My Freya Deco seems to fit me much the same as my Freya Ashlee. Which means, similarly to the Ashlee, I've since outgrown it. Quadraboob is rampant, center gore no longer touches my sternum, etc. Although, trying them on back to back, my quadraboob is noticeably worse in the Ashlee than the Deco. Still bad enough that you notice it in a thin tshirt, but maybe not quite so bad to be seen through a light sweater.
My poor long standing Ashlee. This was the first bra I bought around this time last year when I was adventuring into getting the right size that actually fit. Unfortunately, due to the great job the Freya Ashlee has done for me, some of my tissue seems to have made its way back into my breasts, and she no longer fits nearly as well. Lots of quadraboob now, and thanks to some weight loss, the band is much much much too small for me. Right now I'm wearing a 32G, my measurements say I should be wearing a 30H or a 32GG. Clearly, my Ashlee in a 34FF ...just isn't cutting any more.
I loved that this was such a cute flirty bra. I was so afraid that buying properly sized bras meant ugly old granny bras for the rest of my life. But the cute lace border on the top of the cups, the sexy plunge line and the oh-so-darling striped fabric are just to die for.
I'm not sure if Freya still makes this, but I'd probably buy it again in a newer size. Read more 76 more words
The Freya Eloise is the first mesh paneled bra I've owned. I was somewhat skeptical of the non padded cup at first, but I've grown to love it. It also helps that this fits much better than the other sizes I currently have in bras. It's functional, if maybe a tad gaudy.
This bra fits well, similar fit to the Freya Faye. It was a bit tight initially but loosened up after a few days (I wear my band tight though, as my ribcage is 30.5). Wide comfy straps.
Pretty, and seemed to fit great at first. As with all my 32ff's it's feeling a bit big in the band and small in the cups now. The cups sit on breast tissue, the gore does not sit quite flat, and I get a lot of pit fat. Do you think that's the bra fit, or just that I have pit fat?
I bought this in the same size as my Deco Plunge with straps. At the time they all seemed to fit great. Lately they are all feeling as if the strap is maybe a tiny bit too big, and the cups are maybe too small (as the outside of the wires feel as if they are sitting on breast tissue, and the center gore is not quite flat. With the strapless I am getting this strange folding on the bottom of the cups. I'm guessing I need to try a 30gg, what do you all think?
This bra is very well-built, and the band really stays in place. The band was the perfect size, the underwires didn't poke, but the cups are so big! There's so much empty space that I can fit my hand in the cup. Pity, because it's a very pretty bra and I really wanted a strapless.
Bought back when I was a slightly different shape - it fit better back then.
Right now (I take a 28 or 30 back) it has the strange property of cups that are too loose at the top (and all around on one breast), but stilll cut in at the very front on the bigger one. Possibly the bra would better fit someone with breasts that are set more toward the sides.
The bra has not really stretched out even with a year of fairly frequent use. I think Pollyanna also might have a slightly more rounded shape than most other non-padded Freya bras. The material of the cups is very light and pleasant against the skin - there's a slight stretch to it as well, which I think may be what contributes to the bra taking on a less conical profile.
This bra is an older Freya model and has a very firm band. The shape is the same as the Freya Antoinette. It gives a really nice round shape, and doesn't cut in, even though my boobs are full on top and Freya bras usually do cut in.
My favorite out of the unpadded Freyas that I've tried so far. The underwires come together quite close at the front and are also relatively high up - which keeps away the dreaded fish-eyed boob look and also gives sufficient security for those with softer breasts.
The center gore does come in a bit close. I'm not usually bothered by it, but I can imagine it might chafe a fair bit at the end of the day if you have to go through enough strenous activity in this bra. While the straps fit me (just), they are kind of on the short side. The bra also gives you the rather classic conical Freya shape from the side, so this one's not a great idea when looking for a less constructed silhouette.
One of my earlier escapees into fitting, needless to say this did not fit at all. Made a nice present to my younger sister who 'cant believe she is DD' =)
I do sing its praises, but after breaking in this bra, it is too big in the band and too small in the cup. It was reviewed along with the 'Ocean blue' version. It is far too small now.
This is for the black deco This does give impressively massive cleavage. The fit is not quite perfect though. I have the same problem other full on bottom people have mentioned: I’m getting a small bit of gaping at the top by the strap (not enough to be noticeable under clothing at all though), yet I feel like I’m falling out the middle (hence the massive cleavage). It’s possible I could try a 28FF, but of course the gaping would be more pronounced. I’m on the tightest hook right off the bat, so I’ll be shortening it at some point in the not-so-distant future. (*shakes fist at bra manufacturers for my band size woes*). It does look fantastic under tight clothing and is overall pretty comfortable, so I’m sure I’ll pick up more of these in the future, despite the less-than perfect fit.
I LOVE this bra. I was fitted in a 36HH and had some spillage on the Left side (that breast is bigger), so I have gone up the extra size. I have tightened the straps and I feel so comfortable in this. Perfecto. GREAT, comfortable - roundy, but supported, with great subtle cleavage. I do find the Central Gore could be more snug (it is not QUITE bang up against me) - but this was true also of the 36HH and I hear - this could be a "trait" of the bra.
Band is very loose. On the tightest hook it's still not quite firm enough. I have the beige version and I've heard it's looser than the black, especially in the band. On my largest days I can just fill out the cup but my boobs don't feel supported and their shape is kind of droopy. This is my first Freya so I'm not sure how it compares to others.
This one is not for me. My boobs are pretty close to the same size, but my leftie is quadraboobing a little in this bra and the right one is gaping. When I sit, the tops of both cups gape. I also have some unflattering armpit fat happening and the side of the cup cuts into my armpit a little. It looks pretty great despite all these things, so I can see why so many ladies love it. I also tried a 30E - same issues but worse (but wow, the cleavage).
