Love this bra. It is so gorgeous and comfortable. It is definitely stretchier than my other SM bra and gives a different shape - a bit more natural, perhaps a bit rounder, but not as lifted. The only problem I have with this bra is that it rides down under the cups although the band is tight and firm.
For reference, I wear a 32FF in Cleo. I'm really glad I took a chance on this bra. I would have ordered it in a 75G (I've read EM bands can run tight), but they did't have it in stock, so 70G it is.
The 70/32 band is great. It has 4 rows of 3 hooks, and it's very firm and comfortable. I got another Ewa S bra in a 75 band (75G - Ewa Michalak » S Beżuś) , and it was definitely too loose, so I'm glad I got this in a 70.
As for ...the cups, there is a little gaping at the top, although the removable pads help with that. I put both pads on my smaller side to even things out. While there is some gaping, I wouldn't go down a cup size (to match my Cleo size). I think I'd be spilling out if I did. So the advice I read on sizing up a cup in the S cut is true, at least for me. I want to try an EM bra in the CHP cut, as I've read it's more closed on top.
Another thing to note is I have the straps as long as they will go (as I have to with almost all bras), and they're still pretty tight. I'll have to wear it longer to know if that will be an issue.
Also the straps/top of the cups are digging in near my underarms a bit, but again, I'll have to wear it a while to decide if that's a major issue. Read more 167 more words
i cant give any info on how this fits right now, because the band is too tight to do up and i dont have an extender that works with it. going by the measurements i took, everything but the band should fit well. will update when/if i get an extender.
UPDATE: sadly this bra is so, so wrong for me in the fit department. with an extender, i need all three hooks to do it up. thats what i get for not paying attention to measurements and getting my hopes up! :'( the cups are also too large, maybe about a cup size? its very hard to tell when ...the band is so off. the cups are also very open, so i think that is part of the problem. ive got little upper fullness, so there is just way more space in there than i need! the wire width feels narrow, but not like its cutting in, more like its fitting right at the edge of my breast tissue like its supposed to. i love the looks of this bra, and i hope i can find it in a more appropriate size.
appearance wise, this is a gorgeous bra. the color and pattern are lovely, and the shade of blue is my favorite. there appears to be a small area where the stitching came undone on the band (in photos) that the previous owner (who bought this from its original owner) did not mention. i dont think it will affect wear, because its one of two rows of stitching, but still, its definitely there. i see a review for this exact bra and size that shows the bra having the same thing, so i think that user is the original owner, and according to them it came this way direct from EM. so, i still believe this bra was only worn a few times, but it sucks that it was sent by EM even though it was defective. the wires seem to roll in their channels a bit, if that makes any sense, and the band seems to be curled under a bit. not sure if that will be a problem with wear, though, or if its just something to do with the fabrics. Ohhh I love this bra! So pretty! Even though it doesn't fit me quite right, I'm willing to live with a few issues on account of the prettiness.
I bought this bra from another user on this site, it was still new with tags still on. I new that it would be a tight fit, as this is a 30G, where I normally wear a 32G, but the measurements showed me that the difference in cup depth and wire length was under 1 cm, so I decided I would give it a go.
First of all, the sheer mesh fabric of the cup is surprisingly supportive, and the embroidery is ...just gorgeous!
To my surprise, the band is not way too small. I had already bought an extender because I thought it would be, since I usually wear 32 bands, and I had read everywhere that EM bands are quite snug. But even though it is a bit tight, I don't think I will need an extender, or at least not for long.
The gore is a bit higher than my usual styles (Freya half cups), but it's not uncomfortable. The gore is also quite narrow (the wires are sewn on top of each other), which is a bit much for my wide set boobs, but that is basically true for all my bras.
The wires, are about the same length as most of my bras, but narrower than I prefer, so I've just bent them out a little and now they are a good fit.
The cups fit, but they are on the small side (as expected). I do not quad boob, but the gore doesn't quite tack. When I push the gore to my sternum, the cups do quad a bit, so I guess a GG would be better for me.
One problem I have not yet been able to fix, however, is that the top of the cup gives me a bit of a square shape from the side. It is as if the fabric just below the top of the cup is tighter than the absolute top edge, which causes the square shape. This may have something to do with the construction of the straps, which start in a wedge shape at the top of the cup, as opposed to the usual parallel straps. The slanted inside edge of the straps seems quite tense, and I think I feel this tension continue in the top part of the cup that seems tighter than the upper edge somehow (of anyone can still folllow what I mean).
I will make a fit request for this bra to see if anyone can tell me what's happening.
I want to like this bra more than I do, but Ewa's half cups seem to be hit or miss on me and this one just missed.
It fit acceptably and I probably would wear it if the ribbing on the cups didn't show through every single shirt I've tried with it. Maybe that's a size issue that would be fixed with some shuffling in cup size, but I'm just not interested in doing that.
Love this bra great lift and support very round shape. Only reason I'm selling is because I bought two of the same bra in diff sizes. Band is stretchy but comfortable and has kept its shape so far. BNWT. Removable pads are nice for the extra oomph or to take out if i need extra room in the bra that day!
Fits so much better than my 70GG - Ewa Michalak » Sm Summer Time (554), but I still have some minor wrinkling at the top of the cups. I think this is because of the angle of the top panel; when I pinch the fabric right where the straps connect to the cups, it's all nice and flat. It's barely noticeable, so I wear it anyway. It doesn't affect the fit otherwise; my boobs are still fully supported.
The band is good - I've found I tend to need 65 in EM's padded styles, while the sheer models are firmer.
I love this bra. The band is quite tight, but I manage to wear it. Just not so many hours I'd like. The cups make my breasts look wonderfull and so far I just loves it.
