I can actually only get this band to stretch 2 inches (to 26") before the stretch is coming from the underwires flexing, making the whole thing wider and then it cuts in even worse (I took the ribbon out of the top edge to try relieving this, which helped a little but did not make it wearable). I had this in 30GG, but it's too high and wide under the arms to even wear it for a fit assessment - feels like it's sawing my arms off. Also, the flocked polka dots show through everything.
The Tease Me is hands down the prettiest bra I own! With that being said, it does have some minor issues. First of all, WHY ARE THERE RIBBONS AT THE ARM PITS. My armpits don't need to be decorated, thank you. Definitely will be snipping these off, seeing as they show through clothing and serve no real purpose. On a similar note, if you're petite, do keep in mind that the straps are fairly wide set. I'm 5'0" and my shoulders are only about 15" across, so I have learned to accept that correctly fitting bras will always have wide set straps in comparison to my body. It's ...a minor discomfort, but I just don't think that bras in my size are made with a petite frame in mind.
My ribcage is about 31.5", and normally I wear a 32FF in Panache/Cleo, and 30G in Freya. I was told that Curvy Kate bras run large in the band, so I sized down to my sister size, 30G. The band is perfect on the loosest hook for now, although I'm actually thinking that I might have been able to squeeze into a 28GG, even if I may have needed an extender. As for shape: the lift is AWESOME. Definitely more lift/cleavage than the Freya Deco (4234) , although it doesn't seem to center the boobs as much. And, you should be able to tell by the appearance, but you can't wear this under a t-shirt because... pretty ribbons and lace. Also, I do have to note that this is the SOFTEST bra I have. seriously, the molding isn't as stiff as the Deco, and is so, so comfortable! Very well made.
TL;DR: Hot bra, great cleavage, size down in band to sister size, ribbons at arm pits, wide set straps if you're a small adult, soft and smooth cups, well made. Read more 203 more words
I just can't do unpadded. It's really pretty, the only problem is really that it digs into my armpits. Not too badly, though. Size was pretty good. A bit big on me, but I kind of expected it to be.
This is one of the few bras that I've found with wide enough wires to encompass all of my breast tissue without having either quadboob or not being able to fill up the top of the cup. The band is a little loose, but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be able to go down a size without extreme discomfort. I find the straps to be a little bit too wide for my frame though, and I wonder if this is because of the wider wires. I have yet to wash this bra so I am hoping that the straps soften a little after a wash or two.
I finally found a Curvy Kate bra that fits! After many trials and errors, through some combination of style, size, and alignment of the planets, a 30G Thrill Me does the trick. The band is snug and comfortable, the cups fully encase all tissue without any cutting in or spillage in unwanted areas. I get good lift, yet not a ridiculous amount of cleavage thanks to the high center gore. I am personally a fan of this type of lift-and-separate look, the squished-together look of plunge cleavage. Plus, since I have more malleable breast tissue, it means there is less settling towards the ...center of the bra and everybody says in their separate corners. Shape-wise, it's round enough, almost bordering on a slightly square shape, definitely not pointy or particularly natural, which could be good or not depending on your needs. This is definitely a good bra to have in my arsenal, and I'm glad to have finally found a CK bra that fits.
This Thrill Me happens to come in the delightful turquoise and pink colorway, which reminds me of summer and fruity beverages with little umbrellas. In fact, come summer, I am excited for this bra to show over the top of my camisoles with its frilly mesh ruffle and bright pink embroidery. This detail makes it a little less practical to wear under thinner shirts where you don't want a bra to be apparent, but it's also easily hidden under an extra camisole if need be. This bra is a pretty in person as it is in photos, but unfortunately the mesh overlay is not tightly sewn over the the cups, and there is some loose material on the lower half of the cups. It's not really visible under clothing, but it annoys me a bit. It fits very similarly to the Tease Me bra, and gives me great lift.
I went for the advice of reviewers on retail sites and ordered up a cup size with this one. When I got it in the mail I looked at the cups and thought "Those cups are way too big," but they fit! This is the most comfortable bra I have at this point. Everything about it makes me happy. I ordered a second one when they went on sale.
I'm torn: I want to cut off the ruffle edge so it doesn't show up so bumpy under my clothes, but it's really cute and I don't want to mess that up.
