Beautiful, well-made bra. Unfortunately I've outgrown it and now it's too small in the cups and a little big in the band on me.

    Pros:
    Super pretty!
Delicate, soft fabric and stitching, but super sturdy construction- practically indestructable.
The elastic has held up well, despite moderate abuse.
Lovely shape- good boost and none of the boob-migration problems I usually have in plunge bras.
I have VERY soft boobs, and this bra conforms to their shape well without letting them ooze all over.
Pretty straps that can be adjusted to a wide range of sizes.

    Cons:
Not actually super plunge-y; if you're looking to wear it under a very low-cut shirt, you might want to try another bra. ... That said, the trim is cute enough that you could probably get away with flashing it.
The pattern is vivid enough that it's visible through a lot of clothes. Have to wear it with opaque stuff.
Sheer mesh. Your nips will be visible.
The color isn't quite the same as in the pictures on the site I bought it from- the turquoise is the same, but the butterfly pattern is sort of lavender-grey.

At first I thought the cups were too deep, but the wires fit perfect. The band is definitely stretchy, and have been wearing it on tightest hook. The cups fit perfect with the tighter band adjustment so I will probably band down and cup up next time. The straps are a bit too far apart, I notice when driving. But the bra gives a really nice shape, and my clothes fit nicer, so I might sew the straps closer together. The first few wears I found this bra to be really scratchy on the straps and band, but after a few washes its softened up enough that its not irritating.

Perfect! Comfortable, did not stretched (after 2 years I'm still wearing it on the loosiest hooks). After wearing it for a very long time - eg 2 days in a row straps can poke my arms in front and back (especially if I have a PMS at a time).

Perfect! Even after loosing some weight (and 4cm in bust perimeter) it fits great. Very comfortable, but I found it annoying I have to wash it in hands (because of 'termo foam'). It did not stretch out.

This bra feels very tight, in a distracting way. I'm not used to bands so tight but it is not something I would want to wear, even though it measures large for a 28 band. Part of it I think is that the underwires press into my ribcage. The gore is also irritating and comes up too high on my sternum, maybe something that could be altered if the underwire was bent. I can fill the cup except for some wrinkling on the bottom, but due to the shape of my breasts and the shape of the cup, it makes my breasts look very pointy. The pointy shape also cuts into my breast at the top, it's not a quad-boob because the cups aren't overflowing, I am just slightly fuller on top than the bra allows for. The strap placement is good. On the loosest hook, I can stretch the band about 2 inches away, and my underbust measures 29.

The band is loose, but worn on the loosest hook moves around minimally. The gore pokes at my sternum because the underwires are too high for my torso despite being a plunge, and they dig in a little. It is uncomfortable for me and irritates the area. Bending the underwire may help but I haven't done it yet. The straps are a little wide set and thick, but I am not used to a bra that fits "correctly" so the cups come up higher than I am used to (also partly because I have a short torso I think), and when I move my arms forward it pulls ... at the strap/cup which is something I would have to adjust to. If I loosen the strap to allow more comfortable movement (i.e. so my arm doesn't rub against the bra and I don't think about it), the strap falls off my shoulders. The cups do not give me a pointy shape like other unlined Freya's did but I would still prefer a padded version of this, I only fill the cups/no wrinkle if I sit with my shoulders back and inhale deeply, otherwise they do wrinkle. It is not very visible through a thin t-shirt but is somewhat visible. Since the stretched band measurement is so great it will probably stretch out.

The bra itself is very cute but not so much when I'm wearing it due to the wrinkling of the cups.

  8. Ellie Balcony Bra (1132)

Super pretty and comfortable! It gives the boobs a great shape (nice and round, but not unnaturally round, uplifted and projected forward.) My only complaint is that it comes up a bit too high under the arms on me (not uncomfortable, just inconvenient in a tank top.)

    Pros:
Soft and delicate fabric, but still extremely supportive!
Beautiful colors and pattern- even prettier in person.
Sturdy band won't be stretching much any time soon.
    Straps adjust to infinity.
The band and cups fit just right on me.
    SO comfy and supportive.

