For a molded bra I had a very good fit with this. The gore is just a tad high and twists a little. It was comfortable. Was deep enough for me, everything stayed where it should. Straps are placed a little too wide and even though I adjust the length, one side still slips from time to time. The band has stretched out pretty quickly in the time that I've had.
If the gore was .5" shorter this would be my ideal bra. I am close set and it twists just a little bit but at least I don't have that center tissue slide. I like that the cups are smooth with the soft lace detail on top. Not itchy to me and that's what seems to bug me about many lace styles. Band isn't constricting and has a little stretch as do the cups but not that anything gets sloppy. The seams do show through light sweatshirts but most probably do. Nice side support to keep everything like it should be.
I wanted this bra to work by dear god. It is so cute, and has nicely wide wires which properly encapsulate my tissue. However, it is way too closed on top with a very wide gore, and I have average to slightly tall roots. The bra slides down when I breathe in heavily, because my chest pushes at the top of the cup and shoves it down. The wires in the center also sit a bit too much on my chest for my liking, since I am fairly close set. The whole bra gives me profile a weird bump on top, due to how short the cups are.
...I tried a 30F, but that was a bit too big, the wires were just way too wide, the gore dug. While the closed top of the bra make the bigger size not as obvious as some, it was definitely getting into parachute-bra territory. A shame, I feel as if nothing by freya works for me or will ever work. Maybe the padded half cup is more open on top? I may try that. I was able to find a good fit with the Skarlett Blue Entice in 30E, so I know there are a few balconettes that can work for me. Read more 102 more words
I was hoping for a bra that provided more shaping but since these aren’t padded it’s expected. I just don’t wear them with anything too form fitting (makes me feel naked or like my nips pop out). But it’s comfortable enough to wear casually. Plus it being virtually “shapeless” helps to see what your boobs actually look like. For me, putting this on felt like I was seeing my boobs for the first time. I used to think they were either too small or too big or not enough cleavage but this bra gave me a huge confidence booster.
The straps are thicker than I’m used to, usually mine are more spaghetti strap-y. However, given that this is the first bra that actually fits me, I’m so happy with it.
Has scalloped strap edges to prevent strap adjustments from slipping. Too much side boob and quad boob. The wire seems to be wide enough, horizontally, but too low vertically so that my armpit tissue isn’t enclosed at all. Seems to have much less lift than needed. I returned this bra.
As someone who is slightly FOT with narrower roots and very close set tissue, I adore this plunge bra. I was starting to spill a bit out of the 30DD in this lately, and noticed my chest seemed to be a bit more full (my size does tend to oscillate a lot). I remeasured on ABTF, and the calculator suggested 28F, with 30E being more comfortable. I prefer a 30 band as it is more comfortable for me on average. I took the plunge (HAHA) and ordered this on amazon thinking the 30E would be huge on me, but it is not at all! It fits amazing for ...a molded cup? The cups lie flat unless I slouch. It actually gaps less than the 30DD - I'm assuming because the cups have more room to fit my tissue in and are not bowing out from being too small. The wires are perfect for my roots. I always thought the 30DD had a weirdly tight band, but the band is the same on this and feels more comfortable, so I think the 30DD was just a touch too small. It's interesting to see how subtle a cup size difference is compared to what we're taught. I will be saving the older size in case my size goes down, but it does seem like 30E fits me better overall. It is also more flattering, as I am not getting unattractive side boob. Really great option if you have a lot of upper fullness and need a low gore and like padded/molded bras. I really wanted a plain black bra, this was on sale for $30 on amazon, so I got it. It gives a very round shape, and very comfortable.
Is it perfect? No, because it is just a little too open at the top for my short roots, (the cups are tall), but it is comfortable and as someone who is slightly FOT, and thus functionally even, it fits really well. I am also very center full with narrower roots, so the plunge gore and shorter, narrow wires work quite well. This is my favorite t shirt bra and the only one that works so far.
I love this bra! It is a really solid fit, cute, and has padding so you don't get "headlights." Nice deep cups and fairly narrow wires, with a narrow gore. I like that it is so open, as I need a lot of upper open-ness in my bras to not quad. The gore is tall but narrow, so it is not uncomfortable. Also, the material is very soft. I wish freya made more bras like this still. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
