Good golly that is a tight band! There is no way my poor 30" ribcage could possibly fit in this thing. Though I did make a best effort to hold it in place in order to judge the rest of the fit. The fabric on the cups is also very stiff, it felt almost like a sports bra. The top of the cups were too tight for me, and I was spilling out of the sides above the end of the wire.

May be good for those with smaller ribcages, but I would recommend sizing up in the cup.

Band length: The band is a true 30" band, so on my 27" underbust, it feels a bit too loose and rides up on me.

Cups: On my 28FF/G breasts, the cups are too small. However, it doesn't look too bad since it is a full cup and it doesn't cut on top of my breasts. It also have a side support so my breasts don't have the east-west look in it. The centre gore also comes high up on me, which is not a problem for me because I don't mind it. At first it looks like it sits flush against my sternum, however, after I took it ... off, the red marks shows that it sits on my breasts tissue, albeit not too much. The cup separation also is a bit too wide for me. I will have to take in the centre gore. The sides don't come up too high, so it doesn't poke my armpit.

Lift: It doesn't lift too much, even though I have shorten the straps quite a lot. Maybe it's because I'm wearing a band size too big. Nevertheless, it doesn't look droopy either.

Appearance: The colour 'blackberry' is a gorgeous deep purple. Unfortunately the seaming where the lace part on top meets the satin part shows under my thin knit top.

Overall: It's a beautiful and comfortable bra. I'd still wear it even though it is too small for me.

Band is nice and snug. VERY high though, and tends to poke me more and more through the day. Also cuts into my arm at the front.
The cup is good though, completely encompasses me while for balcony bras I need a bigger cupsize.
Oh, and it is very very pretty.

This one runs at least one cup size large for me. It's very comfortable, nothing pokes or digs, and best of all it's smooth! The padding is very thin but stiff so it doesn't add size at all but there's no way anything will show through it. To give an idea...I can manage to comfortably breastfeed in Cleo Juna and Ewa Michalak HP but there's no way I can fold this down enough, I have to unhook the back which is a pain. But the other two have seams and there are times when I need a smooth bra...this is awesome for that.

I have ... it in nude, very plain but it does have a few bows on it. Shape is pretty rounded but not flattened / minimized at all. I am still getting used to my proper bra size but it seemed very tight in the band at first, loosened up a lot within 4-5 wears though and I'd say it's a true 30. I wish it came in a 28 band. Extremely comfortable, I can forget it's even on although that may be because the band is on the looser side. Shape and support don't seem to suffer because of this.

I have gotten some wrinkling in the bottom of the cups with wear...doesn't show at all under shirts and doesn't affect shape or support much. Would definately buy again...the best seamless option I've tried. If I get a chance I will try one cup size up though, I do get slight quadboob at times (my size fluctuates a lot at the moment).

This came in a recent order, and at first I wasn't sure about it. And then I put it on.

Yowza, it is extremely comfortable and I love the shaping it gives me.

The only downside is that the bra is patterned in black and white, and this shows through a light shirt. I wouldn't wear a dark bra with such a light shirt, but the orange T is my go-to for trying on bras. The white patterning is not visible under a black shirt.

    It's a definite keeper!

This just came in a recent bra order. It fits pretty well, I'm just deciding if I want to keep it or not. I'm leaning to returning this and keeping the Helena. It's a pretty bra, but I like the look of the other better.

It's a good work bra and a nice UW lounge round the house bra. It's by no means pretty, I have the nude though I see on the Fantasie site they now have a nice red.
The wires are about 1cm too short for the casing which is a minor peeve.

I only tried on this bra in a local shop, but I did not buy it as it did not fit me very well.

    General comments:

I have only just hopped on the correct-size-bra-band-wagon and still very much in the process of figuring out what works for me. This is not made any easier by the fact that I am breastfeeding (10 months and counting) and still am not used to fact that I have BREASTS, as opposed to my pre-pregnancy 'breasts'. Also, because of breastfeeding, my size, shape and density isn't exactly constant. Anyway, I've so far found only two bra models in a size 60 band (both Freya) ... in local stores and this review is for one of them. I tried this bra on in 65E only.