    Cons:
The pattern would be really visible under a lot of clothes.
Comes up high under the arms, but that might just be because I'm short.
    Seams might show under clothes.
Lace at the top of the cups is a little delicate.
Straps are just a smidgen far apart on me, but I have narrow shoulders.

This bra is really lovely and comfortable, but it doesn't fit quite right. The cups are just a smidgen too big- not enough to go down a cup size. The main problem, though, is that it just comes up wayyy too high under the arms on short-torso'ed me.

I'd definitely recommend it for someone taller, but at 5'2" I just don't have enough distance between my boobs and my armpits to fit this bra!

On the plus side, though, it's very well constructed, gives a great shape (almost all my bras are Freyas for this reason) and the fabric is very sturdy and supportive despite feeling really delicate.

I'm more of a lower pole kind of person, so I find the deco bras to be excellent for my breast type. It's really helped to migrate my breast tissue back in place and gives excellent lift. I have no complaints. It makes a great t-shirt or every day bra. Doesn't add any cleavage, which is a good thing if you're not wearing a shirt or dress to flatter, but I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking to get that extra oomph. As with all Freya bras, from what I've read anyway, the band tends to run slightly too big and the cup slightly small.

    Freya Daphne Half-Cup, 30F

    Stretched Band - 30"
    Band Length - 25.5"
    Cup Width - 6"
    Cup Depth - 9.5"
    Wire Length - 10"
    Cup Seperation - 0.75"
    Strap Width - 0.75"
    Hooks - 2

As far as I'm concerned...this bra fits me. It's the same style as the Pasty so the fit is the same (except for the center gore, on this one it is narrower by 0.25" ). The fabric is softer, like a microfiber feel (the shorts bottoms are super comfy!!), the band doesn't feel as scratchy against the skin.

    Pros:
Padded enough to moderately conceal but not thick that it adds to size.
Vertical seams offering better support in the cup.
Soft fabric, has a t-shirt bra ... feel though the seams will show through very fitted tops.
Lace detail isn't too heavy but will also show through tighter tops.
Band is true to size - completely stretched is just about 30" so this will fit a 29-30" ribcage appropriately.
Wideset straps (oddly enough, not too wide, they manage to stay in place) and lowcut neckline, perfect for scoopneck shirts.

    Cons:
Cups run smaller than the plunge version because they're shallower and shorter. I had to size up (as I did for the Patsy).
For me, this is big in the band. Unstretched it's only a half inch bigger than my frame so I will be taking this in to a 28.

    *ETA*
You can see the band riding up in the side shots, it's dropping the cups a little so it looks like they're too big on me. An E would have given quad-boob. Once I take this in a few inches it should fit better. I'm thinking about making it to a size 27 instead of 26 or 28.

    Update 7/12/12-
Altered to a size 26! The measurements are now 22.5" unstretched, 26.5" stretched. While it fits a lot better, there is discomfort because it's so firm. And not the kind you'd expect from a smaller band.

This fits perfect now, though I'm still leaving it as not fitting as that will mess up the recs for me, and others too.

I recently outgrew my 28FF Decos, and since this bra can't be beaten, I had to go and buy 3 different colors of the 28G. Still my favorite bra.... I wear a Deco almost every day of the week.

I LOVE the look and feel of this bra. It's just so cute and soft! I bought it on sale against my best judgment, alas it does not fit!

However, for those who can find this discontinued style, it fits about the same as the other freya half-cups, but this one is just so pretty!

Much better comfort wise than wired deco which leaves marks/indents on my skin https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> see pic

    • Hi! Is this your normal freya size or your "deco" size? I know a lot of people need to size down in the cups for the deco. I was wondering if the soft cup was the same way?

    • In the regular deco I wear a 28FF, which sometimes fits, other times I think I am really a 28G. I will probably order the 28G wireless one and write a review :)

    • so overall you would say that the wireless deco is a bit smaller in the cup?

    • sorry I'm really not sure, it's hard to tell. I will get back to you once I get the 28G

    • okay. no problem :) just super curious since I'm interested, but also kind of in between sizes. thank you for your feedback!

