Really beautiful, striking colourway. The pink is a bright raspberry hue but appears warmer toned in my pictures. The purple is a light indigo. Shape is More open on top with good immediate projection all along the wire. supremely soft 100% cotton inner cups and cookie pockets. Cups lightly padded with total flexibility that comforms to your shape. Cups a little too short for my breast root height so I’m not as supported as I like to be.
Band on the stretchier side, it goes to 28”, so too loose for me. Wires more flexible, wide, and low in height. Inner band fabric is so soft. I could sleep in this bra; it’s that comfy!
It's one of my favorites! I'm so jealous your wire casings are in purple. Mine were on the S style I had but on the M I ordered they're plain. I found this to be stretchy too, which is originally why I reordered it in the M.
Gorgeous. Love the unusual colour combo.
Sigh. Darn those short cups!
Giggle. It so interesting how we each need something different. Thank humans, we have options!
The M cups definitely are lower coverage than the regular plunges. Unfortunately, regular plunges are harder to find in small bands.
This bra is boob heaven! I was afraid the laminate fabric would be itchy or stiff but it is very soft. I sized down one cup size as is generally advised in the BMS and it fits perfectly. I love the low gore, narrow wires and wire lengths in this size and if I could combine them with the depth of a 65FF (for padded styles) life would be good.
Pros: Very soft, perfect fit. The wings and gore are low and out of my way. The stretch tulle at the top accommodates fullness without cutting in. The pattern goes all the way around to the back of the bra which is nice. It's also a leotard back which are my favourites. The pattern is less garish/tacky in person and the shape this bra gives is great.
Cons: The straps are rather wide-set. I don't think they'll rub but this is always my biggest gripe with Ewa. Just move the straps in!
Looks great! The SF bras also have that stretch tulle on the top part of the cup and I can't stress how much I love it! I like stretch lace and it makes a bra very pretty, but for thin, fitted tops, the tulle wins, hands down! I'm debating on ordering this one, but I want to see if EM comes out with any new styles with the stretch tulle soon.
Gorgeous on you...again. E.M. fits you SO well!!
That tulle was the only reason I agreed to try out this bra. I heard somewhere Ewa was thinking about releasing new SF colours so I hope that's true since I'd love to try an SF after trying this one.
Love4Pollinators Aw thanks! I'm so glad Ewa fits so well. I hate the wait but I wore my Freya bra the other day and it actually bruised! Ewa's bras always treat me right.
I have both the beige and the black SFs (only reviewed the beige so far because I'm lazy and haven't felt like measuring and taking pics lately) and they are the two bras I wear the most. I'm looking forward to new, cuter SFs, if Ewa makes them!
I really hope she does. All I want in my life now is the BM (okay maybe not *all*) but I need some bras that will hide under thin shirts and lace usually doesn't.
I agree is so smooth and comfy. I love mine as well! But you should try band 70 so you can eliminate the wide set of straps that's caused by the extender. I have my bm szmaragd in 70 that has almost perfect straps and in 65 where I need 1 set of hooks the straps are wider and it doesn't look good under tanktop like in 70 :) But also I'm surprised that you could size down full size, for me I use my usual size and what's more I get tiny (or noticeable in szmaragd) quadboob . I wonder if I'm the only one who doesn't size down in bm (but size up :)
Btw I agree pants run big, I bought 38 but they're way too loose on my butt so never wore them. I need to get 36 and same in myszka pants, the 38 is wrinkling :/
martka00 I don't size down in the BM eather! :D I also agree about the 70 band and the straps! (I find my BM Mojito to be quite wide in the 65, but the band doesn't strech a lot so I can wear it on the second of 4 hooks. I find I can wear it looser then Comexim or englisch Bras! So I think it's wearth a try gratiat ! :) )
I don't size down in BM either.
I assume she means sizing down compared to the padded models, which I do. However, I also bought the SF in my unpadded size, and the cups are slightly small on me. It is a great, secure fit on my smaller days tho.
I have to say this is another case where the bra looks prettier in your pics than in the ones on Ewa's website! Lovely!!
