This bra is super super cute and flattering. I am still figuring out the best fit for me, but when I measured myself I came up with 30F and so far either 30F or 32E seems to be a good fit. I had some gaping on the top in this bra - the fabric is soft and smooth but not quite structured enough for me. I love it, but I'm going to exchange it for something more practical for the day-to-day.
This bra has never fit me properly. The band has always been way too big (I was worried about going any smaller). The cups gap on me and it's just all around a poor fit. This is not due to the bra construction, as it's very comfortable, even despite not fitting well. The bra has lasted me quite some time, and my only complaint is that the colors bleed. I can't really comment on the fit since I purchased it in the wrong size. I have to say, this bra is gorgeous - it's in the right colors and polka dots will never be a miss with me!
However, for ladies my size or similar, the band is much too big. The cups aren't really too big, but the band makes them gap a lot. Neither the gore nor the underwire dig in, and the straps are ncie and comfortable.
I love this bra, but if you fluxuate a lot in breast size you can be taken by surprise and wearing a bra that is far too small all of a sudden! You will spill right out the front! Great lift but the "runaway titty" risk can be great if it is a bit small in the cup.
I recently got measured as a 28DD and needed to buy a new bra. Seemed like a good fit at first (Certainly better than the 32A I was in before!) But it still seems quite wonky!
I seem to over fill one cup completely, and then don't have enough boob for the other cup! Also seems to dig into my armpit area, pushing some boob or just armpit fat around in a weird way.
It does give a nice cleavage, but it's a little lumpy to wear under tshirts.
Whenever I put this bra on initially, it is very comfortable. Every now and then, something will feel just a bit off later on in the day, but I can't put my finger on what. I feel like this bra pushes my boobs a little too much to the center. It is not that I need wider wires, just that the structure of the cups is such that it pushes together as well as up, which is not necessarily my preference. This may be more desirable with a lower cut shirt, but otherwise it actually makes my breasts look smaller. The fabric is soft, but doesn't seem as ...breathable as other bras I've had. Otherwise, the fit is seemingly great, and it's a very pretty bra. I can't tell if it has stretched out in the short time I have worn it, or if it has always been a little big, but I have already had to switch to the middle hook(after about a month of owning it). I should be wearing a 28 band, so take that as you will(although in the beginning I could wear it on the loosest hook with no issue). Read more 87 more words
This bra feels simultaneously too big and too small...my boobs were coming out the top a little, as though the cup was too small, but at the same time the fabric was wrinkled, as if I needed a smaller cup size. When leaning over the cup fits, but standing up straight, the fabric wrinkles and the breast comes out. The underwire also seemed too small...coming in a little before my ribcage, feeling uncomfortable and as though I was not contained. Might work on another body, but not mine.
Color: Ocean (measurements below for this color only)
Stretched Band: 29.5" Band Length: 24.5" Cup Width: 5.125" Cup Depth: 8.5" Wire Length: 8.375" Cup Seperation: 1.125" Center Gore Height: 1.75" Wing Height: 3.5" Strap width: 0.75" Hooks: 2
Pros: - I love this color! - Seamless and modest, I don't have to worry about showthrough or bumps from embroidery or the edges showing under clothes.
Cons: - Band runs looser in this color than all the other ones. It also stretches out the quickest and I just bought this 7 months ago. - Straps are stiff, they're harder to adjust and tend to feel like they're digging in because of this (not related to a fit issue, this has to do with fabric). On the other hand, that's kind of a good thing because that means they won't do any readjusting on their own.
This is the bra that may make me finally concede that freya just isn't right for me. I wish the fit section of this website allowed us to pick more than one option, as I could only pick one I went with cup not completely full, but truth is it is also cutting just a bit, and this is what often happens, it is cutting at the front and empty at the top. The cutting wasn't much and I could certainly live with it, but the empty, puckering fabric at the top was terrible. This is a great bra - in spite of not fitting it was comfortable and supportive, but the shape of the cup just seems to be a completely different shape to my breast. I have tried so many freya bras now and think I may have to finally give up!
I don't actually own this bra as it didn't fit me and I sent it back when I tried it a couple of years ago, so I can't provide measurements I'm afraid.
It was quite a nice bra and I was hoping it would work for me but sadly it didn't. The main problem is that the cups were just a bit too tall for me and wouldn't lie flat against my boobs. I only fell short by 3-4 mm but no matter what I did I couldn't make the top edge of the cup lie flat.
The good- it's really pretty in person. The floral embroidery is a slightly contrasting colour to the rest of the bra, so it stands out more than it does in pictures.
The bad- the lace along the bottom is a little scratchy, and the elastic at the top and bottom of the band is tighter than the rest of the band, so it sometimes digs in a bit. These two issues combined definitely affect the comfort level, but not to the point that the bra is unwearable.
This was never going to be my favourite bra, as the shape is a bit too pointy for my liking and it separates ...my breasts more than I'd prefer. However, I love the tightness of the band, and the great lift it gives, and when I bought it I knew it would look great under certain outfits. Unfortunately, as the day wears on I get quadraboob on my larger breast, so I can only wear it under tops that have enough detailing/material/falling neckline (don't know how exactly to describe it) to hide the bulge. Luckily I have quite a few tops and dresses with those features, so Jolie will not sit idly in my cupboard. Read more 92 more words
My boobs sit quite high, are full on top and sit very close together, so I tend to go for a balconette as my go-to style. The style of Teagan suited me quite well, and the lightly padded cups give a nice shape, but the band stretched very quickly... within 1-2 weeks I had to wear it on the tightest hook and even then I could have gone tighter (I may have to take it in). I would have needed a 32GG, but it doesn't come in that size. It does give a nice shape and I like the narrower wires that Freya has compared with Cleo bras, but unfortunately Freya doesn't really cater to bust size very well.
This bra did good for me for a while, until I had a size change. This is definately a bra that needs to be delicately washed, as the cup materials are fragile. The bra itself is lovely. I like the mesh design. However, like many bras, the back rides up over time and needs to be adjusted every few hours.
This is an attractive sexy bra that provides lift. The molded cup keeps everything in place and comfortable. The only issue with this bra is that the lace and ribbon that is stitched on the top of the cup shows an indent when wearing it. (Maybe I should have gone a cup size up?)
I have this bra in two solid colors, fuchsia & beige with out the lace/ribbon detail and love it. My first was the fuchsia, which the wire is coming out of the stitching after owning it for 1 year. It wasn't enough to stop me from purchasing it in the beige color.
