I WANT TO LOVE THIS BUT.. the wires are so, so wide and long! I couldn't wear it for more than a few minutes before the discomfort in my armpits was too much. From a side on view, they stretch over halfway to my back!

The cups were a great fit for me, no gapping or quadding. And I couldn't believe this wasn't more padded, or a push up, or something, with the way it lifted my bust UP. I swear it was halfway to the sky. Never seen anything like it.

As other have mentioned, the embroidery does show through so this is not a great t-shirt bra.

If I can figure out how to alter the wire I will keep this, because other than that, this was PERFECT.

As with most Freyas, the band is a bit large so if you are on the smaller side of your band size, or if you prefer a snugger feeling band, you may wish to size down here.

Unfortunately the cups were too tall for me (short roots), so the tops were nearly completely empty and wrinkly. There was even a tiny bit of extra room in the middle of the cups, so for me I probably could have gone down a cup size and maybe been okay, though I'm concerned that may have just resulted in spillage near the gore (a common problem of mine). Overall, the bra was not a great match for me.

This bra was recommended to me based on my measurements and shape, however ultimately I did return it. The gore runs rather high and being somewhat close set, this caused it to dig into my tissue and become uncomfortable very very quickly. Comfort wise, the lace was pretty soft and did not rub or feel irritating against my skin.

About me: Shallow, tall and narrow-average roots, even vertical fullness, close-set but so outer-full that you wouldn't guess it.

Tried this style on a whim after finding out it existed and that I can exploit Amazon's "good will" (hahaha) for it. I was encouraged by the fact that the high apex Expression came so close to working for me, but alas, it was not to be. The gore is a bit stabby (it's not objectively wide, just maybe a little wide by Freya 28D standards), and the cups are big overall. I really am a 28C in Freya, but that doesn't exist, outside of the wireless Deco that's something of a shape mismatch. Ah well. For the right customer, probably one who more regularly fits a 28D or non-molded 30C, this style would be really cute, comfortable, and functional.

The cups cut in and create a weird globe type shape so you have to have an abrupt end to your breast tissue on the top. It didn’t work terribly for my close set boobs, but the gore does not touch. It looks weird under shirts because it cuts in awkwardly. Also cuts into armpits with wire and end of cup. I ordered a size up and it fits relatively well. It is not very projected so it causes the wire to move down.

Definitely not my favorite bra. The band rides up constantly with movement unless I make it uncomfortably tight. The straps also CONSTANTLY fall off my shoulders but granted, I am petite, slender-shouldered, and short-waisted. The top of the cups also gap when I move around and the top of the center gore does not sit flat. I think I might have learned that I am not as full-on-bottom as I thought...

This bra is so close to perfect. The underwire is just the right shape, the band fits securely but not too tight, and the gore tacks comfortably. The whole rest of the cup seems to fit well but the angle at the top is just a smidge too open and gaps slightly on my smaller boob.

Just bought this bra to test the waters after the first time measuring myself properly. Wire fit perfectly and there was no gapping or overflow/quad-boob. Band was pretty firm and I anticipate it will stretch out in time. I am not used to such a firm underwire. Overall felt very structured but not uncomfortable at all until about 13 hours of wear, after which I was a bit fatigued with the firm underwire and ready to remove it. It left some red marks which disappeared in around an hour.

Ugh! I love the look and feel of this bra! And how it has some padding but not a lot! But it just doesn't fit. The tops of the cups are just empty and wrinkly despite fitting great everywhere else. I don't trust my sewing skills enough to attempt altering it. I'll try a cup size down and see if that helps at all.

Also, I wouldn't call this a punch. The gore is like 2" tall and the cups are very full coverage.

Good fit! Wish the gore didn't come up as high so it felt more plunge though. Pretty design and flattering fit. Texture of the lace is sometimes visible through thinner shirts.
The top of the band under the arms folds weird, but this also doesn't bother me and might actually give me more movement so maybe it's intentional?
Haven't worn this bra a lot yet so time will tell.

I ordered a band size down and cup size up on recommendation. I also ordered my normal size, 34FF. Both fit poorly, but the 32G at least fit better? The straps were set way too far apart and were really firm. I would've tried to wear this with an extender in the back if the straps were so uncomfortably wide on me. The tops gapped at the top if I wasn't standing up straight and had an odd top shape. The search for a lightly padded bra continues!