I have 2 bms that really fit, one is shiny knitwear and the other is the lace-over-tulle, and I like the lace one better. I guess my shirts arent thin enough for me to notice it showing through, but it seems to fit me better.
of course, ewa's bras seem to be so inconsistent anyways
I would be a 70 band to hopefully fix the strap issue but I'm afraid of it being too big. I did try one that stretched to 31 inches and it was far too shifty. And yes, I should have clarified. I did size down from my padded size by one cup. I'd say I stuck with my regular UK size but I have no idea what that is anymore.
Shifty as in it actually rode up your back? Even on the tightest hooks? Given how the 65s fit you, I honestly don't see that as being possible.
Once again, I will reiterate - I think a 70 band would improve the fit of all of your bras drastically. They all look stressed/distorted and the straps are all too wide. The one 70 band you tried and posted a review of fit you fabulously and you had it hooked on the loosest set of hooks. However, it's your choice and you seem to be absolutely stuck on wearing 65s, so I'm done recommending it.
lcl0706 Thanks for the advice. The 70 band did ride up. I didn't try it on the loosest hooks though. I'm not sure what to do. I love a super firm band and my comfortable measure is a 29.5 (and 28 btt) and I think some people recommend sizing up if you're that close to a band size. I think I'll take your advice but this time try a newer bra instead of one that's been worn and see if that works. I think 30 would actually be my ideal stretch but Ewa's bras run more tight then true to size so maybe I can find a 32 that runs tighter and see if that works.
gratiat no offence dear, but I can't believe that band 70 was riding up on you (unless you tightened the straps to extreme so they moved the band). I'm 28.5" comfortable and 27.3" very tight and sometimes I wear band 75 in Ewa on the last hook and riding up never occurred unless the bra was used like a floor cloth where the band was stretch out.. Buying too tight bands and using them with extender and hoping they will stretch out is not worth when you're paying that high amount of money. The bra gets destroyed much quicker. It's better to get little looser band and close it on 2nd or 3rd hook as this will last longer for sure that bra with stretched band :) And as I mentioned before the strap placement will be also better (I did experience it with few bras). Hope your next order will be perfect *_*
martka00 Thanks! I think I will try a 70 band next. I prefer my bands as tight as possible but we'll see how the 70 band fits. My only issue is that while I'm sure I'll be technically better off in a slightly looser band I have one that I wear that stretches to 31 inches and I'm aware of that throughout the day and it's super irritating. Without an extender I can comfortably pull this band out a few inches/stick my whole fist under the band. If I could order a 65 that ran true to size/maybe a smidge over I think that would be perfect but so far most of mine have either ran snug or past tts. It's the most frustrating part of ordering!
I think you should just get used to them and forget about - well is much easier to forget when you can't feel the band ! :D for me, if I have little too tigh band it just drives me crazy! Especially when is hot, I feels like the band will cut my skin at some point (I had this feeling with some gossard bras even if they're too loose o_0) Btw there's really inconsistency with the bands recently.. Some of my 70 were tts, some like 65 and some like proper 75.. It's hard to predict and you have to try first to see how the size will fit you and if you should size up or down. But granny's courtains definitely is more snug that my other EMs (but not as bad as chaberek) And actually, that's annoying that the bra runs tight and pants loose!
martka00 All the inconsistency is really annoying. My 65FF PL I received with this one has a perfect band and is so comfortable I forget I'm wearing it. This one almost disappears too. I just need to figure out when to size up and when to keep the 65-I think those models with lace on the bands run looser due to experience so I can keep a 65 band in them but those who have knitwear/firm fabric bands I should size up.
interesting but it doesnt work in my case, I have CHP stalowka and Owoce lesne - theres no lace and theyre loosest 70dd I own, then, chaberek had lace and was freaky tight. The two 70E that I have (and dont use-_-) are really lovely bands 70 that are perfect and theres no lace on them, so its just the fabric used at the time and maybe how they cut it. whatever. we still love them!
