Measured on tightest hook: Even though cup separation was marked as not a problem since it was not digging into breast tissue- very flattened shape with wires going up to the end of armpit. Buy smaller band, narrow gore.
This bra isn't bad on me, but nothing to write home about. I need narrower wires, and while the projection is ok, the wire placement eventually kinda shifts around (not unconfortably, just not the best fit). Looks decent though and I'm sure the shape it provides can serve a purpose for certain clothes/silhouettes. I'm glad the shape is different from the other couple Fantasies I have - a little more rounded, less east-west-ish, still a bit minimizing. I'd rank the quality higher except that the lace overlay is already pilling after a couple of wears...
Decent enough technical fit, other than being a bit too wide and a bit too shallow for my liking. Gave a very east-west appearance though which I immensely dislike, I prefer to downplay how splayed/separated my breasts are, so this is not the brand for me it seems.
It's a nice bra! It definitely doesn't have a lot of immediate center projection, which I usually need, but the construction of the cups allows for my boobs to spread out a bit in the cup so they aren't cut off by the lack of immediate center projection. Comfy.
I love the look of this bra. The magenta with the black lace is lovely. It only goes up to a G cup, so I tried the 32G since I vary between 32G/GG depending on the bra... Nope. I'd say it's true to size or runs a tad small, hard to tell to be honest. i tried the halfcup in the same size and while it fit better it is still a tad small ( but wearable). The lace top cut in considerably. Partly due to the small size but I also think partly due to the shape. This bra seems like it would be best for those who are FOB
This is the perfect "around the house" bra, almost more comfortable than not wearing one. I don't usually sleep in a bra but I will in this one. Band & cup are super stretchy so it fits more like a 34G.
This has been my go-to bra for at least five years. In part because it was the first bra I got into that was my actual size (and because I could also get it when my size fluctuated) and in part because, as a basic molded cup bra, it is perfectly fine. It is generally quite comfortable, even after 14 hours of wear. The quality is great - these bras really last. I like that it gives me a round shape and has nice nipple protection. Most of the time I fill the cup, but I can see that its molded shape would prevent some breasts from fitting well (FOT, probably). Appearance-wise, it is a basic bra - nothing flashy.
This is a beautiful, beautiful bra. The red and gold combination is stunning and the lace design is not overwhelmingly 'lacey', more like embroidery. Somehow, the ensemble reminds me of French tapestries...or turn of the century nhand painted wallpaper... Because it is so beautiful, I've kept it in my drawer for too long thinking I could somehow alter the cups to fit, but actually someone should have this bra to wear and treasure. It may be on the generous side of G, since it is unlined. Typical of all Fantasie creations, the construction is excellent and the finishing details are well done. The band is a little ...forgiving, the cups are deep at the bottom and apex, and the side support panels corral any outer fullness to bring it all in and up. Its called a plunge but I think its more a hybrid because the gore is not too low; there's enough support and coverage in the center so nothing falls out. The cups do come up a little taller than my other balconies, though. The profile (on me, bearing in mind it is too big) is more of a natural, uplifted green shape. The straps are partly adjustable and firm. The material is smooth and soft, even the lace top part. I don't think it would show under clothes. Such a beautiful confection under those clothes though! This bra is great for those that need that side support to control side boob. Also great lift for those with bottom heavy boobs. It gives them a nice lifted appearance. And this bra is so beautiful. I just wish I'd gotten the right size!
New to bra shopping. Did not understand how sizing worked outside the U.S. This bra is actually a 32 I in U.S. sizing. The band runs pretty large in my opinion for a 32 and I could get away with a 32 if need be. Also the cups are pretty full/large so take that into consideration if you don't have full upper breasts (I don't). Also, not sure if it is the particular fit or size but it does not really control side boob. They come out to the side a bit more for my personal liking.
I wanted to love this bra, but it seems we simply weren't meant to be. I would say this band runs true to size. For my 29 in ribcage, the 32 band only fit snugly enough on the tightest set of hooks. The cups seem a little big; this could be due to the molded fabric. For those interested in ordering, order your usual size or your +0 band size + 1 cup size down (i.e. I should have bought a 30G or 30FF). A lot of my fit issues with this bra are likely due to it being the wrong size/shape for me. The color doesn't show even under thin white shirts, although the molded fabric is noticeable. It's really a standard nude bra, and its aesthetics are plain and functional. The detachable straps also make it a wardrobe workhorse. I think it would likely fit really well on someone with projected, firmer tissue and wider roots than mine.
Just look at this top...so beautiful!!! For me the fit is fine, but the support isn't as great as say the padded styles that Freya and Curvy Kate offer. Regardless, I wear this all the time because it is comfortable and so pretty!
Although my breasts are very full, wrinkling remains at the tops of the cups. If I went down a size, it would be too small. My breasts are too short to fill the top of the cups. The cups are too shallow, the gore is too wide, but the bra is actually very comfortable and feels well made.
Such a pretty bra, but it's the wrong shape for mehttps://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> It is too shallow at the bottom and cuts in on top. Sizing up would just result in more east/west than it already gives me, and probably some wrinkling at the apex. My boobs are pretty round and these cups . . . aren't. The band is great at my current level of fluffiness, so I'd say it leans on the longer/less firm side. The fit is very similar to the red Vivienne although there seems to be a little more overall volume in these cups. Like every other Fantasie bra I've had, it seems beautifully made and it is remarkably smooth under clothing.
This is such a pretty bra, but it's the wrong shape for me. Even it the cups were large enough, I'm pretty sure I'd get "orange in a glass" because there's insufficient immediate projection at the bottom and quadraboob because it's too tight across the top. The fit is pretty similar to the Elodie (which also didn't work for me).
Um.... I can not tell a lot about it in this size. I have worn it two or three times but it was too small, I didn't know my size where everything fits. Though I had this model in 34FF when my boobs were smaller and the size was fitting, so I can say it is a very soft and comfortable bra, especially when the base of your boobs is located quite lateral or your boobs tend to slip at the side of your breast.
This is a softly moulded bra, not stiff and definitely a full coverage bra.Tried the Rebecca in several sizes this one was the best fit in the cup but felt tight around band. I could pull it out a couple of inches but felt very firm and I was not sure I would find it comfortable. The 34f was too small in cup and 34ff came up to high(see my other reviews) It was ok with an extender but didn't want to pay £40 for a bra and use an extender! Not much stretch to band
There are lots of problems with this bra for me. The main problem being the lack of cup width along the top of the cup (not the width from wire end to end). It is very closed off. I am mostly even, so I prefer bra that are more open at the top. I guess the measurements for this bra are either incorrect or I am more full than I previously thought, because this bra is super closed off on top. The depth is good, wire length is good, yet there is quadboob everywhere. It fits me like it wants to be a full coverage, but failing. Yet, it doesn't look like a full coverage in any pictures.
The band was also incredibly tight, and requires me to wear an extender.
I guess theoretically I could size up, but I don't know how many times I'll have to do that to find enough cup width. The "full coverage" style just doesn't work for even, full boobs.