High set (therefore short), very round, self supporting, full, projected oval shape. Oh yeah. Gigantic shoulders, so straps are almost never long enough despite boobs starting nearly level from armpits.
Marvel is extra ULTRA Super duper shallow, tall and wide- looks like a closer match for those who are full on top. For those who are looking to avoid a pointy look, this bra's got ... ya! It's totally devoid of even remote possibility any/all curves. For the cup width, this is the widest inthis size range I've seen yet- at least 6.5 across from wirearm to wire arm. The height relatively short at a mere 7" here, which should make this style a lovely deep bowl to settle into.

However none of that matters because you only get a square binder that shoves breasts into the armpit and chest wall. Real talk.

Ultimately Marvel is an oversized yet flattening cup that has very little room to speak of, this reminds me a bit of overbust corsets or hyper-cleavage inducing CK Showgirls & Masquerade halfcups. There is no 'there', there when you peer into the abyss of it's inner workings. The very opposite of an Ewa CHP.
Presumably it's design was meant to push everything on the outer half of breast inward toward the gore, forcing the breasts to become narrowed upward vertically. Realistically, Marvel crawls down your chest into the ribs or belly button unless you can hike up the straps to maximum capacity, crushing the tail of spence and all tissue ends up forced into the armscye, because Marvel pushes one's breasts backward into the chest where they want to escape out the sides of the cup,where it's already assumed as much about the boob escape plans and is just extra wide to prevent that- only the pattern is a little fuller in the upper half so you get an empty zone on the bottom outer and a big ole lump pushing up at the shoulder.
One isn't warned to order a few sizes up to avoid a disaster- we're just left to learn the hard way.
Those with soft tissue that is prone to puddling & sinking, will feel very contained and held up. Those of us with literal gristle for boobs can grit our teeth at this travesty and size up a few times or move on.

On my functionally FOB deep shape this bra is all but impossible to pull up into the IMF as-is. Will overlap gore, and see if that helps with the lack of room.


So! Post alterations: narrowed the gore about 2/3", picked out the underwire channel on the right side and carefully sewed it directly over the left underwire channel along gore. Much improved over the 1" width it was prior.
This gave Marvel a little bit more depth in the lower cup mainly at the center, so pressure eased off my inner breasts and how hard it was pushing downward.
However, the fit is still totally crazy, crushing my entire outer half of breasts by shoving my outer volume super high up, and creative a massive shallow bulge as seen in the side profile. The cups do not push up anything at the center or inner cup, really curious what breast features benefit by this strange design theory (marvel wastes half it's cup depth on a very flat bottom & outer with extra wide wires, but doesn't give a boob anywhere to be?)

According to this size, Marvels' depth and height measurements should have been perfect on me but it's proportions are still completely off. Marvel still feels like a flattening sports bra or a minimizer, definitely not a push up or enhancing my high set, very rounded shape in any way.
When I turn it upside down and hold over my bare breast, it's almost a shape that should sit well with mine. FML.

This was the first strapless that fit and didn't fall down all night. Most importantly for me, the cups were not so high that they popped out of the top of my dress. It does feel a bit tight, but I think that's unavoidable with a strapless and it didn't bother me.

Great T-Shirt bra - it's very comfortable and doesn't show through any of my clothes. My size is probably 28E, so this does have slight gaps at the top for me, but they're not visible when I'm wearing a shirt. Runs true to size in the band, a size larger in the cups.

Not a good technical fit, but I really like the style and find the bra comfortable for casual/work wear. On me, I can get a passable fit when I'm not in the larger part of my cycle if I loosen the shoulder straps--it's a delicate balance between tightening the straps & having severe quadboob, or loosening & losing support (creating even more empty space at the bottom of the cup). Still, it's a way better fit (larger and/or less shallow cups?) than the 28G - Freya » Expression High Apex (5494) that I had tried.

I don't find the wires wide at all, but if I'd been able to size up to get proper cup depth then they might be too wide and the cups too full-coverage for my tastes. Definitely closed on top so won't work for full-on-top boobs.
