This Fantasie Caroline Plunge Bra was one of two bras that I got in the mail today in size UK30FF. This Bra is lovely with its beautiful design, fabric and construction but unfortunately the Bra isnt right for me. After black lingerie, delicate pink florals are my next favorite choice. I find this bra so pretty, and wish it fit me. The 3 part construction reminds me of my other Fantasie Bra (Fusion 30G) The wires are less firm and uncomfortable than my Fusion, but still firmer than the underwire of some other bras I own. The construction of the cups brings my breasts ...forward which isn't bad. The cups shape isn't ideal for me, it feels like it's wide and tall at the wrong places and narrow in others. It's not super uncomfortable, but its not very flattering on me either. The top of the cups is kind of closed in so there's not much for cleavage on me (despite this being a Plunge style) I also feel like because I am petite and my shoulders are narrow, it can can change up how the Bra sits. I pulled the Bra straps outwards farther than where they sit comfortably on my shoulders and it changed the fit of the Bra cups..The straps aren't too far apart or too close together, I am under 4 ft 9 and my ribcage has more depth than width so proportionally I think my narrow body and short stature just changes how it sits on me. This is a 30 band worn on the tightest setting, 28 bands are much better but it's so much easier to find the larger size that sometimes I go for it and pray the band is firm. The Band works for now but with much wear it would stretch and put strain on my shoulders. This bra is lovely and probably looks great on others but unfortunately it is not the Bra for me so J will likely rehome this one. The Freya Bra from today fit better at least so I am not too bummed. Bummer that your Caroline Plunge wasn't a grea tfit either, but this colorway is so pretty! Maybe the Caroline Side Support will work better? I didn't realize you are so petite btw, it might be a good idea to avoid blind-buying plunges. I am 5'1" and a lot of plunges come up way too high up on me so the proportions are usually off. I just stick with custom Comexims now with a reduced cup height/moved in strap/deeper cup and that helps a lot. Good luck!
Material is thin, but soft. Does not fit me at all, so difficult to accurately review. On me: Wrinkling in cups, bottom and top, gore sits high, wires poke in armpits, wires under breast hurt, shoulders hurt a lot.
Update: I’ve put on weight so I tried again. It seems to fit better overall but I had to use an extender for the strap. The sides are still not comfortable and it cuts into my armpits (tail of Spence).
I love the smooth fabric of this bra, so much so that I might keep it despite the slight fit issues. The cup separation is a bit too wide for me, making my girls look more east-west than they are normally. I also don't fill the bottom and sides of the cup, another indicator that it's too wide and shallow for my shape. It is extremely comfortable, though.
Fits decently. Pretty. Has a lot of projection, which is good - but results in a slight bullet shape. The lace on top of the cups is a bit loose and gaps/wrinkles when my shoulders are relaxed. The lace on the underwire is kinda scratchy, as well. The embroidered décor and the contrasting pattern makes it very visible through clothing. Unfortunately not for me because of these reasons. The material is very soft, though.
Unfortunately, the straps are very wide set, so it digs into my armpits. Too bad, because it was a pretty good fit otherwise. Band does runs very firm, though. If the straps weren’t a problem, I’d try it in a 32DD.
30E was too small, but 30F was too big. Guess this is just the wrong shape for me, which I’m disappointed about, because the narrow-ish strap placement isn’t too bad. Unstretched band on the 30E measured a good inch longer than the 30F, but 30F felt less restrictive, I guess because the cup depth fit much better. Cups on the 30F got much taller and wider, however. Fit my larger side quite well, but I’m left with too much wrinkling at the top of my smaller side for me to feel good about it.
Just a little too small, which I think is what’s making the band feel tight. Cups are kind of closed off at the top, which caused a bit of quadding. Pretty bra with nice fabric.
This bra is extremely comfortable and gorgeous, there's slight wrinking at the top because I'm not as full on top, but it's accurate to my suggested size (30DDD US or F)
This bra's beautiful! I was drawn to it by the pictures on the Bravissimo site while browsing for other bras, and the embroidery's even prettier in person. Covers both cups from wire to wire, and even extends up the straps, a touch I really like. Fits me very well- very wide wires, really short cups, and pretty closed off on top. This bra does give a bit of a different shape from the Bravissimo bras I'm used to- a lot of side support, so it really projects my breasts forward, giving a pointier shape.
This is a great bra and you should keep trying on larger sizes until you reach the size that is too big for you. Go back to the next smaller size and assess it's fit from there.
Almost a perfect fit! Super comfortable and looks good under shirts, but the center gore is too wide and digs into breast tissue. This is the closest match I've had so far!
This Belle seems to be made for more shallow and wider set breasts. Definitely not the right projection and narrow width that I need. The fabric is a bit scratchy, too.
I like the soft fabric of this bra with the power mesh on the top of the cups. The cups are slightly shallow, but not too much. This bra is moving my breasts to an east-west shape, much wider than they are naturally. It's not a good look for me, but might be good for somebody with more separation. The top of the cups is digging into my tissue, which happens when there is a tight line of elastic along the tops of the cups, which this does have.
Beautiful bra with soft fabric on the bottom of the cups and non-stretchy lace on the tops. The band elastic is a bit scratchy. This bra seems shallow as I have at least a lot of fabric laying flat below my IMF, and the gore sticks out towards the top of the wires, creating a cup gap at the top of the cup. The cup width is also much wider than I like.
That overall it's very well-made and comfortable and looks great under shirts, but it's for someone whose breasts are a tad farther apart than mine are.