    Bra description:

A reasonably okay-looking bra made out of black mesh with cream embroidery in a floral pattern. I wasn't smitten, but wanted to try ANY bra with a band size smaller than 70, so I tried this one too.

    Fit:

The band didn't feel THAT snug. In fact, I could quite easily close it at the tightest hook. The centre gore laid nice and flat though, something I haven't seen too often before.

The cups were a decidedly less successful story, though not as disastrous as the ones on two Freya models I tried at the same time. The underwires only JUST encircled my breasts, but not convincingly so. I would have preferred them wider, but with the band size not optimum I did not see a point in trying a larger size. The cups actually ALMOST fit -- there was only some slight wrinkling at the top of the left one, my slightly smaller breast. Slight tightness along the edges of the cups, though, again, not as badly cutting into my breasts as the Freyas did. The shape the cups gave me was just ... meh. Not very lifted at all, pointy, East-West -- pretty much as if I wasn't wearing any bra at all. It also didn't feel supportive and the fabric less than comfortable against my skin.

    Conclusion:

Not for me, this bra. It didn't do anything for my wide-set, wide-based, not too voluminous breasts. The search continues.

I usually wear a 32G/30H, but have had this bra in a 32FF. I decided to try it in the 32G, and WHOA! It fits so much better.

It is extremely comfortable. The fabric for the cups is fairly stretchy (thus why I can wear the FF), but still very supportive.

It's a seamless bra, so good under t-shirts. Also, some of the advertising for this bra calls it "molded"... it's not lined, padded, or shaped. It's basically the unlined, unpadded, unshaped version of the 4510.

The only potential "drawback" for me is that my breasts apparently sit quite close together, and even though the center wires on this bra are close together, they spread my breasts a bit.

I like this bra very much and intend to get another in this better size in black.

THIS IS A GREAT BRA. Wonderful support, and I got it on sale! I am so happy with this bra. I have had problems in the past finding bras that fit, but for once, this finally worked out. I was alarmed at my size, since I had lost weight, I figured my breasts would be smaller...but I just went down in band size, up a cup. It doesn't poke, its extremely comfortable, and super sexy! It didn't stretch out on the first wash, although my secret to keeping a great bra? Use a salad spinner (I also used specific bra detergent). The only con is, if you get it full price it can be super expensive, otherwise...GO FOR IT!

This cup size is clearly too large for me -- there's a lot of emptiness in the top and the look was very pointy. The cups were tending to flip up, so there was digging at the sternum. The best thing about it is that I have no back roll with it. I tried it in other sizes (I'm not going to list them all) and it seems as though a 32E might be good (the one size I didn't order, of course), but the profile is pretty pointy, so I'm not going to bother trying that size. I don't think it's supportive enough for me and the straps are too narrow. It is pretty, though!

I now understand that the band is too big for me too!

This bra has served me really well over the years. I have two of the same model and size.Although I have outgrown the cups (which do run a little large, I think,) I still use it because it looks okay under clothing. It stays in place well and give the breasts a nice shape, and though it is not as supportive on me as it used to be, it has definitely retained its original measurements and appearance really well.

    Moulded cup in "Mocha" color.

Most of my favorite bras are Fantasie moulded cups from 2010-2011. I took a chance ordering a beautiful brown shade from ebay hoping the fit would be the same. I haven't yet found out what season this bra is from but since the tags are a different design and it is a bit tougher to find online I think it must be from at least 3 years ago. *July 6, 2012 Edit: I think I just found out it's from 2007!

The materials are the exquisite quality I would expect from Fantasie: high quality moulded cups, fully adjustable and nicely stretchy straps, beautiful embroidery details. ... There are only two things that are different than my other Fantasie bras: the band is very stretchy and I could do it up on the final hook immediately, so it fits more like a loose-30 or an actual-32. The wing height is a bit shorter than I am used to or prefer and so some of my tissue seems to escape out of the side. I would probably appropriate this as a good fitting 32F.

