I LOVE THIS BRA. The pattern is adorable and looks really cute under loose clothes for layering/peek-a-boo looks. The cups are soft and comfortable and give a good shape. The straps are fully adjustable and soft against the skin. The lace trimming doesn't scratch or dig in.
Con: the "longline" aspect of it, though giving excellent support, is a little flimsy--the band flips up throughout the day. No matter to me, I love my Piper and can look past this issue.
Decos are great bras! This bra fits OK and looks great under clothes. The cups fit OK but cut into my arms a little, thus making driving not fun and becoming annoying by the end of the day. Unfortunately for me, I think I need a 28G as Decos tend to run larger in the band and the cup, and I do prefer a firmer band.
This bra looks great, but feels terrible. It flattens me out, is slightly too wide, and the cups come up too high (my breasts are high on my chest) and fold into my underarms. The band is also very loose on me. I wanted this to work so badly, but it just doesn't. Good for those with a lot of upper-pole fullness, not so much for equal fullness and probably not good at all for bottom heavy breasts.
The design of this bra is absolutely gorgeous - interesting and a little bit cheeky without resorting to overly showy colours, shiny/textured materials or raised ribbons.
This bra fits me quite well, but not as perfectly as the Freya Deco I bought in the same size at the same time - however, I generally prefer unlined cups, so it was good to have. Like on many bras, the straps like sliding down my shoulders unless I tighten them more than I should. The cups both also wrinkle a little bit and aren't quite full at the top (on my bigger side, the wrinkling is very minor, but on my smaller side it is quite noticeable) It is not enough that I could go down a size, but noticeable. It is very comfortable and supportive.
This bra fits quite comfortably - it is my current favourite bra. I measure almost exactly 28 inches around, and the band is quite snug (I can *barely" stick two fingers under the band), but does not dig in anywhere. When I first got it, I had a slight problem with digging into my sternum because the mid-depth-plunge ends right underneath my ribcage, but I gently bent the ends of the wires a milimetre or two outwards and now it does not dig anywhere. I've only had it for a couple weeks, but it doesn't seem to have stretched out at all. The molded cup gives A LOT of cleavage and makes fitting a little fussier, but it seems to fit me almost perfectly.
This was the first padded bra I ever tried on, and it was love at first sight. It's just so pretty!
The main thing I can say about Ashlee is: she's so, so comfortable. I recently traveled with Ashlee on, ~18 hours including 2 flights, twice. She remained comfortable throughout. Even when I contorted myself into a sleeping position on the airplane, even when my breast tissue had fallen out and folded itself around the top of the cup (invisible under my cowl-neck shirt), there was no discomfort. I wasn't in a rush to get my bra off after 18 hours of travelling.
After that I was ill, and wore Ashlee around the house under my pajamas, even slept in her when I took daytime naps.
I've taken to wearing Ashlee only around the house- not because I can't wear her out of the house, but because no other bra is as comfortable to lounge around in.
I have had a frustrating experience with this bra. I tried on the 30G and it seemed like I just needed to go down a cup size. So I exchanged it for a 30FF aaannnd... the cup is too small. I have tissue escaping under the sides, slight quadboob, and a pointy shape. I wore this bra once and at the end of the day the wires had left noticeable red marks on my sternum. I'd never experienced a stabby gore before. Now I know what others are complaining about.
I'm thinking that I tried on the bras at bad points during my cycle and a 30G would actually ...fit at certain times. I would really like a 30G in the hazelnut color (the 30FF I have is amethyst, blech).
The upsides: The band is nice and firm with almost no stretch (when I measured the bra at its stretchiest I noticed that the elastic was barely moving, but the cups were distorting!) and maybe this is a factor of the too-small cups, but the straps don't cut into my armpits quite as badly as some other bras. Got this pre-owned, and I'm in love! For me there is just the teensiest bit of quadboobing, but this is honestly the best fitting bra I've ever owned. I feel like I could sleep in it! It has a great lift, too.