    • I'd say the wireless is a little bit smaller in the cup, but also you can kind of get away with the size being not as perfect because the cups are more flexible than the regular deco IMO.

This bra is so pretty! I love how it looks. The fabric seems to be a synthetic type fabric, not particularly soft, but not scratchy either.

This bra gives me a pointy look. I don't think this is necessarily due to the bra, because I'm having some fit issues with it in general. Underneath clothing, it doesn't look pointy at all, though. It gives a very natural shape(not unnaturally round, but not pointy or 'saggy' either)

It doesn't poke at all, although I did bend the underwires to conform with my ribcage better. This helped tremendously, as there were two points on the underwire that just put a lot of pressure on my ribs originally.

The straps are relatively wide, but they are very soft. They don't have that 'lace' edge that some straps have. They are totally smooth, which I really prefer!

If I could get the fit issues taken care of, this would easily be one of my favorite bras!

I wrote a more detailed story in my review of the regular freya deco in 28F. Unfortunately, between receiving a 28FF and deciding it was too small, then returning and exchanging for a 28F, my boobs seem to have grown while my underbust somehow shrank, making the 28F the wrong size! I decided to keep the 28F freya deco and freya hatty because they give rockin' cleavage and don't cause any other problems.... That being said!

In terms of want versus need, I probably didn't NEED the hatty. I wanted it! It is so, so gorgeous. The molded padded bras speak familiarity to me, as that's basically all I ... wore(along with anyone else in the ill-fitting bra world) before finding my correct size. Not only that, but the hatty is just a pretty color, has pinstripes and a cute button detail. What's not to love? It was light in enough in color to probably wear under light-er(read: not totally white) clothing.

As far as I can tell, the 28F hatty doesn't fit any differently than the 28F freya deco in black. It's a beautiful bra, well made, and can perhaps satisfy your desire for a truly fitting molded, padded bra!

    Didn't fit

So a while back, I ordered a 28FF freya deco and 28FF freya (deco) hattie. When they finally arrived from the UK, they were both most obviously too big in the cups, despite frantic scooping and swooping. Defeated, I sent them back to exchange for a 28F in both bras. After all, they run a little big, right?

Finally, weeks later, I receive yet another package from the UK with my 28F freya deco in gorgeous black. It looks lovely! I was so excited to try it on, because beyond a little bit of gaping in the 28FF, it was very comfortable and worked with my shape.

Alas... Somewhere in ... between trying on the 28FF and receiving the 28F, my measurements seem to have shifted! Call it tissue re-migration or just plain ol' boob growth, but the underbust went down an inch and the overbust went up an inch. I get the good ol' quadboob(or shall we just call it rockin' cleavage?) in the 28F! Argh!

To be quite honest, though, it is not uncomfortable quadboob, nor is it entirely visible. There is still a relatively smooth line underneath clothing, and the bra is mega comfortable. For whatever reason, the band feels very firm, despite the previous reports of the deco being large in the band. I'm keeping the 28F, despite the fact that it doesn't fit properly, because sometimes a gal just needs a great cleavage bra, and the slightly-small freya deco in 28F is that bra for me.

On a practical note, I wore this bra to a wedding the evening after I got it. This was a wedding where I did a lot of moving around, a TON of very enthusiastic dancing, and lots of running up and down flights of stairs for the dear bride. My boobs didn't hurt, they didn't feel like they were moving so much, and for once, I kind of forgot about my bra. So maybe this is really how the deco is supposed to fit. Either way, it works for me, even if it is not a textbook definition of "fit" https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

I really want to like this bra. The cups run large -- I'm ordinarily a 28D -- but after that's been accommodated for, there's nice lift and shaping. But the underwires dig into my ribs underneath my breasts, and dig into my sternum at the center. Just really not comfortable. It looks great, though, and I'm hoping maybe things will settle in with some wear.

This is a great bra for my full on bottom breasts, and my breasts are quite wide set, but this bra gives a beautiful cleavage. There's a little quadraboob-effect on my bigger boob, but the 28G was way too big for my smaller breast, and it's not so bad, so I wear this bra often. It's a very comfortable bra.