I think what you find irritating about 70 bands is they don't squeeze you as tight as the 65s do and you aren't used to how a properly fitting band is supposed to feel. As martka said... no offense here but I can't believe a 70 band was riding up on you, either. It may have felt "shifty" when compared to the supertight 65s, but actually riding up your shoulder blades and compromising support - no.
Bras aren't meant to be worn as tight as you can get away with, that's why nobody recommends buying the same band size as your BTT underbust measurement. The 2 finger/fist/pull away from your body test isn't reliable. I have a 26.5/25.5 underbust at the moment and can fit 2 fingers under a 26 band and still pull it away from my body. That doesn't mean the 26 band is the best fit for me or that I need all that extra band tightness for support. I don't. You don't either. You need the loosest band that provides enough support. The cups of a 70 band will fit you much better because they won't be distorted. Honestly from your pictures of this bra I think it looks too small. I don't think it IS too small in the cups, I think the cups are being pulled sideways from the band being stretched so much and it's making it sit on your body wrong.
As far as what your UK size would be, since you said you had no idea, I'd say 32F.
I've had this bra for some time, but didn't even remove the tags until summer started. I originally had this bra in a 3DM. While that was alright for a bit, it's not a good cut for my shape so I replaced it with my beloved SM.
This bra is a great nude color for me. When I have my summer tan, it disappears against my skin. Combined with the bottoms, it looks like I'm just wearing a strappy black thing. It's very sexy and I love it.
This is the same as my other SM bras, there is nothing that sets it apart in terms of fit.
The band is true ...to EM's 65, that is a bit small. Cups are narrow and projected. Straps are fully adjustable, thick, and not stretchy. Wires are in line with my root and not too high. Cup height is fine. Shape is up and round, to the front, with a subtle peak.
Loving this bra so far!!!! Good fit sure if it would fit because I'm in-between a 65F/FF according to measurements for other EM bra styles. Nice low cut and low gore but almost wish it was a little higher as I feel like I might spillout. Otherwise it's a great bra. And the pink isn't as neon as I thought it would be!!! Only complaint is the straps are difficult to adjust because they have decorative stuff down the middle rather then the sides like other bras.
Looks great! I'm waiting on mine to arrive any day now.
Another beauty!!
Omg. I have this bra, and the strap thing was the first thing I noticed. It's so hard to adjust them!
One tip I've found is to get a rat tail comb or something similar. Wiggle the loop up so that you have a loose top loop and then it's much easier to zip it along that way then trying to nudge it. I hope that makes sense to everyone.
This bra is so much prettier in person. I was a little nervous about the flowers but it's so much better in person! The only thing is one cup fits differently than the other. Or at least that's how it looks. Not enough for a fit check but will check both cups measurements once I take it off LOL
remember, you can always put a pad in one side and not the other, if things are uneven
This is with pads in so maybe I need to remove the pad on that side.
you can even put 2 in one side - since one looks sorta loose
That print! Looks great on you and I always use a pad for asymmetry and love that EM includes them with her bras.
I had the same problem with my CHP Opium as well. Something about it must just highlight asymmetry (since I've never had an issue in any of my other bras before).
omg, mine did this as well! I measured and one strap was .5" further away from the gore. I had to get rid of it because EMs are already having too wide set straps for me lol
OMG!!!! I was so nervous about this bra!!! I'd seen reviews about it being a cup bigger than it should be but I took a leap and tried it in my size anyway. It's fits and I feel so good in it!!!! Still trying to get the top straps figured out for how tight I want them but overall I'm in love!!!
I bought from another user thinking it would be similar to the PL cut but its a little different. My natural breast shape is like an upside down 7, not quite as pointy but that general shape. With this bra I get more a natural shape while with my PLs it more a smushed round shape. There is more space at the wire then the PLs which is good for my immediate depth. The apex is higher then mine and it kinda points upward. It looks better under loose fitting shirts. I am still able to fill the apex because the cups are slightly too small. I could go up a size but then it would be more coverage then I like. With the inserts I quad out of the cups. Is style the same a the M style?
