This is another (bubblegum) pink bra I bought from the same ABTF user. It's super pretty, has a slight satiny feeling inside the cups, but it's mostly a stretch lace/mesh type material. Very comfortable. Band is snug, straps are fully adjustable, center wires touch. Shape is fairly rounded, though when I tried it on last night I got a pointer, but still perky shape. My boobs are naturally pointy and tube-y, so I think it really depends on how you adjust yourself in the bra (if you have softer tissue I guess) and your natural shape. Detailing is very pretty and delicate. I'm not entirely sure if cups are intended fof FoT FoB ...or even, but I'm about even, functionally FoB, and this works very well for me. Cups don't stop at a strange angle or height like the Patsy. This has a closer fit IMO, to the Eden and Starlet on me. Even Siren. It just gives a rounder shape than all 3.
Band is fairly firm, but I've also temporarily gone up to like 30.5" underbust https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> so that may be why.
Cups are close enough for me, wires are pretty narrow at about 5", which is great. I haven't checked depth yet, but so far it feels great and there is no gapping or quadding.
I was completely surprised to find that this bra fit, aside from the band being far too loose. It was very comfy, even the straps with their weird crinkled material. (That made the straps kind of hard to adjust, but they stayed put once I got them tight enough.) I tried to hook the j-hook but I couldn't figure out how to do it with the straps adjusted to fit me.
So happy with this bra!! It's the first nearly perfect fit in my bra adventures! Pros: Comfortable, soft fabric, band is perfect, cups are lined/lightly padded and for the first time EVER I have OOMPH without bulky padding! It really pushes my boobs up and it creates a really nice shape. I would say that if I had bigger breasts, it could potentially create an NSFW look...but since I have a smaller chest, it's perfect and provides the fuller look that I prefer. I recommend going down a band size and up a cup size. I'm typically a 32DD and the 30E fits perfect.
Cons: Non that I can think of right now!
Edit: Wore it for 11 hours and really had some problems with the underwires staying in my fold, therefore, the gore dug into my chest and I couldn't adjust the bands enough without them digging into my shoulders. I discovered I am too projected for this size bra. My guess is, I could benefit from a 30F.
This is such a cute bra! I love the color and the fit. I think the underwire might be a little tight on my ribs under my armpits, but overall comfortable and the cup is perfect. I might try a larger band. I wish this came in a nude/t-shirt color, because it looks great under a white shirt aside from the color (bright pink and blue polka-dots don't work under white!).
I had really high hopes for this bra based off of measurements and my knowledge of it.
I've done well with the Freya Siren, Unlined Eden, and Starlet in 30E. I'm unsure how similar they really are, but they DO give a somewhat similar shape.
This bra is just...it gives that not-wearing-a-bra-full-on-bottom&perky look, which, the others do, and I like..but this one, there's something off. It pushes you further outward, unlike the others.
I've been reading reviews, and after realizing the other day that I'm lopsided (semi more FoT and fuller on left, more FoB on right), and that I can't determine my shape the average way because they're weird- I'm ...just going with FoB-even, and shallow on top. And, this bra shows it.
I also have a lot of muscle that even I confuse with boob. There appears to be more tissue on top, and thus, FoT, but I have long roots and it's so shallow that I do better with FoB bras.
I can fill out the bottoms of the cups, but the tops are wrinkly and when I look down, I just see two triangles. Not as bad as not wearing a bra, but just..odd.
Not like the Siren,Eden unlined, or Starlet either. I can fill out those cups in 30E perfectly and they give me that perky, natural, semi pointer shape, while looking much more filled out on bottom from lifting.
This, it seems to have side support or something, which puts your boobs up front and center. In a bad way. I need up front and centered cups with depth, definitely. I don't like how side support and/or whatever is going on here on the sides to push my tissue MORE forward- makes my boobs look.
I'm already thin boobed and have little width and more depth, so it makes me look like I'm wearing a bullet bra. I also have tall roots, so this bra just looks silly on me like my Just Peachy Lace Non Padded Balconette. I wanted to love that bra and it had perfect wires, but it just looked funny.
Speaking of wires, the wires on this bra weren't quite as narrow as I had expected. Though I fear, if they were any narrower, I may have more torpedo-esque boobs.
I guess I've learned that while I need depth, I like somewhat heavier material(this is a very very thin mesh-like material), or at least this material cut in a semi different way that flattens my boobs just a bit..or at least doesn't wrinkle.
The band is also decent. It's not like the Cleo Maya I received, or Freya Deco Vibe, but still seems supportive.
I thought of trying to trade this for a 30DD or 28E, but I'm unsure. Maybe it's just not for me.
If you need projection, but are less full on top, or shalllow all around definitely, this bra is not for you.
If you need narrower wires, a lot of upper or all around projection, it may work for you. If you do want to try this bra but are shallow on top, maybe try sizing down in the cup. I'm not sure, as I haven't tried that, and I'm not so crazy about this bra that I would desire to keep trying to make it work. Also, if you're looking for a bra that gives you bullet bra boobs, look no further.
I'm pretty sure I'd like to sell this. If anyone reads this and you're interested, just inbox me. It just doesn't seem compatibles with my shape.
Edit: I just looked at the photos of this bra, in the light, and realized that it wrinkles some at the bottom too. This is probably because I'm not full anywhere really but the center. Oh dear. Not tubey booby friendly. This will be listed.
I just don't get the hype regarding Deco. I have tried every size that might possibly fit me and none of them are quite right. I don't hate it, but I can't say it is a holy grail of smooth t-shirt bras for me either. This one fits OK. Regular Deco in 28F fits OK. Meh. Just OK.
