For reference. I am usually a 30JJ or 32J, depending on the stretchiness of the band. I am center full and slightly full on bottom. My root is short and slightly narrow. I need a lot of immediate projection. My tissue is fairly soft, and my shoulders a little narrow. My main fit issues tend to be not enough immediate projection and too high cups and gores. I've yet to find my ideal bra, but I think it would be a cross between a balcony and a plunge (almost a balcony, but with a gore height that is somewhere between the two, and a little narrower straps)
This bra ...runs extremely large. The 30 band on this bra passed the backwards band test, but on the looser side. The cups were about a size, maybe two, too big (Because the cup was rather high, maybe 2 cups on my short rooted, full on bottom breasts, but maybe only 1 size if you tend to fill the top of a cup better than I do.) The cup width was nice. Slightly wider than I need, but narrower than many bras and not so wide that it would have been uncomfortable. It was hard to determine if there was enough immediate projection with the overall size issues, but I think in the right size it would be an "almost enough and passable, but not quite" situation. The gore was higher than I need. I couldn't tell if it was so high as to be uncomfortable, though, in this size. The straps were placed very wide. Although my shoulders are somewhat narrow, this is very rarely an issue that causes a problem for me, other than cutting in a little at my tail of spence. On this bra though, the straps were set so far out, that they were hitting right past where my shoulders end if completely vertical. I am not going to try a different size at this time, because although it would fit many of the fit issues, I think the straps would still be an issue for me.
The quality overall looks pretty good. The only area that looks a little cheap is the stretchy part of the band. It seems like the type of fabric that would start to run quickly. The straps are nice, with some stretch, but still very firm. They feel like they would be very comfortable.
Appearance...meh. I'm going to be a harsh critic on this, but I've yet to see any bra at my size that I don't find old-fashioned and matronly. This is no exception. Not the worst that I've seen, but I'd hate to show it to anyone. It didn't look bad in the pictures of smaller sizes when I bought it, but at this size it's not cute. The pattern and edging on the lace was kinda cute. The pattern on the cups looked a little like a grandma's curtains from the 70s. Read more 382 more words
This bra is made for projection everywhere, it seems. I've got pretty even vertical fullness, and I filled out the bottom, but it was just slightly loose on the top cups. The issue I had with this one was scratchiness. It was scratchy on top of the shoulders, under the band where the material curled kept wanting to curl under, and especially near the armpits, where the material bunched up. The mesh of the cups was not the softest, either, and the material was sheer. Maybe because the cups were so large, it didn't lift me up much and let me fall out to the sides more than I like. I could try down a cup size, but I probably will just send it back.
This is so far the best fitting of my new sized bras 38FF since discovering abrathatfits Pros:Cute color, good projection for my FOB shape, I like that it isn't moulded, love the stretchiness of the band Cons: a little bit wrinkly at the end of the day but ok for 2 hours after S&S. So far as with all bras, my splayed shape means the wires don't widen fast enough for it to reach my IMF in the center so that's the main thing on my wish list. At least it's comfortable?
This bra wasn’t quite right for me, I do love the stretch lace, the color and the fun gate back. But I had quadding. I have relatively high and soft tissue and almost all the cups with an elastic line end up with this cutting in on me.
I like this bra a lot as it's the first bra I have that properly fits me. But it's still not perfect for my needs. The cups aren't as full coverage as I'd like and feel just over a half cup. I love the straps because you can adjust the tightness all the way up to the cup, it's really cool. In addition, I like the hook in the back to make the bra a racer strap. However, the straps are a bit far apart and it it digs in a bit right where the strap meets the cup; it will feel itchy at times. Other than that, I find it to be a well fitting bra.
I bought this for find substitute of EM CHP and Cleo Mimi. Sadly, this didn't. Like too wide cup separation, quadding, and too stretchy band, this have many issues for me. But I think this works well for people that need open top ones.
This bra "technically" fits well but it doesn't do me any favors. The cups don't offer enough support for my breasts, which gives me more of a conical instead of spherical shape. The bra also doesn't have much give to it, which makes it a little uncomfortable.
This is one of my better fitting bras. I have high projection and it allows my breasts to sit out in front of me instead of being smooshed. Very pretty. Not super supportive but OK. I don't love the feeling of the lace but I'm not a lacey bra types of person. Overall seems to be pretty nice and high quality. pretty color too, which can be hard to find with a 32FF bra size.
This is the first bra in years that actually fits me. My left breast is somewhere between a UK FF and G (Depending on bra brand), and my right breast is somewhere between a UK D and E. My band size used to be 30, but I’ve dropped to a 28.
The 28F (UK) version of this bra kinda squished my bigger breast, and some of the breast tissue on that side was trying to escape near my armpit (even after the swoop and scoop). Also, my bigger breast has a fair amount of tissue on the side, so the underwire there poked it a bit.