Frankly, this is a little bit too big for me. A little too high on the side, the cups are a little tall. I don't quite fill out the top on most days. However, this is a great bra for me for a few days a month when my 65Es are feeling a little too small. I fill out the cups nicely at that point and no gaping for me.
All that aside, the shape is still really nice. Up front, lifted, and round. Even when it's not quite a great fit it still gives a lovely appearance.
The band is nice and snug. Very comfortable right now on ...the loosest of three eyes. The straps are only half-adjustable :/. But, the front of them are not very stretchy and they don't really dig into me, so I do appreciate that. They're nice and thick and the sliders stay in place well. The wires are a bit high on the side, but they stay in place and they don't poke anything, so I find them comfortable.
The color is a great shade of gray. The pictures online really don't convey the hue very well, it always looks more purple or blue than it is. Those undertones are certainly present, but in reality it is absolutely unmistakably gray. And gray is beautiful.
The underwear are a 36. Nice and soft, they're a comfortable rise and don't migrate when wearing. They're slightly stretchier than the bra band, but they hold their shape well. They're not line-less, so skirts and dresses only. Read more 146 more words
I just want to say - I am so envious! I have wanted a plain grey bra for so long (lcl0706 knows what I'm talking about hehe). Where did you come upon it? :o It is gorgeous!
how thick is the padding on the chp?
Not any thicker than a Comexim plunge or half cup, or if so just a little tiny bit thicker. Nothing like the Deco's boob armor.
kerniss yessss, I want a gray bra so much. I loooove this bra. jlcl119 if you ever decide it's just too big, you know where to send it!! ;-)
kerniss It was part of an ebay lot a month or so ago. It was the only bra I had to buy four others to get it! I was thinking about buying a Comexim Snow and dying that gray, I bet that would look really n ice, especially if some of the stitching stays white.
newhere The CHP is about the same as Comexim. More lined than padded, really. The newer CH/CHPs have pockets for asymmetry correcting pads that give excellent Oomph if you want it.
lcl0706 You know it's yours if it ever needs a new home :)
This bra is super duper gorgeous! More so in real life than in the photographs. I had thought originally this colour would only look good on pale skin, but it actually flatters my somewhat tanned skin very well. I love blues, I would say the shade is like cyan to sky blue in real life. The lace is very colourful as well. I went ahead and decided to try this in a cup size up to what I had normally taken in the 3D cuts, and I'm glad I did. Ewa has been making her 3D's more closed on top lately to ...suit more even/FoB shapes (65E - Ewa Michalak » 3d Paris Paris (622) was much too closed on top for me), so sizing up helps the upper section of the cups to fit my boob shape better. The main difference I see is that the 65F cups are about half an inch taller than the 65E's, with more depth across the seams, and slightly wider cups (almost half an inch as well). The gore is pretty close and short, which is perfect on me because my roots touch. I get subtle cleavage in this size, but it is overall very comfortable in the construction. The band on this bra runs tight, but not extremely tight. For a 30 band, it stretches to 28 inches exactly, which makes it a true 28 band. I am wearing it right now on the tightest hook (maybe around 27 inches) for my 25 inch ribs, and it feels decent. I think the 60 band would have been ideal, 55 would have been much too tight for my comfort, and I am able to alter it myself and don't want to pay 20pln to have someone else do it. This is so pretty on you! I adore this color (and pattern) so much. Ugh all of these new tempting EM posts right as they're on vacation! Is the 3D cut pretty wide and shallow?
I can't believe you thought it wouldn't look good, it is AMAZING on your skin tone! Bright blues are beautifully striking with golden and tanned skin. Great buy, even with the alteration you need to do.
I think the wires are medium width, maybe in this size on the wider side. Cups are fairly shallow but I know they work on average projection too, I think. My friend got the S in 70E, cups are exactly the same size but it's narrower than the 3D and has more projection.
Good to know :) If I order from them I'd definitely look at the S cut then! But yeah the blue in this is amazing on you. Her designs are so gorgeous.