This bra is a fair example of why I've been looking for unlined bras in my new size lol. It makes them look enormous. The fit and style of the bra though, spot on. There's a bit of quadding when I scoop and swoop, but not really noticeable. If I try this bra again I'll consider getting the 30F. I did notice in the measurements that a lot of Decos in 30E appear more like 30DD, or are at least somewhat smaller in the cups.
Otherwise, the band is a lot more snug than my Hopscotch Longline, which I really like. The shape works very well for me and the wires don't ...appear "too wide" like I've experienced with many of my other new bras. Fabric is very nice and soft, and I'd say about as much padding as a VS Body model, but a bit firmer.
So again, Freya has impressed me with not adding too much padding. Shape is very rounded like most other moulded bras. I really enjoy the bows on the straps also. This bra didn't look nearly as pretty in pictures as it is in person. It's very dainty, IMO. I found one in an aqua color and it's sooo pretty. Also gives some killer cleavage if you're into that.
Anyway, almost a perfect fit, you might want to go up a cup if you need more projection. I usually can't work with such a rounded shape at the top of the cup, but I actually think that is what makes this bra fit. I looked at measurements and noticed that this measures similarly to my 32D's in the cup! I'll edit this if and when I find a 30F, because I'm pretty sure I'd do a little better with that. For now the 30E doesn't make me quad to such an extent that I mind and it's not really noticeable even in a tighter top. Probably size up unless you're somewhat shallow. Either way, I think this is probably good for average to narrow roots.
Edit: I realized that one of my problems with this bra is shape. The cups are too separated. If they were just somewhat closer it would be a perfect fit. I realized this when I noticed that the top corners of the cups were slightly unfilled, but I was quadding in the center of the bra. Definitely the shape that's wrong for me, probably not the size. I think this bra is good for mildly separate boobs, average roots, FoT to even shapes, and somewhat projected. I guess now I have to start looking for gore measurements https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" /> Read more 325 more words
The center gore lays flat, which is rare for me. The cups are just too small for me. It is otherwise adorable. I have owned this in two other sizes during a major weight loss and I loved them so much I hope to find a size that fits now.
Good bra, much softer fabric than some of the other half cups (like the Patsy). The wires are a little narrower than I prefer and stiffer than I'd like but it has a good fit and is comfortable. The longline style gives a lot of support.
Thought this bra worked perfectly the first time I tried it... wore it on a few errands for about 2-3 hours and had to come home because it was uncomfortable. That band is super tight, the wires very stiff and the bra too FoB-projection for me. I ended up gaping everywhere when I moved around for my errands. Time to send this bra onto another good home!
I guess it fit, but really weirdly. Poked in along the top and gave a really bizarre shape. I was hoping it would be kind of minimizing, but the padding was quite heavy. Wouldn't recommend for anyone with close-set boobs.
This doesn't fit me anymore but is still in good condition, I never liked the shape it gave me tho - it was kind of a tear drop shape and not lifted or rounded enough from the side view.. so I didn't wear it much. but its v pretty
I'm not sure if this bra fits me or not. The band is a bit tight, but I might be okay with that. I feel like it doesn't quite encompass my breasts on the side. Looks like I have underarm fat.
This bra is much tighter than other longlines I've worn. It's snug everywhere. I like the snugness, but at times it irritates me after wearing it all day. The 'boning', while by no means heavy, usually digs in by the end. The underwires also dig into my rib cage under my breasts.
Initially this bra was incredibly painful in the gore. The person who owned it before me bent the wires, and I bent them out further. The gore still has the appearance of sitting on my sternum without the agony.
The shape from this bra is very round. There are lines going down the cups that are sometimes visible through clothing, but not to the extent of other longlines. The colour is delightful - two shades of blue pinstripes that together appear periwinkle, and yellowed wooden buttons for contrast.
30F/FF narrow and tall roots, projected, full on top
Freya half cups, why do you vex me so? Admittedly it's mostly my fault. I knew the 30E would be too small. I just love the style and want it to fit so badly. I've tried 30E and 30FF. The 30FF is too wide and the 30E spills over the top of the cup. Hopefully I will be able to try this in a 30F someday.
30F/FF narrow and tall roots, projected, full on top
I don't know why I bought this. I know I'm not an E. I just love the Freya half cups. The wires of this size are the perfect width for my narrow root but I have the obvious problem of spilling out of the top of the cup. I would love to find a longline bra that fits me but it will not be this one https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
I have shallow breasts with a wide root and usually have trouble filling out Freyas (especially at the tops of the cups) as the cups generally seem to be narrower and to project more in the front. I was surprised when I tried this on and found it to fit me perfectly. It has shallow cups and the wire is long enough that I don't feel like my breasts are escaping out the sides. The fit actually reminds me so much of my Cleos that I was surprised when I got this home and realized it was a Freya. So if you like @Cleo Juna and @Cleo Lucy, ...then you'll probably like Flourish.
The band is very stretchy and super comfortable. I actually had to start wearing it on the second set of hooks, but the wider band still makes me feel quite secure and supported.
The material is soft and I love the thin amount of padding. I hate cookies and lots of padding since they force an odd, fake shape under shirts. But I have pretty 'active' nipples and prefer a wee bit of padding for modesty.
Aesthetically speaking, the bra is gorgeous. It looks great under clothes, but it's so pretty that (if you're feeling a bit bold), it also looks cute peeking out slightly from low-cut tops.
The only issue is that if you have a bit of a belly and a tendency to slouch, you might have to adjust the lacy bits of the band as they can roll up. But even then, the bra doesn't feel uncomfortable. Overall, highly recommended! Read more 154 more words
compared to the other bra you posted, this one looks shorter and narrower - and that seems to make it not fit as well