Like the deco but the band runs too big for a 30, so it was riding up and falling down without being on the tightest hook. May exchange for a 28E, but it's pricey, so maybe not.
Shape: Average projection, very center-full, short to medium roots, even when supported, softer tissue from weight loss (and just always how I've been shaped)
This bra doesn't work for me. I'm not sure if it's worth trying any other freya plunges in this genre (gateway back, etc). It is way too closed on top with a very wide gore which will not tack with how center-full I am. I believe it is too projected due to how much wrinkling is in the cup despite it being on the smaller end of my size range. I can't get the straps tight enough for it to look good either. It ...is also very large in the band - it's too big for me even on the tightest hook. I've tried a 30E in this previously, which was obviously huge. I could hypothetically try a 28E/F to see if the tighter band will tack, but at this point I don't believe this is the right bra for me. The lack of a side-support panel gives me kind of a weird square look in it, and my softer tissue needs a bit more structure. Read more 82 more words
I wanted this to work. I believe it is just slightly too projected for me and too closed in the center.. The gore is too wide for me being center full, so it digs in and hurts. It sucks as it is very pretty.
Cute basic bra with pretty lace and scalloped cup edge. The center of the cups are a little too far apart for my chest; I have about 2 fingers width between my breasts when they are supported and the outer edges of the underwire in the gore measure at least 1.25 inches apart. The band feels comfortable - it's pretty stretchy - and is relatively wide for only having two hooks. The straps have barely any stretch to them so they feel pretty supportive for how thin they are. If you have a bigger/ heavier chest they may dig in a little, but I didn't notice any problems ...in the albeit short time I wore the bra. The cups of the bra are very shallow with essentially no immediate projection. The foam is flexible enough that it tries to conform to your shape but I still had some wrinkles at the bottom of the bra and quadboob on top since I have a lot of immediate projection. Overall, the bra seems well-made, just not the best fit for my chest. Read more 71 more words
Cute, simple bra with minimal padded lining. The sides are sheer while the cups are not. The bra seems pretty shallow and the band has a lot of stretch. Overall seems like a solid bra, just not the right fit for my chest.
I'm very center full with narrow roots. I'm more full on bottom, but generally need non-shallow bras that are more open on top to accommodate my center fullness.
This bra is technically my best fit, but it is extremely unflattering on me. The wires are actually narrow enough to sit in my IMF all the way around, and the center edge of the cup is tight, but doesn't noticably cut in. Something about the design of this bra seems to pull my breasts out and down, because I get a very pointy shape that I'm not a fan of.
HOW IT FEELS: Comfortable most everywhere. Only exception is the center gore needs to be a little higher or lower to be unnoticeable (update: bent the wires out a little, feel has improved with time).Band is tight enough but not restricting.
ABOUT ME: Tall roots, very close set (less than a pinkie width between breasts), slightly center full, even vertical fullness (possibly functionally FOT due to tall roots). Average for projection, root width, and tissue softness/firmness. I think my tissue is soft enough to where shallower bras can work ok for me if they're more open on top, or taller cups.

HOW IT FEELS: Same cut as Freya Offbeat Plunge AA5452. Best neutral match for my skin tone I’ve ever had (natural beige colorway). Fit seems identical to offbeat plunge, but fancies plunge gore is less noticeable than offbeat plunge gore. Stretchy lace top of cup accommodates my monthly size fluctuations pretty well. Right amount of room at the wire, sits in imf all day without adjustments. Happy with this purchase and will watch for more colors and similar cuts.

HOW IT FEELS: Same cut as Freya Fancies AA1011. I was skeptical of the single hook on the back of the band, but the rest of the bra is so well constructed it feels solid. It’s unconventional and cute on the back. I love the lace – the top cups are stretchy without the mesh lining and allow my breasts to be their own shape. There’s no extra side support panel, but the construction seems to still pull everything forward. I really like how this bra feels on!

HOW IT FEELS: Same cut and feel as Freya Tailored High Apex 401121. The bottom mesh layer is non-stretch and the stretchy upper layer helps hide the mesh seams. The stretch lace is fairly thick and will be more noticeable under thin light colored tops. High plunge works great for my shape. The gore on Freya plunges is an ok height - still sits on my tissue, but evenly and at the right spot where my breasts can’t push down on the gore wire tips.