The 28G ...(UK) version of this bra had cups so tall that they dug into my armpits. Plus, the cups were way too big. A noticeable amount of empty space even on the side of my bigger breast. It might also not help that I’m only 5 feet, 2.25 inches tall.
It appears that the 28FF version of this bra is just right. All of my breasts are contained. And the cups are rigid enough to hide my asymmetry under a shirt. The band is snug but not painful. The underwires are leaving me alone. I do recommend washing the bra at least once to soften it up a little because it may feel stiff to you at first. Read more 117 more words
This is a standard Freya fit for me and responded well to tried and true alterations of the cup - padded cup insert and darting the fabric to fit my 28C's into the 28D cup and shorten the height for my petite frame. This is the only bra I wash in the machine and it has tolerated it well. Given a couple of years it has stretched a bit and I am now on the 2nd or 3rd hook and it aches a bit at the end of a long day. Still good quality for the price point.
Super bright design! It looks really nice! 3-parts lightly padded cups with vertical seams, rather open on top. It gives very round and uplifted shape, but the seams are very visible under clothes. Very comfortable, fully adjustable wide straps. True to size. I can't say it really fits. It's rather good for my smaller days, but for the fuller ones it's really too small. The part with hooks and eyes is scratchy for my skin
My shape: close set, center full, full on bottom, average/narrow width roots, tall shallow roots, soft tissue.
Just didn't fit me very well, which is unfortunate, since I really liked the way it looked for an everyday bra. The cups are too separate for me and the gore is too high. The wires are somewhat wide on the sides, resulting in having empty cups. The top cuts in slightly on my breasts and I feel like the bra is also probably somewhat shallow and is pushing everything in.

I was first attracted to this bra because of its gray/white print and because it was part of Amazon wardrobe. It was also a Freya model I hadn’t tried and I guess I was curious that maybe this one would do the trick.
The cups on this Freya bra fit surprisingly well on me, no wrinkling anywhere (!!), and the top is pretty open with stretchy mesh which is nice. The only part that doesn’t fit is the gore, it’s too far apart and sit on breast tissue on me. I’m so sad that all the bras that I try have this problem.
The straps are kinda far apart and they don’t fully adjust which might be a problem for some. Also the band is pretty loose, I can put it on the tightest hook right away and it doesn’t feel fully snug. I would definitely size down in the band!

Beautiful bra, love the way it looks, not the way it fit me. This bra is best for full on bottom breasts. I have full on bottom breasts, but tall shallow roots and soft tissue, so this cuts in at the top. It makes my breasts look pointy and kinda droopy, no lift, which I don't like (I prefer a round shape). I like the low gore and the look of the band in the band.
The band is too flimsy to put in loosest hook, fits better for me in the second loosest hook. I can fill the cups, but on the sides my breast tissue escapes a little bit. Overall, not a good fit for me unfortunately.
First of all, I got the wrong size. The back hook feels great, the straps are comfortable, the cup is nice and smooth (great for a tshirt bra). I generally don't like lined bras anymore since I stopped wearing VS bras. This bra definitely has more of a lift and shove together feel, probably mostly because the cup is the wrong size for me. I'll have to try a closer fit to my size (34H). If you like a lower cut shirt, this bra is definitely worth a try, especially if convertible straps are enticing as well. (Narrow shoulders, I'm talking to you)
I was pleasantly surprised when I tried this bra on. My biggest issue with most bras is wide wires and wide set straps that cause chafing to my tail of spence, but the Freya Fancies Half Cup sat very comfortably! The wires WERE at least an inch too wide for me but didn't cause any issues. I am very projected and found there to be enough space at the bottom of the cup, no folding going on. The gore sits flat until the very top where there is a small gap, but I suspect that I wouldn't be able to fill the cup if I went up a size. There is the slightest amount of overflow at the top when I swoop and scoop but as my breasts settle into the cup it disappears and I'm left with a smooth transition.
What is up with these Freya bands? They all seem to run pretty loose on me compared to all the Cleos I've tried! I can already put this on the tightest hooks and it feels nice, maybe a tiny bit loose. I love this bra, its fits well in the cups. They come up pretty high, but they're still okay. The fabric is really pretty, but it will show under clingy tops/shirts. It's not really padded, but it does have a thicker "foam" lining (see my pics of the inside cups). The gore is low which is very nice and the cup separation is not bad for the ...height. There is some empty space on the sides of the cups, but it's not very annoying, I guess it does make my breasts loose a bit of oomph factor, but it's not bothersome. Overall, it's probably one the best fitting bras I've tried.
Tempted to keep this, but I'm afraid this will stretch out too much in the 32 band for me. I'm going to try and find this in a 30F and update this review to see if it changes the fit of the cups. Read more 86 more words
