I considered trying to go down a cup size to get this one to fit so I could have a molded T-shirt bra, but I didn't have a lot of confidence a cup size down would really get me a great fit. The rosewater color had a lot of melon/salmon undertone that I didn't really care for. Returned.
Bought what's been my typical size. I just don't think I can pull off a molded bra anymore at my current size. It just fit all wrong. Tons of space around my breasts but I still felt squashed. Shape was not good in a shirt. Returned. Lovely shade of pink in the petal color.
I really liked this bra but ordered it in a wrong size. I liked it so well I'm going to try it in a better size for me - down 2 cups and sister size to a 32
I love this bra. The center gore doesn't dig in, or sit up too high, despite my very close together breasts. The outer wire is a touch too short, but the material still holds me in place and without any spillage. the light elastic at the top allows the cup to lay correctly on both breasts despite the difference in shape
My information: UK 28E calculator size (27" underbust, 32.5" standing/34" leaning/33" lying bust), projected, tall roots, FOB, splayed roots, close-set
I tried the Fancies Plunge in both UK 28DD and 28E. I tried this style out because I heard it was good for FOB and projected shapes. According to HerRoom, this does also run large, so they recommend sizing down if you're between sizes.
With the 28DD, the underwire would slide down below my IMF because the cup didn't have enough depth for my projection. However, despite the cup being too shallow and small, I did have slight empty space in the top part of the cup; this is a common problem for me, which I think is just a result of my bottom fullness and splayed roots.
I'm returning this because the 28E fits better, but generally speaking, I enjoy this style!
It shapes my boobs into pointy rockets. The mesh is somewhat scratchy, I much prefer the fabric used in Cleo Lucy. I altered the band as it was ridiculously loose.
Gorgeous bra. Very comfortable. A little tricky to get on with it's 5 fasteners, but once it's on, it's comfortable. I have slight quad boob on my left breast when I move my arms forward - I don't know if I'm just having a big boob day today as measurements tend to fluctuate throughout the month, but I still consider this bra wearable - If I moved up a cup, I think it would be too small on the right? And/or I would have to pad on the right. My breast tissue is fairly soft, so it fills up the entire cup, but I would like to try ...more of a "side support" type bra, and/or I'm looking forward to trying Polish bras, that gives one more "forward projection." I think the shape is flattering with a low-cut t-shirt though.
The gore is pretty high - I'm not sure if at the end of the day, it might bother me. Strangely the band feels perfect, I would say...even though I could only stretch it to 28 inches when I measured it (am I a weakling?), it fits around my back fine, and yesterday I measured myself at 29" lol, go figure...
Overall, I mean, the bra is pretty. The fit is good: as far as cup, today I might be in between (like I said, maybe I'm having a "big boob" day today) FF and G, but I went up to G, I imagine it would be too small on my right breast. It seems to fit both sides okay though.
I think the bra is a keeper. The gore is a little high. Ideally I would prefer a gore to be lower, it seems like it's a little digging into my sternum more than I like, but I consider the band to be comfortable. Read more 196 more words
My info: calculated UK 28E (27" snug underbust, 32.5"/34.5"/33" bust), FOB, projected, close set, tall roots
Other than the wires being a little too wide (a problem I always have) and the gore being too wide (also a problem I always have), this fits my shape pretty dang well. I would suggest this for others that are also FOB and projected. The gore is surprisingly comfortable for being so tall. The nipple coverage is decent; you don't really see nips or the lace under clothing, but you do see the diagonal seam.
However, I honestly just find this to not be very pretty at all. I'm not sure what it is -- the fairly full coverage nature of the cups? The particular pattern of the lace? -- but it just seems quite "matronly" to me, which is very much so not what I want at my age.
I ordered this one in the wrong size (usually need 28F). Since it is small in the cup and a molded bra (I'm very projected which tends to not mix with molded styles), there is some light compression and gentle quadding going on at the top and sides, but it's not actually unwearable or acutely painful. It does produce a more minimized or shallow shape for me, and I can imagine that it would be uncomfortable to wear for hours. The gore tacks.
Overall, it's not a perfect fit, but that is to be expected since it is not my real size. I like the material and the cups are very comfortably smooth to touch.
