Initial thoughts, will update later after wearing for longer. Liking this bra a lot so far! The band is definitely firmer than my 70G - Ewa Michalak » Chp Lawenda (588) , which has a very comfy, stretchy band, but the cups fit better in this one. This bra is great if you’re very FoB, like me! The top part is soft and stretchy, so it fits both my larger and smaller sides nicely. Cup-wise, this is probably the best-fitting bra I have now, so I’ll be wearing it with an extender for a while and hope it stretches a bit. Sizing up (sister size 75FF - ...Ewa Michalak » Sf Czarny Gładzioch (866) ) did not help and just exacerbated my usual fit issues— notably, wrinkling at the bottom, gaping at the top. This bra has some very cute details like a little fabric embellishment at the gore, and I’m always a sucker for bras with buttons instead of bows! If the band is comfier with an extender, I’ll probably pick up a few others and these will be my daily wear summer bras. Read more 77 more words
Update: For this bra I wear it on the tightest set of hooks and get a good fit. I feel this bra runs slightly small in the band for a 70 band. After trying a few BM’s in a size 65GG and having some issues with the proportions, I don’t feel a 65GG would be a good sister size. I’d prefer a 65G if I were to repurchase another.
I’ve been on the hunt for a black lace bra since my Sm Wróżka died a while back. This bra is lovely! I purchased second hand in EUC. The backband runs small compared to the other two BM’s in ...70G I have. But I’m not complaining since I purchased all these BM’s as a sister size to my 65GG I’m at now. So this is definitely in my favor. I think this goes without saying, bras in the color black just seem to always run smaller/tighter. The cups are lined with a black mesh, with the lower cup being non-stretch while the upper cup has a stretch mesh lining behind the stretch lace. This one came with a slight wire overlap at the gore. The center gore has a diamond pattern with fine mesh on the center. It has a black bow with a gem hanging from it. There are two small black bows where the straps meet the cup. The band has 3X4 hooks. Overall this is a lovely black bra, very comfortable and a wonderful replacement for my lost love Sm Wróżka. Read more 145 more words
My shape: FOB, projected, soft tissue, narrow shoulders The color is this bra is super feminine: a pale pinkish, hence the name "apricot." It works great as a "nude" bra if you have super pale skin like I do. There's a tiny crystal charm at the gore that makes it even more princessy. The fit is similar to the "older" Ewa bras I have in that the straps are too wideset. Two of the three Ewa i recently bought rom MagdaBras4you have straps that are perfect, but this one is slightly too wide. I decided not to perform my usual strap surgery to make them narrower, ...and have just dealt with the slight annoyance of strap readjustment on the days I wore this. This is the second of this particular model bra I've tried; the first one I ordered from Levana Bratique last summer, but ended up sending it back because the gore was super short and my larger breast was escaping out of the front at the gore. This one fits me much better, even with the annoying straps. Overall, a bra win! Read more 76 more words
I can't decide if I want to keep this bra or not! I did remove the tag, so I can't exactly send it back, but I have yet to wear it all day. I keep waffling about it, which makes me think I should probably just try to sell this and buy a bra I am more excited about! Anyways, this was one of my Black Friday purchases. I have the beige color of this type of bra, and I don't wear it very much because I am NOT a fan of beige, and I don't like the fit of the half lace BMs as well as the full lace. This black Bibi feels tighter all around, which I know is typical of black bras.
This is a gorgeous golden beige bra with full coverage cups. Size is 70G. Construction is of very high quality. Lower cup is a shiny fabric with 3 sections; 2 vertical seams. The top, horizontal section is a stretch net. I absolutely love this bra, and it would be a perfect every day bra, but it is obviously too big for me. The band is too long and the cups are too big. I'm already on the tigthest hook.MamaPaganLeProfessor advice as to what size I should order? I am thinking I should go down the equivalent of 2 cup sizes in unpadded and 1 cup size in padded. I also have a 65G PL Chalet...I'll load photos of both for reference.
Yep, it looks like this one is too big all around. I would say going down in the band for sure, based on how you're holding the back, honestly it would look like 2 band sizes. The cups would be tricker to assess, as sister sizing is not exact with Ewa. As you sister size down, Ewa cups tend to be slightly larger, so while in theory a 70G=65GG=60H, the 60H cup would in reality be larger.
The 60 band are all custom sizes, 20pln more in price than standard and not returnable if they don't fit, so it may be wiser to go with the 65 band instead of jumping down to the 60 just yet, but that is your call for sure.
