Okay, so this isn't a perfect fit because the band is super stretchy. However, I totally knew that going in, so it's not a problem (and I have a Rixie Clip). Fits great in the cups as I expected because it's the same size cup as my 28HH (though it is a few centimeters taller on my boobs). I knew I'd love this bra when I saw it because I totally love my red one. It does separate my boobs a bit more than I'd like, but that is also not a big deal.
My soft breast tissue allows me to fill pretty much whatever shape the bra ...is, so this works just fine. At some point I might attempt the same adjustment to it as I did with the red one (where I brought the cups closer together), but for now it's good. I was a bit surprised at the metal detailing on the straps (just because the red one doesn't have the same), but it doesn't bother me. I think it might make the straps sturdier or something. Anyway, I like this bra quite a bit. The blue color really is lovely.
Remember, if you're looking at this bra, it runs a cup size smaller than normal. I'm a 28H/30GG (underbust is currently 29" so I mostly wear 30GGs on the middle or tightest hooks), but take a 28HH/30H in the Tease Me. Read more 128 more words
I wrote a review on my blog when I was around a 30KK in most bras, and at that time I found the Pebble to be a fairly good fit, though slightly small in the cups (not a big problem considering swimsuits tend to have a bit more give when wet). At the moment (May 2014) I've gone down slightly in size, so the Pebble is now pretty spot on in size. As with all bras, I'd prefer the gore to be slightly narrower and shorter, as I'm quite close-set, but it doesn't pose a huge problem. I find the construction of this bra much better than most CK bras - the band is true-to-size and deeper than the previous bikinis, the wires are average to narrow, cups average to deep, it is upfront and centre, nice uplifted shape, and the sides are low enough to not irritate around my arms. It's also very supportive and comfortable, with a gorgeous appearance to boot. All in all I am a big fan of this bikini!
That settles the matter - my breasts are definitely FoB. The cup is too small for my larger breast (gives odd angular shape), but the fabric at the top is quite loose. The cup is perfect for the smaller breast (still with loose fabric at the top). The gore was digging in because it's high, but pushing the wires along the channel helped a lot and also helped the fit a little. Despite the issues, I will probably keep this bra. The fit problems are not obvious under clothing - MUCH less obvious than the problems with the Deco plunge. Also it is my first and (right now) only unlined bra. But I would not repurchase it or recommend it to someone who is FoB.
ETA: After wearing this three times, I already have it on the middle hooks (and it is still riding up a bit). So if you're buying this bra, you might want to size down in the band if possible.
This bra fit me very well volume wise. I just seem to have a shape incompatibility. I have a problem with the wires being too wide. The wires are flexible so they get a bit wider when the bra is on. I also get a little pucker near the diagonal seam of the cup (freya pucker) because I think the straps are a bit too wide set for me . It is a very soft and comfortable bra. I am pretty full on top and on the bottom as well and I don't get enough immediate projection from the center gore or the bottom of the cups.
I wanted this tankini to fit so badly since I ordered from the UK and wouldn't be able to exchange it or return it without additional expense. I typically wear a 28J in Panache and read up on the cut of this tankini to determine which size to buy. All reviews mentioned the smaller cup volume so I went up two cup sizes. Unfortunately the band was exceptionally tight and one of my breasts spilled out over the top of the cup and my breast couldn't fill the very bottom of the cup. I would probably fit better in a 30K in this particular tankini. I was also not pleased with how low the front of the tankini was cut as you can see the top of the stark white gore out of the bathing suit and I feel like the gore was relatively low. I will be sending this tankini back and have chosen not to try a larger size as I worry the front will cut down far too low for me.
The underwires and cups were finally wide enough, and although it worked in general for shallow breasts, the upper cup was still not filled out completely.
Works very well as a t-shirt bra, doesn't show under thin, tight shirts. Leopard print is fun, but the bra's appearance is quite similar to any basic moulded bra. I liked it when I bought it (the second bra ever that was close to my correct size!) but I think now that I have seen and tried more bras I demand more when it comes to their aesthetics.
I found the bra's material to be overall somewhat stiff and uncomfortable. Or maybe the shape just weren't for me? Wires were too wide so it didn't give me the best possible shape. The band was too big on the loosest setting but worked on the tightest. I found the straps to be unnecessary wide for my size.
The initial try on was a little tight - while the band was comfortable I had a lot of excess fat under my sternum sort of bow back out noticeably under a tank top which wasn't the best look ever. After a single wear, it fits much better - still fat poking on my upper stomach, but the band is comfortable (light years better than my old 34s). The gore sits nice and flat and I feel the band supports my chest the way that it should.
The straps are a little too far apart for me. I feel like I keep adjusting them to sit ...more like a halter or a cross-back so I am certain I am not using them right. Not a big deal, just a minor issue.
