For me, this bra is the perfect hybrid of the Cleo Minnie (in 32F) and Panache Jasmine (in 32FF). Both of these bras fit me pretty well but the Minnie is a bit small in the cup, and the jasmine is a little big (the very high wires were the main issue). I searched on here and ABTF to figure out something that might be a "Goldilocks bra",and this is it! It has more of the dimensions of the minnie, with the shorter wire length, but with deeper cups that are almost what my jasmine measures.

I have even to somewhat FOT boobs. I have read that this ... fits similarly to the Arabella, only more open on top. For me the top of the cup lays just flat, so I am not sure how it would work for anyone who is truly FOT. Wire width is on the slightly narrow side for this size range. The band runs large, pretty much the same length as my cleo and panache bras in 32 when they were new. Typical freya.

Minor issues- Rubs a little in the armpit area. I usually get this with all bras and it tends to go away after a few wears and washes. I have the blush colorway, which is much more pink than I expected. Will still function as a "nude" bra for me, just not so much of a pink fan personally. It looked a bit more peach in the photographs. Also the bra has a little more full coverage look, the lace comes up a little higher than I would like. Not a total granny bra, but not a really "sexy" bra either...the fact that it is completely sheer does at least help it out a little. I have even folded the lace under and tucked it for under more open necklines.

TLDR: Try it f you really like the fit of the Cleo Minnie and are looking for a similar fit outside of the Marcie sister cut family. I would sister size down from your panache/cleo size. Good for even types with average/narrowish roots; YMMV if FOT or FOB.

My shape: teardrop set at average height, with super tall and super wide roots that give me all the shallow-boob fitting problems but with more projection, very close-set tissue in the middle, and firm tissue that fights back when squished or pushed out of shape

I love longlines, and I love this longline. It's definitely cuter in person! I am not usually much for prints, but I am glad I decided to swap for this one. Unfortunately for me, it's too large in the cups by probably 2 sizes, just like the 30FF - Freya » Patsy Padded Half Cup Bra (1223) I recently tried, although ... the difference in size didn't seem as vast for some reason. If I pull my shoulders back, like I am in one of the photos, you can see how it still gaps along my smaller breast. Because the cups are too large and stand away, they also create a very angular open neckline across my bust (which would be hidden by clothes but would still bug me), and it isn't flattering.

It's not helped by the fact that the straps are in my armpits and almost falling off my shoulders, but both the regular Patsy and the 30G - Freya » Patsy Padded Half Cup Bra (1223) did the same thing. Note: the straps rarely actually fell off my shoulders, but they sit right on the point and I don't like it.

I could probably stand to size down in the band if they made it, because it was comfy-to-loose on the second row of hooks, although it could still work because the larger band distributes tension and support better across the larger fabric expanse. Sizing down might not help with the straps issue, though, but I have learned with my other Freyas that I should be wearing almost exclusively 28s in this brand.

The wires under my arm are still a teensy bit narrow for me, which surprised me given how many people have trouble with them being too wide, and how many people have noted they are so much wider than the Freya plunges. However, as with all the Freyas I have ever tried (and quite a lot of other bras as well but to a lesser extent), they are also a steeper curve than my roots require, although they are pretty close. There was a little slight scratchy feeling while I was taking photos, but I'm sure that would come out with a wash or two.

The gore lays flat and it doesn't dig, which is nice for such a comparatively high and wide bridge. I think the bottom of the cups were actually filled ok, which is much better than my 30FF - Freya » Deco Charm Moulded Plunge Bra (1471) , and I understand that all the half cups are much better about projection than their plunge counterparts, so that's promising!

    Now to find a 30E!

Since I got this bra, it has turned into the only one I'll wear. It's finally dying now, 2 years after purchase, and I'm at a loss because nothing else even compares.

It's the only molded bra that even comes close to accommodating my projection (although I still get a crease at the bottom of the cup) and has lovely narrow underwires that don't hang out in my armpit. I do wish they came up a touch higher, but otherwise they're great.