As for cup.....I would loosely suggest a 65FF/G, as I am not confident this one is 2 cups too small, especially factoring in how large the band is on you.
Edit: It should have said ".....2 cups too big...." instead of too small :-)
Well, this is it. Shut it down, everybody. Kill the lights. The search is over. I found it. A Bra That Fits. My Ideal Bra. (For now, anyway - if there's anything I've learned on this crazy [series of] ride[s] it's that Boobs Change.)
This soft unlined bra is supportive; has plenty of wire, apex, and top depth (all of which I need), just the right amount; gives me a softly rounded, naturalistic shape; and is super-comfortable. In addition to the pretty outer lace in dark navy blue ('Kleks' means 'inkblot'), it's lined with a super-soft fine black stretchy mesh for modesty and luxurious comfort.
Fits very similarly to the other BMs I own, the 70G - Ewa Michalak » Bm Naomi (809) having the longest review I've written on the subject. Previously I tried this bra in 65G - Ewa Michalak » Bm Bibi Flamenco (808) because I saw it on BTB's listings and was hopeful. I still think a 65GG might fit well in this style, as the 65G felt too small but cups that are too small (as they were) can also make the band feel too tight, and it only feels very slightly too tight.
As others have said, really unique color and semi-shiny like satin. The trim is light pink: lace along the top, straps and bow all pink. Totally smooth under knits except for the top seam (which isn't raised, just visible to close examination). Comes with asymmetry pads and pockets. The band is stretchy compared to other S style bras I own. I feel as though the cups are slightly small for a G because even without the pad I still bubble out a bit on my larger side if I don't reverse swoop & scoop; it fits just like a couple of my 70FF Ewa S's. Very soft and comfortable with great projection, lift and centering. The S cut is my ideal fit and shape!
I am evenly round in shape with a touch of FOB and I am fairly wide set - I have yet to encounter a gore too wide for me. I also have narrow shoulders, very soft tissue, and narrow roots.
I love this bra but the straps are just too wide set for my narrow shoulders. Plus, I'm between band sizes and this is the larger so it only fits on the tightest hooks. I love the materials, especially for the price. The straps are also as extended as far as possible and I am only 5'7". The lace covers my assymetry ...very well and the shape is very round with just a hint of pointiness. I tried the sister size down 65GG, but the wires were ever so slightly too narrow for me so I got poked. With soft tissue, this was agony. I had a 65H made for me, but the cups are too big - possibly alterable - and somehow the straps are wider than the 65GG. I will enter the 65H next with full measurements.
Alas, the quest goes on for a soft cup bra that fits and feels comfortable, yet gives a rounder shape and doesn't cover every inch of skin! Read more 110 more words
Runs small in the cups (more like a UK 32FF than a 32G) and a wee bit small in the band, which is actually perfect for me since I vacillate between 30 and 32. Feels very comfortable on, and comes veeery close to creating true cleavage, which we all know is rare in well-fitting bras.
The appearance is beautiful, the lace lays fairly flat even fresh out of the box (thank you Bra Obsessed for your excellent packing job!), the wires are nicely narrow... I love this bra, and it fits me very well.
But... but! The shape. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> Ewa Michalak's S cut creates more of a "pointy" shape than the round shape I personally prefer. (And I don't really understand the placement of the bow...? On both the model and me that bow gets kind of crushed because of how close this bra pulls the breasts together. It makes me think the bra doesn't quite fit as well as it seems to.)
I have the same pointy cup. I personally love the shape, but I find it does soften with wear/washing.
gratiat It's like a PERFECT 'green shape' bra ( http://brasihate.blogspot.com/2013/10/full-bust-greatest-hits-bras-i-hate.html ), but I think I'd prefer the more rounded and slightly minimized look of a CHP or BM bra... (Bra Obsessed didn't have any CHPs I liked when I was initially ordering from them, and this was the first S I got that fit, so until now I couldn't really tell what it would look like on me, if that makes sense.
How much softening are we talking about here? ;)
It still has a subtle peak, but I'd say my S's get pretty round. Not as round as a CHP but not as bad as my current PL. The BMs though give a great shape, one of my favourites. This is what my most worn/washed S style looks now: http://imgur.com/TzFFQCu, http://imgur.com/Xdd5G5E.
