I was so excited to try this bra. I was so disappointed when I did. I don't even know how to explain what it looked like on me. My best try at it is if I loosen the straps a little, it gapes horribly at the top. If I wear it with the straps tightened as much as I usually do on other bras, I get a weird crease down the side of my boob. Not normal quadboob; I've seen plenty of that. This is like my boobs grew plumbers cracks, if you know what I mean. I have my usual crack down the center of my chest, and half an inch on either side, a new crack. It looks weird as heck. I guess this bra isn't going to work for me. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
When I initially purchased this bra, my measurements were more correct for this size, and it fit very comfortably with the "lift and squish" cleavage and rounded shape I had come to like in a bra shape. After about 6 months of wear with swoop and scoop, migrated tissue has made these bras less than perfect, as I am now a 34H. They are still comfy, but I have some issues with quadboobing or lacking support. A GREAT transitional bra for ladies who are leaving Victoria's Secret styles for the proper or bigger sizes.
Well, this was among the first bras I ordered (from figleaves for like $30! woooh!) and I discovered I'm really a 28FF or a 30F. However, this fits okay when I'm at my smallest, with only mild orange-in-a-glass. If I'd ordered in a 28FF, it'd be perfect---the bra is lovely and comfortable! Very very very stretchy band though. Beware, if you need a 26 or true 28 band, this is more like a 30.
This bra is slightly small in the cups for me right now, but as I am losing weight I think it will fit perfectly in 1-2 weeks. I prefer foam cup bras as I feel they make my breasts look more even and I love the cleavage this bra gives me.
This bra is so gorgeous with a gray tuxedo pattern in the cups and a teal lace/velour ribbon along the top. My breast are slightly large for this bra, but since I'm losing weight I think it will be perfect in a week or two.
I tried this on at Nordstrom's twice. I can't tell if it was too small, too big, or just all wrong. (Well, it was definitely all wrong...) The cups were too tall and kept looking like they were going to gap, but I'm still not sure if they actually did. They didn't have an E to compare, so I don't know whether I needed to go up a cup size or it was just that the underwires were too narrow. Either way, it felt like my boobs were trying to escape out the sides.
This did actually manage to give me decent cleavage, which I did not know was possible.
I love this bra so much. The colours are very pretty, and the fit is great. The lace around the top of the cups can show through clothes. If you sit slouched forward, the bottom of the band may also roll up (I didn't notice this in the Freya Piper Longline (1233) ). Like the other Freya longlines, there are only 2 columns of eyes. When I put this bra on, it feeld like it disappears it is so comfortable!
This is a good, basic bra IF you aren't full on top. I don't find anything "balconette" about the shape; it's full coverage on me and comes up awfully high into the front of my underarms - but I am short. The straps (as others have adequately noted) are pretty ugly but they are comfy. I find the 32H (red) a slightly better fit than the 34GG (black), which would indicate that it runs large in the band, but there is a little wrinkling at the bottom of the cup. I could not size down, though, because the cups would definitely cut into my upper breast ...fullness. I can just squeak by with the H as it is. The shape is "fine" if you don't mind a little minimising. Nothing to write home about, but again, it's a basic. The seaming & lace trim along the top are nice & flat under clothing. I would prefer it to be lined to prevent show-through, but I do appreciate the 3 hooks. An additional note after wearing a few times: this bra has a break-in period. I've worn them a handful of times each, and they have been a little more comfy each time - particularly at the front of my armpits where they were most problematic in the beginning. Final assessment: I'll keep it & I'll wear it regularly, but I wouldn't buy it again. It would be a great bra for someone taller or with a longer torso who had some migration to tackle. Super cute print & trim coloration. Doesn't cover half my chest like Freya's balconettes in the larger cup sizes do. Adorable matching thong. Outside of cup (width of underwire) is a little wider than necessary, but not as much as the Deco or the Antoinette. Sheer upper section is well-balanced & sexy - again unlike the ruination they make of their larger-cup balconettes. Cup inner edge a little loose on my smaller side, but not bad. A suggestion of puckering at the apex, but I certainly couldn't size down with my upper fullness; it would cut in on top. Band fits great, probably runs a trifle large. I do have ...concerns about the sturdiness of the band. It isn't reinforced from the wings to hook, and I wear my bands TIGHT so I doubt it will hold up as long as a less sheer fabric - so I'm downgrading the quality from Excellent to Good. No issues with the straps on my 5'3" torso & it doesn't cut into my arms in the front (again, like the Deco or the Antoinette). Shape is a bit pointy, but nothing objectionable. Reasonably discreet under most clothing. It's a keeper & I'll be looking for similar styles https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" /> Read more 100 more words
It's a very pretty bra, and it definitely fits well enough to be wearable for now. Like most Freyas, the band is very stretchy, making the back too large, and the cups are probably a bit too small for me. The gore is a good inch away from my sternum. The underwires are also not shaped great for my ribcage.
Really like the lift it gives me. I have broad shoulders so the straps are perfect, but it would be nice if the underwire went a little higher on the side. Also I have a bit of a tummy so the fabric in the front under the wires rolls up when I sit.
This is the most comfortable bra I've ever worn! I've been buying and returning bras for MONTHS trying to find both the right size, and one without painful underwires. The 28DD fits me like a glove, provides a lovely rounded shape, and the straps don't slip. I could wear this bra 24/7 without discomfort. Now if it only came in more than 2 colors...
Even though bratabase says this bra doesn't fit b/c the center gore doesn't lie flat, I absolutely think this bra fits and that it not lying flat is a function of it being wireless. I will try to post specific photos of this later.
I so wanted to love this bra, but I think I should have gone down a band size. Even on the tightest hook the band is too big, especially since it's a longline bra and the bottom of the band sits lower on my ribcage which is smaller than the top. While my larger breast *almost* completely fills the cup, there is the slightest bit of puckering, but I think a smaller cup size would be too small. On my smaller breast there is wrinkling of the cup closest to my armpit. Unlike other Freya wired bras though, this one is incredibly comfortable. It does not give me the best shape under snug tops.
I have both a 28F and a 28FF of this bra. At first the 28F feels alright and gives me just a fine cleavage while 28FF is too big I. The cup depth which I can't fill in the top part of the bra. But both bras has wide bands on my sides it goes way back under my armpit. I have had it for a month and these two weeks the 28F feels tight and my breast spill out a little right above the center gore. It is weird and when I try 28FF it only fits right after I scooped my breast but top part of the cup starts gaping again once a move around and the side of the band is still too big..which size should I wear? What's wrong with the spilling at the center gore?
This bra is so cute and fun for summer! Unfortunately, my boobs are just too darn big for this bra now https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> Wish it was still available to buy in a different size.
This bra is super cute and shaped well, but the straps are way too far apart for me. I think that if the straps were closer in, the bra would fit me much better. After a fit request it was pointed out that the bottom of the cup wrinkles also.
The bra seemed to be built well, but the fabric was not the most comfortable. I liked that the straps were fully adjustable.
