Straps too far apart

A very sexy bra with beautiful rhinestone accents! Reminds me of many gorgeous pieces by brands like Dita von Teese and Marlies Dekkers that I've admired from afar but unfortunately been sized out of. Graphic black lines over pale pink tulle, which fortunately doesn't read as overtly "pink" on pale skin. The straps are only half adjustable, but are noticeably more narrow-set than other SMs, perhaps because of the double-strap configuration in the back. The shape, sadly, is not as rounded as some of my other SMs.

This bra is absolutely beautiful-- elegant swirls of creme and burgundy embroidery and delicate small bows. Very "Renaissance princess" https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> The HM cut is a rare and fantastic mix of immediate projection with very open-on-top cups. The way it lifts and shapes my even-to-FoT boobs into a nice round shape is unparalleled! Unfortunately, this bra runs tight in the band and stretches only to my underbust measurement (28"), so I will need at least one hook of an extender to wear it without wire distortion. The straps are wide-set, but non-irritating on my shoulders.

I was really excited about the prospects of an unlined half-cup. Sadly the fit is not as perfect as I would like but better then expected. Going into this I knew the gore was going to be super high but it didn't bother me as much as I anticipated. The band on this model runs a full band and a half tight making it impossible to wear without an extender. The straps are wide set and only half adjustable. I anticipate having to shorten the straps someday as well as the soft front part to twist up. This is an absolutely gorgeous bra though. The embroidery is lovely ... and the cups fit pretty well despite the gore. The cups are tall but I have the tissue to fill them. Sadly this gives an odd, smushed shape that's particularly noticeable under clothes. This bra was a bargain though and I do like unlined bras so I will keep this handy even though it is less then ideal. I know it sounds like I have a lot of negative things to say about this bra but I do like it. I can make it fit almost perfectly with the extender and it'll be nice layering under not so tight clothes like sweaters and things come fall. I would love if Ewa updated this style with a shorter gore and started making unlined half-cups again.

It's so weird how it gapes but then doesn't cover at the same time. I like the front of the pattern. I wish the bands were more consistent! That's awesome that you got it brand new. I have broad shoulders, so the straps not being short enough is more of a problem than how wide set they are.
Thanks guys! I'm glad I can fill this bra out because of how unique it is.
girl333 I think I can pull it out just a little because of how open it is. The cups pretty much go straight up which I think contributes to the flat shape. However, my tall roots love it!

What a nice bra! It is so close. Glad you are keeping it. That wee bit of gape will not show under sweaters. Looks great on you!
Thanks, that's what I figured. Plus it'll be nice not adding any more bulk to my favourite baggy sweaters
It fits just like my other pl (Zlote Oko) I received. Nice centered shape due to the nice narrow wires. I am not sure why but the gore on this one bothers me slightly more, maybe because the band is tighter. I like the lace overlay but I not really fond of the baby blue color. I took the pictures of this bra with the inserts which add a nice boost creating cakes on plate cleavage. With the insert the bra is sightly to small, so they are only for special events. I wish EM had more pl styles or the 3DM came in larger sizes.

I feel like I'm about to commit a cardinal sin here.... but I just don't like the CHP. I like the S, I love the SM, and the HM is so sexy, any issues are forgiven. The CHP though? Meh. I want to love it, really. Halfcups are so visually appealing. But I can't stand it on. I don't understand why everyone loves the CHP, when the S and SM are heaven to me.
Bra description: A two-seam, three-part halfcup, with Ewa's famously narrow wires. The material on the cups is a brilliant, almost shiny red (think like swimsuit material) while the band is a brilliant red without ... the shine (actually the same color/material as the Ewa Michalak S Truskawki Z Malinami (383) )). The vertical seams and the wires are covered with a deep navy ribbon, while the top of the cup displays and even darker navy lace. The straps and the back clasps are more of a slate blue than a navy.
I got this bra used, so its got some pilling on the band (but not on the cups), and I didn't get any inserts with it.
On to the fit!
Without cookies, I get gaping at the top. The depth is fantastic, but my boobs just kind of puddle in the cup. I put some the cookies from a 65FF S, and the fit was "perfect".... I just don't like it.
So, there's tons of projection, immediate and at the apex. It creates a very round shape. It does not lift as much as the S does. The cleavage is of the subtle, "gentle hills" variety.
I compared this bra to my 3-part Comexim halfcup longline (70H - Comexim » Papillon Longline ) which I'm starting to bubble out of a little. The comexim has more immediate projection, a rounder profile, and slightly more angled cups. I like the comexim better, even though its a little small.
Then I compared it to a freya halfcup (30FF - Freya » Piper Padded Longline Bra (1233) ). As with all Freya halfcups, the longline's wires are painfully wide, and the cup a little too shallow. The CHP's wires are narrow and more comfortable, and the deeper cups create a more projected profile than the shallow, flattened freya halfcup look. With inserts, the CHP creates better cleavage. Despite the fit problems, I'm more likely to wear the longline than the CHP.
The fit is good.On paper, this bra has everything I ever wanted: Sexy color/appearance, narrow wires, immediate projection, lots of depth, shorter cups.
So why don't I like it? I despise the top of the cup. I've had this problem with every single CHP I've tried on. The top of the cup is absurdly noticeable under any top I wear. The top of my comexim halfcup and my freya halfcups aren't anywhere near as noticable. The only bra I've tried with a worse top seam was the Cleo Maddie (which is really tall, fyi). With the CHP, the seam is noticeable with or without inserts. Without, the cup is too tall. With... it's not quadding, persay. The cup is not too small. It just has a noticeable seam+dent in my upperboob. I don't it. Am I the only one who gets this?
In conclusion, I'm reserving full judgement until I try the CHP in a size down, just to make sure its not a size issue. But I'm hedging my bets that it's just a weird thing in my head and I will never like the CHP on me, no matter how I lust after it.