Thank you so much!! That's really helpful :) <3 This is another reason to love BTB, where else can we get photos of broken in bras :)
I like "pointy", and it looks so good on you.
Aww thanks. :) Jaimie and a friend both agreed that it actually looks a little small in the cups? Jaimie assumed I was wearing it with the cookies! nnnope. But either way I've measured it and I'm sending it back. Exchanging it for a CHP of the same ;D
This is a very nice unlined nice bra, but it was simply a disaster for my shape. Bratabase's fit questionnaire only offers two choices: can fill bottom or can't fill bottom of cup. "Creates bizarre ziggurat effect by carving multiple divots into bottom of breast" would be the most accurate description. Similarly, I had to choose between gapping and quadboob on top. This did both simultaneously, unless I tightened the straps so far I couldn't feel my arms.
Now, this bra seems to fit great on a lot of other people here, so it's clearly just me, but, wow, no.
All that said, I loved the band. If Ewa would put this band on a CHP and move her straps in at least an inch, I'd have my perfect bra.
This bra runs very wide in the band and has very large cups.
My other two 70G Ewa Michalaks (CHP Cappuccino and HM Gold) are much snugger and the cups are too small. In the CH Onyx, the cups are definitely big enough – almost too big, even, but only almost.
The band is a problem. In addition to being wide, it is also very stretchy. I was able to fasten it to the innermost hooks straight away, and I will probably need to make it narrower in the near future. If I had know this, I would have ordered a 65GG.
The straps have pros and cons. The comfort ...straps are, as they promise, comfortable! However, due to the comfort pads, they aren't adjustable all the way, and may I say they are ridiculously long. I wear them as short as possible, and still they are way too long, glide off my shoulders and don't give the little but essential support they are supposed to. Will need to shorten them.
The normal straps are adjustable all the way, but they, on the other hand, are very short, and it is impossible to wear the bra straps as an X. To do so, I will need to buy another pair of straps, meh...
The appearance of the bra is very nice – plain and stylish with a tiny detail that just finishes it off (the buttons on the front).
CH Onyx gives my breasts a slightly "out there" shape, at the same time pointy and round – not bad. Still, I would maybe prefer an even rounder and closer-to-my-chest shape with this cup size, now I don't feel it's quite as supportive as it could be. Although that probably has to do with the too wide a band and the too long straps.
All in all, this bra needs it fair amount of tweaking to fit me perfectly, but after that I believe I will be very satisfied.
Edit (17 March 2013): I've now narrowed the band and shortened the straps. It's better, but still not perfect. The straps still don't cut in but are very comfortable, which is a BIG plus. This of course has to do with the band being firmer, but nevertheless I don't feel it's firm enough. The band rides a bit up the back and respectively glides down at the front, although definitely not as much as you'd expect with a band that is this much too big (e.g. compared to the CHP Cappuccino in 70GG, with which I had to give up).
As also the cups are now bordering on too small (no quad-boob yet, but almost – nothing to blame EM for, probably just the last bit of breast tissue remigration), I decided to order this bra in a 65H and leave this one as an at-home-bra – it's still far from perfect, but thanks to its comfort its still a keeper. Let's hope the 65H turns out to be the true catch https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Read more 391 more words
Similar in fit to the CH Karmelki. Excellent lift, some issues with the fit when I don't use the pads. Beautiful pale fabric, perfect for my skin tone. Gives me a great shape, but the cups are a bit deep for me, so there is some gaping at the top unless I tighten the straps all the way.
The band on this feels very tight, even as compared to other Ewa Michalak plunges. I'm currently wearing it with an extender. I suspect a size larger band would stretch out too fast, though.
My first S style from Ewa! Looks gorgeous on, but only fits with cookies, which feels like more volume than I'd prefer in most everyday situations. Subtle but beautiful detailing with small bows where straps meet cups and charm accent at gore. Front portion of band under and around cups is black lace over caramel fabric. Without cookies, the cup for my larger boob has major gapping and the slight shallowness is more pronounced. Would like to try this in 75FF or 75F - would have ordered but were out of stock at Levana, crossing my fingers for a restock soon!

I admit it. This is my total comfort blanky this month.
I know I shouldn't wear it all day, every day, without break. But the temptation is just so very strong.
And koktajl is so very supportive, soft and reassuring.

Beautiful colorway and well made. Cups do not fit new correctly, I’m slightly spilling out of my large side and it also feels like my breast are just hanging there.
Super!!! Thank you :)
