A good t-shirt bra, but doesn't quite fit perfectly. The top of the cup gapes, and the problem was not fixed when I tried a size down. The gape doesn't show under clothing, however, so I kept the bra since the overall fit was fine.
This bra is better than any other I've found so far.
The band fits nicely, though the fabric is a bit stiff and scratchy. The support is good. Shape is nice, though the seam in the center of the cup gives an odd look under clothes.
I think it may not be quite wide enough for me, especially my larger breast. I just have a little extra boob falling into my armpit out of the side of the cup.
Also, I need to give up on anything but plunge bras as my sternum doesn't seem to love having a gore pressed against it.
This bra is okay. It fits fairly well and isn't inherently uncomfortable. I do not think I am the right shape for it though - this bra makes my breasts look pointy? Lumpy? Square? I'm not really sure how to describe it. I don't think it supports the sides of my breasts well. It may even be too narrow. I like the print of the bra. Because of the shape on me, I usually avoid this one in my rotation.
I love the look of Freya's longlines, but the underwire is just too short for me, and causes armpit wings--and then I have a little bit of a gap at the top of the cup. The band is nice and snug, and the gore is comfortable.
I love the look of this bra, and it fits reasonably well--I have a tiny bit of space in the cup (but not anything crazy), and the band is comfortable. It's giving me a weird "wing" on the side (under my armpit), though, so I'm not sure if I'll keep it or not.
I love the way this bra feels! It is slightly padded in the cups. I am very wary about non padded bras and this bra has just enough padding so my boobs don't look fake. I like the wide band and wide straps as my boobs feel supported. But it doesn't fit! I have some wrinkling close to the gore and quad boob! Not sure what this means.
I'm very fond of this bra. While I find the patterning and colours rather bland, it's very comfortable and fits well. The band is stretchy. I would prefer it to be tighter, but it still smooths out my silhouette in the back. It gives the breasts a very round appearance. Like the other Freya longlines I have worn, this one has seams across the cups that stick out through my clothing. The bottom will also flip up if I wear my bra too low; if I wear it higher, I usually do not have this problem.
Very cute. I slightly quadboob. The gore really digs in a lot, so I've gently bent the wires in the center outward. But the straps are really soft and the band is soft! It's a very attractive bra that doesn't have flowery patterns or anything. It has a nice denim look.
It provides really good support. I have bottom heavy breasts and I can fit into a 30f when I am normally a 30ff so I can see too heavy breast not fitting well. The seam shows through shirts. This bras is very comfortable.
How this is a 30 band size I don't know. It's really long. I think it's a bit too big in the band and a bit too small in the cup. Well-made, three seamed cup, pretty decorations and a nice thick band.
I ordered this bra in different sizes. This one was too small for me in the cups. Got some quadboobing and a weird pointy and droopy shape. The shape of the fitting 30F - Freya ยป Ooh La La Plunge Balcony Bra (1481) was much nicer and rounder.
This bra is quite comfortable. I bought it as my first bra after finding out my true size, and I was overall pleased with how well it fit. The straps are a nice sturdy width and didn't fall down, and I was able to adjust them to a comfortable length. I don't have any issues with the gore digging in to my sternum or with the underwires poking into my sides. When I scooped 'n swooped my boobs into the cups, they fit the cups nicely, but if I don't, and I slouch or don't stand/sit up straight, there will be a gap between the top of the ...cup and my breasts. After wearing it a few times, I wash it on delicate setting in my washing machine and lay it out to air dry. I notice there are a few tiny threads coming from the gore where there are two decorative buttons, but everything else, the cups, straps, and hook & eye closures are holding up fine. I put it on the first column of hooks, and every time I think I should move it up a column, but the bra fits fine on the first column still. I don't wear the bra every day, so it hasn't gotten extensive use, but I would say the band's elasticity is fairly good. Read more 114 more words
I bought this bra, wore it for five or six months, and bought three more. It's clean and basic, looks smooth under clothes, and is basically perfect for my shape (wide-based and shallow on a muscular, square-shouldered frame). I haven't found it to be minimizing like some people have said - on me it hits just the right balance of lift and projection and makes my boobs look the best they ever have.
The wires did dig into my sternum a little bit until I bent them outward, but I've yet to encounter a bra in my correct size that doesn't do that so it may just be the way I'm built. My only real complaint is that the band seems to stretch out fairly quickly, as I'm already wearing the first one I bought on the tightest hook. Possibly my fault for wearing it three times a week.
Damn at the cleavage. It's my first Deco, and people have always talked about the great cleavage from the Deco, but I didn't really believe it until now. What I do believe is that I'm always going to have a problem with padded plunges - padded bras in general - showing up as a line under my shirts or fitting weirdly when I slouch or move my shoulders. It's just odd. Still, this one is super cute, great cleavage, won't matter under V-necks really anyway, and matches my hoard of black underwear. Definitely keeping.
Get great lift, forward projection and comfort. My biggest complaint is that I usually wear a 30F, so this is a cup size smaller, and somehow I get this weird empty pocket at the bottom of the cup near center gore??? Luckily it's not visible under clothes.
I bought this bra while I was learning more about my actual size, and before I knew anything about how stretchy Freya bands can be. Freya calls this a balconnet style but I think it's closer to a full-coverage, based on the fact that while the E is a little wrinkly at the top of the cup, the DD gives me quadraboob. If you're full on top or have even fullness, you'll probably face the same issue.
The pros: I really like the fabric - a sort of "garden-gate" pattern, thick mesh; the underwires are sturdy; it's comfortable all day; and the seams don't show too prominently under ...clothes. The styling is interesting and quite unlike anything else I've owned - sort of 'modernist' looking, with no bows or lace. The straps are fully-adjustable and wide enough that they don't dig in, but not so wide that they look frumpy or grandma-ish. The cups don't make me look pointy. My Rios have lasted in good condition for at least a year, as long as I rotate among them regularly.
The cons: the band, like most Freya bands, is stretchy. I recommend going down a size in the band (and correspondingly up a cup size). It comes in only 3 colors currently - red, white, and black - which is boring. The nude color was discontinued, but supposedly is coming back in July 2014.
The bottom line: Rio is good value for the quality and fit, and it'll continue to be my go-to, every day bra. Read more 148 more words