I bought this because I love a longline bra. I have the non-longline Fancies in a 30F and the band fits right, initially I bought this one in a 30F assuming the fit would be similar. However, this model bra only has 2 hooks instead of the usual 3 and the 30F felt far too tight. It looks like most Freya longlines are like this but I can't work out why. It gave me pretty bad back fat rolls which were obvious under clothes. My husband even agreed with me it didn't look good and he's usually pretty blind to things like that!
As I really liked the ...way it looked, I decided to sister-size to a 32E but having worn this a few times, I can tell that the band is a little loose. The wires in this bra are too wide for me, this can be seen on the photo. I have also tried 32DD and 30E and the cup didn't have enough depth for me in either of those sizes. The wires also come up too high at the front and dig into my breast tissue. It's painful and I struggle to wear this for a whole day. In hindsight, I should have returned this. It's a beautiful looking bra with a nice pattern and soft cups with smooth fabric. It's specifically designed to provide side support, which I thought I could use. But honestly, this size was wishful thinking to start with. It's clealry too wide in the band for me. In addition, I can't quite filled out the cups on the inside, towards to gore, so there's a bunch of vertical wrinkles. Nice bra, not for me.
First things first: this is a molded, full cup bra with a delighfully soft texture on the cups, the straps and the hook attachment. This was a Bratabase recommendation and I wanted this to fit so badly, but it's all wrong. I don't quite understand it, because technically I should be able to fill the cups but I don't! The cups are not quite gaping but definitely empty at the top. They seem too high? The bottom wire is too wide for me and there is a whole lot of emptiness on the bottom of the cup. The bra also just looks wrong on me, it's way too big. A pitty. Maybe if they made this one in a half cup I would try one a cup size smaller.
Hot damn, this bra is comfortable. As the model name suggests, it's a padded half cup bra. The cup is divided into 4 segments. The straps are wide and they have this soft, stretchy padding underneath - I've never before experienced such bliss. The band is rather stretchy, which to me feels comfortable. The cups are pretty good on me, though I cannot deny that I'm quadding a bit, especially noticable if I breathe in. The shape of the cups however is not ideal for my breasts, it artificially spreads them and makes them point more sideways than they naturally do. Also, I think either the wire is not long enough, the cups or not wide enough or the wing is not high enough - there is side/armpit boob tissue escaping where the straps meet the cups.
This is a beautiful bra! This was not comfortable for me. It gave me quadding on top. I felt like it was poking under my arms but yet I also felt like I had tissue spilling out. The gore felt too high and pushed against one of my breasts and kind of twists to the side because of my close set breasts.
So close, but no cigar, sadly. This bra has an unusual but in my opinion very attractive design. I particularly like the high-rise outer edge of the cup that encapsulates my armpit breast tissue. The straps are placed too far apart for my sloped shoulders but that could be altered. The fabric of the band nor the cup are very stretchy, which in my case means that the band is uncomfortably tight. The cups are also too small, there is significant quadding going on. I could see how this design technically could fit me quite well, so I'm going to try a bigger band and a bigger cup.
In contrast to my moulded Freya bras, this unmoulded bra simply didn't work at all for me, due to the quadboob effect where the material cut diagonal lines across my chest! I wanted a bra that would not be so noticeable under clothes, so I thought the relatively thin material and the beige colour would be good for that. It was a light beige colour and thin as I'd hoped.. But due to that awful cutting in, it looked silly. It felt more like a sling than a bra, it was two pieces of material being pulled down by the breasts, not able to lift anything up! The lack of support ...is a real let down literally, I have wireless lace bralettes that give me much better lift than this bra, and this bra has underwire! There were no comfort problems with the underwire as such and the cups were filled at the bottom. The band was not too loose. But the high apex part was really not suitable. I can't think of any way I could work with it - Getting a smaller cup size would be even worse, but one cup size bigger and I wouldn't fill it properly! Read more 89 more words
This is definitely a more full on top with tall root type of bra, I got it in a 28FF and had issues with gaping and wrinkling on the upper half of the cup. It is really cute though and the fabric is a little scratchy.