I will see if one of my friend's can fit this and if she can it is a gift. It was a great deal even with shipping. If not, I may just occasionally wear it started on the 3rd hook and enjoy a beautiful new addition to my drawer. At least for a season! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

    Measured unstretched before wearing.
    Purchased mid-June '12 from eBay.

I bought simultaneously two different sizes of this bra, one was 32J and this 32JJ.

This was too big for me and I couldn't quite fill the cups. The bra is very pretty and nice at touch.
It seems very stretchy in the band and has a little pointy look; it could be just because it's not my size, but I also noticed the same on the 32J bra.

  15. Evie Underwire Balcony Bra (2102)

The bra is a lovely shade of pink, but I'm usually not so keen on netting-type material for cups. The material is coarse and underwiring goes quite high up the sternum, so it was leaving red marks and irritating me at first. After a bit of wearing in, this no longer seems to be a problem for me, but I'd advise anyone with ribcage-depth-problems to be careful with this one. I now find the bra entirely comfortable.
Even if the material of the bra is not my favourite, I LOVE the shape of it. It has a lot of lift and I'd recommend it for anyone who likes the ... kind of bra that is more prominent side-on.
What else? The material around the top is sometimes a bit loose depending on my movements, mostly due to the fact that my breasts are not so full on the top. It's not really a problem though.

Update: My measurements changed in a short time and now the band rides up all the time and drives me crazy, even on the tightest hook (not due to stretching - I haven't worn it out enough for that). I still really love the shape though, so I'll be trying to take the band in and make it tighter.

This just came from Breakout Bras; it was a size and style recommended by the fitter based on other bras I own and those that I've returned. At first I was a little uncertain about it, because I have never worn a molded bra. And I don't love the way it looks when I wear it (just in the bra)... because it makes me feel booby and fat (booby yes, fat no).

HOWEVER, it is super comfortable and it looks GREAT under clothes, so it's a keeper.

There is lovely lace detail under the cups along the wire, and just to the sides of the cups as well.

I tried on the 32FF (I think) and the 32G (I know) in this bra. I poof over the top of the 32G, so Breakout Bras sent the 32GG. The top of the cup fits great, I don't poof, however, I don't quite fill the cup. The wires don't sit under my breast, but rather half an inch below, on my ribs... I can't adjust it so that the breasts sit against the wire. It is comfortable enough, though I'm not sure it would remain so. I've got an email in to the fitter at Breakout Bras to ask.

However, if it is right for you, it's a nice bra, simple, but not super-plain.

I originally reviewed this bra in a size 30F, but it was just too small in the cup for me so now I own it in a 30FF and the cups fit much better. This bra is very smooth under my clothes, and the nude color is undetectable under a thin white shirt. The band is still too big for me and rides up quite a bit in the back but I plan to take the band in for a better fit. I like how the straps are plain and not too thick and not too thin. I’m able to wear a regular tank top without the straps hanging out too noticeably. I still like the fact that that there is not a single piece on this bra that itches. Depending on how it fits after I take in the band, I may purchase in black.

Cups aren't quite big enough, however I think a G cup might be too big (I don't have access to a G so I can't say for sure). I suspect I may be in-between cup sizes. Center gore doesn't quite touch my sternum, this could be because the cups are too small however I think the gore still would not touch even if the cups were the correct size.

I can't quite fill the bottom of the cups, and the underwire sits uncomfortably beneath the breasts. I feel this is because the breast tissue can't fill the very bottom of the cups, so it pushes the whole underwire and ... cup down slightly, causing the underwire to sit too low on my ribs. (The band is not too loose, that is not the issue.)

Profile view from the front is a tiny bit wider than I like, but it would not be a deal-breaker if the bra fit everywhere else. Profile view from the side is not what I would call extremely round, but it is "fairly" round. Straps are a bit too far apart which is a very common problem for me, but a strap accessory in the back takes care of this.

Overall this seems like a nice bra, but it's just not compatible with my body. This review is for the Ivory color of this bra.