I also haven't had much luck with the CH or CHP styles. My closest fit was a 70DD Magnolia, but the cups were super low coverage and it was a bit too small all over, and the ones I've tried in a cup volume larger have been too big at the top of the cup even with the pads.
I like the CHP but don't really care for the S/SM, so maybe we balance each other out in our cardinal sin!
wendybien I think you hit the nail on the head with my fit annoyance - The cup just ends in the wrong spot for me. The Freya halfcup and Comexim halfcup I compared to also ended around the same area, but the cup edge is much thinner in those two, so I didn't care as much. I think if the CHP had a thinner/graduated cup edge, I would be all over it.
In the meantime, I like the S better because that top part of the cup curve back over my boob, rendering the cup edge nearly invisible under shirts.
trebuchet1220 More S/SM for me, for CHP for you! I've just noticed a trend on bratabase to love the CH/CHP cuts while expressing annoyance at the S (The SM gets plenty of love though). It confused the crap out of me because I have very similar sounding boobs to many of the raving CHP reviews (short root, issues with shallow-bottomed bras/wanting immediate projection and overall cup depth, etc). Maybe its a minor shape difference we haven't specified yet, or maybe it's just personal preference at this point.
Comexim 3HC is a better fit for me, too. The gore with of EM CHP bothers me...and the thickness...and the stiffness. Comexim's "cuddle."
I wish Edit was available to delete the incorrect apostrophe. Sigh.
A much better fit than the 30G I already tried (no gaping and perfectly fitted cups!) This bra is an undeniably beautiful, ornately decorated half cup somewhat reminiscent of a 1920's flapper dress with its beige cups fitted with black mesh overlay, scalloped floral lace, semi-transparent frills and sparkling rhinestone rosette pendant. What a fun date-night or special occasion number! The sort of burlesque aesthetic is very much what I originally hoped for with Curvy Kate's Tease Me, but whereas that one is wide and shallow with high, armpit-irritating wings, this one much better accommodates a narrow and immediately projected shape. The fit is pretty comparable to the other CHPs I own in the same size: band is firm, cups are quite open on top and create a stellar super round shape. The straps are perhaps a little thicker than usual, but widely-set like most EM bras.

I think it's the only 3 seamed CHP! Is the cup shape comparable to the other CHPs?
Come to think of it, it must be, at least I've never encountered another 3-seam/4-part cup CHP before! The cup shape is exactly the same, uplifted and super round.
From the promotional pictures, I was unsure of how this bra would actually look on me as it's a little outside my normal comfort zone, but in person I actually really love it and am so glad I tried it! The design is sort of burlesque and very elegant with the vertical seams, muted black polka dots and rich red satiny bows.
Personally, I love the thinner straps as a more inconspicuous option under tops and don't find that they compromise support very much at all. The diagonal ones are a neat and "edgier" feature, but if you have asymmetry like I do you'll have to adjust them so ... that they aren't equal, which is only a minor drawback aesthetically. It's awesome that they are adjustable so as to accommodate a range in center/upper fullness, but it would have been even more so if they were optionally removable. Still, I very much appreciate the look of the bra with them, which is an exciting departure from the typical realm of full-bust bras.
This is my first CH cut, and I find the cups are a bit more open on top than my CHPs, allowing me to wear this bra with or without the pads, whereas I always go without in CHP. Like all EM bras, the quality is excellent and very beautiful.

