Although I doubt that this was the "correct" size for me (it's sometimes hard to tell the difference between too deep and too large), I don't think that this bra would work for me in any size. It seemed quite deep in the cups, and therefore totally inappropriate for women with shallow breasts, like me. Definitely avoid this one if you have a similar shape. Not that I spent much time in it, since the fit was so obviously wrong, but it seemed comfortable enough while I had it on. I would have liked to see three hooks in back, but that's a frequent complaint of mine.
I usually wear a 28F in the deco, but I bought this 28FF on a whim.
It's actually only a touch too big, it fits pretty well. The only issue is the sides of the cups coming up a bit high under my arms and it can be annoying if I'm doing something active.
Apart from that it's just the same as any other deco https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
Very pretty, a bit on the small side for me, sadly. it seems comfortable, but i have side boob which i don't like! The back band is stretchy and quite narrow, with only 2 hooks. However, the pattern does carry on round the back, which is nice. It still has has the tags on, because i don't want to wear it until i am sure it fits, but i think my boobs might be getting bigger not smaller!
Unfortunately, this bra is an extremely poor fit on me. I need a 28 band in this style (which isn't made), and the cup is just a little bit too small, even when the band is tightened. I really need to sell it because it really doesn't fit, but I keep convincing myself that I can get my sewing machine out and save it by taking in the band. I just hate getting rid of a bra that's SO CUTE. This is literally one of the prettiest bras I've ever seen. This is the bra I was longing for back when all I could find in my size ...were ugly nude tents.
I do know that these longlines run very large in the band. I have other longlines in a 30 band, and they just float away from me (even though I can wear Masquerade and Ewa Michalak 30 bands on the middle or tightest hook). Since the bra really doesn't fit, I feel that I can't comment on the specific cup shape; however I'm not terribly impressed with the shape on any of my Freya longlines, which is disappointing because I've wanted a longline forever and I don't really like the prints on the Cleo Sadie. I think that the shape would be improved if I tried a 28 band, but I feel like it still wouldn't be mind-blowing. That said, I definitely don't think the shape is anywhere near awful, and I'm willing to wear something that's not perfect when the appearance is so excellent otherwise.
I will update this review if/when I alter it. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Read more 164 more words
This was my first try with the Freya Deco, though I had heard a lot about it. I knew it ran big in the cups, and so I wasn't surprised that it was a bit big for me in my usual 32 FF. I think it would work well for me in a smaller size. The gore was low, but not so low that my girls were tumbling out in the center the way they like to do in plunges, and the band felt firmer than some other Freyas I've tried (despite what I've heard to the contrary); maybe there is more elastic in this band than some others.
So this was one of the first bras I bought from the UK. It's the wrong size, but I was brand new to this and really didn't believe I wore a 30-band, so I was buying 32s.
The band on this is tight. The wires are very narrow, it's not a great bra for shallow/wide boobies. I have a Freya Nieve in 32F and the wires are wider on that, they fit me better, although the cup is too big and gaps at the top (I altered it slightly to fit better). But for this bra, I feel pinched and rubbed raw by the wires against my sternum and against the outside of my ribs. I like the bra a lot, but it doesn't fit my shape and it's not the right size anyway.
This bra gives me great cleavage and makes my boobs look fantastic. I love the moulded cups and lack of lace or embellishment. Since there's nothing on the bra that'll show through clothes I can wear it with anything.
It's comfortable for all day wear. My only complaint is that every once in a while I have trouble with the straps slipping down. They are a bit wide set for me.
This bra is a very strange fit on me. The cup is overall too wide and shallow but the bottom of the cup is even more shallow and I can't get it to sit at my root no matter how hard I try. A cup up would be too large and cup down *may* be better volume-wise but it's hard to tell since the fit is so off.
The wires are soft and easily bent but I can't get them to sit flat at my sternum which usually isn't a problem for me. Bending helped a little but not completely. It might be related to the cup being too shallow and maybe getting pushed away from my body.
The straps are fully adjustable and very long so should be good for someone with a long upper torso.
This is a pretty awesome bra. My boobs look great in it - it gives great lift and shape. It's also comfortable enough to wear for a whole day and supportive enough to wear for sports.
I can't recommend this bra enough for someone with a similar shape to me.
I had been wearing this in a 28E, but the 28F is an even better fit. It gives a really round shape, lots of lift and is extremely comfortable. The band is thick so doesn't make any 'back fat' bulges, and although it's a bit big for a 28, is still quite firm. The cups are a bit bigger than a normal F. which is great for me being somewhere between an F and FF.
I have this in both red and purple plunges, and the black strapless, and am probably going to buy it in more colours because it's the only bra I've found that completely works for me in all aspects.
Also maybe a little irrelevant but I have the matching shorts to both, and they are great too https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> very comfy but do run a bit big. I am normally a UK8 and the XS is still slightly big on me, but not unwearably big.
The Deco is an amazing bra https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
I know it doesn't work for everybody but I have full on top (ish), close together boobies, and it is the best bra I've got. It gives a nice cleavage, lots of lift and a rounded shape that looks really good under tight clothes https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
The only negatives I can think of is that the band is a little big, and the cups are a little big too.
I've only worn this one a few times, but I also have it in red in a 28E and purple in a 28F and pretty much alternate between wearing those two.
I wanted to try it because of design. It's little bit girly but not in romantic way, I prefer black, purple or dark colors, so I hoped Piper could improve my wardrobe. Unfortunately – it's Freya. I just love their designs, but I'm between sizes – 32F is too small, 32FF is too big.
I'm able to fasten other Freya's 32-band. Piper has got really tight band, so tight that I can't fasten it. I just look at this beauty and I can't do anything more. Then I've tried 34E (new shop was opened near my house, yay!) and the band was still too tight.
Fastening – six hooks, BUT ...only two rows. It surprised me! Maybe... No, I won't be able to fasten it anyway. Six vertical seams are on the band. In this area the material isn't stretchy at all. The rest is stretchier, but it's a little piece of fabric. I think that stretchier fabric is better for me, so the problem could be here, not in "too tight band".
Cups are lightly padded (almost non-padded).
It's nice bra, but not for me. I think I give up this struggle with Freya... Read more 85 more words
Except the band was obviously too big. The straps were rather easy to adjust, but way too long for me.
I think the pattern of the cups is gorgeous and I love the colourway, but the straps and the fastening add too much purple to the bra for me. If you like purple, though, you will probably love the bra.