As soon as I took it out of the box I knew the cups were too large at the top, but under a t-shirt it didn't matter. I wore this bra for one day and it served me well. The band and straps were comfortable. The gore and underwire on my sternum got on my nerves after several hours. Aside from that (and the nagging feeling of the cups being empty at the top), this is very nice bra. I wish I had ordered the proper size!
When I was fitted, this bra made me look fantastic! And after a short period, my neck felt so much better. I had recently gained a lot of breast after gaining weight from quitting smoking, and this was the first thing that was not prescription that helped. After wearing to work for 9 hours, and not used to EVER wearing the proper size, my underwire hurt the next day. I think it was probably due to bras not sitting there, ever. I had no rash or bruising or anything, so I guess I just need to get used to proper fitting. The gore lays flat and the support ...is awesome.
My ribcage measures at just around 32 but the fitter put me in a 30 (which I hear is common with Curvy Kate) and I got an extender for a better fit.
My only issue is the lace bit. My nipples got so itchy after so many hours of wear, probably another thing I am not used to (every other bra I had was moulded cups), so I might want to get nipple covers. And not being used to soft cups... oh my! it is something to get used to!
But OH MY! IS is ever freaking adorable! Read more 98 more words
On me Princess is the Curvy Kate bra that is itchy, I've never had the same problem with other bras from them, so you might have more luck with other styles. Look at the same-cut bras and you might find a new favourite bra too. :)
The band around the ribcage was extremely comfortable--snug, but I don't even feel it. However, the cup isn't tight enough on top and the shape isn't round enough, but I overestimated when ordering, so that's my fault.
I didn't like the sides at all. Even before adjusting the straps, they dug into my sides, and it was unbearable after I shortened the straps to where I needed them to be.
This is a lovely bra, but it just doesn't fit. I am trying to get close to my correct size but it is difficult because I have gone through a weight loss and unexpected growth spurt in my breasts. It would be perfect if the cup was a few sizes bigger and the band smaller. The only way to wear this bra would be on the tightest hook and tighten the straps as much as possible.
Unfortunately, I was so excited when the bra came in the mail I cut off the tags and tried it on. So I can't exchange it for another size. I wore it only once because I found I had an unflattering quadboob after a few hours.
I like that I finally found a bra that fits correctly. The material can be uncomfortable after awhile. The band stretches out a bit after wear. It's a good everyday bra and it's cute on.
(This is the same review as for the CK Tempt Me in black/gold that I own.)
I like the look/style of this bra a lot and its general fit. However, I could definitely go up one cup size. The band is tight but comfortable and I'd be concerned about the stress on the band if I'd go down one band size. My left breast is slightly too big for the cup, whereas my right one seems pretty content and doesn't create a quadroboob as easily. The underwires are pretty much perfect and the bra creates a very nice, round shape,
One thing I'm concerned about is this slight horizontal fold in the lower part of the cup. I have seen this fold in other's pictures, but I don't know whether this is just the style of the bra or a fitting issue.

This bra fits oddly on me. Because of the ribbon along the top of the cup, it cuts into the breast tissue, yet I also get slightly wrinkling in the cups. It also just doesn't give a good shape on me--it pushes the tips of the breasts downward rather than giving an uplifted look. Wires run a bit wider than on the CK Emily and Princess.
This is strange, but I have a question about the Halfek Milosc (65GG). Do you still have it? If so, since it doesn't fit you, are you willing to sell?
Yes, I would be willing to sell it, as long as I'd be shipping within the US or Canada. I haven't figured out how PMs work on Bratabase, but I'll try to put it on the for sale list within a day or so.
Oh fabulous, thank you! (And yeah, I'm in Oregon.) As for PMs, try going to Inbox -> New Message, then typing NeverTookHomeEc in the recipient field.
This is my first Thrill me bra and for me, it is more comfortable than the Tease me, because the straps are in the right position (not too much at the border). I own this bra in the colour cobalt/fuchsia and the band is way too stretchy, I would need a 30 but here, a 28 will be ok ( I wonder what women do, who need 28 in general https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_confused.gif" alt=":S" /> ). So I will send it back and won't keep it.