I prefer moulded cups usually, so the soft cups of this is something to get used to. Not sure how I feel about my nipples being totally visible when I walk around in a bra and jeans. However, I love the neutral color of this bra, as it goes with both nude and black colored undies. Read more 83 more words
I think I've decided that Curvy Kate bras just don't work for me, and this bra is no exception. It's absolutely beautiful, but everything about it is all wrong for my breasts/body shape. The straps are too wide-set for me, and I started having horrible back pain after only fifteen minutes of wearing the bra. I have broad shoulders too (though they are sloping), so this was somewhat surprising. The cups fit well, though they do not provide much lift for my breasts, and I'm not crazy about the shape. It might be a good bra for others, but it definitely doesn't work for me.
I was hoping that this bra was similar to the Showgirls which it visually resembles, but the structure/shape is quite different. This did not give me the rounded purple shape I associate with the Showgirls. It runs more true to size as it is less shallow. My regular cup size was fine, and I probably would have happier to sister size up one band size (to my regular Panache band size).
The gore did not tack on me; I think the wires were too soft. When I pressed the gore flat I got the tiniest bit of overspill on my larger breast, and plenty of gaping on the smaller side. The bra was visible under shirts.
This bra fits well and is really comfortable! I feel like it gives a rounded shape on me. It does wrinkle a tiny bit at the bottom of the cups, I'm not quite sure why, but it doesn't really bother me. Sometimes the lace pattern on the top of the cup shows through knit t-shirts.
I love the 34HH - Curvy Kate » Gia (CK2101) It's a beautiful bra that's well made and very pretty. Unfortunately, this bra doesn't work well with my natural shape. It has a very natural shape, while I prefer a much more lifted, rounder shape. The low shape of the Gia doesn't work with my full-on-top breasts and gives me quad-boob. Some of my issues with this bra may be due to size. I think I may have needed this bra in a 34J to begin with.
I wish this bra had worked for me because I really do love it. I just need a bra that has more of a round shape.
Gorgeous bra, but unfortunately it's just not for me. The wires are super high under my armpits, I can't fill the bottom of the cup, the cups are waaaaayyy too wide for my shape. The overall fit is quite awkward, I feel that it squishes my boobs against my ribcage and makes my body look much bulkier than it is.
The band is super comfortable though (if a bit loose for me, even with it being a 28), the fabric and construction are superb and don't even get me started on the look: it's one of the most beautiful bras I have ever owned. I own this bra in a gorgeous lavender color. I mean, the bra is so pretty it took me forever to accept that I should let it go, even though I have worn it only a couple of times. Oh well https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
I'd like to start by saying that this bra is GORGEOUS. The beautiful raspberry color stole my heart, and I love the subtle leopard print. The band isn't quite as generous as the Princess, and I found the 32 to be sufficient. I don't know if I'd recommend sizing down for this one. The biggest problems I found with this bra were the cup depth, the wire height and the wire width. I have narrow roots with a pretty good amount of projection, and there was a lot of space on the bottom for me that could just not be filled. The wing height wasn't too bad, and it didn't ...stab me or anything but it did come up rather high and on someone shorter than me (I'm 5'4") that would probably be a problem. And as I mentioned, my breasts are pretty narrow so my boobs would fall right into the wires after scooping and swooping. However, someone with rider roots than I would probably like the width. This bra did give me a good, rounded shape (just what I'd expect of a molded bra) and someone with wider breasts than I (and an appreciation for subtle leopard print!) would probably love this. I got this bra in a swap from littlegirllies, and it's amazing. It's comfortable, pretty, and it fits. I think this could easily become my new favorite bra (although I have 2 Elomis ordered and on the way, so don't hold me to that.)
The only issue I've seen so far, is that even though the bottom of the cup is filled out, it still wrinkles. If I press on the bottom of the cup with my thumb, there's a spot about 3/4" above the underwire in the center of the cup that refuses to budge. Whenever I put pressure on it, it seems to want to fold in rather than fill out. So that seems like a design issue, but definitely not a dealbreaker!
This is probably at least 2 sizes too small, but the cup edge doesn't cut in. I found it quite comfortable until I put on a bit of weight recently and now it's a bit tight in the band. Bizarrely I also own this in a 32FF which fits about the same. One size up only sits further back under my armpits and higher on my breast. Cup is quite shallow, I think I suffer from 'orange-in-a-glass' syndrome in this bra (and many others), I cannot fill the bottom and the bra sort of flops over at the empty bit.
I measure 26FF, bought this in 28FF cause I heard the cups run small. Sadly, I would've been better off with a 28G, and/or it's too shallow for me. The cups are REALLY shallow. I love how this bra looks, and if the cups were a little bigger/deeper it'd be perfect.
did you think to go down a size? i believe it runs big in the cups and i am 30hh and the wires are near to my armpit the size down resolve this
