I just don't get the hype regarding Deco. I have tried every size that might possibly fit me and none of them are quite right. I don't hate it, but I can't say it is a holy grail of smooth t-shirt bras for me either. This one fits OK. Regular Deco in 28F fits OK. Meh. Just OK.
This bra is a fair example of why I've been looking for unlined bras in my new size lol. It makes them look enormous. The fit and style of the bra though, spot on. There's a bit of quadding when I scoop and swoop, but not really noticeable. If I try this bra again I'll consider getting the 30F. I did notice in the measurements that a lot of Decos in 30E appear more like 30DD, or are at least somewhat smaller in the cups.
Otherwise, the band is a lot more snug than my Hopscotch Longline, which I really like. The shape works very well for me and the wires don't ...appear "too wide" like I've experienced with many of my other new bras. Fabric is very nice and soft, and I'd say about as much padding as a VS Body model, but a bit firmer.
So again, Freya has impressed me with not adding too much padding. Shape is very rounded like most other moulded bras. I really enjoy the bows on the straps also. This bra didn't look nearly as pretty in pictures as it is in person. It's very dainty, IMO. I found one in an aqua color and it's sooo pretty. Also gives some killer cleavage if you're into that.
Anyway, almost a perfect fit, you might want to go up a cup if you need more projection. I usually can't work with such a rounded shape at the top of the cup, but I actually think that is what makes this bra fit. I looked at measurements and noticed that this measures similarly to my 32D's in the cup! I'll edit this if and when I find a 30F, because I'm pretty sure I'd do a little better with that. For now the 30E doesn't make me quad to such an extent that I mind and it's not really noticeable even in a tighter top. Probably size up unless you're somewhat shallow. Either way, I think this is probably good for average to narrow roots.
Edit: I realized that one of my problems with this bra is shape. The cups are too separated. If they were just somewhat closer it would be a perfect fit. I realized this when I noticed that the top corners of the cups were slightly unfilled, but I was quadding in the center of the bra. Definitely the shape that's wrong for me, probably not the size. I think this bra is good for mildly separate boobs, average roots, FoT to even shapes, and somewhat projected. I guess now I have to start looking for gore measurements https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" /> Read more 325 more words
The center gore lays flat, which is rare for me. The cups are just too small for me. It is otherwise adorable. I have owned this in two other sizes during a major weight loss and I loved them so much I hope to find a size that fits now.
Good bra, much softer fabric than some of the other half cups (like the Patsy). The wires are a little narrower than I prefer and stiffer than I'd like but it has a good fit and is comfortable. The longline style gives a lot of support.
Thought this bra worked perfectly the first time I tried it... wore it on a few errands for about 2-3 hours and had to come home because it was uncomfortable. That band is super tight, the wires very stiff and the bra too FoB-projection for me. I ended up gaping everywhere when I moved around for my errands. Time to send this bra onto another good home!
I guess it fit, but really weirdly. Poked in along the top and gave a really bizarre shape. I was hoping it would be kind of minimizing, but the padding was quite heavy. Wouldn't recommend for anyone with close-set boobs.
This doesn't fit me anymore but is still in good condition, I never liked the shape it gave me tho - it was kind of a tear drop shape and not lifted or rounded enough from the side view.. so I didn't wear it much. but its v pretty
I'm not sure if this bra fits me or not. The band is a bit tight, but I might be okay with that. I feel like it doesn't quite encompass my breasts on the side. Looks like I have underarm fat.
This bra is much tighter than other longlines I've worn. It's snug everywhere. I like the snugness, but at times it irritates me after wearing it all day. The 'boning', while by no means heavy, usually digs in by the end. The underwires also dig into my rib cage under my breasts.
Initially this bra was incredibly painful in the gore. The person who owned it before me bent the wires, and I bent them out further. The gore still has the appearance of sitting on my sternum without the agony.
The shape from this bra is very round. There are lines going down the cups that are sometimes visible through clothing, but not to the extent of other longlines. The colour is delightful - two shades of blue pinstripes that together appear periwinkle, and yellowed wooden buttons for contrast.
30F/FF narrow and tall roots, projected, full on top
Freya half cups, why do you vex me so? Admittedly it's mostly my fault. I knew the 30E would be too small. I just love the style and want it to fit so badly. I've tried 30E and 30FF. The 30FF is too wide and the 30E spills over the top of the cup. Hopefully I will be able to try this in a 30F someday.

I don't know why I bought this. I know I'm not an E. I just love the Freya half cups. The wires of this size are the perfect width for my narrow root but I have the obvious problem of spilling out of the top of the cup. I would love to find a longline bra that fits me but it will not be this one https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
I have shallow breasts with a wide root and usually have trouble filling out Freyas (especially at the tops of the cups) as the cups generally seem to be narrower and to project more in the front. I was surprised when I tried this on and found it to fit me perfectly. It has shallow cups and the wire is long enough that I don't feel like my breasts are escaping out the sides. The fit actually reminds me so much of my Cleos that I was surprised when I got this home and realized it was a Freya. So if you like @Cleo Juna and @Cleo Lucy, ...then you'll probably like Flourish.
The band is very stretchy and super comfortable. I actually had to start wearing it on the second set of hooks, but the wider band still makes me feel quite secure and supported.
The material is soft and I love the thin amount of padding. I hate cookies and lots of padding since they force an odd, fake shape under shirts. But I have pretty 'active' nipples and prefer a wee bit of padding for modesty.
Aesthetically speaking, the bra is gorgeous. It looks great under clothes, but it's so pretty that (if you're feeling a bit bold), it also looks cute peeking out slightly from low-cut tops.
The only issue is that if you have a bit of a belly and a tendency to slouch, you might have to adjust the lacy bits of the band as they can roll up. But even then, the bra doesn't feel uncomfortable. Overall, highly recommended! Read more 154 more words
I really wanted to love this bra but the cups are too small and the band is too big. I feel like the bands in the Freya long lines must run big since all three of the models I have were too big even before I lost an inch off my underbust.
I have 2 other Deco Honeys that fit me in 28F. bought this bra from a sale and had to sister size. I´m planning to shorten the band because it is too big for me. It fits now when I use the tightest hooks.
The cups are a little problematic. I have the same thing going on than in my other Decos. The cups cut in in the center / top when I S&S. After a while the cutting in disappears completely in my other 28F Decos (firecracker and iris). In the topaz one some quadboob remains. There is one detail that is different in the topaz version, compared to my other versions, there is a sewed line in the top of the cups. Maybe this is to prevent the cups from bending / curving outwards? I think this might also be the reason why there´s more cutting in.
Other than that the bra is same to my other ones. Great rounded shape, great uplift, great cleavage https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
This bra is really cute and definitely gives some nice lift but I need a bigger cup and tighter band. I found that the quadboob was worse in this model than the Ivy or Totally Tartan.
Another Freya longline I wanted to love but it was too big in the band and too small in the cup for me. There might have been a brief period it would have fit but I unfortunately lost an inch off my underbust and gained a cup size right after I got this.
This bra is very pretty, and I love the shape that longline bras give me. The fit is reasonably good, with a snug band and cups that work well for my wider root. One small issue is that the band can feel constricting after a long day of wear. However, it's become one of my regular bras because the half cups work for my shape, and with regular wear, I hope the band will stretch to a more comfortable fit.
compared to the other bra you posted, this one looks shorter and narrower - and that seems to make it not fit as well
