The side slings work only if you scoot the underwires so that they extend into the side slings, and even then they have a tendency to creep back to the center and poke me in the chest. Thankfully repairing this this is 5 min of sewing while watching Netflix.
Otherwise, it's a great unpadded option for the small busted - it lifts without drastically altering shape. Because of the lack of vertical seams it accommodates my FOT shape without quadboob or pointiness, and can even fit the pre-period XX-FOT. In the sense of fit, there's no cup wrinkling, but it arrived from ...Amazon with 50,000 wrinkles, which nothing seems to quite remove.
While the fabric is more solid than the average unpadded bra, it's definitely thin enough for headlights, and that's even with my nipples falling under the seam. Conveniently I tend to wear loose shirts AND don't really care. (All humans have nipples - got a problem with that??) The relative solidity of the fabric does mean that it's not a great candidate for icky hot summer.
The straps ARE super wide and placed FAR apart, but I have huge shoulders so all well and good. Wide straps = comfier. The band is loose-ish, but so far it works on the tightest hook. It does seem to made of solid material so it won't stretch out if I look at it the wrong way.
Like all Freya "nude" bras, this is SUPER pale, so you have to be an untanned shade of white for this to work under pale shirts. Read more 156 more words
I bought this bra several months ago knowing there was a good chance it would be a little small, and it is. It's not remotely uncomfortable, my boobs just pop out a bit more than they should. I've cemented myself pretty firmly into 28H/30GG, so this is a little too small.
I was not happy at all with this bra. I know for a fact that my band size is actually 29inches, so its recommended that I buy a 28 to account for later stretching. I normally buy 30 because its difficult to find 28s and they don't stretch too much, but for a strapless, i know i will need the support. But this one was just difficult. The bra was really tight, even on the last hooks, so I think it runs a little small. It also tries to flatten the breasts with the shape of the cups. Rather than accounting for the full bust people with a 28F have, it is shaped to bring the breast up, or in my case, into the middle. No matter how much I fiddled with it, my breasts were not even and would not stay even remotely in the cups. For the less busty, this is great. Not for the busty! very stretchy, rides up in the back. top layer of fabric does not lay flat against bottom layer of fabric and shows wrinkles even though the bottom layer is flush against the skin.
Nice shape, comfortable. I'm fairly shallow and it works really well for me. It doesn't have quite enough immediate bottom projection for me which causes some slight wrinkling in the bottom of the cups, but the wires aren't being pushed down at all, so it still works really well.
I used to love this version of the Freya Deco Bra but now it doesn't fit. I am assuming it is too big because my boobs literally fall out when i move. I have started buying all of my bras in the 34H or 32H range instead. This is much better.
The bra itself is "fine" not as fantastic as the Deco loyalists say.. but it is a pretty neon pink.
I do not like the padding either, i don't know if anyone with H cup boobs NEEDS padding. Not my favourite.
This is a fantastic bra! It quickly became one of my favorites and I'm planning on purchasing more colors in this shape in the future. It is extremely comfortable and the pattern is adorable! This is my first Freya bra I've tried and it's wonderful! It is also smooth under clothing and gives your breasts a nice shape.
This is my first transferred bra on Bratabase and ... wow! I'm a believer in this website. It fits perfectly, better than I ever imagined a bra could fit. Very comfortable and pretty! Who would have thought bras could be both? Especially for larger busted ladies. Supportive, doesn't poke, pinch, or itch anywhere, all the lines are smooth, minimal back fat or skin displacement (although I can't expect perfection there since I'm 8 months pregnant and have put on about 20 pounds lol). I love this bra and would buy 10 if I could.
I didn't think I was going to buy this bra when I saw its pictures online. It looked overly kitchsy, and I'd tried on its cream incarnation and been unimpressed by its flippy band and color scheme. When I saw the blue version in person, however, I was hooked. Its floral was anything but kitschy. Instead, it was done with oversaturated pictures of flowers that evoked technology more so than nature. That plus the fact that it was a half-cup and fit more tightly than its predecessor was all I needed; I'll make a lot of concessions for a half cup.
Its band fits like something midway between a ...(Freya) 30 and 32. The bra gives a very rounded shape, and its long band would make the whole thing feel more anchored and secure if it wasn't so prone to flipping up. It did so at the least irritation until I stitched in some boning, and even so, the problem isn't entirely fixed. If you can't stand a nonstable band, this bra definitely isn't for you.
Its cups are also far too shallow for me. There's a lot of empty space in their bottoms. I also feel I could do with one cup size up, were it available.
After owning this bra for several months, I think I can safely say that it is one of the most comfortable bras that I've ever owned. The support is great, it looks good under any sort of fabric, and even when I am moving around all day, it never rubs me the wrong way.
I can not tell you how excited I am to have a second nude bra! While Freya has a lot of cute bras, few of them are really wearable under very light colored or lightweight shirts because they are colorful. This bra, like its sibling, has a seam that runs up about the middle of the cup, and the wings appear to come up a bit higher near my arm, but not uncomfortably so. I doubt that I'll like it as much as my Freya Deco, but we'll see!
The fabric on this is very nice and slightly shiny on the outside. The seam in the cup runs right about up the middle and hits my tit. This might be problematic down the road. This bra seems to come up a bit higher around my arm than the others, although not uncomfortably so! We will see if it beats my 32FF - Panache » Jasmine (6951) out as black bra of choice!
First off, this is a really cute bra. Pink with polka dots, how can you ever go wrong with polka dots? I'm not a fan of the brown lace that goes along the top of the cup, but it doesn't itch. This fits very much like my 32FF - Freya » Totally Tartan Padded Half Cup Bra (1423). But it doesn't have the strip of fabric across the top of the cup like the tartan half cup. So even though they are both padded half cups, I feel like this one is cut a bit differently?
Love this bra! It's my first that fits properly and it's an amazing difference. The straps are almost too far apart, but it's not something big enough to worry about or bother fixing.
