The band is firm, supportive, and fits "true to size" unlike some other Freya bras. The lace detailing is perfectly symmetrical across the two cups, which is a good sign. The cup are cut a little low for the amount of fullness I have, but I'm not sure if sizing up in the cup would help. I don't quad out of the top unless I pull my shoulders all the way back. The shape isn't the best for me and it consistently gaps a bit under the arms. My straps tend to slip, and this bra is no exception. Fortunately, a cheap strap clip to bring them together solves the gapping and slipping issues. Poseidon is a lovely deep blue, and the black straps are understated when they peek out from a neckline. For full price, it might not compare favorably to more expensive brands that cost just a little more, but if you can get it for <$30 it's totally worth it.
The band stays very firm, unlike what I've been told about Freya bras. The stretch in the cups is pretty forgiving. If you're small and projected this will likely be a good fit.
Uncomfortable fabric even after several washes. Top doesn't fill out completely and gives a somewhat pointy look. The band fits well though, and is true to size.
Super cute and comfy! Think the cup size is too big. Still getting the hang of this whole thing. Everything fits great except for the top. Even comfy with the lack of fit!
Cute. Nice construction, not a huge fan of the feel of the fabric, the upper lace area in other bras is typically stretchy to allow small fluctuations in size but the lace on this part was not stretchy. Really liked the hook area it felt really sturdy. Definitely not my shape I had a lot of room at the bottom and top of the bra.
This bra was a bit too projected for me in the 28E, so I think I'll try it in the 28DD. Wires run narrower than other Freyas I've reviewed, so it's closer to fitting than others. It's very pretty and soft as well.
I liked this bra at first, but not so much right now. I've owned it for about a year and it's always felt slightly too tight in the band for me, but because I got it free (got lost in the mail and the company let me keep it when it finally arrived), I figured I'd just get an extender and make it work. It is more comfortable with the extender--even just using one extra row of hooks helped a lot. The cups quad very slightly, but I'd tried the 28GG previously and the cups were much too big, so I stuck with the G since it's not ...really noticeable to anyone but me anyway. It's pretty comfortable, especially given that I deal with a little bit of rib cage flare and haven't worn longline bras before. I also liked that it gave me a slightly more rounded shape--I'm not a huge fan of pointy or natural shape for my boobs. It works pretty well under shirts and the lace isn't super noticeable. My only complaint, really, is that the past few times I've put it on, I've noticed that for some reason it makes my boobs look...long, and downturned. I have no idea how else to describe this. Maybe it's a shape mismatch or the apex is too low for me or something, because the cup itself is filled in all the right places, and my boobs aren't squished, it's just the bra makes them look like they are. It's the weirdest thing. In any case, because of that, I don't really wear it much anymore, but would still recommend it if it's the right shape for you. Read more 171 more words
This cup is just too big, nothing else I can say about it. 28DD is next next on the list to try. I really like the smugness of the band, it's tight but comfortable. It'll stretch out well.
Very slight wrinkling across the apex from the nipple to the center of the underwire. Not a terrible fit! I feel like if I went down a cup size it would be too small, so maybe a 28DD or 28E would be better. Again, underwire is too wide, but it's a lot closer.
This bra seems to be the wrong shape and I’m lost with size. I’ve worn US 32DDD and it’s comfortably snug but way too small in cup. 34 gets too stretched too quickly for me, and most bras tend to squash my shape and this one just kind of sits there and is too high on top as well as sitd too low on my frame
This review is almost identical to my review for the 34E Freya Offbeat Moulded Demi! I ordered this size (34E) prior to more accurately measuring myself with the ABTF calculator, resulting in the sizes 30G. I sister size to 32F/FF for comfort, but wore the 34E until new bras came in. I have very firm, projected breasts because they're augmented. This bra provided a nice round shape under clothing, and generally seemed to support well. Unfortunately because the band was too loose and immediately riding up in the back, I didn't realize the cups did not have enough projection or depth. The gore didn't tack, which I could excuse if it was just the one fit issue, but also had the gaping underneath the armpits, although not as much as other molded bras I've tried on. Overall not the right bra for me, but a good candidate for someone projected looking for a molded bra in this size.
This bra is not quite projected enough for my projected breasts that have need a ton of immediate projection, which is a shame because otherwise I really like the bra. The cups are rather wide with some minor gaping underneath the armpits, but I know some gaping is not uncommon with moulded bras. Because there wasn't enough projection but my breast tissue is also very firm (augmented) the wire sat ~1 cm below my IMF but there was also some "empty space" at the inner-bottom of the cup, towards my sternum. Overall a good bra, just not a good shape match for me.
I ordered this size (34E) prior to more accurately measuring myself with the ABTF calculator, resulting in the sizes 30G. I sister size to 32F/FF for comfort, but wore the 34E until new bras came in. I have very firm, projected breasts because they're augmented, and this bra was great for giving a nice round shape, and did not show under thin t-shirts. Unfortunately because the band was too lose and immediately riding up in the back, I didn't realize the cups did not have enough projection or depth. They are however, somewhat wide and extended well into the side of my rib cage (I'm not particular petite either). Another fit issue was the gaping underneath the armpits, which doesn't show under clothes but I knew and it bothered me. I realize this is more common with molded bras, but with all the other issues, this was not the right bra for me.
This bra is a beautiful dark blue color. It was comfortable to wear for the ~30 minutes I had to try on and take pictures, but can't speak to longer stints. My ABTF size is 30G, which I am experimenting sister sizing to 32FF for comfort, but also got several 32F sizes to try, this being one of them. I do think the cups might be almost imperceptibly too small, which is causing the fabric on the top edge of the cups to roll down slightly from being taught, make it the edge slightly more visible under t-shirts. I also have this same model in a 34E due to previously ordering the wrong size, but despite being the wrong cup and band size, the fabric on it doesn't have the rolling effect. I believe this bra would be a good molded model for someone with firmer, average to moderately more-than-average projected breasts.
I was really hoping this bra would work but it is almost one of the worst bras I've tried for my shape. Hoping the 30F is better, but I think the overall shape is wrong. Mostly the apex is far too high for my short roots. And I wish the straps were a tiny bit closer together. The wires almost perfectly surrounded my tissue. The gore lies flat (though that's never really a problem for me since my boobs are far apart). I only rated the appearance as "okay" because I think it's rather matronly looking. Though it would work as a neutral t shirt bra. Overall the comfort was okay to good. It didn't dig in or poke anywhere. I did have to keep scooping and swooping on my smaller boob side to prevent my tissue from bulging in my armpit. Which is again, a fit issue not an issue with the bra overall. I have this is a 30F that I'm going to try as well, but I'm not holding my breath it will work.
This is my best fitting bra. Offers a lot of projection. The wires are slightly too wide, but are not uncomfortable nor do they dig in. This bra offers me a really nice round shape and lots of lift. My only complaint about it is that you can see the polka dots through light colored shirts and the seams through most shirts. I’m still keeping it because of how well it fits me.
I'm disappointed in this bra. It's a very strange one! The band is way more stretchy than I'd imagined - it's looser brand new than the Pour Moi Madison I've owned for 2 years. The cups are in two separate layers, i.e, I could put something between the outer, zig-zaggy layer and the inner, mesh layer. And both of the materials are very very thin and flimsy. I can barely feel any support. The cups are projected enough and the shape fits my soft saggy tissue well enough - plus the whole "barely there" vibe makes for a comfortable feel, easy to forget I'm wearing it. But I'd like a brand new bra to feel sturdier, shape my boobs more, in general... more like "if I'm buying a button-up shirt with a collar, I don't expect pyjamas level of comfort."