I've been drooling over this one ever since I saw it on their website. Such a stunning color combo and it does look good on you. Not sure how it would look on my glow-in-the-dark skin, but I still want it. Not gonna happen, though since I just bought a bunch of new bras. My bank account is already complaining. lol
Please ignore the empty space in my photos. I did not put the bra on properly when I took my pictures. The bra doesn't sit like that when I wear it.
I finally got around to wearing this for a full day, so I can review it now! This SM is the same as all my other SMs. Great fit, great comfort, great look. What sets this one apart from my other black SMs is that this one has normal straps and not the overly elastic super long thin ones that are on my 65F - Ewa Michalak » Sm Czarna Mgiełka (481) and my ... class="mentioned-item">65F - Ewa Michalak » Sm Fiolecik (642) . So, yay for that!
The band is comfortable in a 65, it's a nice ~29" that I pretty much expect at this point. It has 4 columns and I'm using one column of an extender. I don't need it, I just always use one with new bras. The hook and eye pieces are also bigger, on my other SMs they measure 2.75 cm, this one measures 3.25cm. This adds a little bit of comfort to the back of the band. Small change, but it's noticeable and I'd like to see more of those taller clasps. The straps are normal straps. They adjust well and stay put. They are a good length and don't dig in. The cups are narrow and deep and just the way I like them. I'm pretty sure this bra uses the same mesh as the Czarna. Guzik translates to button, and this thing has a ton of them. They're white, but if you tilt them around you can see they're sparkly. It's really subtle and I think it's a nice touch. The single buttons on the straps and the backs of the bottoms are on top of bows. The embroidery itself is pretty unique, a user here called them art deco, my husband thinks they look like gears and that the set has a steampunk vibe to it, my kiddo thinks they look like owl eyes, especially the pair on the back of the thong. Maybe it should have been called Rorschach.
The underwear are a 36 for my 38" bum and 31" hip bones. They fit well and are comfortable and cute (more frilly ruffles <3). They are lower rise than my other Ewa bottoms. I guess it's evident on the website, but I admit I did not pay attention and was surprised that they were so low. Read more 305 more words
------------------------------------------------- Out of my new Ewa bras, I actually feel like this one fits the best, after trying it on again.
I don't get any quadding or gapping. I can fill the cups, somehow, with the pads in. I do not however, like the shape it gives me as mine is super pointy. I wish my real boobs had this shape haha. But I don't want a bra to have this shape, unless it's unpadded, or maybe if it even just had much lighter padding. I believe this falls under "elf shoes", which, I actually seek in unpadded bras. I get the shape with Freya Starlet and Eden. The difference ...is that this is more heavily padded than the the 3 other EM's I own, and the shape is...exaggerated? I don't know how to explain. I guess it's like giant elf shoes, except even more rounded at the bottom than I'd get with unpadded "elf shoe" bras.
I tried it on under the same top I wore yesterday (photos coming) and it just made my boobs look giant.Almost Freya Deco giant, except pointy. It isn't as obvious under a top, and I wonder if the pointyness would go away after a while. I don't know, but I'm not so in love with this that I really wish to keep it. I may try it for a day before deciding, but I'm unsure as of now.
This one doesn't do much to boost my appearance or confidence, so..idk, I'm not heartbroken about possibly letting it go. I just don't get much from it and I don't like the shape. Who knows, I may change my mind if I try it out for a day.
For now I feel, it just doesn't do much for me and makes my boobs look exaggerated. Oddly, I like the look of it in the photos I took, but IRL I just feel like it looks really bulky and pointy.
Wires are very narrow, cups are up front and centered, wires touch. They do give me lift regardless. Appearance wise, I actually don't know how I feel about it. I like the flower in the gore, and I feel like that's a unique touch. I thought the blue was going to be slightly deeper/darker, but it's still pretty. The fabric covering the cups is really soft and pretty. Inside the cups is super comfy too, and I'm sure, comfort wise, I'd love this bra. Really if it weren't for the apex, I would probably really enjoy this bra and keep it for sure.
