The usual Freya issue with running large in the back; however, unlike the Arabella this one doesn't get all loose in the back and band. It's kept its shape really well and gives great support. The cup fabric is also quite firm, making it great for those days when you feel like you have two water cannons stuck on the front of you!
Cup shape is reasonably round, but not too much "side-boob" going on there. I have this in a 36HH as well, but the J is definitely better for me.
I got this as a second, so I can't really speak to the quality of first-run bras in this style, but after a while the shoulder straps began to fray a bit. It's not noticeable to others, but it might be time to replace it. If only they still made it in the glorious grey!
It fit really well when I bought it quite a while ago. Unfortunately, the powermesh at the back stretches out quite quickly, so it's not so comfortable now!
It's a really gorgeous bra, but anyone thinking of buying one might want to go down a back size (and up a cup) and use a back extender until the back stretches out. Other than that, it holds up really well.
It can give you a bit of a pointy look, which I don't mind but some might.
Honestly, this bra is not a great fit for me. The underwires stabbed me in the chest, there was room in the cup, and the wires came away from my body at the bottom. I bought it anyway and bent the wires to give the bra a broader shape, and it seems to have resolved some fit issues, though I still wouldn't say this is a super comfy bra.
Best bra I've ever owned! Holds me in, looks great under a tshirt or a dress, and is perfect in general! Even held up to my bellydance class! Just wish it came in more colors
I got this on sale, in a cup size larger than I normally wear in Freya. I figured it would be good for days when my boobs are larger, because my other Freya bras tend to cut in slightly on the top on those days.
The band seems firmer than a normal Freya, truer to size.
Half of the straps have a decorative animal print on them, like the rest of the bra. However, you can still fully adjust them.
Even though it's a bit big on days when I'm small, the support and shape is there.
It's a nice animal/leopard print without being obnoxious.
I now call this bra my "holy hell, look at my cleavage" bra. It's a cup size to small, which gives me a bit of quadraboob, but it's not too extreme. Back when I bought this bra, I never wore it much because I wasn't as comfortable with the plunge cups. I get my wear out of it now under low cut tops/dresses. I love the details on the bottom of the band and the flower pattern
This was a bra fitted for me and the band feels great around my back. The initial fit was pretty great, but I have found that my left breast, which is slightly bigger than my right breast overspills very slightly in the HH cup. I think I would need a J cup in this, particularly to remove the excess jiggle from the slight overspill on my left breast.
I am quite heavy chested with a wide root and wide breasts which are heavy on the bottom. Apart from the overspill issue - this is a pretty great bra.
This seems to fit ok--no wrinkles/gaping on my larger breast (it wrinkles on my smaller breast, because it's almost a full cup smaller). But the bra creates a strange shape--very flattened on top. Not sure if this is a size or style issue. I don't have this problem with standard Freya styles like Pollyanna, Jolie.
Love this bra. It's the favorite one I've tried so far. I'm a very no-frills girl and don't really care for the lacy kind of bras, which makes the simplicity of this one perfect. It supports me well, nothing pokes, nothing hurts, nothing digs. I love that the cups aren't wide or super far apart. Now, over 8 months later, one of the wires is starting to bend and the band has stretched a bit, but not enough to bother and goodness knows I've worn the heck out of it. Still.. I may try a 28 with an extender for the first bit next time.
I love this bra, it fits well and the cleavage effect is quite nice! I accidentally bought wrong size before I was professionally fitted, and now the model is discontinued so I need to hunt eBay for finding a 38F size of this!
The pattern on this bra is a very pretty lime green and purple floral (orchid) print with lime green lace around the edges and a light green bow. At first the outsides of the underwires had loose material, but this cleared up when I greatly tightened the straps. Now the bra fits me quite well (I usually wear a 28D in Freya and 28DD in Cleo/Panache). The band is a little stretchy for me, but comfortable.
I reviewed this bra in a size 28G but because I had fit issues with the cup being too small. I purchased the size 30G. It would be the sister size to a 28GG if Freya made that size. But they do not make a 28GG which is the size I need. The cups fit very well and keep my boobs contained. The band is on the tightest set of hooks right off the back, so I plan to take the band in to fit my 26 inch ribcage. I still like that the straps are fully adjustable. Other than a band that’s too big, this bra fits great in the front and works very well under a white tee shirt. You can still kind of see it because the color nude is still too light for my skin tone. To combat this I just wear a thin white or nude tank under my white tee.
28F Deco fits me perfectly, but in this version I need an FF which doesn't exist. Nice and firm around the band and a very sexy shape, though not sure I want the extra padding which is slight but the cups do feel thicker than the normal Deco even at the top. I'd buy this if Freya produced a 28FF! I can't tell from trying it on briefly but the centre gore may dig, but this seems to happen with higher centre fronts on me as I guess my boobs must be close together.
The cups are too big for me. I think an FF or G would be a better fit with this band size, however, I can easily fasten the tightest hooks so I think I need a 28. The bottom of the wires still press against my ribs and the sides rub against my arms. This could be due to the size, or maybe this model just isn't for the petite.
The sturdy band and wide straps offer substantial support. I was surprised to see that it gives a really nice profile. I can fit into the same shirts as with some of those so-called minimizers.
Felt pretty uncomfortable when first put on, underwire digs in, but this does ease off. Very, very supporting and lovely shape. Makes me look quite 'booby' though! Good cleavage. Great under t shirts, seamless and soft.
My Lucy in 32h fits perfectly but her sister Clarissa is too small in cups and the top of the cups is cutting into breasts. The band it's nice and smug and I love the fabric. The design isn't the prettiest but it's not so badhttps://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> I think size 32hh would be perfect.
It's a nursing bra, has no underwires. It was quite hard to do the measurmentshttps://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Band streched quite quickly but bra is used and washed ( in a washing mashine) all the time. It gives breasts nice support from all sides and it's easy to use when feeding the baby. It's ok to wear at home and at nighthttps://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
This bra has very big band for brand new bra, size 34 was too loose for my 77cm. After shortening the band bra feels tighter but construction isn't the best. I've read few reviews about this bra and it looks like nobody in similar size was happy with it. It doesnt give much lift and keeps boobs seperate. Anyway, it's really pretty and comfy so I will keep it as a "around the house" brahttps://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> After wearing it I can say the cups are too small and the frill on the top of cups is visible under clothes.
This is a great plunge bra. I prefer an unpadded bra for my everyday bras, so I purchased this to work under specific tops and for special occasions. It makes a beautiful, clean, rounded shape under clothing. Surprisingly, although the padding is not thin, it doesn't add much visual bulk. I suspect that this is because the bra pushes the breasts front and center, slimming the profile from the front.
I have but two minor complaints. First is that the top ridge of the cup shows through some thinner materials. However, this is more a gripe with padded bras in general than with ...the Deco itself. Second, the "nude" color of this bra doesn't match my skin tone at all; it's more of a peach color than a flesh.
I've only worn this bra a handful of times, so I'll have to update my review later on to comment on its longevity.
Pros: - Great cleavage. My breasts don't seem to escape the cups to pool in the center as they've done in other padded styles I've tried. - Smooth under clothes. There's no telltale seam along the upper lip of the cup to show through thin materials.
Cons: - I prefer a nude that's a tad darker than my skin to blend in under clothing, and I doubt many women will find this to be the case with the peachy Deco.
