  1. All I can say is THANK YOU FREYA FOR MAKING A 28GG DECO!!!! This bra is absolutely a gem for me. Like some of the gals out there who had been stuck right at the end of the size range for the Deco, I had been bouncing back between wearing a 28G and a 30G. Both had their fit issues. For me the 28G fit in the band, but the cup was too small and if I swoop and scooped properly it left me a bit exposed. When I wore the 30G the cup fit, but the band was too big causing the discomfort of a band riding up all day and it didn’t lift my breast like it should. This bra in size 28GG eliminates both those problems for me. The cup contains my entire breast while the band sits properly drastically improving the comfort level.

*For reference I measure 26 inches under the bust, 37.5-38 inches around the fullest part of the bust.

*Pictures for this review include Black and Charcoal Grey.

Definitely a favorite. The top elastuic gapes a tiny bit on the sides when I am standing up very straight, but doesn't seem to effect the feel or fit. Gives a pushup illusion without additional padding. Normally I wear a 28DD but the 28D fits perfectly. When I tried on the 28DD the top of the cups stuck out. This bra might be prone to a little nip slip due to the lack of full coverage, but the fit is still excellent and I don't think the slip would be major.

  3. Band: The bra has a very very stretchy band. If you are between band sizes, go down one and up a cup size, although if you’re borderline you may not need to go up a cup size. The black color tends to run larger in my experience. I have owned Decos in four band sizes (changing weights over the years), and they all stretched out very quickly within a month or so, with the exception of a 32FF in Pistachio (fashion color, no longer available). The front part of the band is continuous and curved, and edged in odd scallop detail (see straps).

Straps: Pretty ugly- wide slightly ... scratchy-looking elastic with detailing on the side looks as if it were supposed to be scallop-inspired. I’m not sure why this is, but the straps are fully adjustable, which means I’ll take pretty much any weird detailing they will throw at me.

Cups: It’s cut so that women like me who are full on the bottom and sides are accommodated, perhaps due to the way the plunge is constructed? The wires come up high on the side, which is great for trying to reverse migrated breast tissue. There’s also a decent amount of space between the cups and it pushes my separate breasts a little closer together, so it might be a bit much for ladies who have very close-set breasts. The shape is stupendous for me, as everything was held pretty much straight up. The mold gives nipple modesty and shapes well.

Freya and Fantasie bras do not tend to fit me well because they size for a rounder or fuller at the middle breast. I usually cannot fill the point of the cup and there is space or it wrinkles, and then the bra cuts into my breast tissue at the top if I size down. The Deco is an exception- probably my favorite bra that I’ve ever found. I’ve found I can get a fold at the bottom of the cups during the beginning of the bra’s life when the fabric is pretty stiff. I’m told this is because my breasts are set high and I have a shallow profile (full on bottom), so I don’t always fill the bottom of the cups (think orange in a glass).

Should be made in a 28GG. After a wear or 2 the band is already loose and I'm having to wear it on tighter hooks. However, I've tried the 28G and it does not fit in the cup, so I'm stuck with the 30.

Other than that, the Deco is popular for a reason. It gives great cleavage, it puts your boobs front and center, and it's pretty much a no-show under tighter tops.

I've heard so many good things about this bra and since getting one for myself I can see why! It's the perfect t-shirt bra - the cups are completely smooth and give a great, rounded shape under clothing. At the same time, it also gives great cleavage so it's perfect for plunge necklines as well. This is the only bra I've ever bought that makes my breasts look as good as the model in the photos!

The straps are fully adjustable and made from a good robust fabric. I often need to shorten them after washing but I find this with several other bras too and it isn't a ... problem so long as I remember to do it! The closure is only two hooks rather than the three I usually find on bras in my size - a welcome change as I feel three is unnecessary and fiddly. The bra washes well and is comfortable to wear all day long, to the point that you forget you're wearing a bra. None of the wires poke as they don't come up as high under the arms as many plunge styles do. I find this means my breast tissue can escape out the sides sometimes and I have to readjust, but this doesn't cause discomfort.

