The edge of the bra near the underarm could do with being a bit deeper (i.e need a bigger cup size) and I would like the bra to cover all of the breast tissue towards the armpit because the bra shifts around so much (loose band). BUT Freya do not do a 28FF in this size, so I will keep this bra for now, for my 'smaller days' or when I need some cleavage.
So my verdict is the cups run small and the band is very stretchy and too big in my case (typically I require a very tight 28 Freya band). It is good enough for now but I don't think the band will last much longer for giving much support, and the cups are inescapably too small in certain areas.
Definitely good quality product, but was bought because there was no better options locally. Wires pokes a little bit at the centre gore of the bra. And it 'fits' because it's snug and wires become more wide and cups more shallow when I put the bra on. The same wires with a larger band would kill me ( I have very wide set breasts and something like an inch between breasts and almost no tissue in inner top quarter, poor me). It looks good under clothes, if they have no transparency, gives a very rounded shape, but a little bit uncomfortable because of centre gore.
This was by far my best bra for years as it was so soft. The form was absolutely amazing. But it's isn't that durable. On that respect Polyanna is more sturdy.
A lovely bra with nice details. The cups are covered with a stripped fabric and trimmed with lace and a velvet stripe. I find the band, like most Freya bands, a bit stretchy. (I prefer a very firm band such as on the Cleos Juna I own.)
I now fully understand why GG+ ladies are not always the biggest fans of Freya's bras. The difference in construction between their D-G cup bras and the GG+ bras is striking. I've heard the larger sizes described as "industrial", and I think that's an accurate word to use. The straps and band are wider; the cup comes up farther under the arms and on the chest; the cup fabric is thicker; and most annoyingly, the proportions of lace to fabric on the cups just seem off. Because the fabric of the cups is thicker, the seams on the cups are also more noticeable under some clothing. (I know not everyone is worried about this, but for those who are...) The fabric of this bra is very pretty, and does cover the straps almost all the way down the back. Fortunately, the straps are still fully adjustable as the adjuster-thingy easily slides right over the fabric. I usually need a 30 band (my ribcage measures 30" ), but had no trouble at all comfortably hooking the band on this bra.
This is my first bra in maybe my size. I was measured at Victorias Secret at a 36C and when I was clearly popping out of that, they plopped me in a 36DD. I was on the tightest hook and it was still too loose plus the straps were falling down and I have broad shoulder so I thought that was weird. I researched some online and figured out that I was wearing the wrong size. I tried some 34DD but the wire was sitting on top of my boob and really uncomfy. This might be my first bra that is comfortable and maybe fits. I mostly fell in love with it because the band and wires feel good plus its green with polka dots. How could I not love that. I'm not sure about the size though but maybe I just need to get used to it. I also like that the straps are fully adjustable. Even though I'm tall a lot of the time the straps don't adjust enough for my shoulder to boob length.
Oh mama, this one is so pretty, hot pink with light blue flowers. It makes great shape and gives support. I'm waring it only one day and I've got only one con - it pokes in the armpits, the uderwire is tiny bit too wide. But I love it! Edit: the band it's too big for me, I really have to switch to band 30 in Freyahttps://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
Bought this back when I found my 28FF Deco left me with space at the top of the cup. I later realised this is due to me having bottom-heavy boobs, and the 28F was far too small. In the right size, I love this bra! Gives me a perfect rounded shape and a smooth line under clothing. I get some cleavage, but not a lot - again, I think you would get more if you are fuller on top. It's very comfortable for me to wear, which is no doubt thanks to the low centre gore. There are two downsides: the first is that I often have to rearrange a little by the end of the day to avoid gaping at the top. The second is that the band runs large and stretches quickly, and as I really need a 26 band to start with, I have to alter the bands to make sure they don't ride up. Also, as it is a moulded cup you have to treat it carefully when you wash it.
The moulded cup is nice and gives me a fine cleavage but I'm not sure if the bra fits well. There are some problems in stemum area and I guess the band size is too wide. 28 DD or E woud brobably fit better.
This is a great bra, though the cups are just a tiny bit small on me in the cups; I tend to spill out if I don't adjust myself every once in a while. Other than that, it's supportive, and it gives the boobs a nice, not-too-round, not-too-pointy shape.
The color and pattern are plain enough that it looks great under clothes, but it's still really pretty. It's also great quality- I got it months ago, and it's maintained its shape, color, etc. wonderfully.
One nice feature is that the straps are adjustable to an expansive range of lengths, so it can potentially work for people with differently-shaped shoulders and heights.
Great fitting bra, what i wear everyday. However, it's pretty uncomfortable (leaves deep red marks all over). I've tried getting a 30 band but that is too loose and rides up. I wish the under-wire was padded for comfort!
This bra is really pretty but kind of awkwardly cut. The top of the cup gets narrow around the velvet strip, and can cause the appearance of quad boob despite fitting everywhere else. It runs about a size smaller than the Deco that it's supposed to mimic. It's a stunning looking bra, but can only be worn with low cut tops.
I hate beige bras. Seriously. I wear all black so they always get dye transfer and wind up looking gross. My boyfriend called this my "ugly grandma bra". I bought this one at Nordstrom's because I went in for a fitting and needed a bra that wasn't too loose in the back and fit all my breast tissue in the cup. The fitting was fantastic and the bra made my breasts really pop. I dropped the $60 right there, and it was my go-to bra for a few months. Initially, the material of the shoulder straps was abrasive, but it has softened up with wear. Since then my boobs have grown and I need to get resized for one of these... and I'm not going to buy it in nude.
As soon I saw this bra I wanted to own it! I love the print and the look of this bra. First I bought in my normal size, 32E, but as with other bras from Freya, the band is too stretchy. Also the cups were to small and there were overspill, and now I have figured out, that I wear a 30FF in the lightly padded styles from Freya. It is very comfortable and I love love the longline style, and though it has a tendency to “roll up” throughout the day, it isn´t a problem. I´m looking forward to the summer and to wear this bra with a pair of high waisted shorts or a loose fitting see-through top https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
100% I agree that a smaller band and 2 or 3 cups up would fit better.
