This bra is fairly structured. I've been wearing it for about 2 weeks and it has softened. At first the cup edge near my armpit was very stiff and caused some discomfort on my skin, but it has softened a bit (or my skin got used to it!). It is now mostly comfortable, no poking. I do not like to wear bras with lace as they itch, but this bra is not itchy at all (no lace). The gore is a tiny bit wide for me, but it is not a problem. My left breast is larger and the bra is sized to fit that breast, the other breast does not feel uncomfortable in a slightly larger cup.
As for looks, I like the satin stripes on the cups and the cute bows.
I got it a cup size smaller than I should have (because it's second hand and this is what was available), so I have some quadboobing in my bigger breast, although it fits the other one fine. I usually wear a 32 band, but this one is very stretchy, and doesn't even feel as tight as some 32 bras I own. I would probably size down in the band if I bought it new too, knowing how much it stretches.
This was my first half cup after struggling with full cup bras. I wish these were still available as I would own one in every colour. Gave me a great "cakes on a plate" look without feeling like I was going to fall out. I could wear it for 9+ hours without issue.
When I initially purchased this bra a year or so ago I was a 36FF/G and this bra was still too small for me. The cup gave me major quad boob and the band ran small.
Gore too high for me and the cups felt too big- didn't mold and felt like I was floating in the cups. Not enough bottom projection. Band too tight. Love the .75 straps, they felt great. High quality bra and felt robust though.
Love this one, definitely one of my favorites. The colors are vivid and lovely. The fit is one of my best right now. Fit seems true to size, band a little stretchy maybe, but now so drastic.
Feels larger in the cups than I'm used to for Freya, maybe due to the fabric having no give. The fabric in general is my main problem with this bra, it's kind of scratchy and cheap feeling.
This bra is well made but is just not right for my shape. It's too tall for me in the cup and the wires. If you have tall roots or are very fot or projected then this bra may work for you!
This bra appears on the list of narrow, projected bras in 30F. In my experience, this is not the case. This bra was far too wide and was quite shallow. I am not sure if this bra is an outlier, or if older models featured narrower wires. But, if you are looking for a narrow, projected half cup you may want to order this on Amazon so you can return it.
I needed a strapless bra, so I tried Amazon wardrobe with this, the Panache, and the Curvy Kate. This was really difficult to put on, folds over itself at the bottom, is too wide, but it looks best under the dress I'm wearing it with, so I guess I'm keeping it.
The bright side is that it stays up really well, and it's not actually uncomfortable despite taking a lot of effort to put on.
UPDATE: It is incredibly painful to wear for extended periods of time if it starts slipping down. I unfortunately didn't realize it had started to fall down my ribcage during a night out, and I woke up the next morning with welts where my bra had been the night before. I've worn it since without any problem, but the no-slip strips on the band can get really pinch-y if you're not careful.
This was on the list for recommendations, but I am just too low-set for this to work. I am moderately FoT, but functionally FoB, and this Deco is just the wrong shape for me. :{ Straps are far apart and cut in near the armpits. Width of the wire is fine, but the cups quad in the center and gape everywhere else. Gore is low enough that it doesn't get in the way. Band is 'true to size' snug.
I think this fits quite well. Much better than most bras I try. Although I think i will try the 28ff next as it could be a bit tighter, although it doesnt´seem as loose as i remember freya bras being.
I bought this thinking it was a new freya nonpadded style/shape but when it arrived I realised it is one of their padded half cup styles. I was really looking for a non padded lace black bra so this isn´t quite what i was after even though the fit is ok.
I like this bra, in that it's versatile and not too expensive (compared to other strapless bras I have bought). But the cups do gape at the top a bit unless I wear the straps with it...
So this bra fits, but technically doesn't quite fit...the bra does cut in along the top of my breast tissue on my larger side. But if I went up a cup size, my smaller side would be swimming in it. I did have it in a larger size but then I started running again and my whole shape started changing. I'm keeping it, just because its so close to fitting and it's so versatile.
12/2018 Although I have had this bra for years, I'm not sure that I've actually worn it. It is probably a cup size too small but there's no quadraboob. It seems to push the boobs in and to the sides, probably as a consequence of the wide wires and shallow cups; the inner slings don't seem to provide any lift on me. I imagine that the weight of my boobs would push the bottom band down throughout the day - but maybe not because the band is tiiiiight. It is very smooth, and the beige is a suitable nude for my skintone. It has removable straps that can be affixed in a variety of positions. Anyway, it fits well enough to serve it's intended purpose, assuming that the need arises before it disintegrates in the back of the drawer.
Wire is way too wide but soft enough to follow the curve of your ribs. Lace on the top is very forgiving but there is a band running though it (to reenforce it?) that will cut into breast tissue if you’re even a little too large
