I have this bra in nude and black. It's so subtle and lovely. The profile is nice and lifted, close to the chest with just enough of a point to give off a slightly retro vibe without looking like I'm smuggling torpedoes. The gore is a bit tall for me, I end the day with a red mark where it's been digging in that takes ages to fade (I mark easily, though). The cups fit smooth, the seaming doesn't show too bad even under thin tops. Very firm fabric with minimal stretch. The band is super comfortable.
I really wanted this bra to work out, unfortunately the cup is too small for me ( 30E ). I think I need to size up 1-2 cups. I also found that while the band is snug I prefer it to be tighter. I can very easily hook it on the tightest ones ( I'm 28.5in around the rib cage ). Otherwise it seems fine, loved the red color.
Oh my. This bra is the first to ever 100% fit me. Normally I consider a looser band or a cup wrinkle a fair price to pay if everything else fits. The Sarah Plunge makes all of my "nearly fits" suddenly pale! It helps that it is aesthetically pleasing, too.
I found it very comfortable, but towards the end of the day the straps started to dig in. It's pretty stretchy, but I bought it used, and it is snug enough on the smallest hook. The material is also a tad itchy. But I am so pleased with this bra!
Later edit: After the initial glory of having a bra that actually fits (!) wore off, I noticed that I dislike the shape of this one. It makes the breasts appear somewhat angular.
This bra is too narrow for me https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> I definitely recommend it to someone who likes EM or Comexim style narrowness
Simple, adequate strapless bra. Also comfortable with the straps, though they are a little too far apart for my frame. Without straps my boobs aren't quite as pretty and perky as with my normal bras. The plastic thingies to keep the bra from sliding are a little uncomfortable, but they do their job, and I expect this behaviour from a strong and tight strapless bra.
The wires, I could write songs about how well the wires sit and how they fit comfortably flush and encompass all of my squishy soft side-boob tissue. The wires are the reason I'm keeping this bra even though the cups don't fit. I have a relatively wide root, and with most bras am constantly scooping my boobs back to front and center, this bra definitely does that for me and holds all my side-boob where I need it to be.
The band I'd heard was very stretchy, this is true, I sized down and it feels like most 32 bands do on me. I'm able to fit a full ...hand under it in the back, but it is still firm enough to stay where I put it. So no complaints there.
The cups though... I'm fairly FOB and way too shallow for these cups, and as a result of them pushing me to center I get a really weird Very pointy silhouette that looks way droopier than I am in real life? Think Madonna, but with the apex of the cups pushing the apex of my boobs to point down.
The fabric is super soft, mildly see through, the seams all hit at my nipples, which makes the pointiness look even more extreme. I have fairly prominent nipples as it is, I dont need my bra making it worse... There were a few stray threads hanging out on the embroidery, but all in all the fabric and the construction look well done.
I think I'm going to try to make the cups a bit rounder and hopefully that will resolve the madonna cone-bra look that is currently going on. Read more 167 more words
This bra is gorgeous but it doesn't fit. The cups didn't give me quadboob like other bras in this size, and it didn't gape at the top of the cup either, but the rest of the cup was wrinkly at the top. The most prominent wrinkles were diagonal from around the top of my armpit to my nipple. Despite the wrinkles, the bra was comfortable (but I think the band was a little big.) Too bad the bra doesn't doesn't fit because it is adorable. The cups and band are a black mesh and the cups have pink flowery embroidery on them. There is a small bow on the gore and where the straps meet the bra in the front. The straps seem sturdy although the whole bra is a little stiff.
Not a match for me. I'm not FOT enough to fill out the upper section of the cups. The wires are too wide toward the bottom, and also too short, allowing the fabric at the outside top of the cups and wings to flare outward from my body. The gore height is also not compatible with my close-set breasts.
A lot of the issues I noticed with this bra echo those I experienced with Wacoal's Embrace Lace Underwire T-shirt Bra in 30DD and 30E. The wings and straps cut in uncomfortably around my armpit area, and leave a few unattractive bulges near my tail of spence. It's hard to tell in a moulded bra like this, but since my breast tissue is much more full near the inside of my breasts, I'm not really filling the outer sides of the cups. I'm also close-set, and gores as high as this one just don't work for me.