Straps are fully adjustable. I don't have issues with them being far apart, but I think I may be more broad shoudlered. The band on mine seems TTS, doesn't cut in and isn't at all slack.
I'd recommend this bra to, of course anyone with narrow roots, who needs some projection. I really don't know what shape would be ideal or a "perfect" fit for this. I'm even, but tuberous/thin boobed and I can fill it with the pads. I think many different shapes could possibly be compatible with it TBH. The apex is up pretty high on my bra and has the shape of a FoB boob but, the space is the bottom of the cups is a little less than the space in the top. So maybe, ideally slightly FoT to even? I'm not really sure. This one confuses me a little. xD
I'll edit in the future if I decide to try it out or keep it.
The apex on it is weird, right? lol @ elf shoes! It is very green shaped for a padded bra. I quite like it even though I usually like a purple shape in a padded bra. Mine is put away until it gets colder. It does feel bulky and very warm. Too much bra for thin and sheer summer shirts, but I think it'll be great under thick sweaters. Maybe try it on with a winter top, see how you like it then before you decide. I think it looks good, but if it does zip for you, get a different one ;)
jlcl119 haha I forget where I first read the term "elf shoes", but I saw this on and it popped into my head. xD
I think this bra looks great on you btw! I was really excited to receive mine after seeing the pictures you posted because it looks so nice. :)
Something about it looks different on me imo, I just can't put my finger on what it is, but it throws things off a little. Or, maybe I'm just used to wearing bras that are almost too small and/or a specific shape atm and that's messing with my perceptions of all my other bras. xD
You know, I got to thinking this might be a nice bra for winter/sweaters for a few reasons too. I think that's a good idea. :)
And thank you ^_^ I think I may just wait until I can try a sweater with it. October is coming up soon enough!
they dont make this any more, do they? I wonder if its because you arent FOT? or if its slightly small? I feel like most of her bras want you to be more cleavagy lol (except the fb series)
dbmamaz I bought the last one xD I agree. I think they measure smaller on bottom in order to push the tissue up at the top and make you more cleavage-y
My Sm does that - its shallow at the bottom to push you up higher, I have to scoop-and-swoop out of the bottom in order to fill it, which seems odd. and it makes me look kinda flattened. I'm dying to see how an S looks on me, since everyone says the padded ones are rounder.
Telling from experience, Ewa's padded plunge bras will soften up after a few wears and washes and the shape will become more rounded and way less pointy then.
If it feels "giant" however, might be that the cups are just slightly too big (you mentioned filling them only with the pads inserted, so that might be a hint).
dbmamaz Yeah, I like the pushed up look but I think it can really make the fit odd.The S models look really great. I was going to try one in Kwiaty. Kind of glad I didn't because it would've been too big (65F), but I like the look of the S design a lot. Fingers crossed for you! :)
@bracrastination I was wondering if this was one that might soften up, but I'm so nervous about trying it, washing it, and re-selling lol.
I do think it's at least slightly too big. I'm sure I couldn't fill the top without the pads. But that woukd definitely explain why it feels so big when I have it on!
Oops I meant, trying it, washing it, it still not working out for me in whatever way, and then re-selling anyway.
FWIW, a worn once washed once EM will still sell for about retail.
jlcl119 Ah! Ok, that's really good to know. I haven't even taken the tags off yet because I've been worried lol That makes me feel better :)
I really like this set. It's sexy, what with the black mesh and all, but it's also a bit cutesy with the giant bows. It's a nice mix and visually it looks pretty good. The band is nice and tight, I expected it to be tighter than my Burek being black and all, but it isn't, it's roughly the same. Anyway, I wear it comfortably on the loosest hook. The wires sit in my fold and stay along my root pretty well. Wire marks after wearing show that the sides are about a pinkies width away from my tissue, but I did not experience any digging or stabbing, so it's ...all good. I find the shape to be a naturally rounded shape that holds my breasts right in the front. It's a little bit more minimized than my Burek, but it looks nice. I hate the straps. They are very long and very elastic. They press on my shoulders a bit and are a little wide set. They don't chafe under my arms, yet, but I see the potential there. I already have them adjusted to the top of my shoulders on my long torso. I'll have to shorten them at some point if I want all the use I can get.
