    Didn't fit

I've had this bra for a while but sort of forgot about it. I pulled it out to compare the fit to the Freya Offbeat Side Support.
Although both are size 28FF, this bra is by far looser in the band.

I still need to measure it, but wearing it today Im sure it's much looser than the Offbeat. It's comfortable on the middle hook. It's not the best fit for my FoT tissues. It's closed on top causing quad-boob. Still, it's comfy & even with the strap shortened on my small side I’m not experiencing discomfort in my ToS.

The matching thong panties are just as stunning as the bra. Size small is true to size, unlike my Comexim panties (I wear size M in those).

I'm going to keep this bra in my rotation and take more notes. I've only tried it on a few times in the remote past.

My favorite. Snug and supportive. Smooth straps. Took a couple wears to break in and now feels really good. Unobtrusive. Great color. The stretch lace has heft, which I like. Feels strong. Some colors available for $30-45 on Amazon (US). Despite my initial concern about its comfort, I now think this is the most comfortable, well-fitting bra I’ve ever worn.

    Hasn't set fit

The offbeat side support bra does not work for me, because the gore is too tall, so I decided to give the plunge version a try.

here are some differences between those 2 bras:
Freya Offbeat Side Support Bra (5451)
-2 hook or 3 hook closure
    - double layered cup
    - stretchy lace upper cup
    - 4 part side support construction
    - taller gore

    Freya Offbeat Plunge Bra (5452)
    - has only 1 (!) hook to close at the back. It looks kinda cute though.
    - single layer cup / more sheer
    - lace on top is sheer but not stretchy
    - 3 part plunge bra construction
    - lower gore

The Plunge works ... better for me, because the gore is lower and does not hurt me. The cup shape is good, it give a bit a more natural shape compared to the very round shape of the side-support bra.
I am on the fence about the 1 hook construction. I don't have heavy boobs that need a ton of support but it feels a bit too lightweight still. Also the band is too loose for me and I already wear it on the tightest setting. I chose the sister size to my usual 34G because I wanted to have this macaroon / yellow colour way so bad and it was already sold out in most sizes. If I ever buy another one of these I would buy the 34G.
Apart from that I really like this bra, it's comfortable enough to wear all day and looks really pretty!

I like to have three hooks. I could not survive with only one hook.

    • BraOdyssey it's so annoying they do this closure on many of their plunges and on the regular bras 2 hooks up to G-cup.

This bra is so beautiful! The crochet style lace has a vintage appeal. Unfortunately for me, the plunge style means the upper cup band cuts across my upper boob, causing quadding.

this bra is a twin of the deco moulded plunge.

i really wanted to like this but the cup is way too tall for me and it hurts my armpits like nothing else. the gore is a bit wide and the cup too shallow for my boobs, which is a shame because the cup width is pretty good. it does give a nice cleavage so i wanted to keep it but the armpit chafing won out.

this bra would work better if you were shallow with a tall and narrow root.

i think i am too FOT and center full for this bra which is a shame because it is so, so pretty. the gore is too wide for me and the cups too narrow by about a quarter inch at this size, but i suspect if i went to 28f i would have more shape problems because i can't fill out the sides. the cup is too closed up top, cutting into the top of my boob, yet has wrinkles on the sides.

Cups are too big and too wide on the sides. If I go a cup size down the problem of my soft tissue still exists and I get this weird shape on the side where the strap pulls. I get cone shape too. I may try a 32DD just to compare. Although I think side support bras aren't best for center full gals.

Did you know there is a plunge version of this bra? https://www.bratabase.com/browse/freya/offbeat-plunge-bra-5452/ I tried both and like the plunge more. It's not a super low plunge and still works to contain center fullness.

    • 1

Thanks for the comment. I have seen that one and may try it. The offbeat padded half cup is one that fits me well but I chose not to go with it because the lace is lumpy under t-shirts and that is not gonna work for me haha. Will have to give the plunge version a try though!

    • Elladeer I just posted a review of the plunge bra compared to the side support. I tought it might be helpful for you. There are pros and cons for both bras.

    • Thanks for the info. I want to try it but do you know if the lace is smooth enough to wear under light stretchy shirts?

Very comfortable, and fits pretty well. I get cup overflow in one cup and gapping in the other one no matter how I adjust it (I don't know enough about bras yet to figure out the exact cause). Gives a slightly conical shape. I am not the biggest fan of the design unfortunately.

This bra is ridiculous. The difference in cup depth and projection between the 28DD and 28E is atrocious. The cup is extremely shallow in the lower cup causing a lot of quadboobing. It's a totally different bra than the 28E: I would expect some small changes, but the cup heights are also drastically different. The wires are appropriately narrow, but I can't do anything with the cups being so shallow and tiny. I know black color ways tend to be tighter, but I don't think that's the issue here: I think it's just poorly scaled at the lower cup sizes. Very frustrating.

Not loving the fabric on this bra or most Freya bras for that matter. Shape of the cups are not a good fit for me. Cups are too high and I gap near the strap area. Gore is flat and feels fine. Wires too high on the side for me.

The material feels so cheap. Even if it fit well I don't think I would keep it. The cut of the cups don't flatter me very well because they curve in at the top. I kind of feel like I need a size up but at the same time it feels too big. I just don't care for this one. The gore is slightly raised off my chest too

Underwires seem wide enough but just barely. I get a tiny amount of wrinkling along the underwire but it is hardly noticable, MUCH less than most other bras I have tried. I love this fit and it is actually comfortable enough that I look forward to putting it on! My only gripe is that the gore is a teeny bit too wide and sits on abut half a centimeter of breast tissue combined. I don't have time to worry about that but it does get a tiny bit itchy in the middle as a result. Still love it enough to wear it for a 12 hour shift at work!

This is the second Moulded Freya bra I have tried and I just don't like the stuff material they use. Band is uncomfortable, sides poke into armpit and just an overall bleh feeling.

This bra fits me the best out about 15 plus tried so far. Quality is OK. This one has a seam issues on the right cup so I would have to replace it. Also doesn't look good under basic tees since the lace is lumpy. If it weren't for the lumpy look under shirts I probably would have kept it.

Band feels true to size or a tad big as I am on the tightest hook but it's comfortable. Straps are soft and padding is nice. Runs too big for me in the cups. I am close set but I think this bra could work for me in a band/cup down and I alter the gore to overlap.

First time trying this brand and the cups run way smaller the Chantelle bras. Unless I got a dud bra. Gore lays flat and 32 band is great on the loosest hook. Def quad boob and spillage happening. Love the feel of the fabric. Will size up two cups.

Losing weight, changing shape and struggling to find a good fit.
This band should be ideal but it feels constricting. Also, the wires dig into my sternum because the cups are too deep. That's not an option to select when determining fit.
This bra's measurements have been altered
Slightly bent the wire to curve it.
