I went up from 30F to 30FF because I was getting quad-boob. As I feared, this is a slightly worse fit overall than the smaller size due to the wider wires (which I didn't need) and apparent lack of any additional depth (which I did need). I'm getting some gapping/wrinkling in the bottom and outer sides while still getting quad-boob on my larger breast in the upper middle after swooping and scooping. I can get it to look good for about five minutes, but if I move/shake it goes back to bad. Time to give up on this model! Too bad, it was almost, almost, almost right.
The wire were too wide for me. I'm still trying to figure this whole bra size thing out, but I'm sure that the size was correct, just the make of this bra was not. Too bad because it's so pretty. If you have average to wide roots, this is your girl!
While some 30FFs (a cupsize down from my preferred 30G) work *okay* for me, this one definitely does NOT. It's designed for a much shallower breast than mine. It has very little projection. I like that the gore is so low for anything I need a mega-plunge bra for, but my breasts are just falling out of the top. I'm not sure if the shape is just really awful or if it runs really small in the cup compared to other 30FFs I've tried.
I really like the look of this bra, but I don't really have the upper fullness to make it work. The wires are wide enough for me, and the cup has good immediate projection to accommodate my lower fullness, but the top lace section wrinkles badly and so gives me an odd shape.
I found the band in this bra quite stretchy; my 32E stretched out so quickly I'm already on the last hooks to feel comfortably supported.
This bra didn't fit me in this size - it was probably a cup size or so too small. I don't like the model enough to try it in a cup size up.
Pros:
Cute bedroom bra, though I didn’t like the gold color in person as much as the stock photos Wide at the bottom straps – seems pretty secure Seems like it would give good shape if it fit
Cons:
Runs quite small Long wires Stretchy straps Very shallow
I do love this bra, but it gave me the oddest shape under clothes before I altered it by taking in the gore at the bottom, which tilted the cups. There was a curve at the bottom, a long, flat area that almost veered back in from the middle to the top, at the top edge it spilled over the edge a bit then curved back again. As this bra is too small (the black/gold colourway is muuuch smaller than the blue/ivory that I also own in 30G), it still gives major cakes on a plate cleavage, but is not as weird a shape anymore.
This is such a beautiful bra, but I think it's just not meant for my boobs. Based on reviews I sized down in the band and up in the cup (from my regular 32E to a 30FF, and I really do think this is the right size for me but the shape just doesn't work. I'm usually wary of plunges because I have soft breasts, but I wanted to try this one because I read that its good for shallow breasts. It IS shallow, and part of the fit problems I'm having might be because its a bit too shallow but mostly I think this isn't working because ...the cups are too far apart for me. If I just hold the cup up to my boob in encloses all of my breasttissue. When I'm wearing the bra, though, I have empty space on the sides of the cups and quadboob in the middle (a problem that's made worse by my soft breasts.
Other than person fit, this is a great bra. The blue with the black lace is gorgeous, and the inside lining is super soft. Also, the wider straps are great. Only real quality complaint is that the buttons on gore don't seem to be as secure as the could be. Read more 104 more words
I find this bra to be very comfortable. The high gore doesn't dig in at all, and the straps sit at a pretty good spot so as not to cause rubbing in the armpits. The interior is quite soft.
I got this bra in my 'normal' Curvy Kate size, which is a cup size up from my 'regular' size. It's a bit shallow, and doesn't give an outward projecting profile. It sort of pushes the breasts towards the collarbone, instead.
I love the way the bra looks, too. The lace on the top and bottom of the cups is thicker than lace that I had on Victoria's Secret bras, but not visible through clothes (unless it was something very sheer or lightweight). Overall it is very pretty and a good fit.
This bra is beautiful! The only minor appearance problem I have with it is that the buttons on the gore seem a little flimsy. This is one of my more comfortable bras, but unfortunately my breasts don't stay in the cups if I move too much and I start quadding. There's also some wrinkling at the bottom of the cups
This is a stunning looking bra. The lace and satin detailing is divine and I especially love the detailing on the straps while still keeping them almost fully adjustable. The wide attachment to the cups is both attractive and extra supportive. Their width of the straps is another feature I especially love. It doesn't give Freya Deco-like cleavage, think Marie Antoinette, but the pretty old-hollywood-like design complete with lace, satin and little bows definitely makes up for it. Unfortunately, the sizing does not work for me. The cups aren't deep enough and the center gore is too high, separating the cups too much. I therefore have quad boob. ...A cup size up would probably fix this. On the tightest hook, the band actually fits quite well, however due to the cup size the cups fit better on the loose hook. The shape is nice from front on, however side on it is atrocious. Again, I hope a size up would fix this as this is not the case with my 30F Tease Me bra. It definitely runs small in comparison (I'd say about 2 cup sizes smaller), the band is tighter though. Read more 84 more words
A very pretty bra! The band fits perfectly on the loosest hook. The bra is made of satin with lace around the top of the cups. The satin is soft and not so shiny (which is good!) and the lace is much prettier in person than it looks in pictures. It is pretty thick though, so likely to show through thin shirts.
The back of the cup is cotton and is very soft and comfortable. The support around the cups is good. They are a little too far apart to give me cleavage where my breasts are pressing together, but they bra does give a nice shape.
This is ...a plunge bra, and I went up a cup size because there are a lot of reviews saying that it runs small. I think it fits pretty well - it squashes my breasts down slightly at the edge, but I wouldn't say that it's causing 'quad boob'. It's pretty stiff right now, and I think that if I had gotten a larger size it would gape as it got looser with wear and washing. As it is now, I don't feel like anything is going to slip out the front when I bend over or move, and it feels pretty supportive. It's actually extremely comfortable, and I don't feel the need to adjust anything when I'm wearing it. Read more 119 more words
I love, love, love this bra. I was sort of torn about whether or not to get it when I first saw it on brastop (not sure that leopard is my thing, but red is my favourite colour), but I saw it in a store locally (not in my size) and thought it looked sooo pretty I wanted one. The colours are so complimentary - the lace is sort of a golden colour.
This bra fits similar to the Curvy Kate Elegance (CK1401) . I think that the band might be looser, or if not looser, maybe stretchier? I can do this one up on the ...second hook, my Elegance fits best on the loosest. The band feels firm there, but not uncomfortable as it stretches. I'm hoping it won't stretch out too quickly.
This bra does a good job of pushing up, and gives a rather perky profile (rounded, but not so much top-to-bottom rounded like a Freya Deco (4234) . It is a plunge bra, but I don't feel like I'm going to fall into the middle at all.
Also this bra is soooo comfortable. Much more comfortable than it looks like it should be. The inside of the cups is made from a soft material, and the cups are 3 part seamed with a thin layer of foam. The lace isn't so visible under most shirts.
I liked it so much I also bought the matching underpants! Read more 134 more words
I bought this bra in 2 colours- black and ivory. I didn't find that there was a fit difference between the colours, both black and ivory fit very much the same. I wrote a longer review for the black one, and I don't know if it would be useful for people to have a second review stating the same things here for the ivory.