Czarna Mgielka supposedly means "Black Mist". Read more 105 more words
This looks fantastic on you! I'm thrilled to see consistency in the SM cuts :-)
Thanks! I do find the SMs overall pretty consistent in fit. Of all the models I have, I would say Czarna is probably the least projected, but really the difference is insignificant.
I was disappointed by Ewa Michalak's first attempt at a wireless bra. I'm comparing it to Kiss Me Deadly's wireless bras that also have exclusively vertical seams.
The rounder profile of the latter is almost as good as the profile I get from my wired bras. The Ewa bra seems like it has too much fabric for what it's doing. This may not be the case for people who don't have perky boobs. The band in my 65F - Ewa Michalak » Top Nina is what you would expect from a 30 band. It's not tight for an Ewa Michalak 65 (UK 30) ...band, but it's tight enough for me.
I find that the profile in the EM is somewhat flattened. The texture is bumpy because the ribbon covering the vertical seams is too thick and stiff. The ribbon is sewn to the softer materials at the wrong tension or something. The stiffer ribbon bunches up when worn. It drags the softer materials with it. Kiss Me Deadly wireless bras handle their vertical seams much more delicately.
My 65F Top Nina has 8 hooks and eyes. Getting it on takes a lot of effort for not much shaping. My boobs look better out of this bra than in it!
I should add that I am not in urgent need of boob support when I sleep, given my breast shape and texture (firm and perky). I think the Top Nina will be worth its price to those who appreciate the lifting action of this relatively strong wireless. Read more 151 more words
I love this bra! I just received it and it felt pretty much perfect when I put it on. This is the first Ewa Michalak that I've tried. The half-cup design works perfectly for me and really gives me a front and center look with great lift which can be difficult as I am bottom heavy and wide-set. The band is a smidge loose but since there are four columns of hooks and eyes I am still good using the third instead of the fourth. If use the forth the wires are a smidge narrow. One thing that I'm happy about is that the wing seems to be ...taller than on Freya or Cleo bras which is something that I need to avoid boobs escaping out the side. The straps also seem to be better placed in the back as they seem closer together and run beside my shoulder blades instead of over them. The straps don't fully adjust as the front of the strap is the same fabric as the bra. They also don't seem to slip because of the raised embroidery on the adjustable portion
The design is lovely to look at and it works well under both t-shirts and woven shirts. Read more 97 more words
I've only had this bra for about a week but I love it so far. I've worn it for about 10 hours two days this week and it was comfortable for most of that time. It's super cute and the upper straps hide surprisingly well under t-shirts. I wore it under a super deep v-neck sweater one day and I really liked how the crossed straps looked in the v-neck.
Is the band mostly TTS for ewa or does it run loose?
marilynne I'd say it's probably pretty TTS for Ewa with the disclaimer that I've only tried about half a dozen Ewa bras so far. I typically wear 28F/FF in UK brands and I bought this in 65F and I'm wearing it on the loosest hook. I measured the stretched band at 29 inches.
Gotcha! Thank you! I may get the petrol soon, it's super cute! Do the decorative straps pull the shoulder straps inward more? Ewa's straps are so wide set so I was wondering if the petrol straps helped with that.
Yes the cross straps do help with that, which was also a big selling point for me. The cross straps are adjustable so you can choose how loose or tight you want them.
My true size according to both Bratabase's and ABraThatFits' calculators is 30FF. I didn't check that 65 means 28 band size, LOL. I mildly struggled to put it on at first, but the second time not so much. It does leave red marks on my underbust, but it's not too tight that I can't breathe. The gore sits flat on my sternum. This gives me a lot of front view 'projection'/impression of bustiness, but not sideview IMO.
Depending on my posture I don't quite fill out the top of the cup, but majority of the time(aka good straight posture or leaning down at any angle) it fits me snugly.