It was a little stiff at first and required some breaking in, but otherwise is very comfortable. Gives the ideal shape and great cleavage. Cups are good for a tall root--they cut in enough to prevent gaping but not so much as to create quadding. My only complaints are the strap anchorage, which is shoddy, uncovered, and rubs uncomfortably, and the stupid stretchy Freya band that exploded from a 30 to something more like a 34 after about 5 months of wear.

This bra is GORGEOUS but definitely too large in the band and too wide in the cups for me. Seems like all the Freya halfcups are too wide, but they're so cute! Best for average to FOT shapes, average to wide roots. This bra does only have 2 columns of hooks & eyes.

This bra fits! What makes it work for me, I think, is that the cups are open enough on top to accommodate my tall roots, and that I get good uplift from the vertical seams. The resulting shape is round and slightly minimized.

Note: Marvel is WIDE in the cups. It would be too wide for my average roots, in fact, were it not for the side support--that seems to alleviate the extra space I'd have in the cups otherwise. Like most Freya bras, the band was stretchy enough that I preferred a 30-inch band, vs. the 32-inch band I wear in Cleo. The gore isn't the most comfortable ever, but tolerable enough that I'd definitely say the bra fits.

I like this cut a lot, and I hope Freya would bring it back for future styles. I think the Marvel line would have done even better if it had included better colorways--the beige is fine but boring, and the two print options do nothing for me. The shape makes it worth it, though!

My shape: slightly shallow teardrop/FOB with super wide/tall roots and very close-set tissue in the middle

This review is for the black colorway.

I received this bra in a swap. I like the color scheme a lot, actually. I am not usually a fan of prints, but the little bubbles and the purple lace edging (and bows on the center bridge and straps!) are super cute. A 30FF was definitely the right size.

Unfortunately, because it's been loved before, the band has stretched some. I do wonder if I might be better off with a 28 in new Freyas anyway and just wear an extender for the first month or two, ... because my 30FF - Freya » Deco Charm Moulded Plunge Bra (1471) has stretched so much I'm going to have to move the hooks to be able to keep wearing it. All my "fit info" is from wearing this bra on the tightest hook, because the other two are much too loose.

Also, the center bridge is too wide and too tall for my boobs, as is the case with my 30G - Freya » Patsy Padded Half Cup Bra (1223) . It doesn't actually poke, but the wires are definitely sitting on top of breast tissue, and the top ends leave pressure marks after about 10 minutes; there's no bruising like with some I've tried, but it's not ideal. The bridge itself lays very, very flat on my chest, though, and it certainly tacks well. Experimenting with a dart makes the cups gape at a funny angle and pushes the straps too far out on my shoulders, but I may try to take out a half cm all the way down and see if it's more comfortable.

The cup shape is pretty good. I usually have trouble with the tops of cups digging in for styles that are too projected or gaping when they are designed for someone more FOT, but these really only gape a little when I hunch my shoulders forward, and they are low enough and set at the right angle so there is no cutting in, even when I really arch my back and throw back my shoulders. Hooray!

The wires are also lovely and wide! My breast root is shaped like the Nike symbol under my arms, and these actually follow the shape of it pretty well, which is a complete first. Even my Patsy was a little too steeply curved on the outside. Most of the time I need the wires as wide as I can get them, but when they have the right angle of curve they can be a lot narrower. Hooray again!

Update: I have discovered the only real downside to this bra: there is NO nipple discretion at all. SO MUCH SHOW THROUGH. It is a shame because it's super comfy, so I wear it anyway, but mine are prominent so it can get pretty obvious.