This is a great, supportive t-shirt bra. The material is comfortable, forgivng of asymmetry, and a suitable "nude" for pale skin. The cup height works well for my very short roots. My first Ewa Michalak was a 65FF S Porcelanka: it was too small everywhere. This 65FF S Pralinka is also too small for me, but allows more immediate projection than the 65FF S Porcelanka. Within three minutes, however, the wires were pressing uncomfortably on my ribs. However, I'm concerned a 65G will fit better in every dimension except cup height. This is a recurring problem for me: when my short, projected breasts have enough width and immediate projection at the wire, the cup height is too tall.

I love the colors and CHP style is my favorite. It holds my girls secure while giving me an extra oomph even without cookies. The only issue is that sometimes I need to rearrange the lace on top of the cups to make it laying flat under fitting clothes. This bra shows up a bit under tight fitting clothes anyway.

So, I've ranked this bra what I would if it had been the right size for me - Love how it looks, it's super comfy and is pretty awesome construction wise. The only thing I forgot when buying this bra was that because it was strapless it was going to be super shallow... and so would be way too small for me in my normal Ewa size. I usually wear 65FF, but seems like I'll need 65G or possibly even 65GG.

I really like this bra, it's really comfortable. It is just slightly too large in the cups for me. I think a 65F would be perfect. I get just a bit of gaping near the gore, otherwise it isn't horrible but a cup size down would probably work best.

I fell in love with the Nana Bezowa, but couldn't find one in my size. And the Kusidelko seemed to be the closest thing to it. I love the sheer nude with the contrasting black trim! So sexy!!
This bra was a much better fit for me than my Czarna Mgielka in a 65FF. Not nearly as much wrinkling in the bottom of the cup, more like just some tiny bit of empty fabric, barely even noticeable. Everything about this bra was just about perfect, except the cup's edge cuts in a tiny bit, causing minor quad boob, which is creating the dreaded pointy shape I loathe! It ... wasn't a very flattering shape under a shirt. I'm not sure if maybe I need to loosen the straps a bit or go up a cup size (I think a 60G would prob fit perfectly). I had to hook this on the tightest setting, as usual, and in doing so, I think I tightened the straps far too much to accommodate the looser band on me. And when I say loose, I don't mean it's not nice and snug on me, it def is. But a 60 band would be much more ideal for me, then I wouldn't feel the urge to tighten the straps nearly as much. The gore on this seemed less bothersome than my Czarna Mgielka. Another thing I wasn't too fond of with this bra, it seems to minimize the girls more than any other SM style I've tried. I was hoping for a much more projected look, but I feel like they're being smushed back, if that makes any sense. Lol.
Overall, still a very very sexy bra, and much more comfy than my Czarna Mgielka. Still trying to decide if I wanna hold onto it or pass it along :/

Currently this bra is too small in the cup. My bust pops up and out of the cup due to the lack of vertical coverage.
Original Review: 3/20/15
This is my third Ewa bra, and it has definitely exceeded my expectations yet again. This lovely bra is a muted plumb color. The straps are wrapped with the same fabric as the bra cups for the first half of the strap. The back half of the strap is made of adjustable elastic with a smooth feel, making adjustments fairly easy. I simply love the pale lilac colored bow detail of the straps because it gives a nice feminine ... feel. The under wires are narrow and close together with the cups providing a more up and out in front lift. To get the best fit for me, I did remove the cookies so my breast didn't try to peek out of the top of the cup. The cups are fairly thick providing modestly on chilly days with a removable cookie pad to help with pushup or uneven size correction. The outside fabric lays flat and doesn’t wrinkle so the cup appears smooth under clothing. There is lilac colored lace along the top of the bra cups, again adding that feminine touch coordinating with the bows. The band has elastic that is evenly distributed along the top and bottom so I didn’t experience any digging in by the end of the day. The hooks in the back had four columns with two rows of hooks. Because I did not special order a smaller band size I had to wear this on the tightest setting. This works great for now, but eventually I will need to make the band smaller to fit my 26” ribcage as the band relaxes and stretches over time. I wore this bra right out of the box for a full day and didn’t have any uncomfortable moments, nor any red marks by the end of the day.
I purchased this bra on 3/10/15
I received notice of shipment on 3/11/15
I received my bra in the mail on 3/18/15
This is based on shipping from Poland to the Los Angeles, CA area.

High quality colorful and very beautiful Ewa Michalak - gives a very burlesque look which is very sexy. Gore, straps, band, ect are exquisite and fit well. Fabric is comfortable whilst giving the girls a great shape. Unfortunatly it is too big in the cups for me as I cant quite fill it. Will definitly reorder in a size smaller.