It ...doesn't give much cleavage for me which I was somewhat hoping for. Maybe cookies will change that though. The lace isn't itchy and the material is really soft. I don't quite like the black and beige color scheme but the beige really matches my skin color so it's not noticeable. I was really surprised that underneath tight clothes, the bra's silhouette isn't visible even while wearing that extra cross lace thing.
I'm planning to keep this even though the band size is too small because all this time I've been wearing a C cup or B cup. This fits me so much better and gives me more confidence even if it is tight. This is my first ever "good" bra so yay! Next time I'll definitely go for the right band size.
EDIT: Someone kindly let me know in the replies that 65 means 30 band size, so this band just runs tight I think. Thank you for the info! Read more 158 more words
65 actually means 30 band size, not 28. But some models can fit tight in the band. The PL also tends to run smaller in the cup than other models so that may contribute to the feeling of tightness.
I got this beautiful bra in an exchange a while back. It came with briefs in size M, which fit my 38-39.5" hips (36.5" higher up). I actually haven't worn this bra for much time, as I moved and gained weight right after getting it. I know my weight fluctuates though, so I'm saving it for when I lose a few pounds and my boobs shrink again.
The shape is nice and uplifted, and I really like this SF style. The cups are soft and unlined, but it's cut more like a balconnet. I like the button features instead of bows, and I like that everything is matching and ...blends in (straps, bows, bra).
I'm soft, short and narrow rooted, and this bra seems to work well for me. The cups are not too high, and when I'm a bit smaller, the coverage still allows for some nice upper boobage.
The straps adjust long enough for my tall frame, and there is still room to adjust them some more (not fully extended).
The quality is excellent, and it came in mint condition. I will love this set once it fits me again. Read more 80 more words
I thought this bra was so beautiful on the ewa website and had to have it! I fluctuate between 28FF and 30F, sometimes even 30F at times of the month and I ended up buying a 65F. The band on this runs pretty small, I think because it's black. It measures about 28" which is perfect for me. I still think this bra is really cute and it is well constructed, I just think it looks a bit cheaper than expected and wish I could have the same bra but unpadded. It fits me pretty well on my larger breast, and I use the extra pad on the other breast to make them look more similar. The gore isn't completely flat but is very close, so I don't mind much. The wires are just narrow enough for me and I think there's a good amount of projection.
I think the band snugness may be a side effect of the chp cut. I had a 55H red chp that fit like a 50HH. I wish there was a way to unpad a bra safely, my old yoko 3HC would look so pretty unlined.
This looks so cute, I wonder if this would work for FOB types with my size...
marilynne good to know! Hopefully I can find a few more to try in this size eventually! And yes that bra is just gorgeous, would look so beautiful
BraOdyssey I think I'm mostly FOB with some top fulness, this almost doesn't fit right because I'm not fuller on top unfortunately, always worth a try if you can find a cheap one, though
This ...bra is a lovely shimmering mint with pinky-purple straps that adjust using an open and close clasp (see pic), which none of my other BMs have had. I'm quite low set/tall, and they do adjust long enough with extra length that I could use if I needed. The bow on the gore and the bows on the straps are a coordinated pink/purple. The gore is overlapping also, which is a nice bonus.
Excellent quality, comfort and appearance. Read more 77 more words
I've now joined the many others who tried Ewa for the first time thanks to kate166. I really really like this. The band runs way small, and so I can't in good conscience say it fits because I need an extender. But it feels great to wear regardless. I've grown to appreciate the snugness of a true 28 band and with the extender it feels just about right. Works as advertised, pushes tissue front and center. A better push-up than any of my actual push-ups if I'm honest lol. I can feel the wires are soft and narrow as is apparently typical of Ewa. Low gore makes my sternum happy. I don't seem to quite fill the top of the cup and I'm still not sure if that's due to short roots or lack of top fullness or both. It's hardly noticeable and I ignore it, but I do wear a cookie on my smaller side just to be safe.
It's one of my favorites! I'm so jealous your wire casings are in purple. Mine were on the S style I had but on the M I ordered they're plain. I found this to be stretchy too, which is originally why I reordered it in the M.
