Really cute, comfortable bra. I think it might not be quite the right shape, my left boob wants to escape into the center, but it's comfortable and very flattering under fitted shirts. Wish I had it in 28E, or 26F, given how stretchy the band is. The band and location of the straps is such that this is NOT appropriate for a Rixie Clip. I can't see how you could make the band "shorter" without damaging the bra. I'll leave it as-is if I choose to wear it.
I have a few different colors of this bra and I really like it for an everyday great support type of bra. It does leave horizontal bra lines under my clothes, which I do not like the look of, but I find most of my bras do that (if I didn't wear a bra because of that I might have one bra to choose from, so this is fairly low on my bra priority requirement list).
I love the fact that it was readily available enough that I managed to get a few different colors over time. I really like being able to reliably find a bra that fits ...that I like, and be able to (fairly) easily purchase more. I have some other bras that I prefer the fit of, but since I have a practically zero chance of finding more of those exact bras (I'm talking to you Masquerade Anise 28E!) I don't wear them "everyday". I don't want to wear them out too fast, and after years of wearing a poorly fitted bra I get anxiety not knowing where my next good bra is coming from.
I have pinned the centre gore inwards on an angle to increase the height of the wires in the middle. This wasn't necessarily out of necessity since I comfortably wore these bras for a long time without doing that (I didn't have it pinned when I set the fit of the bra- this was recent in this bras history), but I really do like the wires coming up very high, so this works for me. (I haven't actually sewn it together because it works just fine for right now, and you can't see it under my clothes anyways.)
I find it very comfortable for during the day, but since it's not 100% cotton it won't feel like it is either. I have sensitive skin and it doesn't bother me at all, unless I wear it at night or when I'm sweating a lot... https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" />
I will say that I have cut the fancy lace off the top in a different size of this bra type, and it didn't help at all with the bra lines under clothes, so beware if you choose to do this; it might not work.
TL;DR I buy this bra over and over because I know it will fit well to my body, I can find it fairly easily online, and it is usually for sale at a good price too.
The band on this bra fits fine, probably a little stretchy/big for a 32. I usually wear a 34. The cups are a bit too wide for me, and possibly the wrong shape. I like the shape it gives my breasts, nice and round and lifted. Unfortunately, I don't fill the bottom of the cups so it's probably the wrong shape for me. Also, it is a bit small, the center gore does not lie flat.
This bra is ridiculously pretty and delicate looking. The dark blue looks great with the contrasting off white embroidery.
Unfortunately, Curvy Kate bras don't work with my shape. I have narrow close set breasts and the cut of this bra seems like it would suit wider set breasts with less projection than mine.
This bra is one you might want to try in a cup size up (and maybe a band size down) because it fits quite shallow. The wires are average-wide.
The purple and black colour combination works really well, and this is a bra you can show off if you like to, I found the lace to be okay for under t shirts but I know some other women find that it shows too much for their liking.
The band is thick with a 3 hook fastening, unusual for bras in this size and a really good feature in my opinion. The straps are also wide, making this a very comfortable bra.
I usually buy 42 bands, but wanted something more comfortable for long hours/travel hours. The band stretches about the same as my other 42 bands, but somehow feels much more comfortable, and I'm still happy with the amount of lift and support it gave me.
I had some quadboob on the left side for this so I should probably size up. Very wide shallow cups that flattened me out. I didn't really like the shape under clothing.
Bra band runs snug (my ribcage is 28.5 inches and this was too tight). The cups are TINY and very shallow. The Cleo Sasha fits me in a 28H... and I would need a 30HH or 30J for this bra to fit. I'd also need to alter the gore, as the underwire placement is weird for me.
Bottom of cup is very shallow, I measure 28D/DD and the bottom of my breast cannot fill the shallow bottom of the molded cup. I might need to size up. Because of this, bra slips down and bottom of underwire digs into my chest.
Cups are molded with a lot of projection at the front and center of the bra.
This bra is so close to being a good fit for me! The problems: The wires don't extend very far or high on my sides, which allows tissue to escape into my armpit. The lace lies flat across my chest, but there is just a little extra room at the top of the cup. If I was handier with a needle, this might be fixable, but I'm not quite willing to venture there yet. This is a great bra to look at though! It has a bold floral lace at the top of the cups and along the straps. The fabric is soft with velvet polka dots.
This is my first moulded t-shirt bra, and I'm in love! The shape is spot on and the band feels firm, but not too tight. Definitely not as stretchy as my other curvy kate's. The padding is minimal, which I'm happy about. I am full on bottom and had no issues with gaping at the top of the cup. I haven't tried the deco yet, so I can't say how they compare, but if you're looking for a good t-shirt bra, I would recommend this one.
This is my ahh bra! I love this bra. The fabric is nice and soft. It's very comfortable. I think it's a tad too small in the cups but I don't care because this bra rocks! It's got some serious lower cup depth going on and low wires on the side which is a nice relief compared to the high side bras I have. The wires are narrow enough for me and not too wide at all. I've hear Curvy Kate has wide wires but not in The Princess and the Portia.
The fits do show through a tank top and t shirt combo but again not a problem for me because I really don't mind seams and outlines showing through. I gotta be comfy and this bra does it for me https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
few months later it became too loose so I don't wear it anymore