One of my first post-enlightenment bras. Unfortunately, the Dillards I went to didn't stock 30 bands at all, so I made do with a few 32s (this one and the Chantelle 32FF UK/32H US). Paid too much, will do online bra shopping from now on. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" />
This is a beautiful bra, but I don't think it was quite deep enough in the cup for me, and I had some strange baggy fabric at the very top of the cup due to the oddly triangular strap attachment. It's too big for me in the band and rides up quite a bit over the course ...of the day, unfortunately. But I love the look of it and the shoulder straps are nice and wide. The underwires could be narrower in the center - my biggest discomfort is that my breast tissue is closer together higher up in the center, and this bra's gore really cuts into that. I get some uncomfortable red marks from irritation on my breast tissue after an hour or two of wearing this one. Read more 73 more words
Wow! This is the first bra I've tried that really knocks it out of the park for me. No wrinkling or gaping at the top of the cup. The band is firm and tight, but not uncomfortably so. And the fabric is ultra-smooth so no itchiness. I can't even feel the shoulder straps. I was worried that the wires would be too narrow, but I've worn it out for a few hours now and I haven't had any boob escape.
I got this in an online purchase when I was still trying to find my true size. This is clearly the wrong size after I've seen the actual bra, but it's a pretty bra. I'm in love with the silky fabric and lightly padded cups. The floral design running across the straps is really beautiful.
Maybe I'll luck out and get hold of a size that isn't completely wrong for me and be able to do a proper review on the fit.
Band is very loose on my ribcage. Cups encompass my breasts, but wires go too far towards the back and poke a little bit. Design and fabric are very cute, but the shape just doesn't work on my small ribcage and narrow shape.
Boobs are well encapsulated; plunge is low enough for close-set breasts. Fits true-to size, though slightly larger band than Cleo bras. The binding on the edge of the cup makes it feel more solid than the regular Deco, which has such a thin edge that my breast tissue distorts it. Straps are a little bit in the armpits, unfortunately.
The one-hook skinny band gives little support and the low gore dug into my chest a bit. The cups were a bit small and caused some quad-boob. I think that is due to the shape of my breasts though. I am learning that I do not do well with plunge bras. This bra does give a nice up lift though even if my boobs are too far apart to form any cleavage at all.
I love that this bra comes in pistachio green. It is okay is terms of support, but a little shallow in the cups for me. The center gore is low and pokey.
This is a nice-looking basic bra, which unfortunately doesn't fit me more than okay.
The cups come too high up for me and aren't open enough (which confirmed my suspicions that I'm full on top), so there's some quad boob action going on. It's not terribly bad, however, and I think I'll see whether the top of the cups will stretch and soften up, which would probably eliminate or at least reduce the problem.
The straps are fully adjustable (yay!) and feel quite soft and comfortable. The band is quite perfect, it feels snug but not uncomfortable on the loosest hooks as new, according to the text book. The bra ...is fastened by just two hooks, which is a con – I would have preferred three.
This bra also confirmed that I have close set boobs, and the cup separation is a bit too wide for me. The gore lies flat against the sternum, but also digs into my breasts. If I scoop out from the centre a bit, the fit is better both for the part of the top cup and the gore, but I fear I would have to be making adjustments very often, which clearly is a sign of an ill-fitting bra.
I think I'll wear this bra for a while and see if it starts to adapt to my shape, and if not, I'll just have to list it.
Edit: I take the last part back, the cup separation is just too big for me. The wires start digging into my breasts and it gets very painful very soon. So I'll just have to list this. Read more 157 more words
Absolute perfect bra shape for my boobs. I only wish they made it in a GG or H cup. I get a bit of quadboobing with the G, but it is perfectly comfortable and I don't feel squished (I just get a layer of jelly boob sitting on top). It's not noticeable under clothing.
Great cleavage, smooth silhouette, and my arms can swing forward without hitting boob. Pretty pattern and unusual sky blue colour as well.
