This is another bra I purchased from a local boutique before I discovered Bratabase & r/ABTF. I was told to wear it on the tightest hook from day one. I'm ashamed to say I should have known better but I digress.
I’ve only worn it once, maybe twice to try it on. Even on the tightest hook, it doesn't seem supportive. The band rides up in the back after several minutes. The gore sits flush & there is adequate cup separation. There is no poking.
If I were desperate I'd look into having it altered. For now, I have many other options.
I will hand-wash & air dry, then return to measure it.
Nice bra. A little wide in the wires for me, but I'm very narrow. Soft, comfy fabric. I wish the top panel was not lace so it clothing would lie flat over it.
unfortunately i wasn't even able to fasten this bra; it fits and measures like a 28 band. i did try it on with an extender, and cups were too wide, and i could not fill the bottom of the cup. sad!
Band fine but cups completely wrong shape for my boobs - graduate outwards but I'm more centre full, so top of cups was cutting in and creating quadding yet the top of the cups was empty. Completely wrong shape for me, but was really comfy under the arms
Got this in the steel blue; very pretty blue-gray-purple color. Did not fit me. Straps are way too wide set, I have wide shoulders as it is. I don't think my band size is correct as I could fit way more than my whole hand under the band. The cups are a bit too big for me, but not by too much. The gore felt nice, didn't come up as high as some Elomi bras have, but it didn't sit quite flush, may have been too wide as I noticed when measuring it that the gore is about 2.5 cm vs 2 cm I've been getting. Aside from ...the fit.....the biggest problem I had with this bra was the SMELL!!!!! I don't know if it was from shipping, is shipped that way from Fantasie (first bra purchase by them), or if someone else returned this bra after keeping it in an incense box or not. I can't quite put my finger on the smell, its not bad, exactly, but its overpowering. I could smell it before taking it out of the two plastic bags it was in, inside of the shipping bag. I hope this is the only bra from Fantasie that has this smell or I may not be able to purchase anything from them. Read more 108 more words
This felt so good when I first put it on but then the underwire started slipping below my IMF. Disappointed! It is a lovely basic if it fits your shape. I think the cups are maybe not projected enough at the bottom for me. Returned.
Too much front projection. Pushes boobs forward. Uncomfortable around front of shoulder/armpit area, especially when moving arms forward. Maybe a non-side support bra from Fantasie would fit better.
Love the stretch feel of this bra but something doesn't sit right in the cups. The top section is one layer and thinner while the side and bottom are two layer. Get slight cone boob in this because of the different seams pulling. Wire feels a tad to wide on the side so I don't know if it will be good to go a cup size up. Center gore lays flat and is pretty narrow but in one of the pics you can see how close set I am when pulling gore away from me. Close to a perfect bra but not the perfect bra.
The underwire fits well and doesn't dig. The feel of the fabric is rough and doesn't feel great. Coverage is good. There is spillage near middle yet there is gapping at the top up to the strap.
Got a size M, I usually wear M in clothes so.. well the band is so big it doesn't give any support. The "cups" (it's just a mono-cup bra, no separation or cup inserts etc it's just a basic smooth bralette) might fit like, an E cup at most. this M size I'd recommend for like a 34-36 band, max E cups. but because of the construction you might spill out the sides then.
nice material, it's very smooth I'll give them that, but not made for bigger chests.
My poor left boob doesn't want to stay in this bra. The band is stretchier than the other Fantasie bras I've tried but not overly so. I love the design overall so I'm going to try a larger cup size next.
This used to be my go-to bra, and now it doesn't fit me. Weight gain and loss combined with menopause have made my breast a bit less self-supported and a bit more full on bottom. This bra doesn't seem to have enough immediate projection for me. Bottom of the cup: My breasts fill out the bottom of the cup, and there is wrinkling/pulling of the bottom of the cup. The wires also push down. I'm not sure if that's from the wires being too narrow or the lack of immediate projection in the molded cup. Top of the cup: There is wrinkling due to empty cup space. The ABTF subreddit has a list of bras classified by projection and whether they are a fit for FOT, even, or FOB breasts. This bra is in the projected and FOT category. That explains why it's not a fit for me.
