This one is just as the nude version in the same size that I've already reviewed, so for the full story, read that one. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
I got this one in black at the same time as the nude one, know a year ago. Now I've worn both a lot, even though they really don't fit just because of how fabulous they are. However, it didn't take more than a month before the wire in this one poked out. I never made any complaints about it, since sending it back would mean a whole lot of work, more than it was worth.
However you ...find your size in this one I really recommend it. Better t-shirt/plunge/cleavage bra all at once probably doesn't exist. Go down a bandsize and keep your usual cup size and then you'll get at least a good guess on the size you should be wearing.
---------------------------------------------------- Pros: + T-shirt bra + Plunge + Cleavage + Support
Cons: - Large band results in issues if not the correct size - Large cup also means hard to find the correct size - May gape on the top for empty-on-top breast - Plunge model means running in stairs still should be avoided. - Doesn't go higher than GG in most bands and a G in 28-bands.
This review is for the color "Nude". Purchased Late-April 2011. Measured brand new & unstretched before wearing.
I have olive skin and the color is far too pale for me and shows through every shirt it shouldn't, if it were a proper "nude" (read: disappearing under clothing). It's an extremely fair skin tone. Recommended for women who burn while tanning or tan super easily.
I love this bra but started on 2nd hook as the band is loose on me. Around the time of this purchase I found a local store (WOW!) carrying 28G but found it just a bit too tight in the band and cup. Anticipate 28GG would fit even better (with an extender for the first few months) if it were made!
The molded cups are a little funny because my boobs shift around and don't always fill them perfectly. But that's more of a molded cup thing than an issue specific to this bra. It's discreet under clothing, aside from the occasional edge of the cup showing. Comfortable, cleavage-inducing and supportive, I liked this bra so much I bought two!
Year later: I moved up a cup size and now am clearly spilling out of the bra. Though, it just looks like I have mondo cleavage, so I didn't notice for a long while.
GREAT cleavage & very comfortable. Although for my meaurements (66.5cm rib/86cm bust) I find that the band is too big. It fits well (since new) on the tightest hook, but even still could be tighter in my opinion, especially after a long period of wearing it. Also, my bust is just a tiny bit too small for the cups, however due to the incredible shape of this bra, this is not noticable even under the thinnest of shirts. This brs has not lost shape or elasticity in the 6 months I have owned it. Straps are kind of thick, but not out of par with most bras intended for larger cupped women. Not overly sexy looking, but okay. I love this bra and definitely recommend it, it is great for cleavage, enhancement, and shape! I have ordered a 28G and will review that when I get it.
I found the cups to be small on this style in my normal 34GG. As H isn't available, I had to go up a band size to accommodate, which fits 'OK' on the tightest hook, but a 34H would have been perfect. It does give you a 'natural' shape, and having worn molded cup all my life it was definitely something to get used to. I found it comes up very high for a plunge style, reminds me more of a full cup bra. Pattern is very cute though
The description of this bra states that it is padded, it is not. The fit is ok, I would like the underwire to be a little wider. The band does not stretch out like a lot of Freya bras do, it stays fitting firm all day. Overall, a good bra. Not for T-shirt wear, but good for sweaters and other thicker clothing.
This bra is incredibly pretty, very comfortable, and gives a great shape under clothes. It did stretch out slightly after washing but it still fits ok. I expect it to last a long time.
1. Love the shape, it gives to my breastshttps://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> (a round shape). 2. Tight band (good). 3. I have to set up the bra straps to offten. 4. Love the bra in the fuchsia colourhttps://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> 5. The cups are almost like 30ff, much bigger then, for example, matilda or greta. 6. I like soft, fabric bras and I don't like very much the high wires on the front.
1. I love the fabric, it's really soft and nice. 2. The band is tight, but comfortable, and it's "working" with the body. 3. For me, the cups are "small" 30f. 4. It makes my brests look very natural. 5. For my, the wires are to long in the part between the cups. For my "close together" boobs plunge bras are the best. In bras with looser band I don't feel the long wires digging in my breast so much, also I can wear, for example, Nemesis by Masquerade. I wish, I could wear Matilda, becouse I love the soft fabric and the band.
It nearly fit! There's just a smidge of extra space around the top line of the cup. Despite that it still lifted and pushed me out. The band is quite generous. It's a fun and colourful print. Unfortunately for this specific bra someone has done a little damage to it with a pair of scissors, kinda surprised it was considered saleable. If i find this in a 28D i'd try it again.
Same bra as the Lydia 28DD, but this one seems to be straight from the manufacturer as it feels tighter in the band and closer in the cup. So i imagine no one has tried it on before me. Like the 28D Deco the top of the cup line does not lie flat against me. So it gets returned.
Same as the Freya Lydia and Deco in 28DD it nearly fits but there's still space at the top of the cup. It just won't sit down. It still produces amazing cleavage. I'm unsure about the width (narrowness) of the cups, it may not be compatible with me. Great bra if you can get the top edge to lay flat.
This is a great bra, but I think I need a 34F instead of a 32F. The styling is beautiful, very feminine. It is supportive, but the actual underwires are not long enough...they don't come up as far as they should, they stop mid boob on the outer side. I do like this bra, so I will be ordering one in the larger size. One more note... the band size is a little smaller than average, so keep this in mind when sizing.
This bra is basically the same as the Freya Deco, but in a cute purple/cream leopard print. I got this in the same size as the Deco, and the fit and comfort is the same. It gives you a nice rounded shape, and the plunge style lets you wear it under a variety of tops. The plunge isn't as severe as other styles, meaning large breasts don't fall through the centre, and I don't have to readjust every 5 minutes. I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a versatile t-shirt bra in a cute print!
I like this bra, it's very pretty and very comfortable. There is just the teensiest bit of wrinkling at the top of the cups, they are maybe 1/8 of a size too big for me, and I had to start wearing it on the tightest hook (even then it was not exactly a snug fit) so I would say the band size might be off by an entire size. I have it in black with bluish-grayish flowers... it doesn't really look that nice to me in the lighter colors without the contrast.
Definitely my favorite bra, hands down. It looks amazing under any sort of clingy shirt, but you have to watch out to make sure the sides don't show through the armholes if you're wearing something sleeveless. The band is a bit large as usual, but I really have no complaints other than that.
The Lydia is almost exactly like the Deco, except more colorful. The material used is slightly stretchier, I think, and stretched out faster, but not much. I still love it. I did notice that the color faded rather quickly on the back material while it is still vibrant on the cups. This bra is, oh, about 9 months old I think.
Hi, I see that the cup width for this bra is listed as 13 inches. I think this must have been a typo: it's not possible for a cup 12 inches deep to be 13 inches wide. Would you mind measuring it again?
I tried to be as accurate as possible when measuring. These are the numbers I got. I no longer have that bra so I cannot measure again.
This bra got a bit too tight for me, (although the band is Freya-like not very tight) so also the cups are too small now. I am very sad about this, because I really love the Deco bra, it is so smooth and comfortable and the wires were perfect for me. The band did not stretch out very much, even though I wore the bra every day. Colour is "nude".
I love this bra, if you want push-up and cleavage enhancement this bra is for you, It is the same as the the Freya Deco - I have no idea why the name is different, as far as I can tell there is no difference. The style of this bra is great, it provides excellent support, and a nice smooth, rounded shape. the quality of the materials and workmanship are good too. The pattern is really cute though it has faded on the back of the bra which I find a bit strange, since this is not a bra I wear or wash often.
I am glad you reviewed this bra too. I see now the cup issue wasn't all in my imagination! LOL