The only other negative point I can make is that the band seems to run about a size too large. This is annoying for me as there is no 26 back, but I still find the bra comfortable and supportive when I wear it on the tightest hook. When it stretches after more wear I will probably stitch the band a little tighter - a minor inconvenience considering how much I love this bra!

  6. Awesome bra! It has just the right amount of coverage - I'm not spilling out everywhere, and it's not up to my neck. The cleavage is great, and the fact that it doesn't have a ton of padding is a definite plus. I usually have a problem with wires coming up too high under the arm, but this is the perfect height. I don't have side cleavage, and I'm not getting stabbed in the armpit with a wire. If you're narrow and have problems with underwires being too long, I'd say give this bra a try.

I love love love this bra. The cups fit beautifully and provide a fantastic, uplifted shape while still plunging to present great cleavage. The moulded cups are smooth under clothing, and its versatility lends itself to being worn underneath pretty much anything. I feel absolutely secure when wearing it, with no slipping, sliding, poking or other bra-related weirdness. Definitely a winner all around; I have no complaints.

This is a great bra!! It lifts you sky high and gives amazing cleavage. The shape is wonderful and it's pretty comfortable. It fits well, but not as well as it could because the band is a little big for me. Because of this, I would definitely go down a band size/up a cup size the next time. The cups fit nicely, though I could use maybe a little more coverage.

It keeps my boobs in place even when bending over. However, since it lifts me so high and pushes me in too, I notice a little more jiggling when I walk. Also, the top of the cups are noticeable under most shirts, even though it's supposed to be seamless. Still, these are just minor issues that might be fixed if I got a 30E. Overall, I would definitely recommend this bra!

  9. I had a review on my other Deco entry, but basically, it's comfortable and discreet under clothing. The pomegranate color is fantastically hot pink, and I love it.

Update: I bought this bra in August, and three months later, the band is too loose to wear on the loosest hook. I need to make it tighter in order for it to be comfortable. Three months seems too short for this kind of wear, especially since I treat them nicely. Also, the peach bra fits fine; only the hot pink bra has stretched. I bought them both within a week or two of each other, and maybe wear the peach more often, due to its blending capabilities.

    Factors:
I wash them only once a month, but in a lingerie wash from Nordstroms
I am more between a 30 and a 28 band, and the Deco bands run large.

    • Did both Decos stretch the same?

    • I edited to add that, no, they didn't stretch the same. The peach bra is still tight, only the hot pink has stretched.

Come to think of it, the peach bra fit more tightly from the onset.

    • Do both bras state the exact percentage % material content? Maybe each color fabric has slightly different amounts of stretch.

I just bought this in Charcoal from an online store and think it fits a bit funny.. I am going to see if I can find a larger cup size in a local boutique to compare. (Until then it's not in my profile just yet).

I'm finding the band to be just right for me in a 30. The cup however is more demi than my other Freya lace/mesh Phoebe which is super form-fitting allover in FF. But that bra is balcony so it covers more of the top wobble.

    • The point of wearing a bra on the loosest hook is so that in the beginning, the band doesn't stretch out too fast. You're "allowed" to fasten it to a tighter hook as the bra gets older.

    • Jillsas, this is true. My statement was a reflection of how quickly it stretched out: I was able to wear the peach bra on the loosest hook for months longer.

idk if i just got a bad batch or if the entire line is like this but dang these cups are so so so shallow. i received it in the mail and genuinely thought I bought the wrong size. nope, ‘tis the 28FF through and through.

I realized through this bra that I am not in fact a 28FF and would have to size up at least two to three cup sizes to not have atrocious quadboobing and a suffocating band.

Thats the other thing- this band runs loose. I am pretty much a true 28 band, and when I did the test where I flipped it upside ... down and backwards it was slipping off my torso when I moved. The only reason why I felt suffocated was because these cups are so dang small on me (my fault, however, the cups are still quite shallow)

This did give me insane cleavage without the crazy VS padding though which I like. The thick straps are also a W. Overall a great bra if it fits you lol, but unless you have a shallow shape it wont work the best. I cant say for certain that this bra runs small in the cup because I don’t know my bra size well enough, but for projected breasts like mine these definitely aren’t the best option.