I've never owned a strapless bra before – didn't think it was possible with my bust shape and size. I tried on the Fantasie 4530 but found it horribly stiff and the profile was far more east-west than I like. So I decided to try the deco. While the fit isn't perfect, it does work as a strapless as long as the dress I'm wearing has a decent amount of structure up top. The problem I have with this bra is that the top of the cup splays out to the sides. I suspect it's slightly too big for me but I was spilling out of the 30F, so that wasn't an option. I have fairly soft breast tissue, which I know doesn't work in my favour here, so I think this bra will suffice even if not perfect. And hey, with the straps attached, it's just fine, so if nothing else, I can use it as a multiway bra, which is pretty handy too!

This bra is not a perfect fit on me, but it's actually very comfortable and I love the black with pink and green colourway. I can wear it under almost anything and not even feel I am wearing a bra. So despite the fit issues, the fact that I'm comfortable always trumps the technical issues. With regards to these technical issues, the band is clearly loose and the bottom of the band does not even come in contact with my back in the middle. But with 6 hooks, the bra still manages to stay somewhat in place. The most discomfort I get is from the gore. Since it doesn't tack, it sometimes sits on breast tissue and so lying down in this bra is out of the question as I'd get stabbed and poked pretty badly. All that being said, I love this bra and this is my second of the same size and colour so that speaks to how comfortable with it being a regular rotation daytime bra.

  14. Icon Moulded Plunge Bra (1663)

I was curious how the Freya Icon Moulded Plunge Bra would compare to my Ewa Michalak 3Ds, which are also plunges but have relatively low coverage cups. I tried the Freya Icon in 30F and 30FF. This one, the 30FF, has what we would call a good fit, after swooping and scooping. I bought this to enter into Bratabase. I'll return it because (1) the dark gray lace combined with hot pink moulded cups looks hideous to me; (2) the cups, if you include the gray stretch lace, are high coverage on me, similar to almost all UK bras on my petite frame; and (3) I have a lot of low coverage plunge bras, the Ewa Michalak 3D models in 65F, that are a good fit and look prettier.

This bra is pretty but definitely too big. I thought it might fit despite my Just Flew In in a 30F fitting/being slightly too big most days of the month...sigh. On the plus side, the fabric is soft and the wires are relatively narrow, although obviously wider than my JFI.

  16. Arabella Plunge Balcony Bra (5721)

This bra is gorgeous, obviously. The band seems a bit stretchy, but I do have to wear an extender with it for now, which is unusual for me with Freyas. I expect it will loosen up with a few wears. Wires are definitely too wide, reaching near the back of my armpit on one side, but as I'm fairly small there it doesn't rub my arm so creates no discomfort. I had to bend the center gore on it, because it's a bit too wide at the top, but with that minor adjustment it's not longer sitting on breast tissue and therefore not a problem. My main gripe ... with this bra is the shape it gives me - I've got a tiny bit of east/west going on (probably only noticeable to someone looking straight down my chest, which hopefully no one will be doing!). I think this is due to the wider gore and the complete and total lack of side support. If I don't swoop and scoop perfectly in this bra my nipples end up a little crazy too, with one pointing out and one pointing down, but as long as I'm careful it's not an issue. It also has a bit of a pointy profile, which is not my favorite shape, but it doesn't look like a bullet bra or anything. In certain positions it also looks like I'm being a bit flattened, so I fear it may not have quite enough projection for me. For a bra with so much detailing, it's firstly unobtrusive under shirts. As long it's it's dark colored and not paper thin, I think it will work.

All of this aside, it is a beautiful and comfortable bra, and I'll definitely be keeping it and testing out what clothes it works best with.

I love the design of this bra. It fits perfectly. One thing I would change, would be that it is covered in real lace. I find lace patterns cheap looking, and although I tried this on and it fit perfectly, I didn't buy it for that reason.

I lost some weight.. I thought I will go for the 30FF but it was too small in the cups. So I need the 30G.

Also, with my shallow and separate boobs, it is a very nice bra to have as it pushes everything to the front.
I'm already thinking of the plunging tops I will be proud to wear this summer!
