been totally pleased!
I do not like the way this bra looks. I just don't get the design. Anyway, straps are too far apart, but the bra fits pretty wonderfully otherwise. This is definitely my size. I would prefer the underwires to come up a little bit higher under my arms (some breast tissue is escaping), but it's fine. Band fits well on loosest hook. The shorter gore (as compared to others I have tried) is more comfortable and doesn't jab into me. Not a t-shirt bra, or I would keep it.
This bra fits me perfectly! I got it in seafoam and pink which I hear is slightly different than the other colors. The center gore is a little higher than I'm used to but it's great. The bra is very pretty I do feel that the band has stretched quite a bit an wish I sized down in the band.
[This review is for the SS2012 Hot Pink colourway, before the CK adjusted the fit]
The lace wrinkles at the side and doubles over in the top layer, I'm not sure why. I encircled the problem areas in my full review. I tried the Orange/Violet colourway (SS13 if I'm not mistaken) in 30DD on the tightest hooks, and I didn't have these problems. Perhaps the older models are just not right for me? The band is quite firm; if you're a 26 this on may be worth looking into.
This is the black and silver colourway. The back is pretty tight, much tighter than my 28H Thrill me was.
It is a very wide and shallow bra, even in this size. It is the complete opposite of what i need for my boobs. I bought it because it's so pretty and I had only really explored Curvy Kate at the time, so i was nervous about buying other brands!
This is an awesome daily bra! It is extremely comfortable. The cups are smooth and the seems don't show under clothing and the band is snug and comfortable. Even as a daily wearer, this is still a very attractive bra. Absolutely amazing make from Curvy Kate.
The band seemed a little tighter on this one and cups were a little small. The wire was a little wide for my shape. It would be a beautiful bra for someone.
Absolutely beautiful, but too big for me to begin with. Cups come up pretty high on the sides, band is fairly stretchy (though not a whole bandsize stretchier, I don't think).
I'd warn anyone considering buying it that it's really wide - the wires are wide and the straps are very widely spaced. Having said that, I still fill the cups at the sides and the straps mostly stay in place, so it works for me. Fitting quibbles aside, this bra looks gorgeous and I find it pretty comfortable. The lift and shape aren't amazing but they're not bad either, and the bra is so pretty that I don't mind.
I absolutely love this bra. I ordered it about a month ago in a smaller cup size, and had a big of quad boob goin' on, so I am much happier with the larger cup size. But, the wire runs a bit too big for me. It doesn't really lift my breast like I would want it to.
The straps and the cups themselves are way too wide for me. My boobs are bursting out the insides of the cups, but the cups go really far under my arms. The band is really stretchy.
It's close in volume, but the cups are too far apart. The wires dig in and there's empty cups in my armpit. The straps are a bit far apart, but it works. I tried pulling the cups together to mimic a gore alteration, but it got too uncomfortable. I can lift my arms up without the bra moving.
It's a comfortable and well made bra and I wish we didn't have irreconcilable differences. But I think this is an old version of CK Princess and have read that the cups are now closer together. I plan on trying the new version in 30GG and 32G, or possibly a larger cup in these bands. Note to self: the curved band wasn't an apparent problem.
The underwires are a good height, not all that tall and do not poke my ribcage. The band feels really good. The cups are one size too small for me, but I think if they were the right size they would fit well. The cup shape is okay - they don't give a pointy look but they aren't rounded either. Probably a "natural" shape. Two hooks on the band, feels pretty supportive.
