At this point, I am confused as to why the 28E fits better than the 28DD<- which supposedly runs large thus I would need a 28D! I'm thinking probably because the wires are much wider, and my boobs are kinda wide for their size.
What I love most about the Freya Deco is that it lifts the bust super high and you get an incredible shape from the side. From the front they look good, but I wouldn't say great because if you like wearing tight fitting shirts and have smaller busts, the deco sort of pushes everything to the center, thus looks kind of strange because there's no extra padding at the sides to balance out the shape.
Overall it's a great bra and I recommend it to larger (narrow - average width) and smaller (definitely narrow) breasts.
This bra is adorable and very comfortable. This was my first bra in the "correct" size, and my first venture outside the typical Victoria's Secret styles and department store brands. I purchased it in the largest cup size available (32G) but after wearing it a few times I have realized that I need to size up to a 32GG. Also, the back band is quite stretchy so I could have used a 30H! However, even with the sizing issues, this bra is extremely supportive and easy to wear all day. If I wear it on the last hook I have no issues with band support, but as it stretches out I may have to take it in.
It gives a nice round and lifted shape, which is exactly what I look for in a bra. I wish Freya would make this style in larger cup sizes!
Was sent this by a supplier as they were out of stock on the 28G.
The band on this fits fine, it seemed to fit on the whole but throughout wearing it I found the straps keep sliding down my shoulders even though they are tightened all the way.
Uncomfortable. Also gives quad boob/pointy effect.
I really wish the Decos fit me but alas, they do not. I am bottom-heavy, so I get really awful gapping in them.
They give amazing cleavage and are very similar to the styles many are used to wearing from Victoria's Secret. However, I've found that moulded bras don't suite me.
The band is extremely generous -- I recommend sizing down one from your normal band size. Even compared to my Freya soft cups, the band is large -- about 2-3" larger.
Regardless, the bra IS comfortable, the straps don't dig into my narrow shoulders, and the band didn't ride up despite being a bit generous.
This bra is delightfully comfortable for a lace bra. Most lace softcups I find scratchy and overall unpleasant. The Jolie, however, is none of that. It is also very pretty for a basic bra -- something I rarely find.
Unfortunately it is about one cup size too small and a band size too large. I have very light quadboobing and very little support -- symptoms of the wrong size.
Regardless, this bra is a monster root lifter, and I really love it, so I have ordered another in a 28FF.
I really like the fabric of this bra. It's very soft and comfortable. I do think the band is a bit looser than other Freyas so you might want to size down in the band.
Upon opening up the box to see the Freya bra I had just ordered...I was PRAYING that the cups wouldn't be too big. My first reaction was, "These cups look too deep for me!" I tried it on to find that the band is made several sizes too large, I immediately had to start it on the smallest hook. (Band isn't a huge issue since I usually have to alter bands anyway)
The cups seemed too big at first. There was a lot of gaping at the top so I tried to adjust myself accordingly, tightening the straps and scooping all my tissue in. My ...larger side seems to fit pretty good in it and there is a teeny bit of gaping for my smaller boob (Also not a big deal).
The only huge problem I had was that was that center gore came up really really high, and it was severely uncomfortable there. I will probably need to chop the wires off this area in order to wear it...
The shape I'm getting is incredible, so I'm definitely going to keep it.
The bra is gorgeous with the stripped pink pattern and bow details. I purchased this on clearance from Bare Necessities. Read more 102 more words
This bra didn't work for me at all. The cup shape, if I had to guess, would work much better for someone that was full on bottom and very round breasts.
For me, I didn't fill out the cup. There was a lot of wrinkling in the cups, and zero support. The tops of the cups cut into my breast tissue, somehow giving me both wrinkled cups and a slight quadraboob.
This bra gives me a really pushed up and front on shape. It's a fairly forgiving shape too.
Problems: 1. The cup is covered in a black mesh fabric, and then over that there's a brown velvet running parallel to the edge. I like how this makes the bra look, but I think this causes the edge to lift away so that the cup doesn't mould to my breast but pops up a bit. 2. issue 1 happens even though I am quadboobing when I first swoop and scoop. 3. all the swoop and scoop disappears in a few minutes because everything escapes out the sides 4. bra shows under most tops ...due to issue 1. 5. The cup is too small for me so I quad boob, and this makes the centre gore not as comfortable as other bras.
I didn't notice this til I wore it for the day. When I tried on the Freya Carlie I didn't have this problem - but the pattern made it difficult to wear. I might try and remove the velvet bit and see if it helps.. I want this bra to work, it gives me a great shape. Read more 83 more words
I love how this bra fits, it doesn't poke anywhere and my boobs fill the bottom of the cups very nicely. After wearing all day for the first time it did start to become uncomfortable, but the band is a little tight so if it stretches just a little bit it will no longer be a problem. My boobs are not full on top so the lace bunches a little bit, but this isn't a problem for me. It looks great, and gives a great shape although it isn't quite as supportive as the Pollyanna that I own. This one does fit, where the 28D Pollyanna did not.
The only issue I have with it is that the wires seem very low on the sides and after wearing for a few hours my boobs (which are wide-set) escape sideways. I haven't found a bra yet where this doesn't happen, so I'm willing to deal with it and continue to wear this bra because it looks great.
Alas! I've only worn it a little bit as I just received it, but I love this bra! I also own it in bubblegum pink in a 30F. The band on the 30F is obviously too big, even on the tightest hook, and the cup is a bit too small. The 28G is perfect in terms of fit!
Versus the 30F, this does seem to give me a bit of a pointier profile, but not in a terribly bad way. Under clothing, you can't tell. The band isn't riding up on the loosest hook, either!
The lace on the jolie is super soft and very delicately pretty. It's not fussy lace, it seems like it's a little girly and a little more modern. It doesn't show through clothing. This bra is so super comfortable, and I am just so happy to finally have one in a size that fits me(and honestly, in a more useful color than bright pink!!)!
Beautiful bra, but the band is very very stretchy, and the cups seem a little small. I wear it with a Rixie clip because the band slides up even on the tightest hook, and it still rides up in the back. However, it is very well made.
Pros: Wide, fully-adjustable straps 3 hook-and-eyes wide and comfortable wings Material is soft
Cons: Cups are too wide The coloring isn't the best Gore is too high
This is two cup sizes up from the other Carys bra I was given to try for my winning of Curvy Wordy's contest. It doesn't fit any better and the problems I had with the 30H are only amplified in this 30J.
This bra flattens the tops of my breasts. The shape from the side isn't as round or uplifted as I would like it to be. The nude is a good nude for my pale skin tone and does disappear under white clothing. The band is quite snug for a 30 and has 3 hook and eyes. It has fully adjustable straps, but they're hideous and really thick. Overall, I haven't had much luck with Freya unpadded balconettes https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> I ended up selling this one
This bras has firmer cups than the original Deco. I love the teal trim on the top of the cups because teal is my favorite color. The chain print is interesting and cute, and I don't think I've ever seen anything like it. I like the black trim on the otherwise white straps. The back band is firmer and the cups and wires a bit smaller than the original Deco. All in all, a great plunge bra. It's comfortable and gives great shape and lift. The straps are fully adjustable.
I unfortunately had to sell this one because it gave me quad boob https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
Can I please remove one of the pictures? I found that I wasn't putting the bra on correctly. It does fit!