This is my second Pralinka in the same size and I'm two for two. See my original review here-> http://bra.pe/XOzI/
This one fits like the first one with the exception that it's a teeny-weeny bit bigger in the band. I also feel the cup height in the center of the cup comes up ever so slightly higher than my original bra. But it fits amazing well and is comfortable out of the box. This color nude works very well for me. All pics taken for this bra were taken without the cookies. I do have to say with all the inconsistency in size within EM, I'm pleasantly shocked that this was pretty much an identical bra to my first one.

I got my first Ewa Michalak!! Unfortunately, it is a little too big in the cups for me on most days. However, onto the pros! This bra is so soft and well made, with a few different but equally soft materials used in its construction. The cups are made on the outside of a teal blue material (not exactly sure the fabric name) covered by a floral black lace which is not overly textured nor itchy. The inner cups are a soft, thin jersey material which include 'slots' for cookies. The band is made of *super* soft stretch mesh. The band is ... also quite stretchy, and is a very accurate 65 (30) band, which is apparently hard to find (a true to band size EM). Otherwise, the gore tacks and the straps are fully adjustable. The cups are also quite closed in on top, but I assume if it had been sized down a cup or if I had the boobs to fill it out, it would expand outward to accommodate more tissue on top. Oh, if only this bra had fit better in the cups! I will definitely be looking to get my hands on another Ewa in the future!

The cups fitted beautifully but the band was way too big (an arm underneath) and the straps were ridiculously loose on the tightest setting.
Such a shame as it made my boobs look so fancy!
The quality was superb otherwise, so if you're tall and on the larger side of a 30 band... it will be perfect!

Yay! FINALLY!!! My very first Polish bra, my very first Ewa Michalak! I actually found this bra on eBay and just HAD to snatch it up!! Lol! I am not familiar with EM or their sizing/styles so this was a total shot in the dark. The seller listed this as a 30FF equivalent, and I normally wear a 28G so I thought this would be perfect!!!
Well, the comfort is pure perfection at least. But I feel like this bra could fit much better. I'm thinking I would def need at least a 60 band. I had to hook this on the tightest hook and it's still not ... tight enough for my preference. The band is very stretchy in my opinion, but soft n comfy. The cups, well they just seem awkward to me. They look great at first glance, but for some reason I'm getting a little bit of wrinkling on the left. I feel like I'm about to spill over the top but they are very open and loose so there's no quad boobing. But it almost feels like this bra has reduced cups, the cups come up short for me and my nipple is barely covered. I don't know if I should try going up in the cup and down in the band, maybe a 60G/GG cuz I'm worried the cup might gap and/or wrinkle. But the wire width fits me perfectly (5.5"). They're not extending out to my armpits or wrapping around my back. The straps seem a little too far apart for me but I could deal with that. And the gore sits nicely against my sternum without digging in. I'm actually quite surprised at just how comfy the gore is. I also feel like the wings on the side are a perfect height, just tall enough and not too short.
This is a beautiful bra, and definitely high quality! I'm just not sure if this is the right EM style for me. I'm sure I could make it work if I find the right size or style for my shape. This style gives a terrific lift and shape, with great projection. I tried a shirt on with it just to see the shape it gave me and wowzers, the girls looked amazing!! Lol!! I'm not sure if I should hold onto this one (as technically it fits) but I think I can find a much better fit, perhaps in a different style and one that is my actual size (not a sister size).
Update: So, after wearing this bra ALL day and night, I'm loving it! The comfort is just undeniable, and it makes the girls look oh so good. I think it's the removable push-up pads, but this bra just gives em that extra oomph, like only my VS push-ups have ever been able to do. It almost feels like I'm not even wearing a bra. I cut the tag off earlier cuz that was poking in under my arms, and as soon as I did that, AHHHH...total bliss!! And I absolutely LOVE the bows on the straps (mores the placement) and how they come up a bit from the cup! I shouldn't have been so quick to list this bra, I've decided I'm def hanging onto it until I see something else I like from EM in a 60G/GG.

The CHP is listed as a 'half cup' bra - its actually cute on you though! I'm sure I'd fall out lol Have you seen the Rixie clip? Supposedly it works to shorten bands
Thank you!!! I'm wondering if maybe I'm just not used to this brand. I usually just throw on my VS bras and call it a day. Lol, they have more coverage and I guess that's just what I'm used to. It is an absolutely adorable bra tho. I'm trying to wear it for the afternoon to see what i think after wearing it longer. So far it's super comfy! And I've heard of the Rixie clip, I need to invest in one of those!! Thanks for the tips!!
