This bra has a 3 part soft cup. It is like a balconette style. My breasts are pendulous and close set, so this style is perfect for me. The wires at the gore literally touch. I'm not as full on top as I used to be, so there is a little wrinkling at the top, but it's acceptable. Under tee shirts, there is a line across the breasts, but it's minimal and doesn't bother me.
This bra felt way too tight for my ~30" underbust measurement. The cup fit nicely on my right breast, but smashed my left breast in an unflattering way making my side profile seem square.
I think the band is too tight for me, and I need to stick with size 40 bands. I did try it with the band extender and there was no improvement. The band tightness distorted the wires, causing wrinkling in the bottom of the cups. The underwire won’t stay in my IMF, which is a problem I experience with many bras. I don’t like the shape it gives me either. The wires could sort of fit my roots, but since they were distorted, it's hard to judge the fit accurately, other than saying that it's terribly wrong for my shape and the wrong size. The gore felt too high for me as well.
My shape is: very wide roots, short/med root height, close set, med projection, slightly center-full, and functionally full-on-bottom.
This bra gives me a very pointy shape (more natural looking I guess). Not a big fan of it. On top of that, I find the sides very itchy. Can't wear it for long.
The cups are quite narrow and not very flexible, the bottom of the cup folded in although the cups were too small. The wires are also a bit uncomfortable and I don't like the appearance very much.
Revisting all the bras in my give-away pile, now that I am losing weight. The center gore on this bra is wider than my older Fantasie bras and that is not idea. Until recently, the cups and band were too small. Now it all fits well. Welcome back, Lois 34E!
I've tried on and own multiple 30E Fantasie side support bras, and compared to them, this one is definitely bigger in the cup. Fortunately I seem to be outgrowing my 30E's so this one works for me at this time, but some may want to consider sizing down.
I grabbed this bra off Amazon for under $12. I have struggled to find wireless bras that I can sleep in that fit me and are not too expensive. I usually wear a 30F-30FF and fantasie bands are generally too loose for me in a 30. I took a chance I got this in a 32F hoping that it would at least be Snug enough to prevent too much moclvement while sleeping and lounging around the house. I was very surprised that it fits well!
When I tried it in I hooked the band on the tightest hooks but I think for ...sleep I'll actually be able to move to the middle hooks.
The lace fabric is not the softest by any means but it doesn't itch or scratch my sensitive skin. I'm hoping it will soften up with wear and a few washes.
The cups fit well and it doesn't squish my breasts flat or squish them into each other. Without an underwire this bra does give me a side boob buldge but idc about that.
I mostly wanted this to lift support while sleeping and lounging but it had really good support for a wireless bra. The best support I've found in any wireless to date! Read more 105 more words
This is so close. I wonder if cupping down might address my fit issues or if that would just result in quading.
The shape on this is a little pointy for my taste, though also an indicator to try a cup down. It is comfortable, the lace doesn't dig in on top. It has some immediate projection and reasonably wide wires. The gore is a little wide for me. And I am getting folding on the underside of the cup.
The lace is gorgeous, I just love everything about how this bra looks. The top of the cups do have elastic, so it will conform well to your shape. This could be problematic for those with tall roots.
Lots of projection. Provides a lifted, separated shape.
This is close but something is off. It rides about a centimeter below my inframammary fold and the band seems tight. It has the shape and open top that I'm seeking with no quadding for me.
I did not have high hopes for this bra, I have had very bad luck with UK brands recently and Fantasie is the only brand I ever had a shape issue with before reaching my current size. But! It was only about $20, so I had to try it anyway.
This is the weirdest fitting bra I have ever had. It is SO shallow. The cups are very wide and not projected at all. It gaped and wrinkled all around but was actually smooshing my boob straight back into my rib cage. The wire did not sit in the right place at all and the center gore gaped terribly. Somehow, the outside of the bottom of the cup was so badly not supporting my boob that it was folded over as if i had just placed a napkin in my IMF. The top of the cup also had a weird thing happening with the fabric, it seemed like my boob was pulling the lining down but not the outer fabric, so it was bunching up oddly.
Really like the way it looks. Thought on initial try on that it was very comfortable, but realized that after wearing for a few hours, it gets uncomfortably tight.
This wires in this bra fit perfectly - not too far apart, no poking, and band is firm enough to provide good support. Straps are too wide for my very narrow shoulders, and the top of the cup is lace, so I will need to add some fabric under the lace for an anchor and move the straps so they don't cut in to my arm when I move.
Honestly, with as hard as it's been to find any bra that fits, I'm grateful I found something that I can wear with wires that sit in the right place.
The quality of this bra is good. The fabric, straps and seams look good. With that said, it totally strangles me around the rib cage. It's comfortable at first and then quickly becomes a torture device.
I bought this bra at bravissimo in person on a recent trip abroad. I'll be keeping it since its probably the bra that fits me best at this moment but I also have some fit issues: the straps feel slightly too far apart (they sit on the outer edges of my shoulders -- I feel like if I slouch a lot, they'll fall off...although they haven't yet.) The fabric around the band feels very firm but actually seems to stretch throughout the day. I ended up moving to the shortest hook after about 4 hours of wear today after ...starting on the longest. The gore sits flat on my sternum but the wires to seem to slightly push apart breast tissue which isn't the most comfortable. I feel like if the wires were 2 cm shorter or so close they were touching, it would be much more comfortable.
I will also echo the warning about being careful when flipping the bra over from upside down -- the sudden snap REALLY hurts.
What I'm working with: I'm about average height and build w/ slightly narrow shoulders. My breasts are conical (2/4) but my tissue is pretty firm all around (except around the areola so squishing to be more round feels ok.) As far as I can tell, average projection, spacing is about 1.5 fingers' width. Read more 124 more words
