This bra was my first venture into the proper fit world. I fell in love with the cute print and colors. For the first week it was poking me in the gore, but that hasn't been a problem as I've continued wearing it either from stretching or just getting used to the proper snug fit. As some of the other reviews have noted, this bra does give kind of an odd shape but it wasn't bad enough to bother me.
I want to like this bra a lot because it's the only non-molded cup that gives me a good fit. If you are shallow, wide and tall rooted, the top of the cups are great!
I don't like the material that it's made of much, it is not very soft and a little scratchy.
The basics: A moulded plunge bra, with a trimmed in seam along the edge of the cup. A delicate grey heather with feminine white lace. Typical stretchy Freya band. Plus it comes with a J-hook to turn into a racerback bra whenever I want it.
This was my very first wellfitting bra. Oh Deco Delight how I loved thee! You fit my boobs and gave me cleavage and never gaped like your original Deco sibling.
As time goes on however, I've learned that you just how you and I make it work despite being so wrong for each other. You're supposed to be shallow and wide, while I ...need projection, and lots of it, immediately. Plus in every other bra I wear a 30F/FF, yet you're a 30E. How does that work? I've learned that my boobs push out the cups at the bottom. In my normal size, this causes serious gaping at the top. So if I size down, the gaping disappears. Its not an ideal fit (now that I know what to look for, its obviously small). There's a lot of cleavage, which is now what this bra is used for since I have other better fitting bras. But I'll keep it for the date nights https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" /> Read more 107 more words
The color scheme is horrendous and the fabric and lace seems cheap. Big is true to size or slightly large (wearing on middle clasp) and cups are slightly large.
True to band and cup size. The cup separation is slightly too wide for me, but it folds to mostly meet the boob contours so there is only minor gore gaping. The quality doesn't seem the highest, and the color scheme is weird, but I'd say it mostly fits.
This bra's a bit of an odd one for me. I swear when I tried it on in the store it fit (with a bit of wrinkling) but the shape & size of the cup is just so wrong for me it's unwearable. My boobs must have changed shape.
This fabric is soft and comfy. The lining of the cups is just thick enough to cover the nipples but doesn't add any size.
This bra gives me an uplifted yet rounded shape, I don't feel compressed the way some rounder bras make me feel. I like this bra's vertical seams. I'm splayed, so it helps keep my boobs pointed to the center. The seams are prominent and show through a thin t-shirt.
I think I am slightly too FOB for this bra. There's a little bit of gaping at the top, but not enough for me to size down or get rid of it. I think this effect is made worse by the fact that the straps are very far back, almost in my armpits. If they were a bit closer to the center, I feel like the fit would be better.
I swapped a bra for the Patsy in a 30E and while I can make it work I think I would prefer it in a 28F. The band for Patsy runs large even for Freya it stretches to nearly 33in. The band doesn't exactly ride up, but it is definitely too loose on the loosest hook, it fits much better on the tightest and when I wear it at the tightest hook, it also solves the bit of gaping I get when I have it on the loosest. While I can make this bra work, I would ideally like to try it in a 28F so I can get more life out of it.
I ordered this off Amazon, and I wasn't sure about an orange bra, but this is gorgeous. The cups are definitely half cups though, not a lot of coverage. I felt like I should be getting quad boob, but the cups don't lay flat so they actually have some gape. The bra definitely isn't too big in the cups though. I'm thinking I would prefer it in a 28 band, and I'm guessing I should try a 28FF? Any thoughts? I didn't get a chance to measure the bra since I wanted to ship it back ASAP.
Update I did try the 28FF and it was too wide. I would try the 28F, but I don't think that lace is going to lay flat regardless of the size. From the few reviews I've looked at on here no one else has mentioned the lace not laying flat, but maybe it does after a few wears.
This bra band is tighter than my 30DD - Freya ยป Ooh La La Plunge Balcony Bra (1481) in black/henna. Seems TTS to me and fits even though the wires are wider than my IMF, so some wire bending will come I think. Given that I am experiencing some boob growth/tissue migration - not sure if need to hurry with that. I usually prefer a 28 band in Freyas, but this one I got at a reasonable price, while the 28F (my dream size) was available for full price only. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> A pretty decent fit, I'd say. blush colourway
This bra is great, it fits really well and feels like your favorite tshirt. It's a very simple style, but still really pretty. The band feels firmer than other Freyas and I though it might not be as stretchy, but it does stretch the same amount.
Need a 28 band. The 30 closes on the tightest hook straight out of the box and I know it will stretch. Very cute bra, I have the Zest pastel colors.
Edit: I definitely quad out of this, now that I know what a better fit is. Need an F, and a smaller band, so would need a 28FF if it was made. Unfortunately it's not, so as much as I looooove this bra, I sold it. The whole point of this bra fitting quest of mine is to own and wear bras that actually fit. Sigh. Another one bites the dust.
The Angels sang as I put this bra on. It fits so well and is so comfortable. I really like the colour and pattern. It's see through, but my nipples seem to blend into the pattern so they aren't noticeable. It's a natural shape without being pointy. I purchased this bra used but in new condition. I think she tried altering the band and I can see some threads that she put in and cut before sending it to me, but it's not a problem.
I love this bra. It's so pretty and comfortable and soft. I wish I could find the matching panties, but since this design is from 2013(?) I highly doubt that I could. If anyone has a size small they've never worn, I'll buy them off you!
The band is slightly too loose, causing the straps to fall down. Using the second sets of hooks straightaway. Digs into my sternum and the fabric is scratchy so the straps irritate my skin. The embroidery on the edges of the cups shows under clothing but makes my boobs look bigger and gives a lovely shape. There is some gaping at the top and some wrinkling in the cup- maybe a 30dd would fit better? Or maybe the cups are too tall?
Even though this is meant to be the same cut as the patsy it is way more comfortable- the straps are lovely and don't irritate my skin, and doesn't seem to dig into to my sternum so much. The cups fit perfectly and are slightly smaller than the patsy. Love the interesting pattern too. Seems to be slightly better quality than the patsy as well. Gives me a nice slight cleavage.
This is such a beautiful bra i love it I just wish it fit better. I find calling this padded is misleading it has a light fabric to cover your nipples but no foam padding at all. This bra has wide wires and is on the shallower side . This is for the blue and pink polka dot version.
Pros : nice design, comfotable cups
Cons: large band need to size down in band had 30e need a 28f scratchy material pointy shape
I'm normally a 30E or 32E in several brands and am evenly full on top and bottom, and I went with a 30E in this one (I just made a quasi-educated guess, as I wasn't sure what size I'd be in the Deco; a different Freya bra fits me in a 30E size), and it doesn't fit me in several ways - the cups are too big on top (the cups don't rest on my breasts, I could stuff a fair few things in them), and the cup width is too narrow, as they cut into my outer breast tissue. Additionally, the band was too tight for me (and I like a snug band). Even if I went to a 32DD to get a looser band and smaller cup size, or tried the half cup variety, I don't think this model would fit, due to the issues with cup width not being wide enough for my shape. This seems like a better model for those with more narrow-rooted breasts than mine that are fuller on top.
Have you ever thought about just altering the band?
It's not as hard as it may sound, and most methods don't even require a sewing machine.