Tip-to-tip per the instructions, excluding the wire channel per instructions, this bra measures 6 inches in width. Measuring parallel to the floor from the gore across produces approximately 5.5 inches, but measuring this way produces an arbitrary measuring point.
Compared to SM Bambino in the same size, it is wider and has a higher apex (longer center cup seam ends higher), producing a very pointy silhouette to Bambino's rounded one. The cup feels taller and broader overall.
I've tried lots of EM bras, but never this cut and this is the first one that isn't a perfect fit. The gore doesn't tack at the top; it looks like my breasts are too close together where the gore ends for it to fit. However, I have EM CHPs with the same gore height measurement that do tack, so I don't know that that's the real problem.
The embroidered mesh overlay shows through a lot of tops.
Runs large in the cup but is (as expected) still too small for me; it doesn't quite cover my nips. Received from Nsm who adjusted it because she found it too large in the band. The band is great for me and I LOVE the versatility of the convertible straps. I have some clear straps that I got with a different bra and they work out great for racerback tops. I didn't get the padded straps so I don't know how those would be. The straps are pretty wide-set in the front, which is no issue for me, but it could be for more normal or narrow-shouldered girls. It's really beautiful with the 2 faceted buttons at the gore and the satin trim along the top and over the wing stitching.
I have soft, narrow-rooted and projected breasts. This is a very low-coverage bra, with a low gore. The shape it gives is spherical, apple-round boobs. In my experience, EM's padded bras run loose, and the sheer bras are usually snug; this is the tightest of all bras I've tried, though not enough to size up (I find it comfortable).
The cups are good in width (maybe a centimetre too wide), but I would like a little more volume. My soft tissue sometimes spills over in the middle, and over the top. The bottom of the cups are either too shallow or too small; whichever it is, after a while ...my breasts creep up to find more room, and leave an empty space above the wires. The top part of the cups is also too flat, or the inward angle is too sharp, and it flattens my boobs and give them a weird rectangular shape unless I let the straps out almost all the way. It's not uncomfortable, it's just not ideal.
The bra itself is gorgeous; the cups are completely sheer, with some of the most beautiful floral embroidery I have ever laid eyes on. The colours are all muted, dusky pinks, dark green, even the beige has a little grey mixed in. The embroidery is very pokey so it's not great under thinner knits. It certainly creates cleavage so I can see it working well with plunging necklines.
It's not perfect for me because of my soft tissue, and I'd like more coverage, but agh it's so pretty I've decided to keep it. It's definitely not an all-day, everyday bra, but it's more of an occasion/special outfit/bedroom bra anyway. Also, ugh, gorgeous. Read more 172 more words
I knew I'd like this bra as soon as I saw it on Ewa's website, but there were a few more I liked better. When I got the opportunity to get it here, I grabbed it.
So I love the print. It's pretty and perfectly spring-y, but the brightness of the pink counters the spring-y a bit and kind of wakes you up a little (needed in this crappy weather we're having right now).
It's a very nice bra. Well made, pretty, and comfy. My only qualm with it is that it has those stupid pads-which in this model are NOT removable. I can and will remove them because it's ...too small in the cup otherwise. Kind of strange that she made one without removable padding-all of my other similar Ewa's have thankfully had padding that can be removed. Bordering on an H cup, the padding definitely puts me solely into H territory. My husband likes it, but I'm not a fan of quadboob because I can do so much better with the fit!
I think I'll remove the padding with a small slit and then sew up each side so that it becomes another one that I can keep or remove whenever I want to. Since Mr. Catiebabe85 *likes* it with the padding, I can keep it around for certain times.
As for the band, I knew it'd be too big because it's a 70 rather than 65, and this particular model is very stretchy. No big deal, I'll adjust it at some point as the bra stretches out more.
EDIT: Hokay, soooo I figured out that for whatever reason, Ewa put the cut that allows you to remove padding on the other side. Took them out and it's actually still a little small (but there is no hilarious bouncing like when the padding is in). Band is stretchier than any of my other 70Gs (which are all too big in the band as they're 70s) and I need to put it on the tightest hook, but cup fits about like a 70FF. I don't care though cause it's pretty and I love it. One cup size difference for me isn't awful because I can shove my boobs where they should be, and they stay there for the most part. Might be a hindrance at some point, but for now it works fine. Read more 283 more words
So I don't know what the deal was last time I bought this bra, but I'd ordered 75FF after hearing that the band ran pretty tight. I was surprised to find a 70FF when it showed up on my doorstep. At first the too small cups weren't a bother (and the band was definitely tighter than a 70 should be, which is good for me as I'm a 65), but then when I heard about another group order, I noticed there was a 70G still available, so I went for it (I will be selling the 70FF). I wore the ill-fitting one a couple of times for no ...more than an hour tops each time because while it didn't look bad through shirts, it just bugged me.
So here I am with my properly fitting (cup-wise) 70G, and I'm much happier. Annoyingly, this actually fits TTS for 70. That means that I'm immediately on the tightest hook. That's okay, but I'd have preferred it to be tighter like it was supposed to be!
But I digress....
Anyway, this bra is lovely, and I'm super happy to have it in a cup size that actually fits. Once it stretches out, I'll have my mom help me take in the band. Another A+ for EM bras! Read more 104 more words
As I found last year with EM's S-cut, I don't like it as much as the PL. I do like having unpadded options in summer, though, and this summer has been unusually warm where I am, so I ordered another one!
The lace on this is not as soft as I would like; it's not painful to wear but I do notice it. I'm hoping it will soften up after a couple washes.
If you'd be interested in selling, let me know! I was about to order this exact same size. :)
