This is my first experience with the Freya brand. There are a lot of things that work for me in this bra, but it is not quite right for me.
The good? The band easily stretches to 33" which is actually perfect for me as that is my snug underbust measurement (so 32" bands are often too tight, but 34" bands can be too loose). There is only one hook in the band. I thought that would be weird, but it feels fine and seems supportive enough.
The ok? The wires fit me reasonably well. They may be a little wider than I'd prefer, but they follow my inframammary ... fold fairly well. The gore tacks nicely and is comfortable. I think the cups have enough projection at the wire for me and I fill them fairly well, but this leads to the bad. The material is a little itchy/irritating, but I know that often resolves after washing/wearing a few times. I won't test that with this bra as I'm not keeping it.
The bad? The top of the cups don't fit me quite right. My larger breast quads in the cup a little. I don't think this would be a problem if the top of the cup was just stretch lace, but the strip of elastic digs in. I get some wrinkling where the lace meets the cup at the strap on both sides. I don't think this would show under a shirt, but it is still a little annoying. Finally, the seam placement allows my nipples to show through my shirt unless I ensure they are sitting behind the seam which isn't where they naturally fall. This may not be a problem for some people, but I'd prefer coverage in that area.
Overall, this is a bra that is almost, but not quite right for me. I won't be keeping it, but I will consider other Freya offerings and may even revisit this bra again in the future.

I have the same issues with elastic strips. I think it’s a mix of the soft tissue and tallish roots.