I love this bra, and wear it often, although it is just a bit too small. slight quadboob along the lace and the rest of the cup feels slightly small. I also have the 30F, which feels a little big, so... I wear both anyway because they are the most comfortable bras I have found thus far.
I've had this bra about a year, and it has held up well to regular wearings. The inside/lining of the cups is very smooth and comfortable.
This bra is STUNNING! Wow - sexy yet elegant, incredibly soft lace. I am so sad that it doesn't work for me. I didn't get a very good picture of it but on my larger side the top of my breast tissue escapes out creating a 'lump', despite the fact that I ordered my standard Fantasie size, 30E. And it certainly doesn't cover most of my breast even though it is supposed to be a full coverage bra (athough I don't get quad boob due to having sloping breast tissue). It almost feels like the cup is half a size too small. Also, the back feels stretchier than other Fantasie bras I own - I would probably try to size down in the back and up in the cup if Fantasie made a 28 back. Alas, it was not meant to be - so jealous of the women this bra will work for https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
Why o why did I wait so long to try Fantasie bras? I had assumed when Freya balcony bras no longer fit me properly the same would hold true for Fantasie as they are their sister brand - I was so wrong! The shapes Fantasie makes just work for my bottom heavy, teardrop breasts... and the Evie is no exception!
This bra is essentially the same shape as the Vivienne balcony which I also love. The colour is beautiful, and the lace is stunning too. I just love the way it looks and the shape it gives. I like the look of this style of bra best from the Fantasie lineup... although I think I prefer the shape given by Fantasie side support bras. I would say this shape is a little more 'pointed', whereas the side support bras give a slightly more rounded shape. I do love both though!
This bra feels really sexy on... the fit is just sublime. A bit tight around the ribcage (as front photo shows) but this bra definitely pulls you in from the sides and up out front... sexy! I love the side profile - a natural, uplifted look. I am very happy that I have found another Fantasie balcony style that works for my post breastfeeding breasts. Just not sure I am in love with the pattern... will have to think on in but might exchange for another side support model...
I have this bra in Ivory- got it for free, someone picked it up off their local Nordstrom Rack for cheap and offered it to me; who was I to say no?
Good thing, too- it's my best-fitting bra! And it's quite comfortable. I have a 1/5 shape, for reference, with average to narrow roots, and quite a bit of projection.
Unfortunately, it doesn't work well under thin tops- the seam where the lace mets the solid fabric, while not noticeable physically, is very noticeable visually.
This may end up being my new favourite moulded cup bra - the fit is sublime and gives a natural uplifted shape without adding too much bulk.
Feels a bit snug but this is my first wear. I am hoping that this will ease up after a few wears as otherwise the fit is great and the shape is ideal, in my opinion. If not, I will consider buying an extender to wear until it eases up a bit.
I love this bra! I have had a hard time finding a balcony bra style that works for me post-breastfeeding. I was a loyal Freya girl before but sadly, I have had a really hard time finding a non-molded bra from any of their collections that fit me properly. Before my children I was a 30F... I now wear a 30E and my breasts are less 'round' and more teardrop shaped. All of my bras in my collection are currently molded but the Vivienne is a game-changer - it fits perfectly and gives a lovely shape without padding. The wires are quite wide which works well for me ...and I have no problem filling out the top of this bra - which happens with the Freya balcony bra styles. There is a slight cutting in of the lace section on my larger breast (which can be seen in the picture) but not enough to warrant sizing up or exchanging the bra. I am guessing that with a few wears the lace will stretch out to accommodate this.
I would say this bra is good for women with bottom heavy, teardrop shaped breasts, and would likely not work well for those with full-on-top breasts. Aside from the fabulous fit, it is absolutely gorgeous! The lace is stunning and not scratchy at all! I am seriously in love https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Read more 125 more words
I just got this bra in the mail, so I haven't had a chance to get to know it yet. However, it seems really comfy, and I have no spillage out of the cups, so I'm happy. It looks like someone altered the tops of the cups, but I'm not complaining.
