True to size (band and cup). Good for my narrow breasts, but a bit of extra room in the bottom and side of the cup (the shape of the underwire is wrong/too wide for me).
This bra actually fits me. It is sufficiently narrow in gore & cup width to fit (which is almost rare). It is true to size for band and cup as well. It is a bit pointy in the cups though, extending the breasts out further forward rather than squishing them to the side. It is a lot of lace, with a mostly sheer upper half, but the nipple tends to fall nicely in the covered lower half (which doesn't always happen with these upper shear bras). There is a slightly amount of elasticity in the upper cup band, which helps eat up the slack if my shoulders are leaning forward, but cuts into the breast tissue slightly when I pull my shoulders all the way back (so that it appears to slightly quad-boob, even though the cup size fits).
I bought this from a thrift store, so it might have loosened and stretched out before it got to me. I have upside down seven shape in it. It doesn't fit, but sadly, it's my current best fitting bra.
I bought it before I found the 5-measurement calculator which puts me closer to a 30FF/G. I'm not certain that's my true size yet, but it does explain some of the fit problems I have with this bra.
It doesn't give me the best shape, but I've learnt that I really like how secure I feel in bras with firm side support like this. It might be the only reason why it still sort of worked for me, secondhand.
I love the look of this bra, but CANNOT wear this gore, (too high, too wide, ouch ouch ouch!) it leaves me bruised and tender for days. The band is very stretchy, even loose. Quality wise, the top edge of one cup came curled in (with tags on).
I ordered the wrong size on accident so I knew it wouldn't fit me, but I still tried it on. It's nice looking with pretty lace and it seems like the cups would breathe really well. It doesn't have enough immediate projection for me (even if the cups were large enough). I would like to try other models of this brand to see if they have a shape that fits me.
I'd say the Smoothing is TTS and completely unnoticeable under clothes. The moulded cup is not too thick, there's no padding, which is great - it gives a nice rounded shape in this size and hides the unevenness totally. The high gore is OK for me, no poking at all. My only problem with it is that the angle doesn't work for me 100% - I might need to sew a dart in the gore to modify the angle of the cups. Also, this bra made me realize that my roots really are taller than I originally thought. All in all, I am very happy with the results of this braswap. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
I love this bra. I really wish it was made in a 28 band, because I measure 28-29" around my ribcage and can already fasten the 30 band on the tightest hook if I really wanted to and I've only had it a week. I've been wearing it on the middle hook, hoping not to stretch it out too fast. This is a full coverage bra, and the cups run big. Just something to keep in mind. The cups do curve in slightly at the top.
ETA - Now that I have a better understanding of my size, I realize this is all wrong for me. I wasn't scooping & swooping. When I do, it's tiny. The shape isn't far off from what my narrow projected boobs need, but if I bought it big enough it would be too wide.
Fantastic, comfy fit. I was expecting a cleavage, but that is not happening here. At first the bra seemed big at the top, but I kinda "grew" into it - possibly it just took my shape and now fits close to perfect. Maybe the wires are a tad wide.
Great design, excellent comfort, good support, snug band, but gives me a shape that is a lot more pointy than I'd prefer. I'm shaped much more pointy than most, so I have no idea what this would look like on others. I'd assume whatever your natural shape is, this bra will not conceal it too well. If you're more rounded, have average roots, maybe slightly narrow, need some projection, or are pointy and don't want a bra to conceal it, Rimini is probably good for you. It's incredibly comfortable, and I wish I could wear it. It also gives a very centered, up front appearance. This bra probably wouldn't be good ...for anyone who has a lot of separation, unless you're like me and look separate until a bra lifts you a bit, and then you need a less wide gore. This bra is also really dainty but gorgeous. As I said, I wish I could wear it. I'm going to keep it around for a few months after going back on spironolactone, and if it still looks weird on me, it'll be listed.
Wires appear to be for average to slightly narrow roots. I really wish this bra looked better on me xD lol
Edit: I just tried this on again, and wow. This just isn't working for me. By measurements, it should. I think the side support throws things off a little. It pushes my breast tissue and makes my boobs look thinner than usual. I also measured it and there's a lot more room on top, so narrow wired, FoT, semi even, close set bra. I think I need to hike the bra up, but if I do that, the bottom is filled and the top gapes. Ugh. This bra is gorgeous but it makes me feel terrible about myself. So long, pretty thing. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> Read more 195 more words
This bra was pretty full-coverage compared to my usual half cups, but I wouldn't have minded it so much if the shape worked better for me. It was too closed on top and slightly too projected, so it cut in while still leaving a little space inside the cup. Also, the straps were center-pull straps, which I really dislike personally (though I know lots of other people love them!). They just didn't give me the lift that I like. And of course the band was too loose. The color was nice (light turquoise), but the bra was otherwise a boring t-shirt bra.
I absolutely loved this bra. It was a perfect fit (excepting the very loose band), but I personally would use a bra like this as a boudoir sort of thing, so I minded the loose band less on this one than I did on the Deco Vibe. The sheer fabric with the opaque swirls was so gorgeous and it made my boobs look awesome!
The bra is very comfortable, if a little tight. It makes my breasts look pretty small, and a little pointy. No bullet shape, which is great, but the color doesn't work under a white t-shirt and my nipples can be easily seen because of the lack of padding.
This bra is far too large for me. I am usually a 28F and I would say this bra is 2-3 cups too large. The band is snug for a 30 and the fabric seems high quality. This seems like a full coverage bra, so I probably won't be trying it in a smaller size because I'm petite and sometimes full coverage can feel like too much even though it fits well.
gr8! Really, actually fit, which is novel for me. The cup fabric is thin but sturdy, flexible, and really comfy. The band is sturdy, too, and a very firm 30. If you're asymmetrical, you might have a little creasing on one side or wrinkling on the other, but it all goes away under a shirt. I would describe it as very true to size and the golden standard to which all my other bras are compared.
This bra is extremely secure and well made. Although it's a plunge, it seems to be made for much taller frames (the cup fabric seems excessive on my body). The gore on this bra also sits a lot lower than some of my @cleo bras even though they have the same height. No more sternum bruises! Unfortunately the bra cuts on top because it's better suited for full on bottom shapes.
I absolutely loved the fit of this bra! It was absolutely perfect in every way, as if it had been moulded on my boobs. Sadly... I didn't like the shape. It was way too mature for me, or should I say old-fashioned. It gave me a pointy shape, like madonna's classic cone-bra. So I returned it.
